Hi, i was trying to book flight using makemytrip app. The seat selection step was throwing error and on clicking ok first page was getting displayed. I tried to book ticket 3-4 times but was not able to select the seat. Finally booked the ticket after skiping seat selection. But in pdf it showed that the time of deprture is 21:30 instead of 12:30. I immideately contacted makemytrip reagarding this and requested them to correct the flight booking, as fare of both flights are same. The customer care team has refused to change the booking and is now asking me to canel and rebook the flight. Reference number[protected]

    I had booked a resort villege retreat, mahabalipuram on 28th dec 2017. As there was death in the family i had reached makemytrip customer service to change the dates to april 21st, 22nd. Customer service had spoken to hotel and was told that they will change the dates. The request was closed, i had called the customer care immediately on jan 3rd 2018 and informed that i didn't get the revised itinerary. I was assured that i will get the revised itinerary.

    Customer service while communicating mentioned that look for change of dates as the hotel is not agreeing for refund which was ok to me.

    As my travel date was approaching, when i reached mmt i was told that there was no change in the dates done and request was closed.

    I have paid rs 13, 849 which is not a small amount.

    Please help either to get the refund or change of dates.

      On 01/042018 through sbi net banking & debit card i have purchased e ticket for going to bangalore from agartala vide booked i'd nf[protected] through make my trip ltd for rs. 7603/- but on the same day my account has been debited three times vide reference no. Lt[protected]makemytrip, inn make my trip ltd red. No. Nf[protected]p2igadgescq3 & nf[protected]p3igadgeshr5 though i made several appeals but till ihave not refunded extra amount of rs. 15206/- even i am failed to have contact directly with your representatives

        The hotel was undergoing renovation which was not mentioned on their portal at the time of booking. It was too noisy entire day and evening and the purpose of my trip for relaxation got in vain. Our whole trip got wasted as no place to relax in hotel during whole day and even you need to wake up early as construction work gets started at 9 am in the morning. Video has been share for the same.

          Hi. I'm nagarjun. I booked my bus ticket from chennai to bangalore at 6th march 2018. My booking id is nu[protected]. The bus operator cancelled my trip due to bus mechanism issue. He didn't arrange alternative bus also. And he told your will be refunded within 2 days. But till i didn't get my refund amount. I called more than 10 times to makemytrip customer support. He didn't respond me and didn't arrange for justice. I don't know where is my money gone. Very worst customer support. I request you to all don't use makemytrip. Waste of time and money.

            Hi,

            I had a very good business with make my trip and was really happy in the beginning. Right now I see lots of issues related to the bookings. My property has a very good rating of 4.6 in rightstay and I see that it is in some 26th place.
            I also see that the property which has a less rating is among the top pages. I did try reaching my BDM (Aman) to get the justification on why exactly this is happening. I am not getting replies to my email at all. I also added [protected]@makemytrip.com in the loop and still no response. I need to escalate this issue. Could any one help me out with the next level of escalation?

            I do trust MakeMyTrip will provide justification on this.

              I booked a hotel through MMT. Booking confirmed, arrived late night at hotel. The Hotel management not only didn't open the door but also didn't receive my phone call. I had to book another hotel by myself. Complained to MMT. MMT tried to conference me late night with the hotel management (very unprofessional). MMT not refunding money.

                  Makemytrip not allowing to remove my review comment which i have given for a hotel. My booking id is nh[protected]

                  Since the review comment is visible publicly in google i have requested makemytrip to remove the comment. But the customer care officer completely denied to that.

                  This is against my privacy. If i have given a comment then i should also have the authority to delete/edit it. But makemytrip completely denying to do that since it does not provide any edit option the review comment section

                    This is with respect to the cab booking which i made on 2nd april 18 for new delhi t1 airport to rajpura, punjab on 3rd april 18 1:00am.

                    Due to non-confirmation at payments page, i made repeated bookings after getting assurance from the support team that i would be refunded for the same.
                    The booking ids are as follows:
                    Nc[protected] - upi
                    Nc[protected] - hdfc netbanking
                    Nc[protected] - hdfc netbanking
                    After non-confirmation of ist booking, i got assurance from the support team, that i would be refunded for the same and i should go ahead with the fresh booking.
                    While attempting booking the next time, i got payment failed due to technical issues message, so i tried booking the next time.
                    And the same message i got this time. But after that, i got msgs from hdfc bank that payment was deducted.
                    I repeatedly called support team after this and got assurances that all bookings are on hold and the same would be refunded.
                    Meanwhile, i also got a call from one of the taxi drivers, for booking id-nc[protected], and he confirmed that booking was successful and he will be waiting at the time and location we have specified.
                    I got confirmation from support that i can avail the taxi service and rest of the money for other two bookings would be refunded. So, we took the taxi services.

                    But i am not getting any communication regarding the same from your side, regarding the refund status.

                    All my attempts to reach you via mail, service requests, customer care have proved futile till now as i have not got a single word from your side on this.

                    On calling customer care at[protected]/8747, my call is repeatedly landing on hotel department after entering the booking id and the most frustrating part is that they are asking me to call again as they do not have any clue for the cab related queries. So, i am trapped in a loop, for which i can't see any exit.

                    Request you to please look into this urgently and please clarify me on this.

                      This is with respect to booking ids nl[protected] and nl[protected].

                      As attached, under day 4 of the initial itinerary of thailand, we have been promised a trip of the chao phraya cruise. But, just a day before our travel, we received communication from mr. Ankit kaushik of make my trip that the chao phraya cruise is not included, and he sent us a revised itinerary. We are now feeling harassed by the company, because the above mentioned person has stopped taking our calls.

                      This is not the first instance of this harassment. We were in fact assigned the contact of mr. Kaushik after repeated requests to make my trip only four days before our.

                      Since our trip is scheduled today, we request your kind intervention into this issue to protect our rights as consumers since we don't know what other unpleasant surprises will come our way once we step into an unknown nation.

                        I recently had an extremely upsetting experience while canceling flight tickets from makemytrip. On 27 march 2018, i had purchased two flight tickets from makemytrip for return journey from kolkata to bombay. The two tickets were from the go air and jet airways. But due to the putting wrong destination, i had to cancel the tickets within 5 mins of complete transaction. The total amount i paid for the tickets was rs 9540, however upon cancellation within 5 minutes, i received only a petty amount of 1451 rupees. I had known before hand that canceling tickets would incur some cancellation charges. But deduction of 90% of the total amount is insane and downright unfair. I feel robbed in the name of reimbursement. After speaking with makemytrip regarding this matter, had informed me that such a huge deduction was done by the airline company and thus couldn't help me with it. I expect my full refund asap (As per the cancellation policy of most e-commerce companies).

                          I had booked a Homestay in Kasauli through MakeMyTrip (MMT) for check in on 31/03/2018 and Check out on 01/04/2018. The full payment was made and I also received booking confirmation from MMT. When I called the Host for directions to the property on 31/03/2018 on my way to Kasauli, I was told that the host had already sold the property to someone else since he did not receive any confirmation from MMT about my booking. After around 45 minutes and 4-5 to and fro calls to MMT where I kept getting put on hold and at times for 5-7 minutes at a stretch, we reached an understanding that a full refund will be made and an alternative arrangement will be made in Kasauli for stay. For lack of any options, I had to accept the alternate stay arrangement since I was nearly reaching Kasauli.

                          To my horror, I was accommodate in attic room size approx 6'x8' and really unhygienic washroom in stead of a two bedroom apartment that I had originally booked. To top it, MMT has refunded only INR 2, 700 instead of the full refund of INR 3, 540. After calling MMT today at around 11:15 and again going through hold time of around 5 minutes, I was told that the concerned person will call me by 12. Its been 1 hour and 18 minutes past the promised time and no call received nor any refund in sight.

                            I am really very surprise to note that make my trip india which is one of the renowned agent company dealing for booking of tkts for air hotel and other agency. I have booked the air ticket for 15th march 2018 (Wrongly) for bengaluru - varanasi for indigo flight instead of 15th feb on 6th feb.2018. On realising my mistake i have contacted m/s indigo to have best way to utilise of this odd amt of two tkts rs.8500 in future travelling. M/s indigo flatly refused to give any credit note and told that you have booked ticket through make my trip our agent we cannot give you any such facility. For this we have correspondence through email before 25 days but on the day of flight indigo company just around 3hrs before departure of the flight contacted over phone when the customer were already at varanasi (Singrauli) and forced us to cancel our ticket for which they informed that as per cancellation policy only rs.1934 will be refunded to us through makemytrip. The said refund transfer amt lying idle at the end of makemytrip agency co till 30th mar 2018 when contacted the makemytrip customer care
                            Mr. Arinav bose he informed that since customer have not contacted as such the money has not been transferred. He further informed that 300 rs each will be deducted at their end as their service charge and on going through msg it is revealed that 750 rs in total deducted on this account. Being regular customer and having login i d in make my trip no facility reg adjustment of amount in my future travel provided by such agency. Such type o[censored]nwanted deduction will only dishearten the customers. I feel regular customer like us are being cheated by such renowned agency.

                              I had booked a flight ticket through makemytripand placed a part cancellation request as vistara airline changed their timing. The cancellation was raised on 6th of march. Till now i have not received refund. As per their sla they had to refund me the money latest by 21st of march. Everytime i call customer care, they would say it is a technical error and i would get the refund in 24/48/72 hours. At least 4 of their customer care executives have promised to call me back within a time frame that ranges from 1 hour to 24 hours. But all of them had made it a point that they will not call me back with an update. Customer care at makemytrip looks like a joke. I want refund of my part cancellation as soon as possible as i have exceeded my limits of patience.

                              I called them up again and now they are saying me to wait another 7 business days. I am disgusted by their utmost disrespect to customers. They have now promised that I will receive a supervisor call in 10 minutes. When I asked for a reference number for the call, they are acting like they can't hear me. No response for a minute and the call got cut. How can a company be so callous in their behaviour is beyond me.

Then when you call back after 15 days, we can say that we will process it in 3 more days. Then after 3 days we will call back again to say to wait for 7 more days.                                 novel way of cheating public through night charges after payment done

                                However, during the travel, the driver ask rs 250 extra as driver night charges.

                                Make my trip india - i booked two tickets from chennai to lucknow and return on 30th march 2018 through your official website. After i made the payment using my hdfc debit card, your website redirects me to the same page, saying the transaction could not be completed and please try again.                                   We had booked for a five day trip to srilanka through makemytrip from march 28th, 2018 to april 1st, 2018. The total amount for the package was rs.48, 000 for three people. Because of the communal tension in kandy we decided not to go to kandy which was our first day schedule in srilanka. Hence we requested the makemytrip agents ms. Trupti and ms. Madhuri to modify the itinerary and suggest some other places for the first day which they failed to do even after one week of intense followups. We finally gave up and decided to spend the first day in colombo itself and even booked a hotel by ourselves. This is just the tip of the problem.
                                  Last week we decided to cancel this trip due to some very personal reasons of emergency and requested the agents ms. Trupti and ms. Madhuri five days back to reschedule our trip from april 27th’18. Ms. Trupti was buying time time from us and said that she has to check with the hotel availability and cab vendors for the modified dates and confirm to us. Ms. Trupti never returned with any confirmation and was not responding to our phone calls. I had spoken to madhuri also on 26/3/2018 telling her about the discussion that i had with ms. Trupt and she also said that within 24 hrs she will get back to us after checking with the vendors and hotel availability. Today (27/3/2018) nobody even cared to update us from their side and we kept calling them again and again only to hear that the rescheduling of the trip is not possible and we will lose our entire money that we have paid. Ms. Madhuri is lying to us that she had already informed me that travel date change is not possible.
                                  Makemytrip is fooling customers by not responding properly and eating up our money. The modus operandi here is not giving proper update and making the customer wait till the last moment and informing them that as per policy no refund can be processed.
                                  Never book any of your trips through makemytrip.

                                    Hi! I have an issue with booking id nf[protected].
                                    I have applied the flymon coupon code foa icici credit card. But still not received the cashback.
                                    Please look into the issue.
                                    The 21 working days deadline also passed as the booking was done on 19th feb 2018,

                                      Dear sir,
                                      We had booked a room at ampa skywalk hotel, chennai on 24th of march. Booking id assigned by mmt by nh[protected]. But to our surprise when we reached hotel, at the reception it was told to us that they are full and no rooms are available. When we contacted mmt toll free no, they discussed with the hotel and after almost 45 mins they confirmed that room will be made available. Again to our utter dismay the hotel team told that only one room is available but no ac and tv is available in that room. When i contacted mmt executive (Ms sneha was handling the case) she told me to wait for 10 mins and she will be arranging an alternative hotel for me. But after that i received a call back from mmt representative and he told that no alternate hotel can be arranged since the hotel is ready to provide us room without tv and ac. When i told that your executive has told that alternate room is being arranged, he told no room will be provided and at best they will cancel the booking. Painfully we booked through other site. This is the first such horrible experience with mmt and was extremely harrowing for us. We were travelling the whole day and this was extreme painful experience for us. We request you to look into the mater failing which we will be forced to take up the mater legally.

Team has processed full refund of original booking for Inr 1951 and also issue a future travel voucher worth Inr 4000/- the same can be utilized to book any flight/hotel/package online through our website based on its terms & conditions. Apart from this team has also provided Inr 1000/- refund in user’s wallet account. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for writing to us.
