I had booked a xuv 300 w6 diesel giving a sum Of rupes 5000 as booking amount, , afterwards on 6th Sept I bought the same through mahindra finance for which I paid the down payment required in full, , but the advance I had given has not been refunded by the showroom at gangtok sikkim motors, , I enquired abt the same and they gave me the reason, that my advance 5000 has been deducted for the transhipment of my booked vehicle and the insurance for bringing my booked xuv from somewhere else to the showroom in gangtok sikkim motors, , I hv no idea if this is true or not, , in my view bringing n delivering the booked car ie XUV 300 is the sole responsibility of the company before it is handed over to me, , how have I been given the burden of transport cost n insurance cost of the route the xuv took to reach the showroom, , I think I have the right to know everything, , n my advance should be refunded after all I have given the required down payment in full, , and the advance has not been included in the downpayment..or should I bring this to the notice of the media or the consumer forum if I'm on the right, , pl look into this seriously. Thank u
