I purchased Mahindra Xylo D4 on 23/10/2012 from Ralas Motors, Raipur (C.G) with great expectation. I was very impressed with new revived and refreshed Xylo as it also suited my frequent traveling schedule.

But to my utter disappointment I started experiencing rigorous engine vibration just after one and half months of my purchase of vehicle. Next I reported this to the Dealer on 08/12/12, I got my vehicle back on 10/12/12 with report from Service Manager (Mr.Sharma) that if vehicle gave same problem again they will replace Fuel Injector (Report Attached). Again I faced same problem on 11/04/13 and I reported same to Dealer this time they replaced two Fuel Injectors and returned my vehicle after 8 days on 18/04/2013 (Report Attached). After driving for few kms I again faced problem of rigorous engine vibration and I reported and dropped my vehicle to Dealer again on 24/04/2013, I got my vehicle back on 26/04/2013 with two more Fuel Injectors replaced and a promise that I won't face this problem again (Report Attached). 29/04/2013 I again faced same problem to which Dealer identified filter problem and replaced fuel filter and gave my vehicle on 01/05/2013 (Report Attached). On 02/05/2013 I faced same engine vibration and ignition problem now my vehicle is lying with Dealer.

I have tried reaching Mahindra's Customer Care at toll free no.[protected] but every time customer care executive promised somebody will call me back and I am yet to here from your end regarding this. Also I tried speaking to Regional Service Manager - Mr.Niraj Mishra but in vain.

As I am completely dependent on my vehicle for my profession and I have to travel 250kms every day to my farm because of this persistent problem with Xylo, I have to hire vehicle for my work and I am paying Rs.2500/- on daily basis.

Buying Xylo has become my worst nightmare and pain.

I have faced since I have bought Xylo. I insist on recalling this vehicle of mine and providing with New Xylo.

    I have been an unfortunate owner of a Mahindra Xylo. I bought my Xylo in 2009 and it has been self driven. Considering Mahindra has such good advertisements, i went for an indian make car. Day 1 trouble started. There was black smoke problem in the first month itself, then in a year's time the brakes started screeching. Then the back wiper motor stopped working, then the front wiper motor brokedoen. The bonet wire on its own broke. All this in the first 2 years of ownership. Since I was an owner of huyndai and my experience for 10 years was great and gradually i started realizing the diffrence and quality of Indian manufactured automobile products.

    So for personally for me i have decided never to buy or recommend any indian manufactured auto product. They look good only on day 1. Beyond that you have only regrets. So my suggestion readers is that never buy a Tata or a Mahindra product or any othe indian auto product,. They may look value for money at thie first instance but trust me cost of ownership makes you regret after that.

    BUY A TOYOTA OR A HYUNDIA OR ANY OTHER FOREIGN MANUFACTURED CAR BUT NOT INDIAN. This doesnt mean that i am not a swadeshi but trust for an automobile you dont want to take chance.

        Dear sir,
        I have a Mahindra xylo D2 purchased in December 2011. My car has only run about 10000 Kilometers. I was on my way to lonavala on 3rd february, 2013 at around 11.15 am and my cars clutch plate was completely broken as told to me later. I was stranded for 5 hours on the road trying to contact Mahindra road side assistance and customer care. It took me 2 hours just to get through to customer care executive. They assured me that they would be sending a representative from a dealer in panel (nearest to lonavala). I was not contacted by any dealer. The customer care representative also refused to give me the number of the panvel dealership. Also I tried contacting all the Pune dealership nos. provided in the Mahindra dealer contact book. I got response from none of the dealers and half the numbers no longer exist. After around 5 hours being stranded on the road, I had to finally approach a local garage and had to get the car repaired for which I had to pay RS. 7500.

        Who should I hold responsible for all the difficulties that I had to face. Is the customer care department just for the sake of assurance but does not actually work? How do you justify the fact that the clutch plate broke after just 10000 Kms. Is the company not liable once the company has sold off the car? Who will reimburse me the expenses that I paid for getting the car repaired? I am appalled by the way people at Mahindra and Mahindra are treating customers.

        The response has drastically let down my expectations with the company and would never advise anyone to buy a car from the company.

        Please help in the above matter

          My complaint number is JE18/0015 booked on March/2010. Till today Not answered.
          Content of complaint is as below,

          I have purchased Xylo E8+ from MPL automobile Agency (P) Ltd, Chennai.
          The vehile was delivered to me on Friday (19/3/2008) evening. I am fully
          satisfied with the dealer with their service.
          After delivery I have noticed that
          1. the delivered vehicle had run around 370KM while delivery.
          2. The right side back door gasket torned out.
          3. The inter cooler fins on the engine were damaged.
          4. Back door manual lock is not working.
          5. Back door child lock is not working.
          6. The back pumper has finger prints impressed in wet paint.
          7. Scratches in the back pumper.
          8. No plastic wrappers in front and back captain seats and some of the
          handles.
          9. We need to press the fuel lid cover while pressing the electric switch
          provided in driver seat to open fuel lid. It is not pop out while I press
          lid open switch. This is the case in manual open switch also.
          10. Dry mud in driver seat carpet. This is a summer, so, no reason for dry
          mud in a new car.
          11. Dry mud in under chassis in all four wheels.
          12. Scratches and muds in door plastic flashings provided at the bottom.
          All these are the defects I found in my visual test in next day light.
          Because of my belief on your quality, I did not checked the vehicle before
          delivery. But Now I feel that I could have checked the vehicle even though
          it is produced by a good manufacturer and its appointed dealer.
          Please advice me that what to do now. The showroom persons told me that the
          KMs run was most common in all Mahendra vehicles. Is it common to all your
          vehicles?
          Will you do test drives in factory on all vehicles or Will you deliver test
          droved vehicle to customers?
          Are you admitting your dealers to deliver their used cars to customers as a
          new one?
          This is my first buying experience in India from a India's number one
          diesel vehicle manufacturer. I had proud of buying a quality vehicle from a
          Good manufacturer. But after seeing the vehicle the impression I got is,
          just I bought a second hand car as a new car.

            Sir, I bought a new Mahindra Xylo 7 months back. After 10 days there was a minor accident happened due to the crossing of a dog. Vehile's bumber got damaged. I had taken to the service centre and claimed it and paid half money for the new bumper part. They took morethan to repair it and after my registration period I got it back with patch work and they didnt give the new bumber. I had to pay the fine for the late registration in the RTO. After a few days around 6.30 I was travelling with my family and suddenly vehicle got stopped and there was smoke from the bonet. I called to the help line of Mahindra several times and they didn't respond properly. Finally I got a mechanic from my native at 10pm and got repaired. After a few days oftenly engine wasn't get started. Then I took my vehicle to the service centre and informed the problem. They told that they had repaired. But it wasnt after some days they told that due to the fuel injection pumb that was happening and they changed the item. Its cost was more than 15000 INR. Later I understood that due to the cost of the item they didnt change it properly. That time I told them that I don't need this vehicle and take it back. They told that it's due to the mechanical problem and the vehicle is good. After that on last service time there was a mild unwanted sound from the Left front wheel and I told this to the technician. They told me that it's due to the disc break pad. Before 3 day I was driving and the same sound was increased and the vehicle went out of the road. I checked the tyre and it was hot and called the help line. It was around 11.30 and the mechanic reached there at 5.30 pm. They checked and told that the baring has gone. And right now they don't have the spair part and they told that it 'll take more than 10 days to get the spare. Actually I am really fed up with this vehicle sir. Please help me sir!!

              I have purchased a car named Verito of Mahindra & Mahindra co. from their dealer M/s. Silver Jubilee, Motors, Camp, Pune in 06 September 2012. At that time salesman Mr. Rahul & Sales Manager Mr. Bharat Bhong of Silver Jubileei assured me Rs. 10,000/- of exchange bonus. Hence I sold my old car Santro to Silver Jubileei Motor's agent Mr. Kamble. When I made full payment of new car that time Silver Jubileei Motors take total price of car. At that time Mr. Rahul & Mr. Bharat Bhong told me - We will pay your exchange bonus in a week by cheque.

              Till 07 December 2012 Silver Jubileei Motors NOT pay my exchange Bonus of Rs. 10000/-. Herewith I am requesting to you please take necessary action on Silver Jubileei Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra co. I want to get my exchange bonus as early as.

              Mahindra & mahindra — not receiving bills

              dear sir,
              since 1 months i have not recived my bills[[protected]] requesting to send all these bills and in future to my mail id and it is very urgent because i need to claim other wise money will go from my pocket .

              i am having a logan car. i got timing belt of engine changed at service centre which is supposed to be changedd on 70000 km.i got my car timimg belt broken on highway causing damage in my engine.it got broken within 950 km and within 1 month.now they are creating a bill of about RS130000.

                Since from the purchase date to till date 1 year crossed by 11 november 2012. but have faced many issues and a very bad service from the Silver Jubilee Showroom at given above address.

                Purchased Add - Silver Jubilee Motors Limited in Pimpri, Pune. Address - P-68,D-2 Block,Midc,Telco Chowk,Near Ksb Pump, Midc,Telco Chowk, Near Ksb Pump,Pimpri , Pune

                Problem - 1. Dynama Faulty, 2. Battery not charging, 3. middle right door vibrating while driving


                Above problems discuused with local silver jubilee showroom at KSB chowk, chinchwad but they always saying we will see next time and leaving to check the vehicle. Such type of service is very panic to the customers of Mahindra.

                Hope you will arrange some technicians to help me to sort out these issues. Or else i will sell the vehicle for such bad service reason.

                  I purchased Mahindra bolero in 2008. since its date of purchase I am facing problem of water penetration into the cabin. It has been repaired by Goel Motors Mohali 5 times but of no use as after every repair I faced same problem on rainy days. Filed a complaint in Honorable distt forum in Punjab. won case from there. Mahindra and Mahindra and Goel motors Mohali filed an appeal in Honorable state forum Chandigarh and astonishing fact I reveal here that lawyer from both the parties are not appearing in the court for last 1.5 years. It seems that motive of this bloody company is only to harass the customers and want them to run away.

                  First they failed to resolve my problem and now they want the case to linger on and want me to leave the ground in their favor.

                  Let me make clear to there holes who are only interested in harassing me. I will fight till the end.

                    since very first day taking delivery of Mahindra Quanto C-4 version fuel tank opener,indicator,micro hybrid and watch is not working properly & after making complaint the dealer of the company V.C MOTORS KANPUR opened the back side and dash board fully of my car and dash board was broken while opening and intimated me that the entire defect removed by the company dealer & the same complaint made over phone to your mumbai and luknow offices but after few day when ii was returning back from Delhi i.e. 0n[protected] near to sikhobad check light start blinking & the same moment we made complaint over phone to V.C.Motor kanpur & they told me to approach to mahindra dealer at ETAWAH after approaching to etawah dealer they did something & tell me regarding defect in the inter cooler/coolent & this all things can be verified by my customer I D .today it is seen that micro hybrid is not working again we approach to dealer.
                    Sir, we purchased the First car in kanpur city but sorry to inform you that inspite of my mental peace we are facing problems regularly It is therefore requested to change my car without any further delay

                        I bought Mahindra XYLO E4(MH14 CS 2332) in Dec 2009 , Company has fitted Parking sensor and integrated music system as available in E8 for which I have paid extra. I am writing this email just to bring to your notice that I am very disappointed with the service provided for Mahindra XYLO from a company authorized service center - Global Gallerie Motors Pvt. Ltd. Thane.

                        There are some issues in particular that I would like to elaborate:

                        I gave my car for servicing to Global Gallerie Motors Pvt. Ltd. Thane on 10/10/2012. I had interacted with Mr. Ankush Chitte from Global Gallerie for the servicing which firstly was disappointing. He was very rude and I didn’t expect such behavior from company authorized service provider.

                        He told me that they need to change Diesel Filter and the cost for it would be Rs. 2200/-. The Diesel filter had been changed in my previous service and I was charged Rs. 1517 /- in Sept 2011. So does this mean that there is a 50% increase in the price of Diesel Filter. Please let me know if I am wrong.

                        I informed them that I needed to replace the battery in XYLO, the MRP for EXIDE EXPRESS 65Amp battery which comes with the XYLO from Exide Dealers is Rs. 5700/-. The amount they told me they would charge for replacing the battery is around Rs. 7500- with bill and Rs. 6700/- without bill, which is way above the MRP. This is atrocious and appalling.

                        We give our cars in service station in case of repairs or for maintenance, but in my case my car was damaged during service. The parking sensor was working perfectly fine when the car handed over to the service station, but the day I went to take the delivery of the car the same stopped functioning. I bought this to their attention, they simply replied “They are not responsible for this”. So I went to ask Mr. Chitte, to which he was totally disinterested. He didn’t even have the courtesy to respond appropriately and was the least concerned. He even told me to repair it from the person who had fitted the parking sensor in the car, even after informing him many times that it is company fitted and that I paid extra for it at the time of purchase of the car. After repeated efforts I lost hope and dissatisfied I left with my XYLO.

                        Also after every service I receive a feedback call(which I think is a good practice) from the concerned official(who is not my service advisor), but this time after the service I received a call from Mr. Chitte himself and instead of inquiring about how the service was, he abruptly asked whether the car is working fine. My answer to that was a yes and before I could elaborate he disconnected the call which was unexpected. This leads me to think that he called deliberately so that I don’t give a terrible feedback.

                        This kind of behavior is irresponsible and rude and offensive, this is not what I expect from Mahindra. It is not a free service, I am paying for it and I expect some decency from these service providers and expect my car to be unharmed. Before giving my car to Global Gallerie, I used to send it to G-3 which is worse than Global Gallerie. I am not sure if I will ever be able to trust Mahindra’s service.

                        I have been an ardent fan of Mahindra, I had a Scorpio before this XYLO and I am in the process of buying an XUV. But these repeated episodes have made me rethink about my decision. We give our cars to company authorized service stations for we believe that they would take special care and show some concern to the buyers. But this attitude of Global Gallerie is shocking and inappropriate.

                        Being a buyer of Xylo E4, I believe I have my rights to make sure that the quality of the product which I purchased is the best to its value and is maintained at that. So please advice & guide me to conclude the matter amicably.

                        my self MR pratik arun patil, i have got mahindra scorpio m hawk in 31 DEC 2007, i was happy with my car but seddenly nowaday's it has the problem the car lose the pickup while driving and suddenly engine stopes and again start's.
                        i dont have any qwery's about the car but the service station ( GLOBAL GALARIE panvel ) had not found the fault since my car is in service station for 8 day's and now today also they have not found any fault so i am facing so many problem's without my car

                          I have a Mahindra Xylo car which i left at the service center for service on[protected].30 am and got it back on this day[protected] . The car's interior was good and fine when i left the car at the service station but when i went to get back the car from the service center i was shocked on seeing that the car's key open/lock button was damaged and when i looked inside the car's AC knob was broken. It was like my car was serviced by some 6th std school student. How it can be broken at the service station?? there they test my temper by telling that it was already broken.. I have the job sheet which says it was fine when i left the car for service. and also the car was filled with oil. i saw and felt oil everywhere inside the car right from the dash board to the seat . When i asked them for a replace of the key they said i have to order new and also pay for it. i mean how can i pay for what they broke??

                            We are Punjab based civil construction Businessman and having business in Punjab and Himachal Pardesh and since 1989 we have experienced may type of luxury car of Ford, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and at present we have Fista, Innova , Verna Fluidic. And on the basis of feature clamed by M&M for their XUV 5OO W8 we booked the vehicle and brought the car on 19.04.2012 from RAGA motor, Jalandhar, Punjab vide above ref. invoice No.
                            Till date the car run approximate 10,000 km’s and during every tour once we have toe the car for sending it to your authorised service station (History of the car maintenance/replacement of parts at your authorised service station is attached). Several of times on complaint to help line they send recovery van at our residence at Gurdaspur in Punjab to toe the car for sending it to the service station for maintenance work.
                            After full checkup on 22.09.2012 at raga motor, jalandhar I along with my family went to Kullu Manali in Himachal Pardesh approximately 350 Km for from residence and during journey suddenly the car main belt was broken in a hill turning point which may cause to major a accident and we are surprised that before the belt broken the sensors giving alert for low pressure of spare tyre which was absolutely wrong indication. And we call the help line at 1:30 pm and the service persons came to us at 10 pm even the service station was only 90 kms from us and we spend the time in a danger jungle with my family. And after replacement of the belt by your service persons after 60 kms of running the entire engine oil was drained and after filling the oil we visited to your Mandi service station and till date i.e.[protected] the car is at Mandi service station.

                            It is a very serious matter because in 10,000 kms of running the car started giving such type of major problems which may cause a heavy accident during driving then what we can expect from it in future. Because every time whenever we used this car for going to attend any business meeting or any family function we have to hire taxi as this car started problems in the way to the destination.

                            We are feeling very uncomfortable with this car due to its very poor performance and we decide to return this car to you with request to return our hard earn money.

                            Please reply us in seven days from the date of this letter otherwise we will call the media and also go to the Hornab’le Consumer court with this issue.

                              I have purchase new Scorpio from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in 28.07.2011
                              in this regard i would like to lodge complaint against manufacturer & dealer with respect to poor response for my vehicle servicing.

                              I am extremely sorry to say that my Scorpio was held at Bhurawala motors, Himmatnagar from past 15 days as I have given the same for servicing due to sudden vehicle breakdown. I did not get any positive response from the Bhurawala servicing team till date. Whenever I am visiting the servicing station, they say that the servicing will be completed in two days but even after 15 days also I am getting the same response from them and as per my knowledge they might have not diagnosed problem yet. As ours is a seasonal seed business, our filed activities severely impacted and incurring huge losses every day. At this point of time each day field activity is crucial for us otherwise seed quality will be ruined and cannot be compensated any further. to monitor our day to day field activities we are hiring [protected]@ Rs 1500/- per day.

                              In this juncture i am requesting pehredar team to look in to this issue & resolve the same.

                                This is to inform you that I have purchased your above cited vehicle Regn.No. TN69 AY 4905 – Engine No.D050261 – Chassis No.MAILSRFJHAZL18688 during November 2010, from your Agent, Kodai Automobiles, Tirunelvelli. Now everybody says that it is a failure model. If I would have known this earlier, I would have not purchased this.

                                Now the vehicle has not completed 2 years and has not run more than 46000 kms. But the present problem is that, it had Clutch Friction problem when my vehicle was running 35396 kms. So I took it to your Trichy Agent, Shiva Automobiles (P) Ltd on 12/04/2012. They attended to it by changing the clutch complete at the cost of Rs.12728/-. I made payment in full. Since then I was not satisfied with this. I find the same problem not rectified. Anyhow I managed for 5 months. Hesitating to take it again to your Trichy Agent, I surrendered my vehicle to your Tirunelvelli Agent on 29th August, 2012 at its mileage reading of 46063. Since the Trichy check-up it has not run more than 10,000 kms. Within a period of 6 months. Now your Tirunelvelli Agent has estimated the works @ Rs.31,000/-. They say that they have to change the Kit-Eng Flywheel and to change the clutch complete again. What is this? - Changing the clutch complete in every 10000 kms. Could not it be covered under warranty? Being failure model I request you to change everything into new free of charge, otherwise I will be caused into heavy loss and damage and I will be constrained to seek remedy through legal means.

                                I request you to give necessary instructions to your respective agent to attend to the needful free of cost early, since my vehicle is stationed in your service station at Tirunelvelli for the last 10 day. I request you to render justice. Conduct no.[protected]

                                  sir.from the very first day my Scorpio EX , PB 11 AZ 3009.is giving me problems,it stopped on the middle of road on the very first day after 32 km with no reason,they changed the piece after a hue and cry.then its dash board lid used to open without any reason,they repaired this after sixth visit,after few days there was creepy sound from the engine,then after keeping the car with them for four days they changed the water body,
                                  now on first service i told them to install an antenna for FM radio, they installed antenna without any wire attached to the stereo and the height is with nuts bolts from the junk.i took all the photographs of the whole episodic, when i noticed the water drops from the roof , i took it to the nearest mechanic and came to know about this blunder,when asked at raj vehicles pvt ltd,they asked me to take the refund.
                                  i purchased this car on 30 April 2012.kindly let me know what to do?

                                      delivery we came to know about 4(four) dent on top of the vehicle.

                                      Few days back, My Ten year old daughter was injured in side the vehicle at night. She told us here is a

                                      piece of glace. Next day we came to know more than hundred of glass pieces are in side of vehicle. We have collected

                                      glass pieces through vacuum cleaner, Colour of dash board look likes ( not like New Vehicle ).

                                      We doubt , dealer has delivered us accidented vehicle to us or most probably, previously it was with

                                      another person. Kindly see the matter directly because we do not have faith on dealer.

                                        I bought a brand new Mahindra Scorpio EX model on 8th August 2011. From the next day I was getting issues on the vehicle. My vehicle suddenly stops in the middle of the road and doesn’t move an inch. Over three times I had to bring the vehicle home with help of other vehicles. Two times I reported the complaint to my dealer and they get it rectified. On 14th of this month I was travelling with my family and suddenly the vehicle stopped. We escaped from a major accident.
                                        After buying a brand new Mahindra vehicle, I feel cheated by the company. I feel cheated as my expectations got thrashed and the company failed to deliver to normal expectations from such a prestigious brand. I have sustained mental harassment, financial losses and wastage of time. I feel like i have bought a second hand vehicle in pathetic condition. Now I want to get my vehicle replaced or money back with compensation for the mental torture I have gone through. I have decided to take the matter to consumer court if my vehicle is not replaced or refunded.
