Hi,
I booked a flight ticket (Booking ID NF[protected]) on 23rd Jan 2018. During my booking, in the flash add, along with the promocode offer, it was clearly mentioned that 'additional' Rs 500 would be paid back if the fare was paid through UPI. So I paid the amount through UPI, but haven’t received the amount yet. Raised complaint in Make My Trip site, escalated the matter to level 4, but with no effect. The only reply I received was - with one booking two benefits cannot be availed. And the supporting link(https://makemytrip.com/promos/domflight-HDFCUPI[protected].html) they are providing contains a back dated terms & condition which got expired on 1st December 2017. Initially, they promised me to look into the matter, but now they are not even responding.
I would like to know, in simple terms, what does the word 'additional' imply in this add...?? And MMT is not the only site which was flashing this add, many other sites like Flipkart, Amazon also sometimes gives similar kind of offer and there two offers are could be availed on selected cards. Anyways, now they are referring to expired T&C, where at the last it is mentioned that this UPI cashback can not be availed if any other promocode is applied!! How can they send a back dated, expired T&C as a reference material for a current booking?? How come, meaning of any of MMT T&C becomes completely opposite to what they publicly announce through their promotional ads?? Is this not a ploy to misguide and deceive customer. They were flashing the add for 2-3 days during 23rd of Feb, but after my complaint they perhaps realised their mistake and removed it, otherwise would have attached the screenshot.
Now, the biggest problem is the pathetic customer care service. They don’t reply, you cannot reach them on the provided no[protected], such is there IVR. This is absolutely disgusting. I don’t know how such a popular site is giving such appalling service to a customer who purchased so many tickets through their site.
Anyway, I want a suitable answer to my query and logical conclusion to the issue at the earliest as 2 weeks has already gone past.

This kind of service was not expected and we want a full re-fund as soo as possible.
