I have booked bus ticket for 3 persons from karaikudi to chennai through makemytrip online on 03.10.2015 amount rs.2100/-. But ticket not confirmed, we have raised cancellation on 04.10.2015 for that ticket. they have assured me that within 7 days to get money refund back. I had sent request for them about 40 calls till now and during my calls to them they asked me every time to send my bank accounts statement. i have sent about 8 times through their mail. I have contacted my bank and they are telling there is no communication about this refund from makemy trip. There is no response from makemy trip till now ( 28.10.2015 at 5.30pm). Customer care also very irresponsible. please help me to get my refund money back.

I had booked a ticket of railway in the month of august of 21 but due internet problem the ticket got cancelled . But unfortunately the amount was deducted from my axis bank account . now i called them 25 times and every time they told me to wait for 48 or 72 working hours. even some executive told me that your process is not initiated call after 72 working hours it's been almost 1.5 months that no one is answering or taking responsibility. no i mean this is really harassing people how much do i have to wait again. the amount was 4212-/ my email id - [protected]@yahoo.com

    I have booked two indigo flight ticket 22nd Oct 2015 from Pune to kolkata and 29th Oct 2015 from Kolkata to pune by make my trips on 19th July 2015 booking id is NF[protected]. i have canceled one ticked from Pune to Kolkata journey date 22nd Oct 2015 on 10th Oct 2015. i have many times follow up with make my trips about my refund but they are telling it is under process. regarding this issue i have discussed with airlines, as per airlines they have refund amount 5250.00 to make my trips. but make my trips is not refunding.

      After issuing a confirmed hotel voucher for 3 nights stay, and offering an e coupon discount at the time of booking, now they are threatening to cancel a confirmed hotel booking voucher, claiming that they had a technical fault. It is a contractual obligation of an offer given and offer accepted, on the basis of which payment was received from me as the customer. The booking ID for the confirmed hotel voucher is NH[protected]

        Hi!

        II've faced a very unfortunate situation 3 weeks ago when I booked a flight from Hyderabad to Delhi.

        On October 2nd, I booked two tickets for October 8th, Thursday from Hyd to Delhi at 8:50 pm on an Air India flight. As for any domestic flight, we reached the Hyderabad airport an hour before the departure time, at 7:55-8 PM. When we reached the Air India counter, they refused to let us on board because it was an "International Flight" which would be going to Chicago from Delhi.

        It was not mentioned on the e-tickets nor were we informed by MakeMyTrip.com or Air India that it was an international flight. After 45 minutes of arguing and pleading, we had no choice but to book tickets on a different airline and forego our initial tickets. Also, we weren't the only ones who were refused entry on the flight. There were about 10-12 people who faced the same situation as us. Where in they booked their tickets through makemytrip.com and were NOT aware that they had booked tickets for an international flight. Had we known that this was a connecting flight, we would have arrived at the airport 2 hours in advance.

        Now, Air India claims that since we booked our tickets through MakeMyTrip.com, so MakeMyTrip.com guys are responsible for letting the passengers know the important piece of information that we had booked tickets for an international flight.

        I had spoken to one of MakeMyTrip.com's customer reps that night and he said that he cannot do much about this. But I disagree, I think it is MakeMyTrip.com's responsibility to give the passengers all the required information regarding their bookings. It is not fair that the passengers have to lose out on thousands of rupees just because MakeMyTrip.com made a mistake.

        I had tried to reach out to MakeMyTrip.com by posting on their Facebook page but my post doesn't even show up on their wall because they have probably removed it.

        In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that the passengers have reached within one hour of the departure of the flight, where we have specifically mentioned on the E-ticket that check in (For both domestic/International flights) starts before 2hrs and closes at 1hr prior to the departure time. And it is advisable to reach at airport at least 2 hrs. prior to the departure. In this case passengers were no-show and no-refund is applicable as per airline policy.

          I booked 3 train tickets to Goa from their site for an amount of Rs 11, 169 it was unsuccessful and i received an email immediately stating that the refund would take upto 3 days i have contacted them multiple times but every time they say that it is going to take 72 working hours and do not have any other information this has been happening for the past 1 month they do not let me talk to any senior authority as well booking ID NR[protected]

            This is with booking ref IN1508B4S002257, I was suppose to get 3 star hotels in all the four places but did not get that in Thekkady. All the hotels were almost 20 to 30 kms from the city. During booking I was told that the cab driver will act as a guide, but because of him we lost almost two days as he didnt helped us to choose the locations.In Thekkady, the main event was the boat ride and driver told that dont go and thats a total waste and he suggested for jeep safari from a local travel agent for Rs3000. The cab that is provided is not at all in a good condition, cannot open the windows and doors of left side. There is no room service in Lake shore inn and we waited till 2 hrs for a cup of tea and then after calling reception twice we were told that they cant provide the tea.No drinking water in room. I called thrice today to the customer service and customer service Mr. SHYUB and AKHILESH BHARADWAJ kept me on hold for 15 minutes each and then disconnected the phone and I was told that I will receive a call from his supervisor which I never got.

              Hi Team,

              I had booked my flight using makemytrip mobile application and applied code 'MMTAPP500' as that was my first booking using application.

              I have booked a flight from delhi to chennai for 17th November 2015.My booking ID:NF[protected] and booking date is 14th October 2015'.
              They said I will get cashback of 500 within 21 days of booking date in my bank account.

              After that I have raised a complaint after 21 days when my cashback was not processed. Complaint ID for the same:[protected]

              After registering these many complaints they have not even responded and told me later that code 'MMTAPP500' is not valid. Also I have informed them that I have confirmed multiple times before making booking that code is valid or not and I got response from them prior to booking that code is valid.

              Now makemytrip people are not even responding to calls and giving me a refund for the same.

              A friend of mine booked a flight on 25th september2015 starting 7th November 2015 for Delhi-Varanasi with booking ID: NF[protected] and applied code 'MMTAPP500'. He has already received cashback of 500 with RRN No.[protected]. But they are not processing my cashback.

              I would like to request you to get me a refund for the same as soon as possible.

                I cancelled my Mother Rekha Shama's Flight from Australia to India with Booking ID NN[protected] on 4th Oct. As confirmed in the mail from Rishabh Arora (Makemytrip customer care), a total amount of Rs 44997 will be refunded after cancellation. Rishab confirmed the figure multiple times. At first i wast told that refund will be credited within 48 hrs then i was told it will be done in another 78 hrs. Despite multiple follow up, It is nearly three weeks now and i have still not received my refund value. I am attaching the Cancellation confirmation and screenshot of refund value promised.                   I have been making repeated calls as the airline promised and booked are different have had unpleasant experience with the representative Mamta as well. I made calls and was promised a call back there has been no call back and my trip is on 29th Oct and there is no news. I know that they will now delay the resolution so the refund is minimal. This has left a very unpleasant feeling and don't even want to travel for a vacation anymore. This complete itinerary doesn't even feature in my account

                    Hi I am Pratima Bhati had booked a ticket from Dewas to Pune on 18th October but before the ticket get booked my amount was debited and ticket was not received, later on it was said to me due to some technical issues the ticket got cancel and your amount will be refunded in 48 hours.Still today I havnt got any type of refund though I have send them my bank statement too nothing has happened.I am just feeling pissed of and frustrated for the same.

                      Dear, Sir/Madam, Thank you for considering my complaint, the tickets for four persons were booked through email id, -elizabet.[protected]@gmail.com on 1st September 2015 for Spicejet in Atindra Dutta's name for 16th Oct 2015 flight, and pnr no was T41PHV, but due to flight rescheduling by Spicejet, and was inconvenient for us to transport a fractured hip person, we have cancelled the flight through mary.[protected]@gmail.com and it was confirmed on 8th September 2015. When we called up Jet airways they have informed that they have reverted the money amounting Rs 39104 /- to makemytrip but the money has not been refunded to the account of SBI branch 7311. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible. Thanking you in anticipation.

                        Company is promoting with 30% off scheme on international flights whereas the maximum a person can avail is only 15%. The offer is valid on purchases above 20000 Rs and the maximum discount is 3000 Rs only which becomes only 15%. There is no condition in which a person can get 30% discount. Why is the company trying to fool the consumers with such fraud offers? A snapshot of the offer is attached.

                          I cancelled an Air India ticket on 16th October 2015.Ticket number[protected] and air line PNR H1CLZ.The departure time of the flight was 1835 hours . I was informed by Air India that if i cancel the ticket prior to 1 hour of the departure of the flight they will deduct INR 1056.I cancelled the ticket at 1631 hoursI got a mail from makemytrip that i will only be refunded INR 46 as Air India has deducted rest of the money and i was advised by them to coordinate with air india.Then i had a discussion with Air India representative and they told me that they have only deducted INR 1056 and the ticket has been declared void by makemytrip.The total cost was INR 13562 and the total deduction bu air india is 1056 and make my trip deducts INr 300 so i should be getting INR 12000 but i dont know why it has been confiscated by Makemytrip.I hope this forum would bring this issue to justice.

                            1) Air India ticket booked through makemytrip.com on 4th October to travel on the same date from Mumbai too Hyderabd 2) When went to check-in at the airline counter, Air-India refused to issue a boarding pass and said that i dont have a valid ticked 3) I repeatedly called makemytrip.com call centre and the people there refused to help me and said that my ticket has been accidentally cancelled and they cant help me in anyway 4) Despite multiple emails, makemytrip has not refunded my money 5) Because of their fraud ticket, I couldnt reach Hyderabad on time and lost one day salary

                              This is to inform you guys that 10 days prior i tried to make a reservation with MMT on their mobile app from DEL-MUM for a morning flight. After selecting the flights while proceeding it showed server error and asked to retry. While doing it and making the payment i see that the flights booked were not the morning one i selected but evening flights with Spicejet. I imediately raised this issue with their customer care. However, as you know they all are relatives of "parrot" and is good only in repeating the the lines thwy are trained with. They said it will take 48 hours to look into the matter and till then they can not help me. I had to make a seperate reservation with the Airline directly for the morning flights. After two days one Miss Singh calls me and says logs say i selected the evening flights only that too with Spicejet and asked if i had any screenshot for the same. That is rediculous. Without a screenshot they can not refund my money. So, if they say such things should it not be made mandatory for them to run a ticker clearly on their website asking each customer to take a screenshot on each step of any reservation. I doubt they have a nexus with the mentioned airline where in indulging in a illegal and fraudulant practice of diverting other airlines traffic to that particular one. It should be probed and justice should be done to thousands of passenger like me.

                              I am sure you will find in your logs that this issue has been resolved as we refered to our "bible" the "technical log" and found correct tickets were issued. I had already made the morning flights with the airline itself and the return flight with an another portal. Hence, you dont have to bother about my trip anymore. Pls find the details below:

                              Guys, Be be informed that i tried to make a flight reservation with MMT. Wrong tickets issued and i had to make an another reservation for the same flights with the airline itself.

                              Approx 3500 were charged when the tickets were cancelled.

                              The airline at fault was a sick airline and i never thought of taking my flights with them. Therefore, i seriously doubt that there is a good possibility that MMT is diverting other airlines traffic to the sick one.

                              Their customer care people are the most helpless species in the world. Cant do anything except repeating the lines they are trained with.

                              Look for better option for your travel needs. There are plenty of option. Dont think of saving 500-1000 rupee and if you do, you will screw up your trips.

                              Yes great. First you book a worng itenarery and then deduct cancellation charge and refund the rest while compaling the passenger to pay for an another reservation.

With my mistake i selected the wrong departure date and i cancelled the ticket at the very next day Date of booking:19/09/2015 Ticket no: NN[protected]. The same should now be reflecting in your account. If in case the same is not reflecting, request you to please provide your bank statement since September to till date. So, that we can validate this with our finance team and close this on priority.

                                  Kindly be informed as I have been trying from last one week to get in touch with you guys regarding my amendments of the dates which I made and paid 160 aed extra for the same. It is very disheartening to say that your organisation have acted very immaturely and carelessly and have cancelled my ticket and after that acting dumb when it comes to refund. I was told that with in 48 hours I will get my full refund back and now I have received a call saying that there would be cancelation charges on the same and that too it is not my fault. I did not do the cancelation or neither ask to cancel my tickets what i request was a date amendments to my flying schedule which you guys were not able to handle. I am writing this with immense frustration and anger and will keep writing unless you realise your mistake and talk something sensible. You have a brand name and a reputation in the market but with this kind of behaviour you will not be separated you from some c category travel portal.                                       We have booked a 2 flight tickets worth rs8600 on make my trip on Sep29th 2015.
                                      We have booked around 2 pm. The actual flight timing was 12.30 pm it seems and when
                                      we reached airport, the Aircosta people told, make my trip website has shown it
                                      wrongly. When we asked for the refund, everytime they are telling, we apologize
                                      as the fault is from our side, we would look into this matter seriously and
                                      within 2 days we will process the refund. 20 days passed away with every 2 days
                                      complaints. No responses. The are not genuine as we think. Our booking ids are
                                      NF[protected] and NF[protected]. The more annoying thing is, they say they
                                      would revert within 4 days. They have not reverted back anytime. Hope everyone knows
                                      they have no chance of calling back. Then how do they say this stupid thing.

                                        Me and My friend booked tickets Aircosta Flight ticket on september 29th 2015 5.10. we booked 2 tickets in the name of Raviraj Chinusamy and Anand palani and once the ticket is confimed, they have sent ticket and mail. The booking time of the ticket is 2.00 p..m. and when we reached the airport by 3.30. The Aircosta Employees told that the actual time of the flisght was 12.30 pm and the flight has gone. We argued with them telling that we have booked it my make my trip and it has been done by 2.00 pm only. They told Make My trip has mentioned the time wrongly. You talk with them them to get the refund. It often happens with MakeMyTrip. They are technically weak with their servers. Once after that we immediately raised a complaint about this. ]We were regularly told 2 days everytime we call them. With in 2 days our staff will get back and we would send mail regarding this. What the mail they are sending is only about whom we have talked inn customer care and complaint id. We are tired of giving booking id every time and explaining the history of compliant. From us alone 10, 000. Imagine How many crores this company have cheated from public. Try using genuine sites. Already a cheating case in Delhi was registered against this company Director. Came to know from website.
