Made booking through make my trip. When reached hotel for check-in, authorities told that we are not allowed to check-in because it was mentioned that couples are not allowed but this statement was not reflected when the booking was done. Was asked to call make my trip and to shift the booking in another hotel.
Called the concerned authority. Refused to shift in first place, then, was asked to pay the extra amount. When asked for nearby hotel where we can stay, the call was put on hold for half an hour and i disconnected.
Called again and they refused to shift the booking. Refused to adjust money with other hotel, refused for refund. This happened on 18august, 2019.
Called again on 22august, 2019, had word with muzamal, for refund and they refused everything. They told from my side i refused to pay extra amount and it was all my mistake that i didn't read the instructions. No refund granted. And when asked to connect to senior manager, told that he will say the same thing. Told that he will escalate the issue and i will get the call with solution but till now no response

    We had booked 3 rooms in a hotel of coorg... But on the day of our check in we found that all the routes to the hotel were heavily flooded... Before going there we had contacted the hotel to check the situation there... But we were mis lead by them...in the very morning were roaming here and there for a decent hotel... We tried to contact the customer care but no body received the calls... Please understand that it's a situation related to natural calamity and was unavoidable... I humbly request you to cancel our booking as we could neither got to see the hotel nor took the service for which we had paid

      I have booked a room in makemytrip in oyo silverkey executive stays 38029 booking id was nh7p[protected] from 22nd aug 2019 to 23 aug 2019 from 12 pm to 11 am, but when i arrived over there on 22 aug 2019 @1pm the hotel receptionist told me that no rooms were booked in my name, and when i showed the booking details they told me that they dont know anything and i have not received any cancellation msg or mail yet. This is a serious issue that entails the trust on makemytrip and yesterday i was forced to book another room for my stay.

        I wanted to make bookings using makemytrip app and i have been offered mmt finance to use. I have used it once and it was helpful but it never showed up since then. It's been almost one month.

        I have used mmt finance only once and i could never repay because it doesn't reflect though i paid small amount to check and secondly mmt finance option is missing on payment page to make further bookings. It has become extremely difficult to me.

        Chat with myra is not helpful. Would appreciate support from mmt.

        Mmt must have proper support team to reach out in emergency.

        App team needs to fix and investigate why option don't show up

          I never tried traveling through bus but when i tried it turned out to be a disappoint for me. I had booked a trip from chennai to nagercoil through makemy trip india in srm transports at 18/08/19. Due to an emergency i had to cancel my booking before travel at the same day. Even though the bus transport service support accepted my plea and sent me refund amount details, makemytrip is now went offline and not even responding. They are having invalid feedback and customer service support number on their website. Instead of taking calls and clearing grievances they are sending offers. Worst service in the world.

            I have booked an MSRTC bus ticket from makemytrip.com. While Online booking and selecting the seat i was shown the front 2nd Row seat for seat# 33. But At the time of boarding i found that seat#33 is the last corner seat in the BUS. Same fraudulent case happened for seat#32 passenger as well. He was also shown the front 2nd Row seat for seat#32 at the time of booking but the seat was at last row. This is a clear cheating and fraud that these bus operators are doing with passengers. This was a semi sleeper bus but since the actual seat#33 was at last row i could barely sit properly on that seat. The seat was very uncomfortable and at every speed breaker/holes in the road, i faced terrible bumps, jerks and shocks. The entire night i struggled and faced alot of health issues next day. My entire body is paining because of this. Please take this issue seriously and please provide my money back. Also please make sure you show the correct seat position on your website.

              I planned a holiday from aug 21st to 26th to Vietnam, I booked my flight tickets through Makemytrip. The whole trip costed me around 1.5lakhs for 3 o[censored]s (me, my husband and my baby).
              I had my flight from Hyderabad to Hanoi on aug 21st but due to visa issue I couldn’t board the flight.
              I fixed the visa issue and rescheduled my flight the next day with makemytrip paying an amount of 57380 which is a top up amount over the original booking. As the tickets were not available in economy class I upgraded to business class. The booking was made by makemytrip call center person Vaibhavi. After the booking they sent me the itinerary stating that ticket is confirmed and also the payment invoice. They said the e-ticket will be sent through email.
              And then I called them several times to the customer service for the e-ticket and they had one answer wait for sometime.
              I went to the airport to the checkin counter and then the airlines say there is no booking on my name.
              I immediately called the customer care and they were online for 2 hours and then the checkin counter also got closed. Then the makemytrip supervisor Aakash says I need to make a fresh booking. MMT team played drama and cheated us without booking flight ticket.

              All this happened at the wee hours of 1 am. I was with my 15 months old baby and even after their mistake makemytrip doesn’t provide any compensation. Because of their mistake, I lost 1 lakh Trip amount. MMT has to compensate this lost at any cost.

                I have opted for the mmt finance - capital float for booking my flight tickets on 7th jul 2019. During the payment option i have selected the monthly emi option for 12 months for the total purchase of inr 89673 for which the monthly emi was approx. Inr 7900. But post my purchase i have never received any intimation regarding my emi payments or the payment schedule for future emis.

                During initial period my emi was reflecting in the mmt app but currently it shows only the total amount to which mmt have already started charging inr 30 each day without any intimation. Attached are the screenshots for reference.

                Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                  I got amount of 200000 approved for make my trip travel finance and i used it for my tickets for international holiday and now i dont see that option anymore, i called makemytrip customer care they say it is not their product and i will have to see other modes to book tickets, i was able to see that travel finance option and amount and now i dont see it. I have been given so many numbers by makemytrip customer care and all the numbers are not in service, they are not resolving the issue. I want that option back into my makemytrip account.

                    I had taken a round trip to vijayawada on 27th june. Return flight on 30th was cancelled, i was supposed to get a refund of 4173/- from mmt... Mmt customer care providers tell me that refund has been initiated from there side on july 2 nd and they have shared the reference number as well... But it's not reflecting in my account, i ve shared my bank statement with mmt, but still no response... Have enquired in the bank also... Please send my refund money

                      Writing this complaint in middle of night at 2.20 am.
                      Checkin issue - hotel owner or servant denied for checkin as they cancelled the contract a month ago from current date 20-aug 2019.
                      I had raised the issue to make my trip agent named arjit and abhishek on hotline no. Of makemy trip, both of them and other agents from make my trip was just transferring the call in middle of the night at 1 am i explained the situation still they were giving template answers, "we have forward the issue to concern person and will get back to u in max 45 mints" 2 hrs passed still no call received. Just received messages issue has been resolved however it is not. I really do not understand such kind of behaviour and negligence for their customer standing on the gate of hotel in middle night. Now passed 2 hrs team is not concerned yet.
                      Complaints and issues, i request the team to consider this case of -
                      Negligence
                      Providing the hotel booming for which they have already cancelled the contract that means frudulence on their behalf.
                      Selling something which is not for sale.
                      Unavailability of customer support 24*7 in night (Fake promises)

                        This is to inform you that we have booked air tickets through Makemytrip as per booking ID - NN[protected] for our trip to Budapest as per the copy of ticket is enclosed. The tickets were booked on 24th November, 2018 but later due to some technical reasons we have cancelled the same on 17th April, 2019. Copy of ticket cancellation is enclosed for your perusal.

                        We thought that once the ticket is cancelled, the booking amount will be automatically credited to the account which was used while booking tickets. However, when we have checked our accounts, we are surprised to note that we have not received any refund towards ticket cancellation from makemytrip. After a lot of follow-up we have received communication from makemytrip that refund will be credited to our account in 12 hours ( copy enclosed). However, till writing this email we have not received the same, although it is almost 4 months have been passed. As we have booked tickets online directly in the portal of makemytrip, it is their sole responsibility to refund the amount once the ticket is cancelled and if it is falling under cancellation policy. The tickets were booked under refundable category.

                        In view of the above, we hereby lodge a complaint with consumer forum to take up this issue appropriately with makemytrip and arrange for the refund with interest at the earliest. We are ready to produce any document which are required to settle the issue expeditiously.

                        Greetings from MakeMyTrip.
                        We acknowledge your concern and truly understand the inconvenience cause to you on the matter.
                        Would like to update you that we are continuously following up with Jet Airways / concerned authorities for refund against your booking and the moment we receive the amount or any update on the matter, we shall keep you informed.
                        For reference, we have attached the refund application copies which is the proof that refund is pending for approval.
                        We would also like to assure you that MakeMyTrip is not withholding your money and never will. Kindly do note that the issue of refund being awaited from Jet Airways for customers who had future dated bookings with them at the time of discontinuation of operations, is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from, including airline's website. We thank you for being supportive with us.
                        For your kind reference, we are sharing below a view of the developments so far -
                        It has been reported widely in the Press that Jet Airways has been placed into bankruptcy protection as of 20 June 2019; and an Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) has been appointed by India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). MakeMyTrip has filed all details of customer claims due from Jet Airways with NCLT as per the prescribed process. As a result any refunds (full or partial) will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT.
                        As per the latest update from International Air Transport Association (IATA) which is a trade association representing world’s airlines, it continues to work with the airline to manage the claim process but expects a delay given the bankruptcy filing. Further updates will be provided when additional details become available.
                        So far MakeMyTrip has filed claims of the customers due from Jet Airways with NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) as per the prescribed process. Refunds will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT. We will notify you as soon as we hear on the refund status. We sincerely hope you understand and appreciate our limitations in this matter, being an online travel partner and solicit your continued co-operation and patience in this matter.

                          So here’s a story:
                          I book a bus ticket from makemytrip.com for my sister on 5th august and receive each and every confirmation about the booking being successful. On the date of journey 18 august, when my sister reaches the point to board the bus the bus operator says that they have not received any booking of her name from makemy trip and the time was 11:20pm.
                          I try to reach out the “24/7” customer service only to get my call disconnected 4 times and then to get a reply from ivr that the lines are active only from 9am to 12am. I try to contact via chat only to get a reply today morning.
                          Today, when i finally got lucky enough to get a chance to talk to their delighting customer service, i was repeatedly asking for a supervisor but only got to hear “our supervisors are not available now, i have requested a call back” for 4 times. Finally after which i had to be stubborn enough to not to disconnect the call and get the supervisor after 35 minutes of waiting on my 4th call.
                          This is an example of the best ever customer service.
                          And makemytrip’s ceo deep kalra is extremely responsive to reply me on my email sent to him today morning.
                          Now answer me :
                          1. Why was no information passed on to me by india’s no. 1 travel website or your bus operator even till 1 hour before the journey began?

                          2. Who would have been responsible if something happened to my sister who was there alone stranded at 11:30 pm in an almost deserted place?

                          3. Who will make up for the loss of time and for the hassle caused to 3 other family members who were sitting 800 kms away from her?

                          4. How can @makemytrip not take care of the safety of its passengers, and specially when its a female passenger traveling at almost midnight?

                          You @makemytrip have given me a fabulous booking experience. Thank you.

                            We have purchased the insurance offered by make my trip for the flight cathay pacific
                            14th august from bangalore - hong kong-sfo
                            And return tickets from sfo-hong kong-bangalore.
                            We have lodged a complaint on 14 th august stating the insurance details have not been forwarded to us.
                            Its 19th august and we still haven't received the details, we are very disappointed as its been 5 days and we are still awaiting for the details.
                            We want it as soon as possible, so as to not have any issues during the trip.

                              Once I have done ticket with this and I m paying the EMI on time too..
                              But now I m trying to cut ticket bt m nt getting the option of mmt travel finance in the payment section..
                              I have tried more than 20 times then also it's not coming..
                              I hv 192000 mmt travel finance balance..
                              Request u to plz resolve the issue...

                                I had booked a holiday package for my parents to Himachal Pradesh - 5N 6D from 12th Aug, 2019 - 17th Aug 2019 in Make My Trip and paid INR 64000/-

                                Package arrangements and coordination was worst and never had such experience any time before with any of the tour package

                                They had alloted a different hotels than the booked one, in manali we had booked Holiday BnB hotels which is a 3 star hotel but they had alloted Holiday Spa and Resorts which was a low rated and a 2 star hotel and Shimla Woodrina was the worst hotel we never had been. In the Shimla hotel there was no proper safety for the customers windows were broken, bed had bedbugs, toilet splush and water gun was not atall working. Along with all these worst experience there were no other rooms filled apart from us, all the rooms were empty and it was very scary

                                We explained the MMT team on the issues but there was no proper support from them and they refuse to book us other hotel for the stay. In spite of making numerous calls to MMT, the problem could not be resolved.

                                I kept calling Make My Trip team for assistant but every time they had the same thing to say. That they have written to the concerned department and it is on priority and the issue will be resolved soon. That someone will call me in but never I got call from MMT team and I was forced to call and keep waiting for the response. They diverted the assistant stating we are not concerned team and on ground team would support but non of the MMT team supported us on the issue

                                MMT had not shared us the proper coordination details with the emergency contact number for the issues during trip which was again a matter of concern and also challenging to reach the team for ontime assistance

                                I have payed for the package including 3 star accomodation and MMT has arranged below 2 star/ worst hotels for the accomodation and has refused to serve us our concern and book other hotel for smooth run of the tour.

                                MMT team is least bother about the customer service and customer satisfaction and they are making money in a worst manner giving false trip package itinerary and MMT is a complete group of scam people
                                I demand refund for my accomodation and trip as we were not served what was assured of the package itinerary

                                If my money is not refunded from MMT team I will be raising this complaint in the consumer court for my justice. I have attached all the required photo's for the same

                                  Makemy trip is not refunding my amount due to jet airways insolvency. I had received cancellation mail on april due to jet insolvency, i had to issue new ticket of rs 85000/- where makemytrip have initiated only 10000/- rs on 11 may. They are not giving any such confirmation when they will refund my 33955/- rs. They are giving such # statement that we have already issued our request to national company law tribunal (Nclt). I dont understand why customer is suffering if they are get delayed by nclt team. I have paid my money to makemytrip not other one.

                                    I have makemytrip finance activated... But can't use that option to book tickets... There are no overdue payments from my end. I have tried to get this resolved through the chat option but that hasn't been of any help. The finance option totally disappeared from my payment method screen while booking, yet i have enough credits left when i am checking. Also i don't see my wallet while booking.

                                      This is chor company. I made the booking for phuket from mmt website today in the morning with the booking id nh7p[protected]. I forgot to select the meal and instead of 29/10/2019 check out i mentioned it for 28/10/2019. I dont have the option but need to get it cancel and make the new booking. At the time of booking the mmt given the voucher number of inr 2000 which i applied and balance amount need to make at hotel.in mmt website it is clearly mentioned "cancellation charges will not be applicable if it gets cancel by 22/10/2019".

                                      When i am trying to cancel it now they are not refunding the discount coupon amount which i used. I spoke to mmt customer service in the morning and they are denied to return the amount of inr 2000.00. The mmt is try to use the discount amount which was given as gesture for my previous hotel booking and problem which i had faced. The lady argued with me and kept me on hold 3 times and didnt get the resolution. This company is totally try to take customers on granted.

                                        This was booked well in advance and advance amount was paid! The journey was on 13 august. There was no road blockage or anything. Makemytrip cancelled at the last moment putting us in deep trouble and almost spoiling our plans. I finally got an alternative my paying twice as much. Who is responsible for this? We had already paid for the hotel a non refunable rate. So how can mmt cancel at the last moment a long distance car hire. What is the use of booking with a so called reputable company like mmt where they can cancel for no reason? This is fooling people.
