I tried to book a flight ticket from new delhi to patna on 16th nov 2017 (Booking date) through upi mode of payment. A notification came in my tez app regarding this payment, but by mistake instead of accepting that particular request i initiated a payment from my side to the vpa of make my trip then i entered the amount manually which was 3354 and paid the amount. But after this payment the ticket was not booked. I called them immediately and explained to them the case, in the beginning they denied that they have received any payment, but my tez app transaction records clearly show that payment was successful. After lot of mail exchanges and telephonic conversation, they have still not returned my money.
The reference id for the mail is[protected]. For the last 3 days i am not getting any reply also through that mail. Moreover there is no option in their phone support to talk to the customer care representative.

    Made a ticket to and fro from indigo via make my trip by mistake computer picked up both ways for my family...in which i was supposed to go alone from delhi to raipur, requested the airline with in 3 minutes to indigo on which they refunded my money inr 8769 and provided me he code to speak to customer care at make my trip and also requested for 7 working days to get the money refunded. Well the refund never happened. I called up make my trip and a lady called pratibha attended the call and initially told me for a fine of 300 per person when i softly told that is not in rules she finally agreed to refund but again gave me a tome duration of 6+2 days when i requested to talk to her supervisor and manager she let me hold saying they all are busy... Bust for more than 30 minutes thats absurd.. I dont know why make my trip takes so much of time to refund my own money after their commission settled. Well its 58 minutes now..

      I had a transit in delhi in my international trip and i did a huge mistake of booking one night delhi stay in surya hotel delhi via makemytrip (Booking id :nh[protected]. On the site while making the booking makemytrip asked for my company'e gst number in case i needed a gst invoice.

      Whule checking out hotel refused to give st invoice stating that they will inovice to mmt and not me and when i called up mmt support they said it is ok and mmt will give the invoice.

      Not is has been more than a month, more that 10 compaints on site, multiple calls, request on face book and twitter.. But absolutely no progress.

      My claim of around inr 500, 000 is stuck because of this one invoice.

      I tried to find anyways to escalate this management but couldnt find that too.

        Hi,

        I am kishore. I have made hotel booking though makemytrip and i have paid the full amount. Booking id nh[protected].

        After few days, i got a message saying that my booking was not confirmed and when i approach customer care, they have suggested few hotels which are less costlier compared what i have paid for. So i have rejected the new hotels what they have suggested.

        I have picked up some hotels which are good and the cost of these hotels are high now but at the time of booking the new hotels cost what i have suggested is on par with my original hotel cost.

        But makemytrip team is not ready to book the new hotel i have suggested and they told higher level management has the right to book this hotel and they will call me in 48 hrs.

        It has more than 5 days but no body called me. I have been calling to customer care on a daily basis but i am keep hearing the answer that they will call me.

        Please help me with this issue. My travel date is approaching. Now the hotel prices are much higher and very few options are available now.

        Further, as checked our concern team has handled your case and tried to provide the best available alternate property as per company’s policy however, same was not acceptable/suitable to guest so they opted for the cancellation of booking accordingly, team has processed full refund of Inr 9828/- and due to the inconvenience from our end, they have also provided a future travel voucher worth Inr 3000/-

          I had booked the cab on 10th december for my ride next day i. E. 11th of december from chandigarh to new delhi, the pick up time was 9:30 am but the cab came at 9:50 am. I had paid my trip amount online. When we reached derra bassi just on the outskirts of chandigarh. The driver demanded money for diesel. I told him about the online payment. We got stranded over there for 45 min as he had know money and money is being send by patym then somebody is coming with money and after 45 min he asked me to pay the money and the cab owner told me he will pay me the money online. After this in ambala first the tyre got punctured beyond repair and its replacement was also weak as we went ahead about 2 kms this tyre also puntured by this time it was 1:00 pm and i had to reached
          Delhi by 4:00 pm as my mother had to catch a train. On the return journey i had to pay for tube and after that we reached chandigarh at 3:30pm. The cab owner paid me the 2100 i had paid on diesel, tube and tyre repair.

          In between all this i called mmt and there was no response from them. So, i am calling them but they are not taking my call and they are sending mail that my trip is completed and after that i told them what happened no response from them. I just want my refund and the toll money i had to pay which was also included in my fare and tell me what are they doing about the railway ticket money that i lost because of them.

            This is with reference to my booking with make my trip (Mmt), booking id nl [protected], trip to bali booked between 11-dec ~ 17-dec, 2017, booked on 12-oct-2017.
            Considering the prevailing environmental conditions at bali due to eruption of mt. Agung and also considering that state of emergency had been announced in bali from 27-nov ~ 10-dec 2017, i had requested mmt to cancel my trip and provide me complete refund of my amount (Rs 1, 01, 951).
            Further to this airlines in which i was travelling to bali also announced full refund to passengers who are not willing to travel to bali between 27-nov ~ 11-dec 2017. Also the hotel which mmt had booked informed me that complete refund can be provided without any penalty. (Mail attached)
            Further mmt in-charge (Mr. Mudit kumar nimesh) informed me over phone that local packages which i had booked in bali are completely refundable. (Anyhow i had not received any vouchers also from mmt for local travel in bali.)
            Considering the above situation i see that full refund is possible.
            Now when i am seeking for complete refund from mmt, they are processing only rs 41, 041 as refund.
            Upon asking for remaining amount, there is no reply from mmt, i have even tweeted this matter their cep (Mr. Deep kalra), even he seems to be least bothered about this issue.
            Hard earned money is being looted in this way, when every concerned party is ready to give full refund, why am i not receiving my money.
            What is mmt doing with my money?

            Herewith i hope that justice would be achieved atleast through this forum

            Its been more than 1.5 months now and there is no update from MMT regarding the refund status of Flights.
            I have called scoot airlines from my end and understood that MMT is yet to initiate the refund. Is this the way you serve your Customers.
            I want an immediate resolution for my problem, i am facing mental trauma due to your careless attitude towards Customers. I am asking for my hard earned money.

              I had booked a flight from kolkata to london through makemytrip of the booking id - nn[protected] on friday, 02 june 17, which i had to eventually cancel on the 21st of june due to visa rejection, upon which i was assigned the reference number - inr[protected]. The company sent me an email saying that “cancellation was initiated” and that refund process would be initiated and that i would be updated within the next three working days, which the company failed to do. I was asked to send in my visa rejection documents which i sent in immediately. After sending repeated emails and phone calls in the consequent days i was first told to wait for seven days, and then for a period ranging from 45-90 days. This i duely waited but makemytrip had still failed to update me or even start my refund process. After this period i went through yet another series of phone calls and emails and was told to wait for yet another period of 45-90 days.

              After yet another round of phone calls, i was asked to send in my visa rejection documents yet again on the 22nd of november, which i again, cordially sent in.

              Now this seems to me utterly harassing and illogical considering the company's initial claim that refund would be started in three days and then taking it forward to ninety days. It is now more than six months since this entire episode has been started and still the company fails to refund or at the least notify me regarding my refund process

                I have not received any call from your side and i am awaiting for your response, it's very bad that nobody is reverting back

                To me & no any progress on my refund case. The very worst experience ever with mmt and for refund has been a painful process,

                Still no any satisfactory reply or resolution confirmed by mmt. Transaction copy attached.

                Mmt has themselves cancelled my tickets without advanced information to me and even on any sms alert received by mmt

                (Complete harassment) and indigo, as soon as i reached for boarding then suddenly i came to know about my ticket

                Cancellation by mmt and as per their confirmation i have booked another ticket for round trip and after 15 days past no any

                Response from mmt. They cancelled my flight with no refund and no alternative given also reached out to makemytrip and

                Consumer forum but no help. Will indian consumer be always taken for granted???

                Had horrible experience with #makemytrip.
                Sad we have no strong law and these ppl just looting us, yes mmt horrible, sahme! This is how they treat their "valuable"

                Customers. By doing nothing. Getting frustrating. Help. Action to be taken immediately on my issue. Either initiate my refund

                Amount.

                Reply that for post booking use app... And that app is not able to process my request... Height of failed automation.
                Govt needs to wake-up and act.

My Client further state that the total passengers of the above said booking are four family members including my Client.

                4) My Client state that, the PNR of the above booking was DCYD2G of Economy Class, Booking ID : NF[protected] and passengers name are as below:-

                3) Miss Shriya Dubey

                5) My Client state that, he had booked the above roundtrip journey and paid online transaction and total fare is Rs. 45, 288/-.

                6) My Client state that, it was very shocking for him that the ticket has been cancelled by the Company and no messages no calls nothing was intimated by your company nor from the Indigo Airlines.

                7) My Client further state that, this is a clear Deficiency in Service by Your Company. My Client state that, when he had done the Enquiry then your company had promised to refund my Client money and solve the issue.

                8) My Client state that, trusting on this he had again the booked tickets from your company on 7/11/2017 for the journey on 8/11/2017 from Mumbai to Varanasi in Indigo Airlines 6E-712 with Booking Id: NF[protected] and the Flight timing was 16.45 hrs to 19.00 hrs. The Total fare of the journey was Rs. 34, 177/-. which was paid by my Client without any default from his side.

                9) My Client state that, he had also booked tickets for return journey i.e. on 12/11/2017 from Varanasi To Mumbai in Indigo Airlines 6E-579 with Booking Id: NF[protected] and the Flight timing was 14.50 pm to 17.15 pm. The Total fare of the journey was paid by my Client was Rs. 48, 864/-.

                10) My Client state that, he had requested many times for the refund money to your company officials but they had not given a fruitful reply till today. My Client state that he never think such a irresponsible effort from your Company.

                11) My Client state that, your company had fake promises and fake advertisement about the facilities and easy booking. My Client state that, he had face mental as well as physical Harassment because of your company.

                12) My Client state that, without any default from his side he had to paid almost double charges for the Journey From Mumbai to Varanasi and From Varanasi to Mumbai. My Client further state, your company had cheated my Client because of which my Client had to suffer mental agony.

                13) My Client state that, your company is liable to pay Rs. 1, 28, 329/- with interest within 10 days from the receipt of this notice failing of which my Client had no other option but to file civil as well as criminal proceedings against your company. Please take serious note of this.

                14) Your Company is liable to pay Rs. 5, 000/- regarding this notice charges.

                7) My Client further state that, this is a clear Deficiency in Service by Your Company. My Client state that, when he had done the Enquiry then your company had promised to refund my Client money and solve the issue.

The Total fare of the journey was Rs. 34, 177/-. which was paid by my Client without any default from his side.

                9) My Client state that, he had also booked tickets for return journey i.e. on 12/11/2017 from Varanasi To Mumbai in Indigo Airlines 6E-579 with Booking Id: NF[protected] and the Flight timing was 14.50 pm to 17.15 pm. The Total fare of the journey was paid by my Client was Rs. 48, 864/-.

                10) My Client state that, he had requested many times for the refund money to your company officials but they had not given a fruitful reply till today. My Client state that he never think such a irresponsible effort from your Company.

                11) My Client state that, your company had fake promises and fake advertisement about the facilities and easy booking. My Client state that, he had face mental as well as physical Harassment because of your company.

                12) My Client state that, without any default from his side he had to paid almost double charges for the Journey From Mumbai to Varanasi and From Varanasi to Mumbai. My Client further state, your company had cheated my Client because of which my Client had to suffer mental agony.

                13) My Client state that, your company is liable to pay Rs. 1, 28, 329/- with interest within 10 days from the receipt of this notice failing of which my Client had no other option but to file civil as well as criminal proceedings against your company. Please take serious note of this.

                14) Your Company is liable to pay Rs. 5, 000/- regarding this notice charges.

                  Make My Trip mobile app was giving wrong fare details for a flight from Bangalore to Nagpur on 13th Dec 2017 (timing 06:00 am, flight number 6E 509) i have checked it more then 50 times from Different mobiles, price in the original Indigo website was remain the same while price was keep getting changed in every min or so in "make my trip mobile application as well as website" specially while changing the number of passengers.

                  While price was getting increased in mobile app, the message in the app was "Airline has increased the price" while on the same moment price in indigo website was not getting changed. Please refer all the screen shots attached. This is totally misleading to customers, because of that wrong prices which was showing in mobile app, i was misguided and had to book my ticket on very high price

                  Price of the flight can be increased or decreased based on booking for number of passengers (For example price for one passenger was 3331 and when i tried to book it for two passenger, price for the same flight has become 3830 and for four passenger it had become 4275, within a min.

                  Airline prices can not fluctuate like stock price in every 10 seconds and so

Still we don’t deny for any technical error due to which incorrect amount could be charge from customer’s account however, this does not happen so often. So, request you to please provide the booking details if made with us with incorrect fare, we will validate the same and will process refund of the overcharge amount if charged.                   Prizes were just getting change in makemytrip app and not on original airline website, THAT IS ORIGINAL ISSUE

                    I had booked Dubai package from Makemytrip.com for sister and brother Dimple and Rohan.
                    They had Dubai city tour on second day.
                    When they called up the vendor details provided in itinerary he said makemytrip has not informed any details about you and your hotel pickup.
                    When i phone makemytrip executive they wated their time by just buying time and saying we are arranging alternative options.
                    They wasted their whole day.
                    And most exciting part which is city tour was missed by them due to makemytrip goofup.
                    Thankfully my brother hired private taxi and managed to visit few attraction.
                    Makemytrip should refund the whole package tour along with taxi and phone bills.

                      Booking id nh[protected]. Worst mmt assured service fake people and don't have humanity and don't expect any help during natural calamity situation. Just advertising mmt assured by bollywood actors/actresses does not make you trust worthy to customer. It is better to book from some other agents.

                      It is very embarrassing and pathetic service received by mmt assured booked hotel at neil island summer sand on 06-dec-2017.

                      I was stuck with my family in havelock due to bad weather and government had deported all o[censored]s to port blair on 06-dec-2017. Due to which i had requested for room cancellation and was trying to contact from 05-dec-2017 since night and everytime the call was kept on hold. Finally i could contact mmt on 06-dec-17 on morning in 9am approx.

                      So i requested for cancellations and refund. if not refund atleast provide accomodation in port blair.

                      But mmt executive did not helped us in such natural calamity as govt of india as restricted ferry to neil island due to bad weather.

                      In such my ferry tickets and other bookings from hacelock to neil island of makruzz ferry which were also non refundable and non transferable were adjusted for port blair in such natural calamity.

                      It is your duty to refund or provide alternate accomodation in port blair or havelock. Which you failed to help us.

                      Requesting you for a refund of 12899 for booking id nh[protected]. As summer sand executive was ready to provide alternative solutions but mmt lied that they could not connect them

                        I imran khan want to state that i had booked a trip to thailand, travel date 12th december.
                        My parents are travelling and they are old.
                        The journey date is 12th and still the hotel vouchers are pending..
                        I am surprised to see how much negligence is there from make my trip.
                        Two elderly people are travelling and every time i am following up with you. I followed up for almost 10 days to get the flight tickets. Now i am following up for the hotel vouchers.
                        This thing is creating a panic amongst my family members. No single communication is there from your side. You are redirecting calls and making me wait for 15 to 20 mins just to talk to the customer care executives.
                        If you cant give the things you promise then please dont conduct any international trips.
                        You people dont even know how to take care of customers.

                        That visa will be done by you. Now i came to know that my parents will hav to take visa from thailand airport.
                        Hotel vouchers will be delivered 4 days before, its still not with me. I just waste my time calling and following up with you repeatedly.
                        If you cant conduct the trip properly give me my full refund else i will be compelled to take legal actions.

                          We booked 7 tickets from chennai to srilanka in srilankan airways through makemytrip. The guy who took our bookings over booked the six tickets properly, but made a mistake in the 7th name, i. E. Instead of "srinivasan nellikuppam chakkarapani naidu" he booked with "shrinivasan nellikuppan chakkarapani naidu".

                          We called up makemytrip booking office for resolving this 7 times and every time they say that the person who took this booking has come to office yet. No one is owing their mistake.

                          We are not sure whether they will resolve this issue, need urgent help

                            This complaint is against corrupt practice by makemytrip & srs bus travel that has affected me by losing the ticket price rs.1008 as it has not yet been refunded by makemytrip. The chronology of event is as follows;
                            Dt 20th nov’17: i booked bus ticket through makemytrip (Mmt bus booking id: nu[protected], ticket no: c2fqu8p2, operator pnr: ts[protected]ydth/[protected] for my travel from vadodara to udaipur dated 24th nov’17 by srs volvo bus at 12:55hrs.
                            Dt 23rdnov’17, 10:42 hr : received a telephonic call from srs travel, mob-[protected] in my mobile saying “the bus has been cancelled”.
                            Dt 23rd nov’17, 15:57hr: i called srs travel at [protected] to reconfirm. Srs customer care confirmed cancellation of bus.
                            Dt 23rd nov’17, 17:32hr: i called srs travel at [protected] for 3rd time to confirm. Srs customer care confirmed cancellation of bus. Also confirmed ‘no alternative bus arrangement from srs travel, i have to arrange my travel & mmt will refund money’.
                            Dt 23rd nov’17, 16:03hr: i called mmt customer care (Mmt ref[protected] and explained detail. I asked to confirm in written through srs travel. Mmt customer care said ‘ they will be able to confirm within 72hr’. Complaint closed without resolving.
                            Dt 23rd nov’17, 17:33hr: i called again mmt customer care (Mmt ref[protected] and asked/argued to confirm in written through srs travel. Mmt customer care said ‘they will be able to confirm within 72hr’ i. E after travel is over. Complaint closed without resolving.
                            Dt 23rd nov’17, 18:15hr: booked train ticket in tatkal (Pnr [protected])
                            Dt 24th nov’17, 6:17hr: : i called srs travel at [protected] 4th time before boarding train to reconfirm. Srs customer care confirmed cancellation of bus.
                            Dt 26th nov’17, 20:42hr: wrote a mail to mmt ref[protected]. It was closed without solving issue
                            Dt 26th nov’17: wrote a mail to mmt ref[protected] and escalated to next level
                            Dt 2nd dec’17: mmt representative asked to provide train ticket detail
                            Dt 3rd dec’17: i provided tatkal train ticket & snap shots of all calls. Mmt says to revert in 48 hrs
                            Dt 5th dec’17: mmt wrote to revert after 48hr after review
                            Dt 7th dec’17: issue not resolved till date & money has not been refunded yet. I have escalated to level3

                            I further appeal to mmt through this forum to refund my money, take appropriate correction in system so that customer is informed in written for any kind of cancellation in bus & money gets refunded automatically. Such harassment & cheating will not help to build up a long standing association with customer.

                              Flight ticket from goa to bangalore was booked through makemytrip.com on 24th of july 2016 for travel dated 4th sep 2016.

                              I received a message on sep 1 2016 stating that the goa - blore flight which is air pegasus was cancelled due to operational issue. Make my trip never took any responsibility at that time to help us move to a different flight. I had to make another booking on indigo flight for my return from goa to bangalore paying additional charges.

                              After this i have called makemytrip several times for my refund but till date (Now almost 1.5 years) they have not refunded the amount of rs.5906.

                              They are also misleading/lying as many times they have confirmed on call that they have initiated a refund process to my account. When asked again, they say that when the airlines refunds the amount only then they will refund the amount to the customers.

                              My point is that my transaction was with them - i had made the payment/business with makemytrip and it’s their duty and responsibility to refund my money. What happens between them and their vendors is not the consumer’s problem! Why should they list service providers that are faulty??

                              Makemytrip seems to have cheated me and is continuing to do so, by not refunding my money. Please help me in sorting out this issue.

                                I want to file a lawsuit against (Lalit roy) company from delhi. Make my trip is a company service provider. I had created an account with this company a few days ago, they had promised to provide us with good service and we booked this company for the first time. But the cab did not come from time to time and the cab was canceled. Then we got another cab book, it came from 4 hours late and the driver of the cab was also unprofessional. Then we complained to the company so they he asked us for forgiveness and said now you will never have to face any difficulties like this. His name is (Simran kaur) and (Deepak gultai) has given me the assurance that again i have booked a cab on 04/12/2017 11:00 am this time for jaipur from noida, this time it was worse than ever before, the cab delayed and the driver of that cab was also misbehaviour. After running for a while, the driver stopped his cab in a sumptuous forest, with us. If there was an accident at that time then who was responsible for that then the cab driver, manish sharma, says that we have not received payment from make my trip till our money is not received in the account. I will not run my cab at all even when a cab book earlier, make my trip had already taken payment from us, it should have been an internal matter of the company, which we did not want to come to, and during this time our make my trip also made an item not a phone call from deepak gulati after the passage of four hours and then they are other vendors send the money then went and he runs the driver cab,

                                  I purchased Zero cancellation option on 2 tickets booked on MMT app. While they have assured on their website (snapshot attached) that the "Complete amount paid at the time of booking, except for the ZERO Cancellation charges will be refunded to customers account", it does not seem to be showing up when I was trying to cancel the ticket and checked for cancellation charges estimate (snapshots attached for both bookings).

                                  I have booked ticket from hyderabad to bangalore on 22nd november but amount has been debited 3 times (4005 rs) for one ticket and i have checked with icici they said 3 times amount credited to makemytrip account and they provided info also and i have forwarded the info to makemytrip people but even they are not responding to my mails. Total amount 8010 rs extra debited.

                                  Please help me on this request.

                                    We got an mail from mmt that now there is no charges are applied on flight ticket cancellation, on that basis i booked 2 tickets from go air, lucknow to delhi on dated 3rd december 2017 for 4th march 2018.
