Hi team,

This is in regards to the booking that we have done, booking Id- NL[protected]. We have received a mail from the airlines stating that the flight is non operational and they are providing us an alternate option to chose from. We are not ok with the option provided and would like to cancel the booking.

We do not have the contact number of the person who has sent us this confirmation of the booking we have made through make my trip and have sent an email requesting for a call back which did not happen.

Request you to cancel the booking and provide us a complete refund as we would like to travel with comfort and cannot go ahead with the flight details the airlines has given us. This needs to be escalated as the cancellation policy doesn't support the changes made by the airlines and we have made the initial payment.

I had to literally call 50 times yesterday and have still not received any proper response from any of the agents from MMT on the issue raised.

This behaviour is forcing me to take an action and set a complaint at the consumer forum as you cannot cheat people like this by taking the complete amount that too for your mistakes and not refunding the amount even though when we want to cancel the trip 40 days in advance for valid reasons which were clearly discussed with Harshit Kumar Tiwari while the booking was done.

I need the refund status on this issue today if not you would see my reviews on MMT on all social media platforms and also on the consumer forum sight. Please stop testing our patience and do due diligence with this. Check the call recordings and then you would get to know everything. Learn to gain trust of the customer not to break their trust. And for God sake stop cheating people by taking cancellation charges for valid reasons and for your mistakes.

    Hi Team,

    Make my Trip has always been the option I have availed for all the bookings for my vacations and I have had a good experience with the same. But with Booking ID - NL[protected] for the trip that we have planned for Kashmir has been a nightmare. I am totally dissatisfied with the Relationship Manager who has done this booking on our behalf. (Harshit Kumar from Noida).

    Firstly, the booking was done on Feb 22nd and we clearly told Harshit about the expectations that we are looking for a direct flight from HYD to Srinagar and vice versa. The booking was done as per that only and we were ok to take the highest package. Harshit was not ok to even wait for a day and insisted us to take the package and make the initial payment, which was done.

    We received an email from the airlines stating that due to operational issues the direct flight has been cancelled and they were providing us with options to choose flights which had haults and stops which we are not comfortable with. The main intention to do the bookings through MMT is to ensure we have a hassle free vacation and this was not happening.

    Next, Mr Harshit Kumar made mistakes in booking the flight where there was mistake in the name spelt in the tickets.

    Now as the airlines have cancelled the flight, I look for a complete refund of the initial Rs. 49, 570 payment that was made as this is a pathetic experience.

    We have been trying to reach out to Harshit via emails and phone calls since two days and have not received a call back. We have also sent an email to [protected]@makemytrip.com and have called all possible numbers however we have not got any positive response or help from anyone.

    MMT has been a good travel provider, but such services and responses make the experience of the customer think twice to even think or recommend to anyone we personally know.

    I oblige you to refund me the complete amount at the earliest as we still have time for this travel date (April 15th) and cancellations should not be a problem to such a big company that too with valid reasons where our recommendations for the flight was not considered and also the tickets were booked with spelling mistakes by your travel agent / relationship Manager (Harshit Kumar). I did speak to Bhavana Sharma as well and she was also not able to help and said if we cancel 40, 000 wud be deducted from 50K amount paid. Are you all here to cheat people ??? This is pathetic, when we are giving u the details to cancel the trip almost 40 days in advance, you people are still saying that there would be cancellation charges of 40K which is unacceptable.

    If the refund is not issued then I would be left with no option rather than adding this testimony to all available social network platforms which I do not want to.

    Awaiting for your response on this at the earliest.

      Incident Date-21/02/2023

      Request for refund of 1085.40 Rupees

      I was booking railway ticket from chiplun to Panvel from make my trip after the payment was done through google pay the website dint book ticket & money was been debited.I call google pay & they informed me that transaction was successful & need to contact merchant.
      I dint find any transaction in my make my trip app where I can complain not even chatbot.
      when tried to contact the customer care number it never reaches to executive to talk.

      I kindly request through this complaint platform to take initiative & make them to have customer care number & representative to solve the issue & provide the email address on website for customer to reach.

        I'm writing this mail regarding my bus booking from Bilaspur to Varanasi on 5th of March(ticket attached), The bus was already 2.5 hours late to came at pick up location and When bus came at pick up location the conductor denying to board he said there is another bus which will come in 2-3 hours and i was waited and which was lie, Not any bus came after that I was trying to contact the given contact number but firstly he said that I'm looking into the matter but after some time I'm trying to contact him but he didn't picking up the phone. And I was also trying to contact Make my Trip customer care but they said click on SMS link which was worthless.
        I had experienced worst night of traveling experience.
        Need to resolve this issue as soon as possible the need my money back and also justification about misbehaviour of bus conductor as well as contact person.

          I booked hotel Hari piorko PAHARGANJ delhi from MMT. I went to nearest metro station but no cab, taxi, auto was not ready to drop me at hotel as it was at very unsafe location, it is in redlight area. I asked atleast 10 people outside metro station they all told me that it is very unsafe location and not good for normal people. I called hotel to cancel booking as I am not able to reach there, hotel person told me to ask MMT for refund. I reached out to MMT for refund but they are denying saying this is a non refundable booking. I am feeling like scammed by MMT and hotel.

          MakeMyTrip company has not refunded my money as I didn't checked-in, but they still marked this complaint as resolved. don't know why they are doing this. Company has scammed me completely in name of non refundable booking. Worst experience given by MakeMyTrip.

              I have a booking for Leh. Out of nowhere I got an email from the hotel that they are cancelling the booking as they are not open for those dates and contact MMT for change of hotel. I am trying to contact them by all the possible ways but their service sucks. They are are not responding to mails or tickets. I get calls from their executives and they say we will call you with a resolution in 2 hours and they never call back. I am trying to get in touch with them but it is waste.                 My booking id ending with 2231 and 6624. The return leg in this booking kaulalumpur to mum ai has been modified by the airline. I requested makemytrip to arrange for the refund of this leg only. They havent done anything
                My trip is due to commence.and I have to do my alternate booking. No assistance from makemytrip despite writing multiple emails and calling customer service

                  Hello sir/madam I have booked Senhor Angelo resort Goa through make my trip with booking id NH[protected]. Booking was from 21 jan 2023.Resort refused to allot room in midnight as manager told that he have not got any mail from make my trip. I called customer care and I was promised my refund of Rs 3800 and as a gesture told me to book another hotel for which I will be given reimbursement amount of Rs 6800.I have mailed all the bills and another hotel bill of Rs 6000 but it's more than 1 month I have not got any response from them.

                    I have locked the price of fligh which the company cancelled without any reason. Now the amount was not refunded. I had debited it from SBI debit card but when I am cheking the status it shows we will refund you in your Jammu and Kashmir Bank debit card

                      I have recently done a booking of flight through makemytrip, believe me this is the last time i m gonna book through them. I m in UAE and there is no option for the changing of flight through website? are u serious. Fine when we call toll free number, there is no option to proceed to talk to an assistant. How can somebody do the service when its required and left with no other choice to write this. I still cant believe this, i have even written an email to customercare but no response. Somebody needs to solve this matter.

                        Haven't recieved refund and its been over a month.
                        MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                        The refund was apparently initiated in January and the support ticket was closed and yet there has been no refund!

                            We booked a Kashmir trip for 6 days in Srinagar and Pahalgam. I booked it on 28th Jan for 26th March by paying 72, 000 as the booking amount. Now they are saying that we have to pay 70, 000 as they are rescheduling the flight or lose a day while I have to pay the whole cost. It's such pain and agony for all o[censored]s. We want to cancel and now they say the booking amount.

                              Today, I faced an issue with MMT airport cab, I booked the cab yesterday for my parents from my place to Bangalore airport. Cab driver's number company shared to us was not right and there was no way to contact driver and customer support to share our issue.

                              Driver arrived 15 min late and was heavily drunk and not in condition to drive. I have to ask driver to leave and I booked another cab for my parents. Still, there is no way for me to contact MMT customer care. Thisa is a serious safety issue on MMT's part. Please look into it seriously, I demand full refund of the trip.

                                Dear Make My Trip Team

                                This was the ugliest day of my life that I booked ticket through Make my Trip, please find complete details happened on 20th Feb'23.

                                I had booked ticket on 20th Feb at 1.34 Pm I have called Bus Operator in his mobile No. [protected] at 1.35 Pm and told him that mistakendly I have selected pickup point Sindhi Camp instead of Narayan Circle he told me, no need to worry about that we have pickup point at Narayan Circle you ensure to reach at Narayan Circle as per time, as per his guidelines I had reached in Narayan Circle at 10.15 PM . I have called at 10.17 Pm to the Bus Operator and infomed him that I have reached at Narayan Circle he advised me to talk to the Bus Driver (RJ 27 PC 0155) Driver informed me that he will not able to reach Narayan Circle before 2 Am (Boarding time is 11.15 PM) again I called Bus Operator in his mobile No.[protected] and requested him to kindly arrange my seat in some other bus because I have to reach at Delhi before 5 Am which he denied and advised me to book Bus from Narayan Circle and he assured me to return my ticket amount on 21st Feb, I put him pressure to return back my refund immediately which he completely denied .

                                I have lodged complaint in Make My Trip vide complaint No.[protected] &[protected] at 10.49 Pm on 20th Feb itself from Bus stop and request make my trip team to refund my money which is still not refunded by them, Even I tried to contact make my trip customer care vide phone no. [protected] but despite of my all efforts not able to contacted to anyone. I have again spoken with Bus Operator [protected] he started to threatened me that since you have lodged complaint in make my trip he will not refund my money and after that he switched off his mobile number [protected] (whole night he put it on switched off mode) then I have called driver of Bus No. RJ-27-PC-0155 at 12.27 AM again he said the same thing that he will not able to reach Narayan Circle before 2 Am driver suggested me to book ticket in another bus and assured that he will arrange to refund my ticket money on 21st Feb, because I had no other choice so booked sleeper seat in another Bus @ Rs.800 and informed the same to the Driver so he may allocate my seat to someone else and request him to make sure to return back my money by tomorrow. Next day ie 21st Feb I spoken with the Bus Operator & shocked when he said that he will not return my money because I had lodged complaint in make my trip.

                                Please note, this all happened in the mid night, we expected from MakeMyTrip will resolve such type of issue immediately, but I am sorry to inform that Make My Trip team have not solved my problem since last 5 days, it is very surprising and totally unprofessional attitude from make my trip team.

                                You are requested to kindly refund the ticket amount of Rs 797 with immediate effect.

                                  Hello Team,

                                  Please help me delete my MMT account. There is no way to delete it from app or website or by contacting customer support. This is high time MMT should have option in app/website or public facing support article with steps.

                                    मेरा केवीएस का एग्जाम 21 फरवरी को शिमला में होना था । इसलिए मैंने 19 फरवरी को सिटी लैंड ट्रैवल्स की दिल्ली से शिमला के लिए बस बुक की थी उन्होंने कहा था कि 20 फरवरी रात 11:45 पर वह हमें मुरथल पहलवान ढाबे से पिकअप करेंगे लेकिन हम 11:00 बजे से लेकर रात के 1:30 बजे तक ड्राइवर के पास कॉल करते रहे उन्होंने हमारी कॉल का कोई जवाब नहीं दिया और ना ही उसने खुद कोई कॉल किया और रात को जब 1:30 बजे सिटी लैंड ट्रैवल्स वालों ने कॉल उठाया और उन्होंने कहा कि हम कल दोपहर 12:00 तक आपका सारा रिफंड दे देंगे। बार-बार कॉल करने के बाद वह हमें आगे आगे का समय देते रहे इस दिन इस टाइम आप का रिफंड आएगा इस टाइम आएगा लेकिन आज 23 फरवरी तक हमारा रिफंड नहीं आया है। हम सारी रात मुरथल ढाबे पर बैठे रहे। हमारा मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से हरासमेंट हुआ और मेरी बहुत अच्छी तयारी थी लेकिन मैं अपना केवीएस का पेपर भी सिटी लैंड ट्रैवल्स वालों की बेकार सर्विस के कारण नहीं दे पाई।

                                      REG: VERY MUCH CONCERNED ABOUT ILLEGITIMATE DEDUCTIONS OF CANCELLATION CHARGES AND COMPLAINT THAT REGARDING.

                                      Hello Officer,

                                      I am very much concerned with these illegitimate refund deductions of Airline + MMT = 354 +649 = 1003, as I booked the ticket after looking to these flight details from YVR-YYZ (Air Canada) and YYZ-DEL and DEL-AMD (Air India), that baggage was initially before booking it was shown 1 piece 23 Kg Check-in-baggage + 7 Kg Carry-on in Air Canada and 8 Kg Carry-on in Air India. And, we completed payment & SHOCKINGLY when I received e-ticket for this booking, for check-in-baggage it was written *Contact MakeMyTrip support below to know about check-in baggage for this flight.

                                      After I login to makemytrip support, it was seen somewhere that there is NO Check-in luggage for this ticket, and THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON TO CANCEL THIS TICKET. How one can travel such a long journey without Check-in Baggage especially when someone to home country.

                                      IT WAS VERY SCARY to such, CONTRADICTORY.

                                      Due to that afraidness, I cancelled within 15 minutes of booking of this ticket. And you are charging cancellation charges of 1003 INR for cancellations within 24 hours. I travelled a lot to UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Germany, UK and Canada with good airlines. I learnt that most of the airlines don't charge any cancellation fee if you cancel the ticket with whatsoever the reason even if it is from the passanger.

                                      This was my first experience with MMT which was proved BAD EXPERIENCE and MUST be LAST, as I find it is illegitimate to have deductions even someone has cancel the ticket within 24 hours.

                                      I lodge a complaint here on this regard.

                                      You must include in my refund the illegitimate deductions of INR 1003 and give the FULL REFUND.

                                      Please bear in the mind that it is NOT a question of INR 1003, BUT it is GENUINENESS of MMT.

                                      On the contraryI STRONGLY advise MMT, as a geniune customer that MMT MUST BE CLEAR IN THE E-TICKET ABOUT THE CARRY-ON and CHECK-IN baggage (As I had travelled with so many e-tickets wherein it is clearly mentioned how many pieces/weight of each Check-in baggage(s) and Carry-on baggage AND Personal Article (if any eligible in the airlines in that particular class/type of fare ticket).

                                      Look forward to hearing a very POSITIVE response.

                                        To start with AC does not work for this Bus no. KA51AD1207. THIS BUS IS INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES. I mean saw more than 20 COCKROACHES on the bed i am about to sleep in. I requested for change of seat and got the worst seat possible. Since it is an AC bus the windows dont open so no ventilation only suffocation. Amenities promised such as TV, wifi, water dispenser, snacks etc dont exist. If i were not on official central govt tour I would have cancelled the journey and requested for a refund. Strict action needs to be taken against such fake advertising
