    My flight from Delhi to Kolkata was cancelled for which they issued full refund back to Makemytrip. MMT did not inform me of any change neither did they refund me the money. This is happening for the second time.

      I have tried to book a hotel on 17th Oct, 2020 through MakeMyTrip mobile app. I have selected Hotel De Nada, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. Once hotel preferences selected and processed for payment. While processing payment via Netbanking, session timed out, however payment deducted from bank account. Then I called to Hotel De Nada to confirm booking, but they denied that there was no booking is showing at their system. I have tried to find out and called to Make My Trip helpline numbers given on website, but all numbers are either wrong number or not connected. Thereafter, because of exigency I booked again Hotel De Nada via MakeMyTrip and then processed via Netbanking and it was successful. This booking was confirmed by Hotel De Nada also. Thus, two payments done by me. Requesting refund of 1st payment done but booking not done. Enclosing double payment receipts for ease of reference. Please advise.

      No responses received from MakeMyTrip official till now. Please advise, should I file complaint against MakeMyTrip in consumer court. If yes, which one is the appropriate Authority/Location to file complain. MMT is running business to embezzle people. This needs to stop and strict action to be taken against MMT.

        Hi Team,

        I have booked one holiday package with MMT for phuket. Now due to covid the travel is not allowed and goair cancelled the flight itself.

        They are not refunding the money.

          I have gifted a Makemytrip gift card to my relative and after that the Lockdown happened due to pandemic. Then I approached MMT team to extend the validity and they replied saying once the validity about to expire, they will increase it. I purchased the gift card in Nov 2019 with a 1 year validity. I sent mail for extension in May 2020 and they replied saying contact in Oct 2020. Now I am contacting them no reply from them. I feel now as cheated by a company where I am booking everything from last 10 yrs.

            Its been almost over two month since my flight got cancelled by air lines and i still have not received my refund.

            I have booked an air India flight through MMT on 19th of august from Dharamshala to chandigardh. the flight got cancelled due to bad weather. as i got stuck in a bad situation i had to raise priority based refund and as per normal procedure of any airline i should have receive my refund with in 15 to 21 days. its been almost 2 months and i still haven't received my refund.i am also not getting any proper update on either website or app about my refund status. I tried calling customer support more then 20 times to ask about my refund status but MMT executives are not even receiving and answering any calls.

            would like an early response on this issue.

                I had placed a request for cancellation of my tickets and a refund for the same due to pandemic and travel restrictions imposed to Singapore from India. I have also spoken to the airlines and they informed that the refund was already credited to make my trip. Unfortunately I don’t receive any response from MMT despite of many msgs and calls. Kindly let me know the status of my refund.

                  I tried booking tickets for 2 times via make my trip for an emergency situation from Sharjah to Trivandrum. But both the two times my account has been debited with out confirming the ticket.. Still now I didn't get my refund amount...Do you think it is fair that your agency is holding my money for the last 4 days for a payment failure... Most of the online agencies will revert back the money in case of payment failure...But MakeMyTrip is holding my money just for a payment failure issue...This is not fair... I tried writing to most of your customer support noone is responding...

                    I am having very hard time with this MMT cancellation. I booked a hotel stay at Kabbe Holidays, Coorg on 16th Oct 2020 and as soon as I completed the booking, I received a call from the hotel stating they are closed due to Covid and heavy rain. They also mentioned that they have already informed MMT not to take any booking but it was still not reflected in the site.
                    After hearing this, I cancelled the booking as per the hotel's request and the refund amount Rs 5252 I chosen it to be original payment mode which is bank account.
                    However, they have processed the refund to wallet without my willingness. I need the money urgently but now I am unable to reach MMT customer care via phone now email. However I tried to reach it is leading to the dead end.

                    This is so difficult and pain for consumers. There are no rules and no proper communication channels to rectify the problems.

                      my ticket was cancelled by vistara customer care on 19/09/20 due to rescheduled your connecting flight,
                      The customer care person was told that the refund will credited within 6 to 10 working days. But refund is not credited yet.
                      Please provide the refund status as soon as possible.

                        Flight is cancel during the covid 19 hence i request for refund, flight is refunded amount RS7857 in this amount make my trip only proceed 349 RS to my account only and portal is showing proceed RS7857 RS to my account refund amount when i send email about refund they did't reply and chat is to horrible he is only told check with portal and portal not provided all information.

                        Refund already paid by airlines to mmt I confirmed by airline but mmt is not refund to our account yet..it is to horrible..

                              both refunds are being held by make my trip and not giving it to me
                              MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                              Spice Jet have emailed me that they have refunded the money to make my trip. Make my trip is not refunding the money to me.
                              Similar situation with Indigo.
                              Make my trip is not contactable by any means. Their website tricks you to choose " cancelled by airline option " but when you choose this it comes with " cancelled by passenger " and then offers no refund. It is totally fraudulent and shameful that the company is stealing from its customers .
                              Can you report makemytrip to a consumer court and or Civil aviation Authority for fraud.
                              Below is last correspondence to them but no reply for months.

                                  I had canceled two booking Id 1) NF[protected] PNR# QGN3JC and 2)

                                  NF[protected] PNR for flight FPBBPE Rekha Aarohi under doubleblack booking. However, MMT refused to provide 100% refund under the name of force majeure. Finally, I personally spoke to Indigo who agreed to put Rs 6000 each for above two bookings under credit shell. They further refunded teh amoun to make my trip on below transations

                                  transaction[protected] refunded on 9th oct .
                                  But MMT has still not refunded the money to us.

                                    Please resolve this issue ASAP. And please refund one extra transaction(₹11, 1108) that happened.

                                      While rescheduling the flight I made the payment to MMT. I received the message stating
                                      "Dear SAURABH KUMAR,
                                      Unfortunately, your rescheduling of flight booking NF[protected] from Delhi to
                                      Patna has failed after successful payment. This happens at times because of a temporary tech failure.

                                      We have initiated a refund of Rs *4954.0 to your account which will take 3-12 days to appear in your account. We request you to retry with a fresh payment or call us at[protected]."

                                      And it is now been 18th Oct'2020 and I did not get any money. There is no option in customer support to speak to a MMT representative. It was really a painful experience with make my trip.

                                        I have tried to contact MMT from customer care number and mail but the are not responsive at all, One month back I got a mail from MMT and they assured That I would get my refund still its pending.
                                        after calling indigo I came to know that the refund request is not even initiated from MMT at all.

                                        I have not received any refund yet. I called Indigo customer care. They are ready to initiate the refund but I am not sure whether I would get the refund from MMT. As the customer care support is not good in MMT. and my money is on hold for a long time. So in this case I want to be sure about the refund first.
