How to use Credit Note

I have booked a flight and cancelled the same on 16.12.2022 . For one side travel I got refund in my bank account and for other side i got credit note of Rs 9000/- .But during booking i am not able to use that. I had contacted your Bhubaneswar Branch but they ddnot help me.

I had booked a Hotel in Ooty by making full advanced payment from 7th to 10th April 2023. We have the confirmed booking reciept. On reaching there at around 6:50 PM, the hotel told us that they did not have a tie up with MMT. We called MMT and after waiting in cold outside MMT confirmed that the hotel is right and they can’t do anything but offer me a refund. We had travelled all the way from Bangalore we had no option to go back as the bandipur forest gates are closed at night. We asked them to provide alternate option and they just said they are sorry all the hotels in ooty are booked . Because of their carelessness or intentional fraud we had no where to stay in the middle of the night in cold weather. On insisting further they gave us an alternate hotel and confirmed the booking. On reaching this property we came across another surprise where they told no rooms are available and again I had to call MMT, we requested again to make arrangement only for one night and then refund rest of the amount, but they couldnt help . The new hotel team made us wait and ask us to adjust, where they took us to a place in remote location made us wait again for the key till 10 pm and to our surprise again the place was already book by 6 people and they wanted us to adjust with them. After paying the full amount in adavance, we had to go through so much of struggle and stress . There was no room, it was a fraud. We waited till 11:30 PM, called MMT but they didnt do anything other than telling us they will call back and manage for that night. Thank god we survived that night only because we had a car, otherwise anything could have happened to us. They offered us refund but its been more than a week, no call back and no refund. I feel its a crime, not only they took our money but left us to suffer with no regret of their own incompetency to fullfill the basic customer need on which the company is set up . They ruined our vacation, the time and money we spent to plan and travel, the long weekend we get after working daily and the first long weekend after my wedding. They have to refund all of my money and compensate the horrific experience me and my husband had to go through on the night of 7th April 2023. I have lost all my trust in MMT, they had a chance to regsin their faith by cslling us back but they dont care to do that as well… Hope this forum can help me get some justice!

    Hello Sir / Mam,

    I, Satish Ramdas Sable had did flight booking on 26 Mar, 2023 from make my trip. The flight is from Lucknow to Pune with Vistara airline on dated 01 Apr, 2023. I had booked tickets from MakeMyTrip for two travelers my self and my Dad. Total cost of booking is 12604 Rs while paying amount had applied two gift card of 10000 Rs and for pending 2604 Rs had selected credit card option. For paying pending 2604 Rs had filled the my credit card details and process the payment however instead of 2604 Rs they had debited 12604 Rs from my credit card. So with this flight booking which had total cost 12604 Rs MakeMyTrip took 22604 Rs from me.

    When I notice this Fraud extra 10000 Rs debited from my credit card, I called MakeMyTrip customer care and requested for refund of 10000 Rs to my credit card during this first called I got confirmation that amount will get refund in 3 to 4 working days and the document like bank statement booking details all provided to executive. However had not received any refund or any update from MakeMyTrip. Its been two week pass but as of now I did not received any refund and during this timeframe I called multiple time to MakeMyTrip customer care but every time new executive/floor supervisor pick the call and said old refund request rejected due to there technical/account team issue. During this process had called multiple time and got four refund tickets.

    I had did this travelled for surgery of my self during this difficult time I got mentally torture from MakeMyTrip refund process. I look forward to resolve this issue and get my refund ASAP.

      I made a booking for Collection O Hotel Vijay Park Near Chennai International Airport By oyo with the Booking ID - NH[protected], when I reached the hotel the property denied checkin mentioning that they have already ended the contract with OYO and no longer they are entertaining any booking of them.
      I connected with the oyo support desk and they acknowledged the issue and initiated the refund and asked me to connect with MMT for the refund.

      I raised the same complaint with the Account Manager of MMT dated 29th March and the email was acknowledged by him mentioning that the issue is being looked on and he will get it resolved, on dated 14th April I received a reply from the team that I need to connect with the support desk of MMT.
      on 14th April, when I connected with the Support desk they informed me that since its more than 7 days so they can initiate the refund.

      I have the full email thread with the Sales Manager, and also got confirmation from the Oyo over call that the refund is initiated.

        Travel date Dubai to India - 2nd Jan

        Incident - Explained below
        Desirable resolution - Refund of full ticket as despite of following up for 4 months to get refund of Neelam Rani ticket, MMT is negotiating to pay only 50% of 1 ticket. They should feel the heat of the pathetic treatment they do with customers
        Its not matter of money but principals

        Summarizing full incident below:

        1. I have booked a return flight ticket from Dubai to Delhi for my 4 family members - Mother, Wife, 2 daughters
        2. The return journey was on 2nd Jan at 16:30. Due to some urgency my mother's plan got changed and we requested the travel date change on 8th Jan
        3. I raised a request to date change on 30th Dec noon with the expectation that date change should be done within a few hours
        4. Totally opposite to my expectations, i got in touch with an executive Bhawna Upadhyay who told me that my case is raised to some concerned department and will get resolved on priority basis
        5. Post that i have called more than 15 times, you can check the call records as these were recorded for future reference.
        6. Every time I was given surety that Bhawna Upadhyay is following up with the concerned department and waiting for their action.
        7. Most frustrating part was that till 3 pm on 1st Jan she was unable to give response and when we connected at 3 pm she realised that concerned department sent a mail to her at 12 AM on 1st which she missed as system was not refreshed
        8. More irritating part was that there was a query from the so called concerned department, which she replied at 3 PM (i.e. just 1.5 hours left before a huge penalty of less than 24 hours).
        9. Despite that the date didn't change
        10. I got a call from another executive, Amit Singh, that there is a technical problem at MMT and you guys can't change the date so I have to go to Airport to check with Air India. He even gave me comfort that MMT will mail me that due to technical problems MMT can't change date
        11. For Obvious reasons, no mail was sent by Amit Singh which I kept waiting for before approaching Airport
        12. I went to Dubai airport and got the reply that they can't help as its agent booking ticket
        13. Finally we had no option but to do web checkin which somehow was not allowing for 3 passengers and it was already 24 hours left
        14. This is the worst part of the whole incident where I got mail from Amit Singh who just confirmed to me an hour back that there is a technical problem at MMT and you can't change the date. Amit Singh mentioned that MMT can't change the date as its already web check in
        15. Seriously...i mean seriously these guys take your customers that much granted and assumed we are real fools to follow up and expecting such a nasty reply at the end

        Now I am expecting the following from MMT end:
        1. Refund for ticket of all passengers with the chase for 4 months with most frustrating response despite of more than 15 calls from Dubai
        2. Want to understand the so-called concerned department who kept holding my case for more than 2 days
        3. How train are your executives in resolving complaints when despite regular follow ups Bhawna Upadhyay missed the mail and stopped taking my calls at the end. On the other hand, Amit Singh didn't mail me that there is a technical issue at MMT end. Over and above he sent me a mail that its my fault that MMT can't change the date
        4. Should i assume now that no one in my whole circle should use MMT with such a frustrating services

        I am facing same issue again with MMT TEAM where they never understood the mental trauma and the wasted time customers suffered because of your unacceptable attitude & disastrous services

        I was expecting refund of only my mother’s ticket since December and always expected to close the simple case within few days. It was total miss from MMT executives where despite of multiple calls I was unable to shift the date of travel

        Now after dragging for more than 4 months with uncounted multiple calls being in Dubai, MMT TEAM negotiated on 50% of ticket amount

        Worst part is the audacity of explaining that 50% was not negotiating but tried to close. Is it how they interpret their nasty mails?

        After escalating Indian consumer complaint board and MMT top management over Twitter, they are acting like doing largesse to me as if I am begging for my money

        It is matter of principal now and with such a pathetic, disastrous and totally unacceptable service, I want full refund of all passengers without exception

        As mentioned previously also, it’s very clear that these guys won’t be able to do justice as service providers because you never care for your customers. It’s just corporate autocracy MMT works and your actions are proving it again and again

        really request to close my case now with some reasonable justice and let me come out from this traumatic journey where I have to raise my voice in various forums n mails:-(

        After struggling more than 5 months with MMT, this is most unacceptable and insulting for me as a customer where you guys have closed my customer care ticket as well as Indian consumer complaints forum:(:(

        Is it the way MMT treat its customer and resolve the complaints?
        MMT offered me cancellation of 1 passenger in my ticket where I claimed all 4 passengers refund with the mental torture i had and unacceptable time wasted in calls and mails
        it can be seen in my mail chain which is more than 40 in numbers

        Even if MMT disagree with my proposal, there are ways of discussing and close ticket accordingly

        With disappointment even in this forum, i am forced to explore options of private advocate form India sitting in Dubai to present my case:(:(
        Is it the way we accept our service industry to work

        Over and above that, MMT has not appointed any Grievance officer, there is no customer support mail escalation...not sorry to say but this is WORST EVER EXPERIENCE from any service provider in industry

          I have done a hotel booking from MMT for 7th April 2023 and I have two rooms booked for 4 adults and 3 kids. But hotel owner denied my check in before I reached to hotel. I had followed up multiple times from morning evening that day with MMT customer care but they said that your booking is confirmed don't worry. And around at 8 PM i got a call from MMT team saying sorry we can't book hotel for you we are refunding your money and it was a horrific experience for me there was no internet and no hotel was taking bookings.
          Now MMT customer representative Saikat said me to book qnd additional 10000 rs they will reimburse apart from booking
          Now I have shared bills of 13000 and they reimburse half of it 6700 which is unfair to me please look into it and help.

                I cancelled one hotel booking. I chose to have refund processed into makemytrip wallet. And it say the refund has been processed into my wallet.

                But my wallet shows 0 balance.

                  I am Jees Paul P from kerala, I have booked hotel room in Golden Fern by Platina - Marayur -Munnar-kearla through make my trip app on[protected] the amount 2307 rupees . But my wife and child are hospitilised[protected] due to high fever and cold.I waited until today thinking that their illness would subside and I could continue the journey but they cannot relieve from illness.My child has 1.5 years old only. The fever become still high . I also canceled the room 35 hours ago. I waited so long in the hope of being able to travel. Kindly please refund my amount that will be very help full me to in the hospital charges. I attached doctors prescription and bill copy with this mail. I called the hotel directly and said that if it is a direct booking, they will pay the full amount after realizing the situation . I have come to know that since it was through to the mytrip app, the booking company itself has to make the refund. I have booked the room through yours app because of your trust, so I hope that you will understand the situation and take a good decision.

                          I booked a bus from Kolkata to Mandermani for 7th April 2023, booking I'd NU[protected] and the PNR is 48MC5QAF. But bus provider didn't attend my boarding location and didn't contact with me at the time of travel so I can not getting the bus on that day and when I contact with bus provider they told me to contact with make my trip, I tried to contact with u but I can't .So in this situation I paid all the money for booking so I am requesting you to please refund my money as soon as possible.

                              We have booked for Bellichukki homestay through make my trip. I have made the complete payment inclusive for hotel stay, breakfast and dinner in make my trip..Next day I got the call from the property owner as proper is already full and they are unable to provide the room for us. Inspite I tried makemytrip multiple times for cancellation and for getting refund ...makemytrip have not considered my issue, though nothing is wrong from my side...at last, as I am highly frustrated on makemy trip, they arranged for a conference call. Property owner told he can arrange for alternate good hotel. When I made a checkin there, we noticed it is in very poor condition, there is no fan, no TV, no attached restroom, blankets are dirty, rooms are not cleaned, we could see frogs, spider, cockroach roaming around. With no other option we stayed there and we has sleepless nights. Please help in getting partial refund on my booking(*MakeMytrip Booking ID*: NH[protected]

                                I Gourav Kumar book a hotel on 8 April 2023. Booking id is -NH[protected]
                                PNR-[protected] property name & city- the tulip hotel Bhowali .
                                When I reach the hotel the receptionist refused my booking…I spent whole day and night in the car … I faced lot of problems so kindly refund my money otherwise I take the help of consumer forum

                                  I had recently booked a train journey from MakeMyTrip. The amount got deducted twice. Even though the ticket got "Confirmed" the "Mytrips" section is only showing that the amount got refunded. There is no way to cancel the ticket in any way. my booking id is NR[protected].

                                    I booked bus from MMT for Delhi from kangra Himachal pradesh on 20 march 2023. In the evening I received a call from bus operator that due to some problem the bus got cancelled. I tried cancellation of my booking still I didn't receive any call from support of MMT. Its more than 15 days and I didn't get my refund. Please help me in this issue.

                                      Hi,
                                      I booked Nivedita hotel through make my trip on 6th April 12:30 am . I reached Varanasi from Delhi after 16 hours travel and came to know from hotel that they are sold out and they will not able to allot rooms to us. I was accompanied by old age mother, 11, month old baby and my wife.hotel asked to contact make my trip for my issue. When I contacted them they were able to resolve the issue, even suggested us to search for hotel by my self. If would have to search hotel after reaching varanasi then why would I had booked hotel through make my trip.me and my family travelled all the way from Delhi to varanasi in the assumption we have hotel booking in nivedita hotel.make my trip left my family without solution and even they don't have courtesy for call back even after calling 5-6 time for 4-5 hours.strick action required for make my trip and nivedita hotel for such mis treatment and leaving people in helpless situations.
