My new Mahindra TUV300 T4 variant purchased from Angel Mahindra, Vasai, gives 8 Km per litre., as against 18.5 kmpl claimed by the company. After running for 1500 Km under different conditions, after getting checked with Mahindra service station, NBS Intl., Sewri, nothing improved.

It is a commercial vehicle, the fuel efficiency is crucial for running the vehicle on road. The car is permanently parked. Business stopped. The driver was fired for the mistake of the car, over fuel and mileage mismatch.

There should be some serious manufacturing defect in vehicle. I cannot trust service stations any more. Please look into the matter and arrange to rectify the defects immediately.

The loss of faith by closing services after starting business is another serious blow.

The dealer has been informed. So far no response from him.

    I have approached the Vijayawada service dealer as gear's are moving very easily and steering also tight. I given my car by 10.45 am with prior appointment, service adviser has noted all my complaints. I given a call to him by 3 pm as he said mechanic been not allotted till that time, after 1 hr he called me up and said that they have not diagnosis the problem y gear's are moving freely. As per my knowledge there is no proper trained mechanics, i have asked him when u will tell the exact problem. He said that he don't know then I shouted him and asked about steering also then he is saying that he forgot about that problem. Then I screwed his happiness and went to dealer point.
    Then he said that my car had a trouble of gear shifter mechanism problem and that part is not available and it will be get it done in 15 to 20 days. Again I shouted and asked until then i kept my car ideally then his supervisor came and convinced me that she will get it done in two days as it was available in Vizag...I said ok and came back...next day evening i received a call and they said that part will come in 10 to 12 days.
    My Concern:
    1. There is no proper trained mechanics
    2. There is no proper service advisers
    3. There are not maintaining the spare parts...even regular parts also
    4. There is lack of communication to the customers.
    5. There is no proper receiving

    This is not only 1st time, from the last 3 years i have faced many times..every time i have to fight with them.

        Hello sir,
        My self Nayi HashmukhBhai Prahladbhai, I bought a Mahindra Pickup(GJ 02 XX 5050) on 12th March 2016 from Shreeji Motors, Mehsana. my car's Front two tyres wear out just in 7 month. i complaint to dealer at Mehsana about this issue but they didnt give me answer. so please do something for that and give me a justice.

          Sir,

          I bought a new Mahindra Supro van(inv16R000873) from TV Sundram iyengar & sons Ltd Kollam Kerala. I have been facing the problem (front suspension and crank shift) since 20-August-2016 (vehicle had run 5000 km approx), but the service station representatives are taking no responsibilities and cheating me for last three months. I have lost a lot of time and money due to this problem. Please take the necessary action as earliest as possible.

            Our vehicle goes to your service centre in mathura named atmaram enterprises on last month for service then they told so many parts will be changed for proper maintenance.
            We gave him clearance to do best in his part but they change only chargeable items and not change under guaranty parts and said non available to him. And also suggest that these parts also available in Patwa motors Indore.
            Today, In Indore, patwa motors take our vehicle after confirming of parts availability and after 5.00pm they said parts not available in their store and they are unable to chage them.

              Its almost 45 days in your Trivandrum agency for repair they are not finishing the job
              They are not giving the proper repair also
              This is a repeat job last time also I given for this same complaint and they are fail to give me good service
              What can I do?

                Hi,

                To whomsoever it may concern,

                This regarding a new buy of Mahindra TUV 300 T8 on 31st Oct on the name of Nikita Agarwal, vehicle no MH04 HM 6567.

                We have booked this car in 4th Week of Oct and our pathetic sales representatives name was Mr. Nitin and his TL Mr. Sumeet from Infinity Autolink dealer in Vikhroli LBS. I have a list of complaint which is as below...

                - Mr. Nitin is been continuously giving us false commitment and he has no solution to any damn query what we have asked, whatever request was made to him there is always a negative from his side.
                - It was we who were calling him and asking the status over the car but there was not a single incoming call from him to show any concerns, car was decided to deliver on 31Oct but no timing was decided, so we were expecting a call on 30th but he had switch of the phone and I have to visit this stupid showroom to check at what time we will get the car.
                - Car was suppost to be deliver by 10:30 but he did all his slow process and gave the car by 1pm.
                - Car was not all washed there were finger prints of workers from inside, above all this illiterate stupid sales guy has that odesitiy to tell me that if it was not done properly then you should have said us we would have done it, if this was the case then why the heck do you even wash and give it to customer, we can go to 3M and do the needful.
                - Insurance was not provided to me on that day, even for that I had to follow up with this called Mr. Nitin and then he gave me after request.
                - During every initial discussion there was a common query that will this car be delivered on time and can it hit the road but there was a issue of number and registration as it was festive season, Mr. Nitin said if you buy a number and pay extra we can do the things faster and it will cost extra 10000/-, I did the same thing at 5000/- from RTO and gave the reciept to him but still he wasn't able to create the CRTM and register the vehicle.
                My car is standing on parking for past 1week and this Infinity Autolink illiterate executive are only saying sorry and not able to help us further.
                If this was suppose to happen then why the hell did I paid extra to RTO 5000/- as this same work could have been done by normal procedure by TC number, I paid this extra money so that my vehicle can be in use for outstation.
                I am the only one who is following up with your sales exec for every issue there has been 0 attempt by him to solve customer query, this whole week I am being calling this Rude sales guy Mr. Nitin and reminding him about registration of vehicle and he is been giving me commitment everyday and not fulfilling.

                In this whole discussion there is Mr. Sumeet who is suppose to be the most incompetent TL I have ever met in my life span who is knowing about each and everything but botherless to step in and and take charge, even he was suppose to call me but he royally ignore and reply us that he will call back but there is no revert from him. So at times I feel there is no point in saying Mr. Nitin as his TL is useless to train and Handel escalations.

                However I have bared immense loss due to Infinity Autolink and would want to cancel the whole deal and want my money refund, we are complaining about this whole issue in nearby police station and also going present that copy to consumer forum.

                This mail or appeal is to take serious action in these stupid illiterate incompetent sales guys so that no other customer face issues like me.

                Would expect a revert on this as I am handing over this vehicle tomorrow to the showroom.

                  I have been calling up dealers in Gurgaon, Delhi as well as Noida for a test drive of new Thar. I have been doing this ever since the ban on registration on Thar in NCR has been lifted by Supreme court. However, to my utter surprise, non of the dealers in complete NCR has a test drive vehicle or even a vehicle on display so that one can see available features. How will a customer get a feel of what he intends to buy? Very bad!!!

                    On 27th september i have purchased mahindra xuv 500 chassis no. Maiyuzhhug6h12127 from india garage since the day of taking the delivery of the vehicle i am in immense mental agony because of the poor service from every one starting from sales executive to service engineer. At the time of deivery sales executive mrs. Kavitha promised me that executive will come to my place to explain the features of vehicle so far no one has turned on. While driving the right side is pulling the service people have attended but not rectified the problem. Boot sensor is blowing all the time.in spite of several follow ups and remainders there is no action done on above mentioned issues. I hope atleast from now on there will be proper response from your side. If these issues are not solved there is no option for me then to go to consumer court.

                          I have purchased a mahindra TUV 300 on 7 Oct from win win auto mobiles bhopal when they have opened their sales depo at indore.
                          the deal was that they will be providing matting, seat covers and complete bumper front and back in the decided price.

                          since the first day at the time of delivery i have to take the vehicle to service station as its Milo meter was malfunctioning.one of the arm rest is broken which was told that it will be replaced but no response.
                          at night also when i was parking the vehicle some sound was coming (which is still coming).
                          on the third day when i was on highway some noise from engine start coming

                          i called the sales staff who sold me the vehicle but nobody responded at 10 am.

                          i just switch off the engine and waited again when i started the vehicle it started and i went on tour as it was urgent
                          after that when i complained after calling them regularly they told me to take the vehicle to service station
                          on Sunday i took the vehicle to patwa automobiles and there they had a holiday. after waiting for two hours and shouting to go to court they told me no light is blinking at milo meter so every thing is fine we cant do anything till the computer says anything.
                          i told them that its a mechanical error and not a circuit fault that the computer will say but no use.

                          after two days again i went on tour and while coming back at 10 pm in night the front bumper broke and come under my car, i was at 80 miles /hr speed and suddenly it was a shock to me ., we just escaped from a deadly accident as we were driving on single lane and dumper was in front o[censored]s(my subordinate was with me)
                          we just missed death.
                          again after calling the sales staff they saw the bumper and told me that it will be replaced and you have to wait for few days,

                          after week of follow ups now they are asking 1500 rs to give me a fresh one

                          why??

                          this is made in india products and the quality delivered???
                          leave aside the sales and service part

                            I had booked XUV 500 through TVS Kochi on[protected].After going through the features described in the company brochure and sites like carwale and cardekho I opted W8 variant.The probable date of delivery written on the docket was[protected] and I had made full payment on[protected] and the invoice was generated on the sameday.On[protected] the sales executive Mr.Shuhaib informed me that Mahindra had made my payment in pending and I have to pay more as the W8 model is now coming with pushbutton start which was not there at the time of booking.After discussion I agreed to pay Rs.20000 more.On[protected] the vehicle was delivered and at the time of delivery the sales executive told me that the spare wheel is steel rim rather than Alloy as shown in the brochure at the time of booking.I fully agree that the owners manual show it as steel rim, but I booked the vehicle by seeing the brochure and I had to pay more for an extra feature which was not needed for me.Hence please be kind enough to provide me with an Alloy spare wheel or else refund the extra 20000 paid by me.

                            On[protected] Mr Sreejith from TVS Kochi contacted me over telephone and enquired regarding my compalint.He told me that the information about spare wheel as Alloy in various sites is wrong.However in your brochure it is mentioned that for W8 and W10 the wheel is Alloy and for other models steel rim and no special mention regarding spare wheel which automatically says that all 5 wheels are same in a particular model.Also on the day of delivery the executive specifically mentioned that the spare wheel is steel rim which will be an unnecessary explanation if the matter was already known.Also Mr.Sreejith told me that the price hike was effective form[protected] onwards.On[protected] I got information regarding the transit details of my vehicle in which it is written that the billing date is[protected].Hence I feel gross injustice and break of gentlemens agreement has happened in charging Rs 20000 more from me.Hence I humbly request me to provide a spare Alloy wheel and refund Rs 20000 to fulfill the justice.

                            Further to my update on[protected], three persons from TVS Kochi met me today evening.They passified me and I could convince them that the brochure printed by Mahindra shows Alloy wheel for W8 and W10 and no special mention regarding spare wheel as steel rim.Talking to them I could feel that they will be scapegoats if I go forward with the problem.I dont want to trouble the dealer in anyway.Rather what I want is to handle my complaint by some person belonging to Mahindra company and solve the issue amicably.

                            After posting my update on Nov 7th officials from TVS Kochi met me personally and told their stand regarding my complaint.Regarding the Alloy wheel they agreed that brochure showed the same as I had pointed.However they said that they are helpless in this issue as the brochure was printed by the Mahindra company, not by TVS.
                            Regarding the disparity between the bill date[protected] and the price hike date[protected] they have no clear cut answer.Sofar I expected somebody from Mahindra company will approach me and resolve my problem, but nothing happened sofar.I would like to know how long should I wait for this or should I make a legal move.

                              Dear concern,
                              I have got a mahindra kuv 100, earlier i was having problems with teh average of the car. somehow after great follow ups and complaints it got resolved to some extent, that too not 100%.
                              Unfortunately after that my car got hit and was send for insurance claim to your service station in noida. now it is annoying to wait for more than the promised delivery time period.
                              I feel like regretting every other day owning mahindra since i nought kuv 100 in some or the other manner. this time its the servicing issue.

                              Will mahindra give me the compensation of travelling in cabs till than or provide me with the backup vehicle against the same.

                              It is really frustrating and annoying.

                              Is there someone who can look into this issue, although i have already started spreading a ill feedback about the servicing and commitments among the peers.

                              Still if somebody can help, it would be a glad moment and provide me with my car.

                                This vehicle is currently registerd no kl-16-q-3090 purchased through dealer tv sundaram iyengar & sons, kaloor, kochi branch in jun 2016 is being used as a school bus. the vehicle was delivered with appollo mark tyres.
                                The vehicle has hardly put in 5000 kilometers and tyres have worn out with some of them having threads coming out. the matter has been brought to the notice of the dealer who directed to manufacturer who in tern directed to the tyre manufacturer. all of them have refused to own responsibility and payment of compensation or replacement of faulty tyres or fault in the vehicle

                                  I am 55 years chartered accountant who purchased your premium brand xuv 500, w8 model in june 2013. i work as cfo for us consulting firm based in gurgaon. ever since its purchase the car has been run by me. since i have other cars as well this car is used very sparingly normally when the whole family has to travel. last week when i was returning to my home i noticed that the clutch pedal was not returning to its normal position when pressed for changing gears; but i somehow managed to drive the car and reached home. from the next day, i was travelling and only today got some time to tow away my car for repairs to sri durga automobiles, kirti nagar, new delhi. the wokshop team told me that the clutch related parts need to be changed including clutch set, s. cylinder, brake oil and fly wheel which will cost about inr 50k including labor (which i anyway will be charged even if i finally decide not to go ahead with the repairs on their confirmation of final cost and parts to be changed). following are some of the points which make me repent my decision taken three years back of buying a feature packed which turned out to be a sub-standard product:
                                  • how come to the clutch of a premium brand wear out in just 34 k kms more especially when the car in driven only by me and that too very sparingly in cities like delhi and chandigarh?

                                  • why no signals were noticed that the clutch plates were wearing out and would need replacement when the car was sent for service in june 2016 to the same workshop and car had at that point of time run about 31k kms? since then the car has been run less than 3k kms. how can all of a sudden all the clutch related parts wear out and need replacement resulting in significant cost?

                                  • since i have been driving various cars for the last 20 years and have never faced similar issue in the past hence the argument of the workshop team that the excessive use of clutch while driving has damaged all clutch parts does not sound convincing.

                                  • what prompts the technical team at the work shop to conclude that all the clutch related parts need to be changed even before the thorough checking of the vehicle? more especially when i did not notice any issues with the clutch (until it suddenly went down last week) and no burning smell.

                                  • how as a customer i get comfort / assurance that all the clutch parts, as indicated by the workshop team, have actually been worn out need to be replaced? also please clarify what parts are covered in the two years extended warranty which i purchased in june 2016 on completion of three years’ warranty given by the manufacturer.

                                  Based on above facts it apparently that there is no justification for charging this cost to me and this appears to be manufacturing defect cost of which should be picked by the manufacturer of the car.
                                  An early response will be much appreciated.

                                    I am mithilesh. i was going to buy kuv100 from k. s. automobile aburoad. but there is unexpected emergency happen at my home. now few weeks i will not be able to buy this car. but mahindra car dealer mahendra singh saying that you must be take this car. he is forcing to buy and saying that he had allready made bill for this car on my name. please give me solution.

                                    Hi, I pay a parts by mistake not seeing a actual price when I saw a quote I realized I made a mistake I went back to dearlership to cancel they agree but thing they don't want to refund back my money

I am totally satisfied by my car.I love to drive it even I convey my friends to buy Scorpio. I love my car but whenever I see faded sticker on bonnet of my Scorpio than I really feel sad and disappointed. I feel too bad about my car. Image of my Scorpio is getting destroyed by faded sticker on bonnet.I feel bad and sad about my car. I feel cheated by mahindra. I have taken extended warranty too for my car. I love to drive my car but when I sit to drive and eyes go towards my bonnet than I really feel full of angry, cheated, sad bcoz I am emotionally attached with Scorpio even when I will replace my car definitely I will buy Scorpio again as I am attached with it and I will suggest my friends too to buy it.                                         Today only i went to the mahindra authorised service centre in Howrah named supreme motors.There one of the service adviser personnel gave a false statement that my car's wiper water was stored & he charged an amount of Rs-244 plus VAT. But in reality when i checked the thing i found the tank of water was leaked & neither water nor chemical found into the tank as the tank was leaked. But the personnel named mr.ashis kumar gupta gave me the false statement that everything hasbeen done. When i protest into that matter & want the feedback, the service manager of that particular service centre gave me the clearvision bottle loose & can not give me the assurance of incompleted work's completion. Beside this the washing & cleaning of the car is worst in its standard. So in this regards i m highly dissatisfied & i m planning to lodge a complaint to the consumer forum for harrasment & compensation, if reply is not come to me within THREE WORKING DAYS.
