We booked the flight ticket from MMT app and got an error that the app crashed and we had to open it again and booked the ticket again (clearly assuming that the booking did not go through) and booked it again and observed the same error pops up. At this point I am under the impression that the bookings are not completed & I try to make the booking from other websites
A few minutes later I checked my mail(for some other work) & get 2 emails from MMT that two bookings are being made for the same details even though the MMT app failed both times.

Under such circumstances MMT is liable for the booking error & confusion it created thereon. So in such a situation its MMT responsibility to refund me the full amount.

After discussing it with MMT team, they are not ready to accept that its an error from their end & wants me to pay the cancellation charges(that would be Rs 6853 approx for two).

I have planned to travel Mumbai to Chennai on 20-December and return on 29-December and booked my tickets through 'Makemytrip.com'.
Make my trip goofed up my booking and booked my flight in SG 613 leaving Mumbai on 20 December at 22.15 hrs which I have never asked for. I've asked for booking in AI-569 leaving Mumbai on 20-December at 06-20.
I immediately wrote to MMT about it . There was no response and I sent a second one. They replied to say that they will resolve the matter in 72 hours. Till now, they have not done anything. I recd a text message in my phone asking me to call for urgent assistance at [protected]. I called this number several times and a taped message says that such a service no more exists and I should go online and resolve the problem.
I checked about cancelling the onward journey. I've to lose Rs 2, 500/- if I cancel my ticket.

Friends, MMT does many such mistakes in booking and this is my second experience.
You can't do anything about it and you'll only pay for their mistakes.
You can not contact MMT either by mail or by phone for their assistance.
You will not get back the money if you cancel your tickets.
They have a help line which is defunct for a long time. (That means they are least bothered about solving the issues).

Now, I have decided to go to the social media and expose them and also to the consumer redressal forum to fight for justice.

    I booked a ticket from Patna to Bangalore for date 29 jan 2016 on 1st DEC for two passengers. [Booking ID NF[protected]C01 . But the booking got failed and money got deducted from my account didn't received amount back and I raised the complain several times to makemytrip through mails.This is the worst ever service I expected from Makemytrip. There is one to attend call and assist on the failure payment cases. I tried all the below number [protected]. My time getting waste in calling and extra harassment. I am ataching the screen sot of payment confirmation.

      We booked a honeymoon package to Manali:travelling date 9th dec to 13th Dec for snow valley resort deluxe room and honeymoon inclusions.The details of the package was sent thru mail on 20th Nov and till the day we made the payment I.e 22nd Nov, the concerned executive Mr Guru Gupta made several calls some of which we couldn't attend becoz of a busy schedule.After the company received the partial payment the behaviour changed .Mr.Guru stopped responding and on 24th Nov sent a mail that Snow valley resort has been sold out.This was extremely unprofessional for such a big organisation to commit a hotel without knowing its detail.Anyways we had to take some other hotel due to lack of time.After that also Mr.Guru did not respond for 2-3days for which I had to complain in the customer care.He finally sent the details of the package with the new hotel but this time changed the room from deluxe to standard.Before making the payment he committed certain other honeymoon inclusions for which he finally denied after receiving the payment.Amidst the marriage preparations it was a mental harrassment trying to contact this package executive.After so many mails Mr.Guru finally caaled up to say that this is what he can provide.So we requested for the cancellation of the booking.As there is no fault from our side we should be refunded the full amount but for that he is not ready.This is case of cheating & mental harrassment

      It is 36 days since the day I registered this complaint and till now there is no response from the company. I think this is a kind of routine fraud which this organization does.Make my trip should b blacklisted.

        BECAREFULL with MMTFRIENDS BECAREFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL... Last week I used makemytrip to book International travel. a) Final amount maymytrip showed me is Rs 195, 200 for 4 members and I paid that using my netbanking account. b) Then SURPRIGE.. Amount got deducted successfully... but got message that ticket booking failed... now the money is in makemytrip account and no more in my bank account. c) Then contacted them, they say for 2 mebmer tickets confirmed but not for others. They said they can refund money but takes fews days to refund to my bank account. d) Then they suggesting to me try again.. but where is money? At least that should be in makemytrip wallet so we can try again. e) Finally they say tickets price is not correct or somthing wrong in their system. Asked to me if I am ok to pay additional amount to confirm tickets. so finally no option as I have to go with their option and ended paying additonal Rs 9500/- Makemytrips suckes... becarefull when using for international flight.. 100% you struck with them.. as money will be deducted at first place and put into makemytrip account.. FRIENDS BECAREFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL... They are helpful on phone but we end up with limited options.Either select different flight or end up paying more money. NOT SURE WHY THEY DEDUCT MONEY IF TICKET BOOKING IS FAILED. ALSO WHY 2-3 DAYS TO REFUND MONEY. THIS MAY BE A TRAP SO YOU CAN DANCE TO THEIR TUNES.

          On 28th Nov, 15, Through my mobile application, i booked a flight from Mumbai to Raipur for 21st Jan 16 for Air India Flight for 10 am, but while checking out of the payment, i got a ticket of Indigo flight booked for 2 pm. I spoke to make my trip and they said they will investigate and came back saying its my mistake. Makemytrip booking number - NF[protected] Now, when im booking a morning Air india flight, how can i book afternoon Indigo. Air India flight was more expensive but still the fault in t he mobile application im being laid at fault. I need full corporation from you to get this resolved.             Stupid site plz never ever use makemytrip they cant resolve bug and now they r cancelling flight booking saying that using wallet earned suspiciously who said not to correct ur bug u people are so waste that u cant even stop bug after u know and now ur cancelling flights do u think we people r fools? i ll definetly file a FIR too against makemytrip india and close ur company its my challenge

            there was offer as displayed on app banner that we can use full amount of my wallet credits and now when i booked my flight tickets using that offer they initially confirmed and now just before travel date they sent a message that flight ticket is cancelled as i ve used wallet amount which is earned suspiciously
            wat suspiciously? that is refer and earn and i ve referred my friends and earned and booked tickets as per ur offer
            i need explanation or else will file a FIR too against the u (stupid company)

            MakeMyTrip has observed that certain users of its mobile app have been indulging in fraudulent means to earn Bonus wallet money. We have been identifying such fraudulent users and are cancelling their bookings where any part of the payment was made with such illegal Bonus money.
            The email is addressed to you as your recent booking bearing Booking is identified to have been made by paying such illegal Bonus wallet money.
            In case you consider that your booking is genuine (not paid with illegal Bonus wallet money) please respond to this email on - [protected]@MakeMyTrip.com within 24 hours of receipt of this email. You are requested to state the Booking ID, email ID and mobile number used at the time of booking in the email.
            In case we don't receive an email from you, your booking will be cancelled and your account will be suspended. MakeMyTrip shall not assume any liability towards such cancellations.

              I booked a ticket from Raipur to Hyderabad for date 22 Oct 2015 on 19 Sept.[Booking ID NF[protected]] But the booking got failed. I didn't received amount back and I raised the complain several times to makemytrip through mails. They created several tickets and the response every time i got is you will get the money back with 3 to 7 days. but the money never got refunded till date. Its almost more than 2 months still I am not getting any proper response. This is the worst ever service I expected from Makemytrip. The tickets which were raised for these issues are [[protected]] and [[protected]] None of them resolved anything till yet.

                1st Compliant - Booking ID : NP[protected] Planned Travel dates : 19 to 21 Dec'15 Reservations done by myself on 27th Nov'15 via website : Returns flights + Hotel accommodation for 5 Adults and 1 Children. Price charged to me : Rs 1, 00950. Reservation cancelled by myself on the 28th Nov'15 because of my leave application got cancelled. Refund amount information shared to so far via sms to my cell phone and on emails are no where near the total cost charged to me and there is a very bid difference . I am waiting for more updates from MMT regarding my total refund amount.I have raised a complaint with reference[protected] I understand that flight cancellation penalty has to be paid by me. But Hotel cancellation is totally free and confirmed by customer support of MMT. 2nd Compliant --- I had called up MMT customer care on the 28th morning around 10.45 am and asked them to tell me the penalty amount for cancellation of flight tickets. They didn't respond till late evening and that too I had too call back thrice. I have the customer support executive names. I was promised that I will receive a call from their supervisor. But no body from MMT bothered to call me till late evening. Finally I called up again was told that I would be fined a penalty of around 22000. I am sure this amount would have been lesser if MMT had responded to me early in the morning just after my call. Why should I pay for the increase in the penalty fine because of any delays which MMT faces internally from a flight department. I want to know why I am being charged for this delay. Will share the information to all here once I get any updates from MMT. DTNaidu.

                In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that incorrect refund messages were sent from our end due to some technical error. The total cancellation charges for your booking was Inr 23345/-. So, the actual refund is Inr[protected] = Inr 77604/- and the same has been processed from our end in two parts on 28-Nov-15. Inr 36934/- was processed with refund reference number#[protected] and remaining refund of Inr 40670/- was processed with refund reference number #[protected]. Both the refund should now be refleting in your account as per your bank processing cycle. In case if your refund is still not reflecting request you to please provide your bank statement since 27-Nov-15 to till date. So, that we can validate this further with your bank and take this to closure on priority.

                  My brother Booked a ticket using makemytrip.com in spicejet a month back and two days back also he did web check-in and today when he entered into airport he was denied to checkin and spicejet stating as that ticket was cancelled by makemytrip. Without customer interaction they are cancelling the tickets and putting customer into different scenario. He spoke makemytrip customer care and still they were saying ticket is confirmed and you can travel but spicejet saying ticket is cancelled. Finally I had to leave airport and not even got a single rupee as refund. Now I had no other option need to do re-booking with higher cost for the same day. Nice play by makemytip. His travel is morning 8:30AM today and ticket was cancelled at 1:30AM morning. Best part is he was not even communicated by makemytrip for the cancellation. I Pray to god makemytrip will go bankrupt soon.

                    Dear Sir, I am kirankumar my booking ID NF[protected] i have to go on 23.11.15 from hyderabad to vadodara i placed date change request on 20.11.15 for 30.11.15 they says our customer excutive will call you within 24hrs we will confirm you and will send link and you can pay through online but within 24hrs no body called me then i called to customer care excutive somany times and i reminded them but there is no response from them finally 23.11.15 i lost my depature and i lost money and valuable time they told once you given date change request your ticket will confirm but they not change my date of travelling again i called them they told query is going on it will take time to resolve this problem from 5 days they not doing anything and i have to go on 30.11.2015 to vadodara till now there is no response make my trip looting money from public its very poor service we are fools to choose this site for booking my mobile [protected](kirankumar)

                      Hi, I had booked my flight ticket thru makemytrip website from varanasi to bangalore scheduled on 6th of dec. Due to some reasons i had to cancel my ticket on 10th nov, but the refund amount that got credited to my account is only 400 Rs. also in their website it shows refund amount is 800 Rs. But the actual refund amount should be around 5000Rs. Airlines- Indigo, PNR- QCYVUA I have got mail from the airline stating that refund 5900 has been done to makemytrip. but make my trip has credited only 400 rs to my account. I have been raising the request for the past 18 days but neither makemytrip has responded nor they update regarding the service request that i have raised on their portal (Req no.[protected] only thing that they say they will update with in 24/72 hours. I am attaching the snapshot of airline as well as the service request escalations from my side to makemytrip. pls look in to this. This is my hard earned money and i cant see this situation to loose it. Just before raising the request i called MMT customer care but they kept me on hold after taking the details and then disconnected the call as well. I see some hope from your portal to resolve the issue and take some stern action against MMT. Regards, Sandeep.

                        This is Ved Gupta. I had booked flight tickets basically a round trip for 21st Jan and 31st of Jan, 2016 and I had got the confirmed ticket as well. Later, I made a Change in Travel Date and I tried booking ticket for which what happened money got deducted from my account and I did not get response from MMT end. I had made this booking on[protected]. And I did not get any response till date. I have already made complain 15 times on [protected]@makemytrip.com . Everytime I am being asked to wait for 3 working days and your money will be refunded back to your account. This is the reference number for which two amounts got deducted NF[protected] and the amounts are Rs.2781 and Rs.2722 respectively.

                          I had booked a hotel room on 25the Nov 2015 via makemytip.com and when I reached the hotel I was denied lodging. Over and above the casual approach of the call Centre employee one Mr.sushil made things worse for me. I was rendered roosters at 12 am. Request sterling action on such fraudulent agencies and casual employees and appropriate compensation for the grievance caused.

                            M booking rail ticket dt.08.11.2015 against ref no. Nr[protected] but some technical issues that ticket was not confirmed. As per t & c of make my trip the reward back period is 72 hrs( working days).. Today is 25.11.2015 still m not receive any kind of reward and last 5-6 days continuously contact with customer care but day by day they told me wait for 3 days...Wait for 3 days. Please suggest...

                              On 8th May 2015, I booked a flight on line from Mumbai to Calcutta, India.

                              The flight was paid for by credit card (8, 734 Indian rupees) and the booking confirmation was emailed to me. A little while later, I received an email indicating my booking had been cancelled due to a computer error and that I would receive a refund. I telephoned to ask what happened and how can I book a flight and was told I would receive a full refund which would take a few days to show up in my account and was advised that I had to pay again to re-book the same flight. I did so, and again paid 8, 734 rupees 'on top' of the previous 8, 734 rupees previously paid for the flight that MakeMyTrip cancelled. I then received an emailed booking confirmation and the flight went ahead without problem.

                              However, I have still not received my refund as I had to pay twice for the same flight!

                              I was asked by MakeMyTrip to forward the bank statement to them which I did and which clearly showed both amounts of 8, 734 Indian rupees being withdrawn and no refund of the 8, 734 Indian rupees put back into my account.

                              I have emailed many times and made several telephone calls to MakeMyTrip and the last one was on 25th November when they hung up on me!

                                I will never book anything from Makemytrip in future. They are cheaters & fraud, My whole vacation plan got cancelled and now they are not ready to refund my money back to my account.

                                I have booked my Srinagar package (Booking ID IN1511B6S055602) from Mumbai to 23-Nov-2015 to 29-Nov-2015, We board on time in flight on 23-Noe-2015 from Mumbai but due bad weather flight could not be landed in Srinagar and we were forced to be back to Mumbai.

                                Now, since i diddn't cancelled trip, i ask for refund and they accepted to refund whole package amount but in the form of Future travel voucher with one year validity, I told them i need refund in form of money transfer to my bank account.

                                They are not ready to refund money and insting to refund through travel vouch, I checked on their website they have not mentioned anywhere that refund will be dune only through Future Travel Vouchers.

                                In-facet their website clearly mentions following statement in their policy "All refunds are processed by the method of payment used in the initial transaction, except in the case of cash payments where the refund is processed through cheque or online transfer."

                                but still this people insisting for refund only through Future travel vouchers.

                                I didn't expected such cheating from makemytrip for refund due to cancellations from their side.

                                Still waiting for resolution of my request, didn't got any call after the comments from "Team-MakeMyTrip Care" here.

                                This people doesn't care for the customer inconvenience and not bother to resolve the issue. They just comment here to show how caring makemytrip Support team is and will just ignore issue to test customer patience, also doesn't not put effort to resolve issue.

                                Peoples, Please don't book any Holiday package from makemytrip, they will spoil your trip plans and when you ask for refund then they will make you call 20 times and will hang you for refund. It seems like I paid makmyetrip to screw myself.

                                    I had done a booking on 1st Sep 2015 with MMT REF no. NR[protected], but till now didn’t get any ticket nor any refund. Payment has been maid 1522.01 from my CC. I made several calls, several emails to [protected]@makemytrip.com & share.[protected]@makemytrip.com. But no response. when I call they will say it will be resolved in 48 hours. NO Action yet.

                                      I booked tickets thru MMT for which they charged my card 15k, gave ref number & due to system error could not confirm my tickets, from 2pm till 00:50 i have called them 4 times and they have not taken any action to resolve my problem.i even emailed my statement which they did not even acknowledge.worst customer service i encountered, no more MMT

                                        We booked our tickets through makemytrip app on 9 nov 2015 during there offer in which we can use all of our wallet credits. Now 3/4 days before our boarding date we are receiving a message that our booking is done through unfair means so they will cancell our tickets.
