When i booked a holiday to udaipur through mmt (Booking id-nl[protected] i thought this trip will end well but after that all hell broke loose. My whole trip had problems of plenty and was marred by irresponsible mmt representatives who refused to help me timely and sometimes spoke in nonchalant tones. I am thinking of filing a case through a legal firm but first wanted to raise the issue here. I represent a legal firm so i know my rights.
Here is the list of various issue that i faced during the trip:
1. I received a mail regarding the cancellation of my jet airways flight scheduled on 4/14/2019. I understand that jet airway flight cancellation wasn't in mmt's hands but since i had booked the holiday package it was expected of mmt to follow up with me and provide me an alternative flight options. At last when i had to call them, they referred it to another department and so forth and then one day a call came to me, i asked them for other options, and they promised to call me within 24 hours. They called me after 5 working days and quoted a higher price than what i could see on mmt app. Disappointed, i booked the flight myself and requested for refund. There was no respect for a customer's time.
2. There was an activity included in the package 'high tea at fateh palace' that was cancelled and informed to me only 24 hours before the trip. Weren't they supposed to inform me well ahead of the tour so that i could plan my trip accordingly? Doesn't mmt have any responsibility and accountability? Disappointed, i had to accept a cancellation and requested for refund.
3. It is a procedure (Also maintained in the mails from mmt) that the driver details have to be shared 24 hours before the trip starts. I got no communication/sms at all. Concerned, i called the helpline from delhi airport, they promised me to call back but no one called back. At udaipur airport i again called out of concern, the vendor was taken into conference and he was quite rude to me. It spoiled my mood before even the trip began.
4. When i got no notification for a refund on 'high tea' activity i had to again call mmt helpline, the guy at the receiving end (Dipanshu was his name) showed his inability to understand and asked me to wait for just 10 mins to confirm things. I waited for around 40 minutes, but when no call came to me, i again called helpline and this guy dipanshu said they will initiate a refund. He also incorrectly told me that the some percentage of the refunded amount will go to mmt wallet. I tried to make him understand that since the jet airways flight cancellation refund has already been applied to my mmt wallet, the refund amount of the 'high tea' activity should not be going to my mmt wallet. This guy was adamant and after much persuasion agreed to my request. What seemed logical to me was illogical to this rep.
All my trip mmt showed a complete lack of accountability, responsibility and ethical treatment of customers. When i should have been enjoying my trip, i was busy calling mmt helpline repeatedly and to no avail. This lack o[censored]nprofessional behavior is really in bad taste and shouldn't be tolerated.
If i do not get a proper compensation and a justification of the entire turn of events, be rest assured i am going to drag mmt to the court!

Updated by Heyman Also, i forgot to add that because of the delay on MMT's part while following up on flight bookings, i had to spend an extra amount of money to book te AIR india flight. If they had responded timely, i could have booked the flight at a lower price. They promised to call back within 24 hours and called after 5 days.

Updated by Heyman And again, with their latest comment by MMT here, it has been proved that MMT has the worst Representatives. Where did I ask for jet airways refund? This proves that they don't even read carefully the concerns. This reply by them is an apt example of how inefficient they are.
I am in the process of fill ng a case against them because they don't seem to learn from their mistakes

Updated by Heyman There has been no progress so far. Speaks a volume about MMT inefficiency.
1. Nobody has a duty to reply to purely unidentified, anonymous and indefinite complaints.
The above public complaint does not show
- author Ids
- etickets and PNR,
- amount, currency
- the text of the complaint
- reason of the refund, and rules related to quality of the complaint and the time of the refund.
Such correspondence will lead to the lost of the chance on the refund / compensation.
2. In order to get the compensation the pasenger can apply for it by yourself, if he knows the rules. If the passenger does not, and still want the compensation, the pasenger can hire a legal professional for the remuniration, starting from Rs6000, not less, for such types of claims related to 1 passngers in order to fill the law suit in the nearest court.
3. The legal professional can explain, what you are entitled to, based on the documents,
which are in the posession, and which are submitted by the pasenger,
and can submit the claim to the district court.
It is in the interest of the passenger to apply for the refund / the compensation as soon as possible, but not later than in 15 days folwing the notification on the flight cancllation
and not later than in 360 days in all circumsatnmes.
