Hi,
I booked in mmt on 2 may for stay at haridwar in homestay category. I got the payment confirmation message from mmt but no confirmation from host. So i tried to contact mmt team for confirmation of my booking, but all in vain. At last i got message of request id (467300) expired after 48 hours. No compensation and refund initiated till now.

    As per the insurance certificates issued against my air tickets, the insurance policy is available for above 6 months and below 70 years. My son is 1.5 years and is therefore eligible for insurance.

    I received a contradictory email from mmt (Olivia bhanja 17/04/2018 03.18 pm): kindly be informed that this mail is in regards to the insurance that you opted for the booking id xxxxxxxxxxxx. As per the telephonic conversation you on the mobile number xxxxxxxxxx please be informed that the infant xyz is linked to the adult xyz, so that is the reason why a separate insurance is not required for the infant. The insurance for adult will also be applicable for the infant.

    However, i received a contradictory statement from the insurance company, apollo munich. Reply from apollo munich ' we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused but would like to clarify that though our company can offer a policy for the individuals in the age group of 6 months to 70 years however the travel policies through makemytrip can be opted by customers between the ages 2 years - 70 years."

      This is in regard with our booking and stay at crystal palace, mussoorie from 27-29 april 2018.

      We decided to book this hotel to celebrate anniversary of our parents aged 60.

      (Not told that there was no lift and old age people had to climb 3 floors - and one had joint pain issue/ asthama issue)

      We booked two rooms with breakfast and dinner accompanied, we paid rs13000 from your trusted website make my trip, suffice to say that we are a regular customer of make my trip and have always believed in whatever your website offers and we have never had any problems in the past of any kind with any of our bookings.

      We drove from delhi to mussoorie and it was a 8-9 hour long drive, finally when we reached the hotel we were given a family room which was connected with common door, this was in contradiction of what we had booked which was two executive rooms.

      Celebrating anniversary with a common door...

      Since we all were tired we decided to stay at the hotel and have dinners at the hotel as we already had dinner included in our booking as a map plan.

      We we're then told by the manager that the map plan will only include veg dishes and non veg would be on ala carte

      Now this was extremely disappointing and it was nowhere mentioned that the breakfast and dinner will include only veg items.

      After a lot of discussion with the manager akash we could not understand why he could help us, all discussion went in vain as the manager was extremely stubborn and was not helping at all. We tried to give him suggestions to upgrade our meal to a non veg one and take an extra payment but he wasn't willing to listen or make any kind of change. I have never seen or had such an experience from a person from the hospitality.

      We finally decided to order non veg ala catre basis but he service for food was very poor we had to wait a lot for all the dishes to come to the table.

      This wasn't enough, second day we ordered mutton dish, which the manager told us that they will be preparing fresh and has to be ordered four hours before which we did. But at the time of delivery we were served raw mutton dish. This was unacceptable as we had already given them instructions to prepare more than four hours prior. We couldn't wat the dish and had to order something else.

      A we wanted was that the map plan should have suggested if it was particularly veg or non veg. This goo[censored]p ended up in a very sad anniversary celebration, the manager was also not certain helpful in understanding our concerns, he just kept saying its the package.

      This was misleading as we have booked similar deals in our past bookings and have never had any such issues.

      Additionally, there were few more concern about this hotel property:

      Linen was not fresh.

      There were holes in room/ roof which had anything coming out of it.

      Dripping water from geyser which did not let me sleep.

      Dampness from roof.

      Hair in tomato soup - which was replaced thankfully.

      All we wanted is a peaceful anniversary celebration for our parents, but just because of this misleading information on the website about the entire package and things to be included or excluded it led to a very troubled and stressful situation.

      We only talked about hotel and its poor service.

        My flight from coimbatore to cochin which was actually scheduled for 08.04.2018 got c cancelled ny the airlines later they postponded it to 09.04.2018 and that was cancelled too.
        According to the policy if the flight was cancelled by the airlines then the customer is eligible for full refund and
        It's been two weeks still i haven't got any notification from makemytrip regarding my refund and the process will be initiated within 3 business days. It's been a month still i didn't get my money.
        It seems like you people are not confirmed with travel agency about the cancellation and refund.

          Family gateway to munnar holiday package.
          On 2nd april i cancelled the hotel portion of the above package. A refund of rs 2280 was confirmed. But so far i have not received the same in spite of my calling them repeatedly on their helpline numbers. Every time only elusive answers are given to me. Pls issue my refund immediately. I cannot understand why so much of delay in issuing the refund. It is my own money which i am asking them to return that also after a month. Please resolve the matter immediately.             I have completed my trip few hours back
            I was made to understand that apart from toll tax and parking all other charges are included in the trip

            Similarly i have paid all the charges, but my driver has taken rs 1300 extra from me on the pretext of night charges and fooding allowance, which i think is wrong on his part

            For a three day trip i suppose all are included in the total price

            Kindly look into the matter and get me the refund of rs1000 overcharged by him

Please be advised that, Inr 500 was charged for night charges. And Inr 800 was charged against the state tax. These are regular charges and are clearly mentioned on the cab voucher shared from our end. Request you to please refer the vouchers for clarifications.               On 14th April 2018, I booked 6 seats of a Bus through makemytrip app from rishikesh to Delhi for our trip on 15th April 2018 whose starting point is Nepali Farm Circle and Bus was supposed to start its journey at 7:31 PM. The bus operator was shakti Travels. I assumed that I & my family will get the most comfortable journey since it has been booked from MakeMyTrip as they claim that they are the number 1 travel company in India. They did not show any pic of the bus in their App. However, this journey turned out to be the most horrible journey I have ever had which kept my family's safety & security at stake. I suffered both mentally and financially during this journey.
              Here are few of the points which will help you understand why this journey has been most uncomfortable, horrible, unsafe, & pathetic journey I have ever had for both me and my family:
              1) Me & my family, were asked to wait at Nepali Farm Circle, Rishikesh which is the extremely secluded & dark isolated place to wait. The bus was supposed to arrive at 7:31 PM but it arrived at 8:30 PM. There was no office of Shakti Travels there. Only 1 small local shop from where 1 lady was coordinating for multiple operators. Infact, she also was not sure at exactly what time the Bus will arrive. There were people drinking alcohol there and anything would have happened.
              2) Comfortable Journey: As soon as I entered the Bus, it was extremely uncomfortable. There was no space to stand properly, there was no space between lower chair seat and upper Sleeper Seats. Whenever a speed breaker comes, our head bangs on the upper sleeper seats. This could have also caused an injury into our head.
              3) Difficulty in breathing: The A/C was not working properly even after multiple complaints. It was difficult to breathe for me and my family. I even went towards the Driver area.
              4) Safety at stake: Mine and my family's safety was kept at stake. The bus operator kept on stopping at various places to fill the bus with unreserved passengers.
              All a passengers expects during his 6-7 hour long journey with his family is Comfort, Safety & Security, No Suffocation, Best Services. As you can see from above points. All these things were missing.

              There has been really no support from MakeMyTrip at all even after complaining to them about this case number of times as well as speaking with their senior management number of times.
              All they are offering is Rs 500 voucher and there has been no action against the Bus Operator.
              I want a full refund of the journey I had and a strict action against the Bus Operator.

              I will be looking forward to a support from your team.

              I have booked a domestic hotel from MMT but booking got failed but the amount was debited.They told that they will give my refund back but its almost a month and still i am fighting for my money.And booking was failed two times so the amount was also debited two times

                Very poor customer service. i had experience where they tried to increase the air ticket booking amount even after sending the confirmation email. I had to fight a lot to get the money back but I ended up losing a lot of time and effort.

                  I booked hotel room from make my trip app on 5 april, 2018. The booking was cancelled from make my trip side and the amount was deducted from my account. I used sbi atm card for this purchase. This happened with my two booking consecutively on same date. The two booking make my trip id's are nh[protected] and nh[protected] with amount deduction of rs. 2421 and rs. 5511 respectively from sbi bank.
                  I have contacted make my trip plenty of times and they say they have processed the refund from their end on 10 april, 2018 for both failed booking id's. They shared arn -74678448101000000000000 and asked me to contact bank customer care for tracing these amounts as this number is generated when bank receives the payment as acknowledgement but the amount has still not credited into my account no. - [protected]. But the bank is saying they are unable to trace the transaction from this number as this number is generated at the central level of sbi bank. Sbi bank customer care says they need a utr no. (For neft or rtgs) with which the refund was processed from mmt side, but the mmt is denying in providing me that no.
                  Both make my trip and sbi bank people are harassing me and it has been nearly 25 days since i have started complaining and every time mmt customer just says to wait for 48 hrs to get the payment.
                  I request you to take strict action against them and help me get my refund back. I am sharing my communications with make my trip stating they have processed refund. I am also sharing my bank statement from which the amount was deducted check date 5 april, 2018 till and did not receive my refund.
                  Please help me in this case. I am working person i cant just keep on wasting time on this issue by going to bank again and again and contacting mmt customer care and explaining my issue again to different customer care executives as every time there is different person on the call.

                    I had booked spicejet (Pnr-kgmb4b): flight sg 3562 dated 23-apr-18 from hyderabad to belagavi in makemytrip.com travel agency has been cancelled.
                    I had applied for refund of money.
                    Spicejet has refunded rs.2589 to your travel agency but i have not yet recieved that money.

                    Kindly refund my money as soon as possible please.

                      Hi Team,
                      So I booked these 4 rooms over here in orient Taj via MakeMyTrip. I specifically mentioned the number of people we are. There has to be 3 guys in the fourth room. They took extra charges for the extra guy. But we have been provided towels and mattresses for two people only. Such a huge property but there is nothing provided to us. Neither the Air conditioners working properly neither the hotel authorities providing anything. They shifted our room initially but, the AC's not working in this room as well. The hotel's staff is highly unprofessional. The manager is not available in the hotel premises. Even we are not provided with the cutlery if we are asking for it.
                      I was not expecting this from make my trip or orient Taj. Still struggling with the humidity in Agra. I want you people to get in touch with the concerns authorities and provide me with the best solution. The booking was done with the name of Anil Kalra.

                        My self Shobhit Kumar Gupta, I had booked 4 flight tickets in flight no. 9W-768, PNR HOJTQJ for 11th Dec 2017.

                        Unable to do the web check-in due to site was slow and when I reached at check-in counter before 8.00 pm, the executive hold me for few mints and said wait for your turn even those I informed him my flight timing and I was travelling with my two little kids below 1 yrs.

                        And when my turn came, he said you are late for this fight 5 mints and sent me supervisor counter.

                        When I reached to supervisor counter and got my turn to talk to her, she told me you are too late and why you are late.
                        And she sent me to booking counter for booking next flight ticket. But there I get to know that fight was already full and they cancelled my ticket with reason “late entry “and told me sorry.

                        Is this your new business policy to cheat the customer and get money?

                        What about human being?

                        Are you doing business or making customer fool?

                        I want complete refund and compensation for this mental and physical harassment.

                        Please take this as serious concern and resolve this asap.

                          Greeting of the day, hope you are all are doing good.

                          I come to know about you from my friend and he suggested me to talk to you people about it. So i am writing my issue in detail. Have a look at it and let me know if you need anything else from my side.

                          Problem: i booked the holiday package from makemytrip online while booking travel expert faisal shaikh (Faisal. [protected]@makemytrip.com) had said that if any natural problem happens (Like snowfall or land slides) during the trip then their team will help in any circumstances but it did not happen at all. I was stuck at udhampur checkpoint while going to srinagar due to land slides and i informed same to mmt team that i stuck here and they said we will get back to you in 2 hours but they did not, i kept on waiting there till evening but there was no answer from them, later on, i got back to hotel in katra.

                          I requested to postpone my trip and they were not ready to do it at all. I called to the hotel people directly and talked with their management, they said normally we do the trip postpone as per customer requirement, same i informed to deepak rajput (Mmt agent) but he did not contact any hotel for any postpone request. And after 15 days i got a call from deepak (01/03/2018 11.12 pm mmt agent) and got the response that your trip neither can be postponed nor refundable.

                          And during all above process, i was also continuously chatting and informing all things to mmt escalation manager akshay manocha on whatsapp but did not get any satisfactory answer from him also.

                          Booking date: sun, feb 11, 2018, at 9:42 pm

                          Location of problem: srinagar (Problem was started from katra (Udhampur checkpoint),

                          Date of journey: thu, 15 feb'18 - tue, 20 feb'18, amount paid: rs. 50, 000/. Approx.

                          All hotels except Grand Mumtaz waived off the retention. Grand Mumtaz allowed the postponement (validity 6 month). Transport vendor has also cancelled the booking without any retention.

                              I made a flight booking through your website thinking that your brand will live to up its name and provide quality service but i must say i was proven wrong your service and grievance redressal is the worst i have ever come across. Certainly your competitors are far better.

                              When i made the booking through your website i was assured i would get jain meal, it is extremely clear to me now that you just cheated me to make sure i would book through your website because now when i am not getting jain food, you'll refuse to complete your part of the contract and make jain food available to me.

                              My flight is in six hours but your customer care refuses to address my complaints, i have had to call them thrice, keeps on me hold for more than 30 minutes and is trying to dupe me by charging me extra for meals.

                              This is not only a case of cheating as under section 420 of the indian penal code, 1860 but also a case of gross deficiency in service as under section 2 (G) of consumer protection act, 1986. My ticket amount is rs. 25, 570/- and compensation i am liable to receive due to the mental harassment caused to me falls well within the jurisdiction of the district consumer dispute redressal forum in mumbai and i shall be approaching the same if i am not compensated adequately and timely.

                                The entire booking happen after the mail from ms. Beenu sharma. We had a telephonic conversation with her over call that what if we pay after 31 dec so can this will remain same. She assured the same over call yes it is once i'll confirm with the team and than she called back and given bajinder no. Becasue pf personal problems at her house she couldn't takeuop long and bajinder sent us afterwards mails regarding payment links. This is a complete cheating case from your side. They are mentally harassing us.

Flight - indian airlines delayed the flight and we had to book another flight (Indigo) in the airport to reach on time for our appointment. Indian airline has given documented proof (Have attached) to refund the full amount.
                                  Despite of multiple calls and requests makemytrip has not yet refunded the ticket money. Even after repeated calls to the customer support there is no response on the status of my refund.

                                  Do not ask for my personal details. I am sure with my booking id / complaint id you can get all details.

                                      I am govt retired officer (Sr citizen). You can say at newly learning stage since during service my pa used to do this all very efficientally. I booked ticket for my maid from delhi to ranchi for[protected].
                                      While making effort for return ticket bookimg, it was entered month may instead of june. It was entered[protected] instead of[protected]. Immediately making effort for cancellation, it was showing nil refund.
                                      So i again booked for return ticket for 7-6-2018 with cancellation rider.
                                      Sir ji, being sr citizon and not fully conversant, this mistake has happened.
                                      So i pray for following 2 request
                                      1st is, the return date should be changed to 10-6 2018
                                      2nd is, to cancel the return ticket of[protected]

                                      Hoping for favourable solution at your end so that i may coninue with this e booking system as today i am feeling very demoralised for this silly mistake and full punishment

                                        I had booked flights tickets through mmt. Airline air india cancelled and i was promised refund. Been following up for 4 months, still not received despite multiple follow ups. No satisfactory answer. Make my trip is not able to resolve the matter and we are not getting clarity why matter is taking so long
