On 10-th of january 2018 i have booked hotel at a non-refunadable rate in absolute hotel in paris. After contacting the hotel, they told me that mmt already contacted the hotel and the reservation is canceled by the hotel. The hotel staff explained to me that they work only with booking.com and expedia and never heard of mmt, and because they don't know you the reservation is canceled.
I wrote to mmt support with reference id:[[protected]] and ask what is going on? They told me not worry, everything will be ok and they will e-mail me. Nothing!!! Nobody contacted me. I called mmt callcenter. I have around 10 calls with them. Everytime they tell me that will e-mail me, and then nothing. This is awful, to have canceled reservation and you to contact the agent, i think it should be the opposite. I spoke numerous time with the hotel, the reception manager sebastian is very cooperative, he escaleted the case to the gm of the hotel, then to the members of the board of the hotel group that owns the hotel - https://www.maranathahotels.com/fr. they told me there is availability, but mmt didn't sent them any money.
The case is managed by aakash kori (Aakash. [protected]@makemytrip.com) from mmt. He also assures me that there will be no problem, but if there is a problem other hotel will be offered. But what a surprise, yesterday he wrote me that mmt canceles reservation to some operational issue and there is no suitable alternative to offer.
I'm sorry, but makemytrip lies me. The hotel is still available for the same dates (05-12 feb 2018), everyone can check - https://www.absolutehotelparis.com/en/.
The hotel is still available on mmt web site but for 6 nights (05-11 feb 2018). I talked again with aakash and informed him about the availability and also send him 3 alternative hotels with worst locations from mmt website.
I can't believe this is happening!
I want to confirm our booking as it was, or to be moved to alternative hotels!
