On 27 Dec 2024 has carried out a booking for a hotel stay in Mysore, Karnataka costing Rs 4107. The booking was unsuccessful and the company said that the amount will be refunded. Till date have not yet received the refund.

    I applied for france visa application assistance and my booking Id is NV8C[protected]. I connected with Prerna.[protected]@makemytrip.com and +[protected]
    64 is her given number. I even sent her all the required documents on her email id as she asked and tried contacting multiple times. Now its been more than 7 days but she is not responding to any email and not picking my calls this is not right way of treating customers. Please provide the solution or I will be compelled to visit head office with my problem.

      Hello,
      I booked bus tickets Shirdi to Hyderabad in MakemyTrip PNR: D9FJTFXK, Booking ID :NU[protected]
      I paid trip assurance too, i cancelled the ticket 6 hours before the bus starts.
      They intiated refund claim on 27th December by 3:28pm but Makemytrip
      didn't refund the trip amount yet.

      I need my money back

        Dear Sir/Ma'am.

        I have purchased flight ticket from COK to MUM for 3 Jan with PNR number U8CGJA from Makemytrip.
        I also have purchased free date change insurance for this flight booking with the ID MTMINFDF[protected].

        Now when I tried to prepone or postpone the booking, makemytrip is refusing to honor the agreement since the original Vistara flight was acquired by Air India and changed the flight number of aeroplane.

        I contacted Air India and they have confirmed that since insurance was purchased from Makemytrip, the date change penalty needs to be borne by Makemytrip.

        But Makemytrip is again asking me to pay penalty for date change.

        After multiple service requests it is not done. Tomorrow is flight scheduled date.

        Kindly help.

          My self-Nitin & I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Ahmedabad in Make my trip (Operator – National Travels). I received a message from the operator at 8:15am on[protected] before 30 minutes of boarding “Due to traffic in city your bus will be delayed by 4hours 30 minute”.
          I was waiting outside the office to get the update on bus and trying to reach on a phone no given in WhatsApp message of ticket, but there was no response by travels and operator. After that I am waiting at office 2hour, Office is still not open and no one picking my call that’s why I cancelled ticket at 10:27am. I received the message of make my trip you will get refund after verification within 3 days.
          I have booked other travel bus nearby called Jain travels. After cancellation I have seen my trip was completed which I never catch the bus of National travels which ticket was already cancelled by me, than how it is showing it the trip was completed. I raise concern to customer care (Sai, Shivani, Mandeep and others) and called on 15th, 17th and 23rd of Dec 2024. They told me that the operator of National travels is inform them that I catch bus and complete my trip on time, but as mentioned I had booked another ticket (Jain travels) and catch the other bus then how I complete the trip in national travel (Ticket was cancelled by me before trip). And trip was showing me complete How it is possible the trip ticket was cancelled, and they access to board me the bus in which I have never travelled?
          I have submitted the all the evidence to [protected]@makemytrip.com, but till date I never received any resolution and refund of amount. Customer care is informing me we are not able to refund amount because you have completed the trip as informed by the bus operator (National travels).
          Where I have to contact? Who can support me in this matter?

                I am writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the lack of accessible support options for my booking (reference No. NH[protected] ) with your organization.

                As a well-known and reputable company, I was quite surprised to find that there is no email address available to address any issues or queries related to my booking. Additionally, I was disappointed to discover that there is no phone number provided where I can speak directly with a customer service representative for assistance.

                Given the prominence of your organization, I expected a more seamless and accessible way to reach out for support, especially when dealing with bookings and potential issues. The absence of such communication channels has made it difficult for me to get the help I need, and I am left feeling quite dissatisfied with the level of customer service offered.

                Additionally, during the booking process, I was assured that the booking would offer free cancellation within a certain time frame. However, after completing the booking, I noticed that the terms had changed, and my booking was marked as non-refundable. This feels misleading, and I believe it is unfair to change the terms after a booking has been confirmed, especially when this information was clearly not communicated before payment.

                I kindly request that you look into this matter and provide me with a way to contact your customer support team for assistance. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

                  I am writing to report an issue with my bus booking through MakeMyTrip on 24th November 2024, with Orange Travels for a journey from Gooty to Vijayawada. The bus broke down within 45 kilometers of departure, and no alternative arrangement was provided by Orange Travels.

My ICICI Account was charged twice for Rs. 3, 843. It is duplicate charges by Make My Trip. ICICI sent me messages below for two payments of Rs. 3, 843 each from Make My Trip.                             I booked a ticket (PNR: A4U9PW) for travel from Jeddah to Hyderabad on October 3, 2024, with payment successfully completed on September 22, 2024.
                            However, when I checked the booking status on September 28, 2024, via the MakeMyTrip portal, I encountered a pop-up indicating "Unsuccessful Flight Booking." Due to this, I rebooked the same flight, resulting in a new PNR: F9HN5H, for which I successfully completed web check-in on the same day.
                            Following this, I submitted a reimbursement request for the duplicate booking, with status ID[protected], through the MakeMyTrip portal on September 28, 2024. As of October 4, 2024, the refund status reflects a partial amount of ₹3, 788, along with RRN number[protected], instead of the full payment.
                            I would like to emphasize that the duplicate booking was a direct result of the misleading payment status shown on your portal. I kindly request that you process the reimbursement for the duplicate ticket at your earliest convenience and ensure the full payment is refunded.
                            Additionally, I have encountered issues with the payment status indicating "Unsuccessful, " even after completing the trip. This misleading information can lead to confusion, as it did in my case. I urge you to address this issue to prevent further inconvenience to customers, as it may result in significant business losses.

                                I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against MakeMyTrip (MMT) for refusing to refund my booking amount despite the booking being affected by a natural disaster. I had booked a stay at the Hosteller in Almora, Uttarakhand, through MMT, but due to heavy landslides in Almora highway, all highways leading to Almora were blocked, making it impossible for me to reach the destination. It's even mentioned in all the news channels that all the highway connecting Almora is blocked on 14th September (i.e. 1 day prior to my Hostel Booking Date)..

                                Despite informing MakeMyTrip of the situation and requesting a cancellation and refund, they refused to honor my request, citing the absence of travel insurance. I would like to highlight that this situation falls under force majeure, as it was caused by a natural disaster beyond my control. As a responsible travel service provider, MakeMyTrip should take such circumstances into account and issue refunds accordingly.

                                Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention a similar case involving a friend of mine. They had booked a holiday package to Ukraine without travel insurance. However, due to the Russia-Ukraine war and flight cancellations, their travel agent refunded the entire amount, despite the lack of insurance. This highlights that exceptional circumstances like wars and natural disasters should be considered while processing refunds.

                                I believe that MakeMyTrip's refusal to refund in this case is not only unfair but also sets a concerning precedent for how customers are treated in cases of natural disasters. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that I receive the refund for my booking.

                                  Booked the ticket thro Make my trip website.Yolo bus i used to travel from dindigul to bangalore today .The bus breakdown took place at krishnagiri at 6:15 pm .We had asked by the bus staff to wait for alternate bus arangements (that too very late )which was coming from chennai but the arrangements not done as assured
                                  After 1 1/2 hrs we walked 1 km and took other bus in our own source and reached bangalore

                                    I refer to Booking ID NN2A9L3L[protected].

                                    On 22 Aug, I paid Rs. 5, 17, 864 via Netbanking for return tickets between Mumbai and London. The money was immediately deducted from my account, however the booking failed a few moments later and no flight ticket or PNR was generated.

                                    The failed booking has been acknowledged by MMT, and I was assured by their customer service reps that my refund had been auto-initiated and would be paid into my account in 24-48 hours. This estimate of course kept increasing, and a full week later I find myself with neither a ticket nor a refund.

                                    Similar to the experiences of other MMT customers on this site, the reps keep telling me to wait for my refund, and then to wait some more. They constantly claim on email that they were trying to call me--a claim I'm beginning to doubt as not even a missed call from them has ever registered on my phone.

                                    In response I've asked them to simply email me with their update, only to be met with utter silence from them. If they had no update, why were they allegedly trying to call me?

                                    Their behaviour has become very worrying and I'm panicking that my money has disappeared with no ticket in sight.

                                    If an MMT rep is reading this, please kindly get in touch with me. This is a sizeable sum and a full week later there has been no progress on the refund situation--a refund that is rightfully mine as the attempted booking failed at your end.

                                        I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the refund for my booking, which has not been processed despite several follow-ups via phone calls.

                                        I had made a booking through MakeMyTrip for a flight from Dubai to Jaipur (dated: 6-April-2024) and Jaipur to Sharjah (dated: 17-April-2024), out of which Jaipur to Sharjah (dated: 17-April-2024) flight was subsequently cancelled by airline.

                                        Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue by calling your customer service line, I have yet to receive any confirmation or timeline for the refund process. Each time I call, I am assured that the matter will be escalated, but unfortunately, there has been no progress.
                                        Given the delay and inconvenience caused, I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter. I expect transparency and promptness in resolving this issue.
