We have purchased Mahindra XYLO D4 on 24th Jan 2014, from Authorized dealer

Jitendra Motors Pvt Ltd, Nashik. I would like to share rather complaint about new purchased XYLO Regd. No is MH-15-EB –4201.

On 11th Feb 2014 Our Driver (Mr.Sanjay Gharte 18 Years Military Driver Expen) took XYLO to Mumbai along with our Co’s Director + 2 Sr.Magaer to visit at HO Mumbai.
On- the way near Chambur area Driver and our Sr.Manger have notice smoke is coming out, everybody got panicky,
Driver has opened bonnet and notice found rubber burning smell,
Rubber bush cracked in pieces, Rubber bush pieces found very hard, also found oil leakage, Driver manage to call mechanic
he has temporarily fitted new bush to stop oil leakage.(Rs.2000/-) Clutch was hard to operate. Somehow Driver manage to bring XYLO back to Nashik.
As a customer there are few questions. we want answer from your Quality-Head / Customer care.

1] After date of purchasing within 17 days how the clutch problem suddenly came out within 17 days. Is the quality of Mahindra Clutch Plate is sub-standard ?.

2] When we have send this XYLO to Show Room Milage was 2284, why they have not given any technical survey report and also blamed that it is Deriver Mistake why it is so?

3] When I informed to Nashik Dealer about break down incident he could manage to send any technician from Mumbai. Why so ?

4] This break down incident also informed to Mhindra Help line [protected] Mr.Imran & Vivek, They have register the complaint but no feedback about what action the have initiated as on ?

5] Show Room has charged Rs.9719/- for replacing new clutch plate ?


6] Also VIP Industries Ltd. Nashik plant Director reached late in Board of directors meeting. This was very disgusting part.

7] Who will bear this damage cost ? and great agony to our Director ?

    its really fraud,
    I Discusses with that person Mr.Atul Joshi, as per his information, I deposit Rs.13500, to Mr.Rajesh Kumar, A/C No [protected], State Bank Of India, On 2nd Jan 2014, as per his information I have to send the scan copy of deposited slip to this email id, [protected]@mahindrahr.in, [protected]@gmail.com,
    He also conformed the Deposiding that amount by mail, like this on Fri On Fri 3 Jan, ( As per discussed we have got the approval regarding security deposit and you are going to receive your documents before two days of interview).
    But still I didn’t received any mail regarding Interview Process, I try to contact that no, but still he didn’t attend my call, I try to communicate by mail also but I received failure notice only, so kindly help to me,

      XUV 500, a Premium Car by Car maker MAHINDRA, CATCHES FIRE . Thanks god there is no loss of life as the car caught while parked outside the house. Fire took place one month ago .Since then we are following up with the Company to find the reasons of fire along with the detailed Technical Inspection Report, about which i am not being unreasonable as a customer. The Company says the reason of the fire was external but if so, why they are so hesitant to provide the Report. The reasons is obvious, i.e. technical faults. So pease help us in the matter.

        Sub: Gross Deficiency in Service It is submitted that I purchased a Mahindra Quanto C-2 (Delivered on 14th June 2013) from Sri Durga Automobiles (Rajapuri, Opp. Sector 5, Dwarka, New Delhi) as Customer ID No C14A712595. I consider myself to be unfortunate and believe to have made a wrong decision by going for this car from Mahindra. Even after investing around 7 Lakhs of my hard-earned money, all I got is utmost mental, physical and financial harassment right from the Day 1. The ordeal started on the Day of the delivery (14th June 2013) itself when the rear door did not close after I opened it to let my family in. I, with family, had to rush back to the showroom (Sri Durga Automobiles) to get it put in place. I was being shooed away on pretext of it being too late. I pleaded for the security of my new car but to no avail. The door was repaired only after I proposed to stage ‘anshan’ in front of the showroom. After facing continuous problems, I sent back the vehicle to the Sri Durga Automobiles on 19th June 2013 with a letter stating 9 (nine) issues which my brand new car, delivered 5 (five) days back, was facing. Everything from remote entry to cabin lights to Gear to Clutch to Wipers was in a mess. I can convincingly state that Sri Durga staff was interested only in selling CHEAP & OVER PRICED ACCESSORIES, and not interested at all in providing a trouble free vehicle. After driving 1218 KMs, on 8th July 2013 (that is less that after a month o delivery of new car), I was left with no option but to send the car back for repairs to Bhasin Motors, Moti Nagar, New Delhi. Clutch was not smooth as expected in a new car, AC System was faulty, Diesel Tank Lid did not close, front left gate was touching, etc. Surprisingly the rubber pad of the clutch pad was worn out in a supposedly brand new car ! On 29th July 2013, I again had to send the car to Bhasin Motors, Moti Nagar, New Delhi as the work carried out on 8th July 2013 was not satisfactory. I again requested for setting the clutch right & get the engine tuned and the issue of car being tilted on to a side. Nothing significant was done even on 29th July 2013 but then I couldn’t afford to send the car for repair every other day and my professional commitments too didn’t permit me to do so but not being able to take the pain of driving a faulty vehicle, I sent the car back to the Bhasin Motors on 1st November 2013 with almost the same complaints that remained unresolved on prior two occasions. Even after repeated complaints and sending the car for repair, nothing much came to my rescue. Around the same time, the person cleaning my car left his work, and I realized that the car has been giving black smoke, the marks of which use to be cleaned every day by the cleaner. Being an environmental sensitive person, I immediately sent the car to the Sri Durga Automobiles for rectification where the attendants gave me an estimation of about Rs 8, 500/- (Eight thousand Five hundred) instead of focusing on the main issue of controlling the smoke. After a bit of arguments and all, I was told that the issue has been resolved. This work was carried out against Repair Order Number RO 14A018407. But ALAS ! The Car continues to emit black smoke, and the mileage continues to be abysmally Low. I escalated my complaint to higher authorities, even tagging Mr Anand Mahindra at his Twitter Account, and posting on their facebook page, nothing was done. They asked me for my contact detail (which were already there with them), I provided them the same, but no one contacted me to help me resolve the issue. There arise many serious issues from the above mentioned facts, summarized below: 1) How can the door of a new car stop closing on the very first day? Was the vehicle not checked before delivery? What would have happened in case the door opened mid-way and any of my family members suffered injury? 2) Within 5 days of delivery, I faced numerous problems mentioned in the letter at Annexure I. 3) The AC took air from outside environment even when set to circulate the inner air. 4) The diesel tank lid did not close and had to be temporarily fixed. Later on, it started getting jammed. 5) The engine of this brand new car was not tuned. It still is not! The car continues to emit BLACK SMOKE, and gives a very low mileage. 6) In a nutshell, I have faced almost every issue which a car user can. Relief Sought: 1) Initiate immediate action against the service centres, dealers and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd for causing me undue mental, physical and financial harassment. 2) Get the complaints rectified and the vehicle re-tested by experts from the manufacturer (not from the service centres). I doubt if the car delivered to me was taken through the Quality Assurance test and whether it is actually a new car. 3) Appropriately compensate me for all the inconvenience I have been going through for the past 6 (six) months. Kindly do the needful at the earliest possible to my immediate relief. Looking forward to your prompt action.           I m vasant Shetty purchased Car mahindra Xylo D4 from Global Gallaries (Authorised Dealer)- Thane on 21st may 2012. My Car No.MH04FF4893. after 2-3 Months some problems arise in cluch & Break . many complaints after some times they give car after repair & said car is ok. but once again same problem while driving suddenly car stops on middle of road and also problems in cluch and break for this i complaints to Miracle motors 9autorised dealers for mahindra i dont know whqat they repaired also non cooperation services.if this happen on road on any where who is responsible for loose of life or any accidents.

          please let me know ur suggestions on this matter.

            It is very unfortunate that a company like Mahindra & Mahindra is cheating the public by adjusting the speedometer and odometer to show more Mileage. I used to realize a 10% to 15% increase in the reading of the speedometer when compared to my GPS navigator in my 2012 Verito. I initially thought it was an error of the GPS navigator. But recently I hired a New Verito taxi to go to the airport and I found that the Odometer of the Taxi showed a difference of 13% in the distance from my home to the airport. (I do this route once a week) So I started investigating into the matter and many tests later and also after leaving a margin for error I find both the speedometer and odometer shows 10% higher reading. To make it simple to understand when my car is moving at 40 KM/HR the reading on the speedometer of the Mahindra & Mahindra verito shows 53KM/HR. So if the car is showing a mileage of 20 KM/L the actual mileage is only 18KM/L And most of all every day thousands of people who hire Mahindra & Mahindra Verito Taxi are being charged for distances that they actually did not travel. Isn’t this cheating in broad daylight, The intention of Mahindra & Mahindra would have been to advertise higher mileage, but doing this by giving false information is a bad practice. I did take the car to the Mahindra & Mahindra showroom in my hometown Trichur, They checked the car and agreed that there is a difference when compared to other vehicles made by Mahindra & Mahindra like Bolero etc, but when compared to other Veritos the difference is insignificant. This clearly states that the speedometer of verito is made to show more mileage.

              We purchased a Mahindra Xylo E8 8STR vehicle in 2009. Our vehicle chassis number is 19403 and engine number is BV94J57720. It is a family car and is single person driven. The vehicle has done around 62, 000 Kms so far. We are having regular problems in our Mahindra Xylo vehicle. We have been regularly incurring lot of expenses for the repairs. Few recent examples are: Replacement of Clutch Plates in March’2012 which costed us around Rs. 9, 000/- Then in May’2013 we had to replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump which costed us around Rs. 34, 000/-. Recently there was some problem in AC which again costed us around Rs. 8, 000/- to get repaired. We had been accommodating these expenses believing we had selected this vehicle and if our choice was wrong we need to bear the costs. But recently we found that the vehicle has started getting badly rusted and the left door and body over the rear tyres is developing some holes due to this severe rusting. When we have shown the problem to the Mahindra Authorised dealer he says this is not covered under Warranty and has to be paid for repair. It is going to cost again over Rs.30, 000/- for the same. When we ask them why this sever rusting has taken place, they have no answer. Mahindra has used poor quality sheet material or compromised on the finishing. This may be causing the rusting. Why do we need to pay for Quality problems in Mahindra process. Parts failing and needing replacement is understandable to some extent. But the vehicle body getting rusted and developing holes is unbelievable and unacceptable. It is a clear sign of poor quality of materials / process used by Mahindra.

                Mr.Anand Mahindra, Im writing second time here that I have puchased a Mahindra Quanto C-6 model in the month of Mar'13, from the very first month i am complaining that there is a major problem of AC filter choke is there in the product, your service center people are also addmiting the same, they have changed the ECM (Hardware) of 3 cylender but the problem is still there.Now instead of 15 days A filter is getting choked in 7 days.In last 1 month i have dropped my vehicle for 4 days in worshop for thorow check but there is no resolution because the product is defective. I want to ask from the company that i have invested 8 Lac INR in this product which is defected, why company is doing RND with costumer money, rather you can check before launch.If a customer trusts your brand and buy your product blindly then Is it a customer fault. I have a best experience with Hyundai & Maruti with my previous cars but sorry to say that my first experience with mahindra is really not good. Every week i used to go to your center for any kind of resolution but unfortunately they are also tired of doing so. When my car will become old then you will say that its a old product you have to pay to get it resolved.There is something called after sales service, do u think so ?? Please do me a favour by returning this bogus product which your sales person missold me.                     Hi, I bought Quanto C6 around 6 month back.On October 4rth i dropped my car at mahindra service station (Kundan motors, Ramnagar pune) for denting and painting. After 8 days i got my car back but i found my Caska navigation SD card is missing from navigator.Tha card only cost me 6500 bugs as it is having licensed map my india application. When i called back to supervisor (Bimashankar and Matin [protected]) i got no positive response from them. After servicing I have send my vehicle to the agency for fixing some new problems. Problem is fixed but they are charging Rs.2000 under the head of LOC-EOH Wiring Job.                         I am an owner of Xylo KA-03-ML-8575 and has been servicing the vehicle for the past many years with Chrome Motors Bangalore. One of the worst experience, I ever had with the service centre. Not only they charge exhorbitantly each time you go for service, their quality too is faulty with 2 rounds of visits for every repair. A week back servicing done for my vehicle developed serious issues on a long journey with no pick up. Some survived to come back home with such a serious issue.                         Dear Mr. Karkera

                        I think there is a manufacturing defect in your car otherwise the same issue would not have occurred after servicing the car so many times.

                        Report this to the Mahindra authority and send them and the service centre a formal letter seeking adequate relief on this issue. If they don't revert then file a consumer case against them on account of deficiency in services under Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

                          I have made repeated complaints regarding malfunctioning of Abs (anti braking system) and reverse sensors. Made repeated visits to wazirpur delhi service center for the same. Every time time I am told that concerned part is faulty and would need replacement. They take 10 to 15 days to arrange the same but my problem still persists. 3 visits for same problem has resulted in great agony and tested my patience, specially when my car is under warranty and the complaint is related to vital part which is brakes. No one would want to take a chance with that. My complaints have fallen on deaf ears and unconcerned service advisors. Post sale service is definitely worst as compared to other car manufacturer's.

                            Gear of my mahindra xylo vibrate on its high while standing and as it start moving vibration get low. In regard to my complaint I have gone to authorised mahindra dealer situated in rohtak.they had changed the two injector but the problem is it on same situation. They don't take any responsiblity to do it correct it. They had taken my car for one weak on beyond to this the problem is at is.

                              It is brought to your kind notice that I have purchased mahindra quanto c6 model from 2 nd month of purchasing vehicle there was a problem of tyres firstly my one tyre gets cuts and after 5 months my 3 tyres gets cut there was no action taken by company
                              After 15000kms the gear problem gets started two times I get the problem of gear first on 21 st aug and another on 2 nd sep and also in these car there is a major pronlem of air conditioner filter choke is there in the product again and again

                                I have puchased a Mahindra Quanto C-6 model in the month of Mar'13,from the very first month i am complaining that there is a major problem of AC filter choke is there in the product,your service center people are also addmiting the same but since last 3 months they are saying that we are receiving so much complaints from other customers also ,company is working on it but till date i have not recieved any satisfactory answer or action.
                                I have also visited your both the service stations twice but always they clean the filter and say company is working on it.

                                I want to ask from the company that i have invested 8 Lac INR in this product which is defected,company is doing RND on it,Is it customer fault
                                When my car will become old then you will say that its a old product you have to pay to get it resolved.There is something called after sales service,do u think so ??
                                I want this issue resolved on immediate basis,else please do me a favour by returning this bogus product which you have missold me.

                                  The whole story:
                                  I am writing you this detailed mail as am a little disturbed and feeling hurt because of the deal (XUV 500).I want to give you a over view of the entire conversation which took place between us from the day one.i.e. june the 2nd,2013.
                                  I spoke to Aditya and test drove the car on the same day (Sunday) bearing registration no HR 51AP 3434.During the test drive I insisted to know about any problem related to the XUV500-W8.On my insistence and cross checking with Aditya & Sushil Chawla (Manager – Mahindra First Choice) quite a number of times about the condition of the car, he kept repeating that its in a very good condition and I should buy it ASAP. He said the owner of the car is known to him personally and so did the vehicle. It is because of an exchange which the owner did, that he is selling the car of this good condition and is non accidental.
                                  He said we at MAHINDRA FIRST CHOICE / SRI DURGA AUTOMOBILES only buy NON ACCIDENTAL vehicles in good condition. So there is no question of getting hassled about the quality and condition of the vehicle. He advised me to go for the deal as m dealing with Mahindra First Choice and nothing else, He suggested me to go for the deal without a thought because of the brand MAHINDRA.
                                  It was because of this trust that I was prompt to decide on the car on the same evening when approached by Aditya & Sushil Chawla (at MAHINDRA FIRST CHOICE / SRI DURGA AUTOMOBILES) which got finalized at 9lacs and 48 thousand Indian rupees including the registration/transfer charges.
                                  On the 3rd of June I paid 50 thousand rupees as the advance money to you (Sri Durga Automobiles) against bearing registration no HR 51AP 3434.
                                  I got the relevant documents of the XUV after the payment including the registration certificate, NOC, insurance and Form 35 signed by Sri Kadam Singh. After Speaking to Mr. KADAM SINGH to cross check the details he agreed that the vehicle is accidental .On knowing this I crossed checked it with the insurance agency .i.e. RELIANCE. And they told me that the claim has been settled on 1st February 2013 for 83 thousand rupees against the same vehicle bearing registration no HR 51AP 3434 which was involved in a accident.                                   When I tried to investigate the vehicle service details further through Mahindra and Mahindra’s service track record for vehicle bearing registration no HR 51AP 3434, I further got to know that the record is clean with no problems but to my shock the factual details has got great discrepancy and the nexus to do so between Sri Durga Automobiles and Mahindra and Mahindra was evident. Both the parties Sri Durga Automobiles cheated me hence leading to the fraud.

                                  To my further surprise I am Awe stuck to know that Sri Durga Automobiles owned and managed by Mr. Ashish Singhania was also involved in cheating customers at SAI AUTOMOBILES with a SKODA dealership and lost the dealership against similar kind of forgery and fraud. He lost his dealership but is repeating the deeds at Sri Durga Automobiles as a Mahindra and Mahindra dealer.

                                      I am from Nashik-Maharashtra and I made big mistake by purchasing Mahendra Rodeo, about 3 years back. At that time this was the costliest scooter available in market and I bought seeing the price that price is high, so quality would be high. My friend suggested me not to buy this and go for market leaders Activa / Access / Pleasure

                                      People burns hands in something, but I burnt fully myself by purchasing Mahendra & Mahendra Rodeo Scooter. It has been around 3 years I purchased it, but till date it has not even made my single day happy.

                                      Today the dealer from whom I purchased it, is not selling this company scooter.

                                      I never got average above 25 in this scooter. Consulted minimum 15-20 times to company workshop but no improvement.

                                      In Rodeo, there is digital meter. Now that has spoiled. I contacted few garage owners here, but nobody is ready to touch any Mahendra Scooters / Bikes. Even garage owners are alergic to it.

                                      After lot of trouble, I contacted 1 garage owner ( Mahendra's Authorized Workshop ) . He told me this thing is not repairable and lots of other Rodeo owners are having same problem. He said if I want to replace it with new one, then he can get parts from company and parts will cost me +4000 plus his fees to change it.

                                      Today I am in such an awkward position, that I am not able to see how much petrol I have in it, what the average it gives, as digital meter is not working. My wife has to always carry 1 petrol bottle in scooter, because she never know when its petrol will finish.

                                      I contacted lots of second hand bike buyers / sellers, but nobody is ready to purchase it at any cost, or nobody is ready to exchange it at any cost.

                                      I am in really big trouble. There is nobody from company to take care / ZEROOOOOO after sales service.

                                      I suggest you not to take any of the Mahendra Scooter / Bike. You will never know when company will be out of business and there would be no one for you to take care of.

I asked the dealer to resolve my issue or provide me the resolution for the stated problem, however, the dealer hardly bother regarding my concern. I have visited the dealer;s place for so many times, but, all in vain. Is this the customer service that esteemed Mahindra is providing to the customers.

                                        May i request you people to resolve my issue, as i have spent ample of money in purchasing of Mahindra vehicle.

                                        Moreover, i request you to please provide the escalation matrix of customer service so that i can escalate the matter in order to get the resolution.

                                        myself is Daljeet singh and i live in O-11 Aruna Nagar,Majnu ka Tilla Delhi 110054. my gali seaver is almost full for a two monts. i complaint many time to water works employess but they said everry time you go we will come. some time they said "Sever bhar gai hai to hum kya kare jao jaha jana cahte to jao hum kuch nahi kar sakte" sir we are very upset these types of govenment workers. our toilet almost full for month or more.
