Had the worst experience with mmt in my life or specially with 'luxury tours'.

1st day at arrival I wasn't provided with drivers number and also no mmt representatives were picking up my call, after waiting for an hour 1 called back and said that I arrived at terminal 3, and am supposed to go to terminal 2 coz my driver is waiting there. So I tool all my luggage and got to terminal 2 and driver went back to the city saying he was waiting at terminal 3 for me. So because of this miscommunication I had a bad start...so they got me a refund of 4k for the taxi I had to take to go to the hotel

6th day in marina bay sand my cell got switched off, so as per the time provided by the driver we reached 5 minutes early, but as he wasn't able to CONTACT us, he didn't even bother to look around for us and went away, so had to take a taxi again for the hotel (didn't get any refund for that)

7th day at sentosa Island: we weren't provided any details about the tokens and how to use them, (NO DETAILS WHATSOEVER)...After reaching there when they checked our tickets, the tokens were already used up and we were not able to get in, 1.5hrs passed by & as my wife and i were waiting outside in sun waiting for luxury tours to resolve the tickets issue.
We were bloody tired to enjoy any of the sentosa Island. (I NEED LUXURY TOUR TO PAY FOR THE DISCOMFORT CAUSED TO US!!)

Day 9: luxury tours guy arrived an hour late for the city Tour after I call him 3 times in break of 15mins, which normally I would have let go...but at day 6 six after marina bay sands, he didn't even bother to look for us even when we arrived on time, I thought I should get compensated for that too then.

OK so as I wanted to explore changi airport I requested mmt representative for early pickup arrangement. So they arranged the pickup at 1pm after talking to luxury tour guys (without any details provided), In this situation both the vendors didn't thought that I should be made aware of the time changed. Or at what time should I check out and be ready for the driver to be picked up..

So as our Tour started an hour late, my drop off time back to hotel was set at 1.30pm, the same Tour company's guy knowing I'm still on city tour called up said he is gonna pick us up at 1pm and to not be late and be Ready at the reception.

Me, while I'm unable to enjoy the city tour am busy explaining these ### that how I'm unable to reach at 1pm as I am having the city tour and reschedule the pickup. After they said they'll look into the matter, I checked out around 1.45pm and stupidly waited till 3pm to let them resolve the issue.
And what happens after that, mmt representative calls and says don't wait for them to resolve the issue and take the taxi AGAIN to the airport or I'll miss my flight. which she said I'll get a refund for, which I didn't...

So in conclusion:
*While I paid extra money for a private commute, I'm travelling most of the time in taxis...

*I'm waiting for a pre-booked Ticket because of missing tokens FOR 1.5HRS

*We after being on time were unable to spot the driver, he didn't bother to look around for 5 minutes for us and left. And somehow this is our problem, so I'm asking when he arrived an hour late on day 9, who's problem is that (I need compensation for that too)

*If luxury tours is planning the whole trip, isn't it their job when will the city tour start and drop back at the hotel timings. So how did they schedule the pickup for airport knowing our driver is running 1hr late.

THIS IS THE WORST EVER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, I'VE TRAVELLED A LOT. BUT THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE.
I DEMAND A REFUND

    Hi, I am sharing the screenshot for my problem.. I am being mentally harassed by Make My Trip company since last two months! Still no refund of any kind has been done even after informing me for refund! I am putting my problem in front of you with great hope, please intervene in this matter and solve my problem!! Thank you

      3x refund voucher fraud

      I used make my trip India to book a waiting ticket of train from prayagraj to Delhi. Which was obviously covered under trip guarantee which guarantee to refund you the 3x amount if the ticket did not gets confirmed.. as promised I get the refund amount when my ticket for cancelled automatically after the chart preparation because it was still wait listed. I got ticket amount in my bank but with the deduction of trip guarantee amount which...

      Booked flight for 3 passenger on 11th April 23 for Lucknow to Bengaluru for 6th May 2023 with PNR K1W6UE. Then rescheduled the flight to 27th May 2023 and splited the PNR from Indigo website for DHRITI-PNR-K1W6UE and for Khusbhoo Agarwal/Ritesh Kumar- PNR- IQ45QZ. Then subsequently cancelled the flight for all the 3 passengers due to unavoidable reason. For Dhriti PNR K1W6UE i received the refund. For 2 passengers with new PNR IQ45QZ, Indigo informed that they have refunded to MAke my Trip. When contacted Make My Trip, they registered concern on 11th May 2023 request ID[protected], request ID[protected] on 12th May 2023, request ID[protected] on 11th May 2023, request id[protected] on 15th May 2023. However, they are not refunding the amount and saying wait wait wait. Such an irresponsible act by MMT. When indigo has refunded my money 10 days before, then also they are not wiling to give back the same to me.

        I have booked a holiday package from MMT which includes flights, hotels, sightseeing, activities and transfers. I got a call from MMT and they asking to book the flights by own as Go-First flights are cancelled till 23rd May.

        I am surprised, even how they can say this to customer while my package already includes flights. I know this well that every company has the contigency plan to handle these situations and now it's MMT responsibilties to arrange the alternate flights. On the same time I don't have enogh funds. I am requesting MMT to either do the full refund Or arrange the alternate flights. Please help to get this issue resolve ASAP as my travel date is 21 May to 26 May.

          I booked a ticket at AC bus from Ranchi to Kolkata but AC is not working and after complaint to driver they just ignored and telling me that AC is working but i am in sweat right now i have completed the 30% of my journey.
          Now i have no option MMT should take action immediately because from next tym i will not prefer MMT if they will not respond me or take action immediately.

I tried to raise a complaint in make my trip app..but iam not able to do as the app is not supporting..anyone kindly help me getting back the amount..screenshots also attached of deductions.

              The Hosteller is possibly a fun place for youngsters visiting Lonavala but what I had to go through as a family person was totally unacceptable. Having read through the various online reviews that talk about kids enjoying their stay at the hosteller, I booked the deluxe quadruple room with a garden view (Booking ID: NH[protected]) and with the excitement of visiting Lonavala for the first time, landed at the hotel premises post noon with my family. To our dismay, we were denied check-in by the ‘caretaker’ Mr. Gaurav, stating that the hosteller rules prevent those of age < 18 from staying at the hotel – as was the case with one of my children. We were given the option to stay in a quadruple room (without any view) on the adjacent property named Krishna Farms but on the condition that we must make a fresh booking by paying Rs. 4000 separately since it was a totally different entity – though to note is that the ‘property manager’ for both the properties is Mr. Gaurav.

              Agreed that it was my mistake of not noting the above rule but why is it that Google reviews under ‘The Hosteller’ talk about kids enjoying their stay there and why is it that even MakeMyTrip (MMT) allows families with kids (under 12 years of age) to even make a booking at ‘The Hosteller’. Finding the above to be misleading (and being stranded on the road despite making the full payment of Rs. 4395 months back through MMT), I immediately tried reaching out to MMT, but Mr. Gaurav has in the meanwhile hurriedly collected Rs. 4000 from my wife for our new stay at ‘Krishna Farms’. Left without options, I checked with Mr. Gaurav multiple times that our stay at ‘The Hosteller’ would be canceled from their end so that I could follow up with MMT for a refund and the same was confirmed by Mr. Gaurav every time. However, given that the cancellation wasn’t reflected in the MMT site until night, I again tried reaching out to MMT and with Mr. Gaurav also being brought into the conference call, his words were totally contradicting to the false hopes that were given to me until then. Also, he wasn’t even available in person for us to talk and raise our concerns post that incident.

              To conclude, I would like to confirm again that I haven’t even visited the deluxe quadruple room that I booked at ‘The Hosteller’ through MMT, and that I stayed at another quadruple room at ‘Krishna Farms’ by paying separately. It would have been a genuine gesture if Mr. Gaurav would have allowed us to stay at “Krishna Farms” as a replacement for our “The Hosteller” booking (wherein rooms in both the properties were mostly vacant on the weekday that we visited). Also, why is it that my stay still shows under ‘completed’ & not ‘canceled’ at ‘The Hosteller’ and why is MMT asking me to review my stay there? Either way, I would hereby want to share my terrible experience (and hence a spoiled vacation) through this first-ever negative review of mine.

                Booked travel under with Makemytrip NOKIDDING offer where e-visa was given free on a day as a complementary service. It was confirmed by sales team that there will not be any tourist visa charges.
                Now when i asked about visa they are asking to pay to pay Visa charges and not keeping the commitment

                    We tried booking a hotel through MakeMyTrip. I did not log into MakeMyTrip while doing the transaction. My amount of Rs.89918 has been debited but the booking has failed. I used HDFC netbanking.

                      I booked a bus ticket from Chennai to Ankola through MakeMyTrip on a bus named SeaBird Tourist. The bus was supposed to start from Chennai on May 12th at 2.25 Pm. However, the operator cancelled the bus on the date of travel at 11.10am. This has caused great loss to me as I have booked hotel tickets and made other arrangements at my destination place.

                        We had booked 5 days & 6 Night trips to Ladakh in MMT with booking references -L[protected], NL[protected]. Our trip was planned from Delhi to Leh with all sightseeing & back to Delhi. We were supposed to be back to Delhi on 6th of May & on 5th of May we got to know our Go first flight got cancelled.

                        Sequence of Events:-
                        1) On 4th May - As per our travel plan, we were in Pangong & no network zone. The MMT Team was fully aware of that. However, they just contacted our not reachable numbers instead of reaching out to the drivers who could be easily contacted/traced, or even they could have contacted the hotel/cottages where we were put on.
                        2) On 5ht May on reaching Leh, after seeing the messages on whatsapp, we contacted MMT, but they did not provide any alternative plans.
                        3) Our travel plan included 6 ladies members & we were left stranded at Leh as there were no flights left between 5th May to 12th May to reach Delhi.
                        4) As per original plan, we had made our other bookings from Delhi to respective places. We had to cancel those flights resulting in a loss of around 45k overall.
                        5) After continuous reachout also, MMT does not help us in any way, rather their operations executives talk rudely to our members.
                        6) Finally, we extended our stay in Leh by one day by booking hotels on our own by paying 10k for 4 rooms.
                        7) Next day, we had to take a road drive from Leh to Kashmir which is via Kargil, a risky route where road & climatic conditions are really horrible.
                        8) Again from Srinagar we had to take a road drive to Jammu & finally stay put in a Jammu hotel for a night.
                        9) This road drive lasted for about 30 hours in a stretch & cost around 35k overall. The hotel stay at Jammu cost us around 6k.
                        10) From Jammu airport, we had to book flights to respective places, for which we had to pay around 20k per person, rounding to 1.6lakhs overall.

                        Please let us know if any of these harassment can be compensated in any means. Else, we have only one option to register a complaint in DGCA or any relevant authority and go public about this situation by using social media platforms & requesting friends not to use MMT for any travel bookings or any holiday packages.

                          I booked a flight from AbuDhabi to Toronto through Make my trip. When I arrived at the airport I was told that I needed to rebook as the ticket was invalid. I was forced to buy a different ticket. I would like to be refunded for my ticket and other additional charges that occurred due to it.                             Inspired by the constant adds, this year i decided to plan my holiday with you, after finalising the package when the payment came, i told them to split the amount into 2 so i can make payments with 2 cards as i did not av a limit with 1 card, i was advised to purchase gift cards so as to enable easier payments its been a week since then i cannot redeem the gift card and am been forced to select hotels which i do not want, have asked for refund but told it is not possible, if make my trip makes a customer buy gift cards which he does not want n then the money gets stuck it is a gross violation of a customers right to choose also am forcefully told to buy higher category of hotel which i don"t require
                            firstly i did not want to purchase the gift cards, i was induced by ur staff to purchase them in order to ease payment, when asking for refund they say its not possible
                            i would like u to refund my balance amount back to my credit card to resolve this issue amicably failing which i will have no choice but to go to the consumer service and social media with enough evidence of how you induce the customer to buy gift card and don t refund

                                We are not happy with the customer service.
                                We logged many queries with Make my Trip and also asked someone to call from complaints handling team, no one called so far.

                                Go First cancelled their flights so we are unable to fly. We were told to book our alternative flights and they will refund when/if Go First refunds. If we don't go we will loose all hotel and other activities money.

                                We wanted to know how much were flights tickets cost from the package..still no answer.

                                Also wanted Go First booking Id... still no answer.

                                We were told we must understand the situation as hotel will not refund if we don't go... why they can't explain the situation to the hotel? They should also understand the situation.

                                We can't book alternative flights as alternative flights seems to expensive.

                                Would you be able help?

                                  This is in regards of our booking id NL[protected] booked on 1st April 2023 Kashmir package worth Rs 2.28lac for 3 people from Mumbai. Which was a 6N/7D trip. We were very happy to book our 1st package trip on Makemytrip (MMT). Little did we know this was the start of a tornado in our lives.

                                  On 2nd may we got a call from MMT relationship manager informing us that Go first airline has gone bankrupt and now they won't be flying. We were completely shattered as to what will happen to our trip now ?? However since we had booked from MMT we were relaxed and at ease that our trip is in safe hands.

                                  Next on 3rd may we get a call from our relationship manager informing us that since our flight won't fly we will have to rebook ourself on a different airline by paying another 75k for flight. Which was a shocker as we had already paid our 1st installment of RS 23000 and now they are demanding extra 75000 over and above our package of 2.28lac.

                                  However we tried and convince our mmt relationship manager that since this was not our fault and it's beyond anyone's control can mmt book us on another flight within our promised package ?? To which she replied mmt will not take any responsibility and the only option is to either pay the balance amount or cancel the trip by paying 15k as penalty. We asked them as to why the deduction of 15k as it's not our fault and it's the airline which has got bankrupt so why penalise the passenger ??

                                  To this our relationship manager replied that MMT has paid the various vendors Rs.1000 amount as booking token in order to confirm our package. In reply to this we asked her to provide us the bifurcation of all the vendors they have paid. We also asked her for PNR no of the flight which they said they have booked for us. She replied in negative and told us blank NO she cannot share the details. When we told her to book us on an alternative flight within our cost for that too she said NO. When we resonated with her that since we are cancelling our trip due to flight error so kindly hold back the token paid to the airlines and refund the rest of the amount atleast and provide us the flight charges once they get the refund from the airline that too she did not agree.

                                  Now we could not cancel the trip as we will lose the entire money of 23k and if we take the trip we pay extra 75 to 80k over and above 2.28lac and even after that there was no confirmation for our trip whether there will be any more problem or not ??

                                  As days kept passing we kept requesting MMT for cancellation and initiating our refund. However all our requests fell on deaf ears. Our relationship manager did not even sympathise with us and all the time kept asking for balance payment. As she wanted us to pay the money come what may. All this while the MMT manager and her team mates kept pressuring us to release the next payment without giving us any confirmation for our trip.

                                  Our package had a date of 10th may 2023 that if we cancel on or before 10th may 2023 we will get 8k as refund after deducting 15k as penalty from the Rs23000 which we paid as 1st installment. We kept sending them mails from 9th may 2023 left right and centre to cancel our package and MMT relationship manager and her senior sonali only kept mailing us to write 'We want to cancel our trip' and do not write any of your problems or request for refund, only then we will accept your cancellation otherwise the entire money paid by you will be forfeited.

                                  We declined to write what they wanted us to write and told them to accept our mail as an official request for cancellation of our package. We did not wanted to cancel our trip but MMT did not leave any stone unturned and made sure we either cancel or pay up the balance amount. They even confirmed us over the phone that they had just blocked our package by paying 1000 to each vendor and not actually paid them the entire amount. So it was not difficult for MMT to deduct just the airline cost of 3k and refund the remaining amount as they deal with their vendors on a daily basis.

                                  Our trip has been cancelled finally by MMT but they have not issued us a refund. We want to alert everyone booking their holiday packages from MMT by looking at Alia and Ranveer singh but the reality is MMT does not care about its customers and only cares about the money that the customer has to go pay to MMT. In all this fiasco none of the employees of MMT ever sympathise with our situation all they cared about was their balance payment to be paid at the earliest. Not a single apology from any of their employees even after explaining them our situation a million times over the call. Our next step will be to file for a consumer complaint against MMT in order to get our full refund and compensation for the mental harrasment that MMT gave us. Instead of enjoying our Kashmir trip we are now made to run from pillar to post to get our refund. Avoid MMT at all cost unless u belong to a bigger goon family then MMT...

                                    I have booked a tour package with Makemytrip for Srinagar from Mumbai. booking ID - NL[protected]. GoAir flights are cancelled. I have received
                                    email from makemytrip today that book flight yourself. How will I book. I checked the prices it is around 50k for one person and 90-95k for 2 persons. Either issue a complete refund to my bank or arrange alternate flights as i don't have more funds left with me. booking ID NL[protected] It is urgent as the package is on 21st May that is next week. Needs to be resolved by tomorrow.

                                    Please help urgently. We are booking packages 2 months in advance for save money and if we are getting surprises like this then what we need to do here. Makemytrip please understand I have not booked only flight on your portal, I have booked complete package. If you can't arrange the flight then please cancel the booking and refund as this cancellation is not from my end.

                                    I am trying to reach make my trip customer care from afternoon. Dropped multiple emails but I have not received any reply from them.

                                      I booked a bus journey from Sagar to Jabalpur on march 30, 11:12 p.m. The money - Rs. 613 was deducted but the booking failed. I haven't received a refund yet. This is so shameful for such a big company like Makemytrip. There is no option to talk to their helpline, no real person only automated messages. Please help me get my money back. I did not receive any booking id so cannot complain in their application either. I am adding the gpay payment screenshot as proof.
