I had booked a flight ticket n it got stuck in payment gateway n from last 25 days i m making a request by calling n mailing make mytrip customeer care but there response r pathetic n even after calling so many times they r jst sending a rply m sorry for the incinvinence thats it /... its been a very bad experience wid makemytrip n i will definetely file a case against them they r actually thniking people r innocent whatever they will say we will nt undrstnd they r making false marketing propAganda for their service i dnt understand today in this fast tech generation they r taking 25 days to make their problem resolve n even if its not been done

    We are 7 Senior citizens, booked for your Bhutan Pkg Date of Departure from Mumbai is 26th Oct under Id No. IN1508B4S477981 AND IN1508B4S387028. The co-ordinating person is Ms Anuradha Nayak from Kolkotta. At the time of booking I had a detailed talk with Anuradha and told her that we need Mumbai Kolkotta morning Flt so that we can spend 1 day in Kolkotta. Till today we have no confirmation on this. Infact your back end staff is so arrogant. Now the Hotel vouchers sent are totaly wrong, for this they say that this is a system generated mistake. This is not acceptable, so we requested to send us all the documents by today which has been refused and said that this will be sent on 23rd. This sounds rediculous and too much arrogant. When we have paid you so much in advance for your standard pkg, what is the problem at your end. Looking at all this mess, we feel that you are not trustworthy and we are not ready to take chance. So you either send us the tkts and all other confirmed documents immidiately or cancel our booking and refund our entire cost paid to you

      Flight was cancelled and i was accommodated in another flight which was not direct flight. MMT not even asked if i am comfortable with the change in flight so i cancelled the ticket and selected the option(cancelling the ticket as jourrney duration has changed from 2hrs to 4.5hrs).It was not my fault that flight was cancelled so i was eligible for 100% return but company has deducted close to Rs.1800.       • Government ID proof of passenger HARMANPREET KAUR.
      • Authorisation letter on which you need to authorise Make My Trip to claim refund on behalf of your booking. Do mention your ticket number i.e. 098- [protected] on this letter. Also same needs to be signature by the passenger.

      These documents are being required as Air – India airlines requires such details to be furnished in order to process refund on the ticket.

        Booked Sri Lanaka Tour . Paid advance of Rs 27000. Due to some Emergency medical issue need to postponed the tour. Informed well in 25 days advance, but still struggling to get refund or date change of tour. They want medical documents in between treatment. which is not possible. Later submitted but now not entertaining and hard earned money goes to their deep pockets. Cheaters and Frauds company and looting money of innocent people.

          An[protected] is my booking reference number for booking ticket with make my trip on 26 september 2015 for aed 365 via my credit card rakbank i booked for dubai to mumbai on 14th october 2015 but today i revived my credit card statement i found that same amount is refunded on 2nd oct so i called and inquired to customer care they said due to technical problem my ticket was not booked and i have to buy new ticket noe current rate of same flight is more than double they did not give any call or any confirmation regarding failure of transaction my money was debited instantly and even got email regarding booking confirmation from them attached for reference i complaint same to cc and they promised to arrange callback with senior persons but never received call this is pure cheating i can provide message that i received of money deduction at time of booking

Hence in such case we automatically process refund to the customer mode of payment on the very same date and further to that bank takes time to settle the amount.

            Cheating by MMT...given different hotel

I booked a room at ST bus stand as you can check in the voucher but when i reached at hotel they gave me a different room in different hotel at different location. Got cheaper one and bad one. This is far from the city. it was more than 4 Km away, even hotel manager said this that getting conveyance is not easy and every time when we needed...

              I have booked Hotel plus flight on 14 Oct 15 for Goa. i had chosen Executive room and have paid extra money for that but after booking the package i see i had been given lower room not what i have booked. I have spoken to Customer care but they are not helping me and transferring me to random department and people hanging up the call. This not what i had expected from sach a big name like makemytrip.                 I had discussion with Makemytrip Customer support on 5th Oct'15 (NF[protected] and NF[protected]. I was told that even though on 18th August "the front page of APP it is mentioned that customers can use ICICI net banking for FLYNOW code" but the customer should also open T&C link and read all lines where it is mentioned that offer was from 4th Aug to 8th Aug only. I have below queries: 1. Why ICICI net banking was mentioned at all on 18th Aug since it was not applicable as per makemytrip customer care ? Is it not misleading ? User of this forum :Vartika_s has also attached screenshots. 2. If the logic that customer should open t&c always then can we assume 1 year from now i.e. Oct 2016 also Makemytrip will also display icici net banking as an option and mention its validity in t&c as 4th to 8th august'15. To summarize it is a crystal clear case of misrepresentation of facts to unethically gain financial benefits which I will not let happen.

                Even I have faced the same problem for Booking ID NF[protected] using the FLYNOW code.

                It is clear that MMT has altered and forging the T & C in their adds to decieve the customers now.
                Its a big scam . They are not fulfilling the cashback promise and making a fool out of all o[censored]s .

                The mistake has been made on their part and they are not ready to accept it . Instead they are blaming the general public for not reading the T&C .SO MANY PEOPLE WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE .

                The customer service is absolutely useless .They say that it is not valid on ICICI bank transactions .
                Let us HYPOTHETICALLY ASSUME that you are telling the truth ( WHICH IS NOT ) :-

                Could you care to explain why the coupon code got applied successfully when I was doing the transaction with a bank ( which you say was not eligible for the cashback ) ?
                In my common experience I have noted that whenever I try to apply a coupon which does not have the offer valid for the bank through which I do my transaction, it CLEARLY GIVES ME AN ERROR MESSAGE STATING THAT THE OFFER IS NOT VALID FOR THE BANK THROUGH WHICH I AM DOING MY TRANSACTION !!!

                Had you been telling the truth, I would have got that message, instead I got a message of the coupon being successfully applied.

                As Mr.Vaibhav Chowdhary rightly points out(in another complaint) the archives are telling a completely different story (Clearly mentioned on all tuesdays), than the one MMT is projecting .

For 08-10-15, due to some circumstances (Medical emergencies) . i cancelled my booking[protected], also mailed all medical documents. we said that we want booking refund, they denied, then we request for change the name so that we can send any other person, again that denied. then we said its ok we don't want money. pls postponed the trip for next year, again they denied., they can't do anything - I have never seen this type of Trip Adviser .make my trip brand is so pathetic, Talking about the customer care -- they don't have etiquette to talk with customer. this is very ridicules pathetic service. 3rd class brand 3rd class service, 3rd class customer care... pls friends - i suggest you don't go with make my trip.. they know only how to make fool the others. customer care no.[protected]

                    This is regarding my unpleasant and terrible experience with the travel agents and bus companies linked with your Company Make my Trip. This is not just a complain, its an eye opener too for other travellers that rely on you and your brand name and incidents like this ruin your name. I and my friend had booked an AC VOLVO SLEEPER BUS(please note-semi-sleeper bus) for to and fro journey from Delhi to Kangra(Himachal) dated 1st oct'15, 7:00 PM bus to be boarded from Majnu ka Tila. But instead of the semi sleeper bus the concerned travel company Himachal Tourist Volvo bus (pvt.bus), provided us the ordinary AC seater bus whose fare was also far less than what we paid online. its not about the fare, for our comfort we had booked a semi sleeper bus for a journey of 11 hrs but the concerned company operator misbehaved with us and told that he would not arrange for the other bus and asked us to get down of the bus if we dnt want to go in that. And mind you, this happened not once but again on our return journey. same atory, we were again denied a semisleeper bus and given a seater bus instead, this time the operator was Laxmi holidays and above this how did Laxmi travels come into picture when I had booked Kanak holidays, , so we talked to the make my trip customer care and lodged a complain against them.. you ppl assured us that our money would be refunded, but please tell us who would pay for the inconvinience and mental harrasment we went through, u did arrange the semi sleeper bus but our journey and holiday mood turned bitter because of the fraus that these company men do, , they do this to all toursists, , I was not a tourist, I am a native of the place Kangra and had always travelled in the HRTC Govt volvo, which has always been reliable and comfortable, so i found out how these people are minting money, , they make other tourists who book seats from the bus counter get into the semisleeper bus and put the money in their pockets and the online customers are made to travel in the ordinary seater buses as they know that the tourists will not have any other option but to travel in whatever you give them. Its a big shame how they loot tourists and other travellers, and this is all happening under your nose, you are aware or not, we dnt know, but fault is at your end too, you should provide the bus number when u send the ticket and PNR in the messages, coz the buses are never on time, , they purposely swap the bus timings to mislead the travellers, , , and did u ever bother to check what facilities they provide in the bus... torn blankets, , damaged seats.. and the place where they stop for eating.. its heights, , such bad food in some unhygeinic dhaba who charge 400Rs just for daal roti, , and not a decent place for ladies atleast, , the washrooms so unhyegenic..its the tie up between these travel companies and the food joints who grab money and loot people to make their trip unpleasant, You should take action against these miscreants who have brought a bad name to your company otherwise we would give in writing the complain to the transport minister of the state and consumer court and we would refrain from booking our travel from you people from now on, Sad.. very sad, , I am enclosing some pictures which would reflect what i had to face on this horrible journey.

Further in regards to your complaint we have checked and found that for booking ID NU[protected] the bus vendor has provided the same Volvo bus as committed. And for NU[protected] bus vendor earlier offered normal a/c bus (bus no: DLPD4488 without semi sleeper) but later they changed it to Volvo semi sleeper as committed (bus no: DL1PC1383 Laxmi holidays).

                    Now as you have already completed your journey hence operated has denied for any refund on your booking but as a onetime goodwill gesture as you are valuable customer we can process a refund for INR 1000/- in regards to the closure of this complaint. Hence if same is being acceptable then kindly post us your acceptance so that we can proceed further.
                    Please treat this post as a final response from our side on your complaint, we are waiting for your response further.

                    I had booked airline tickets. Due to a Web browser fault the booking was not processed. However the amount was debited from my account. In spite of repeated calls and e mails, the refund has not been processed. Please consider.

                    According to my complaint in make my trip complaint section refference ID[protected] From past 4 months i am struggling to get back my Rs 41368 which i paid extra to make my trip Need help desperately!

                    I booked air ticket in Makemytrip chennai to singapore and canceled it. Booking id is NN[protected]. I have canceled on 08-July-2014. Still now I not receive my refund amount. I have attached proof.

                      Reference ID:[[protected]] At the time of booking, I applied a offer code through which I was supposed to get cashback on my booking, but till today it is not credited in my account, I contacted their customer care more than 20 times, and they have a repeated answer, that we have escalated you issue to higher management and then no response again, on contacting again one of them told it was credited to your bank on 19th march 2015 which was not, then again contacting they said it is in your makemytrip wallet, which is again not there, then they said it is in your bank, what they are doing, how can they provide such bad service, completely tired of contacting them again and again, they are not even bothering to give call

Due to change in date I cancelled my ticket on 10.09.15. As per website refund will get in 72 hrs. I am unable to take the follow up coz of I am residing in Saudi Arabia. Now, as advised you that as the e-mail id entered at the time of booking is also incorrect the wallet account would get associated with the mentioned id only. So, please create a new account on Gmail with incorrect id then login in My Itinerary section on our website. You can also transfer your wallet account into your Bank account by selecting withdraw Money button.y.

                          I am facing a problem here with the booking ID NF[protected] and NF[protected], done on makemytrip. I did the booking on 18th of August and 25th August and applied the code FLYNOW, In which i was supposed to receive the Rs1200 cashback. After so much of escalation now makemytrip is telling that FLYNOW was not valid on these dates. But in following link it is clearly mentioned on their site that "Offer is valid for bookings made from 4 pm and 10 pm every Tuesday starting 4th August 2015". Now who will tell the person that it is not valid for certain dates of the month? And they are mentioning "every Tuesday starting 4th August 2015"" http://www.makemytrip.com/promotion/includes/FlightsBankOffers[protected].php Very neatly makemytrip is trying to make an escape here !! I am really very disappointed with such kind of promotion skills by makemytrip. I tried to use the code to save money and now end up paying higher charges with a loss of Rs.2400 !!

                          I also had similar issue with reference to booking ID-NF[protected]. I made booking on 11th Aug after confirming the existence of offer in ICICI bank website. The T&C now available under URL: http://www.makemytrip.com/promotion/includes/FlightsBankOffers[protected].php are totally different. It ssems MMT has forged the T&C after offer period. I even got SMS of cashback processing after the booking. I raised the issue with MMT at various level. Now they are not responding my logical question as below:

                          Everybody in MMT has been reiterating the same statement that I am not eligible for the offer. None has responded to my allegation of forging the T&C after expiry of the offer. I raised doubts, several times, on authenticity of certain phrases in the T&C provided by you in response to my complaint. I made a mistake that I did not download the T&C as had been seen on 11th Aug (Ticket booking Date). I never thought of such complication in this case because I have easily got cashback from other service providers like http://www.ezeego1.co.in/, goibibo.com in the past.

                          In the mean time, I searched the web and downloaded the T&C of FLYNOW offer from other third party websites.

                          Pl see the attached files “Flights Booking Rs. 1200 Cashback.pdf: and “Makemytrip Tuesdays Offer _ Flat Rs. 1200 Off on Domestic Flights (Select Banks, Mobile App) - couponscenter.pdf”.
                          Both the files clearly states that-
                          Offer is valid for bookings made from 4 pm and 10 pm every Tuesday starting 4th August 2015
                          Offer is valid on Debit and Credit cards of ICICI Bank,
                          For ICICI Bank, offer is also valid on Netbanking as well.
                          Also see the attached file MMT Flynow terms-conditions.pdf. Though It is applicable to CITI banks, I has the original period of offer as per following statement:
                          The Offer is valid on bookings made on all Tuesdays starting from 4th August 2015 to 20th October
                          2015.

                          I don’t believe your logic that –
                          -the offer period was upto 8th Aug
                          -the offer was for debit cards not for credit cards

                          There cannot be different T&C for the same Promotion code FLYNOW running concurrently.
                          1. I truly remember the validity of the offer was not ending on 8th Aug.
                          2. Dates of all the Tuesdays i.e. 4th, 11th, 18th Aug etc were mentioned in the original terms and condition.
                          3. The offer was valid for ICICI credit cards.
                          4. The Promotional code was accepted during booking process.
                          5. I even got an SMS of processing cashback after the booking.
                          6. I was 100% sure of eligibility to this offer.

                          In view of above evidences, I fully believe that MMT is cheating me. If not, give me a logical reply to believe otherwise.
                          Sorry for some hoarse statements.
                          Awaiting LOGICAL reply that clears my doubts about authenticity of T&C you shared with me.

                          I made several calls to makemytrip and emails.
                          They verified all above details each time and said all looks Okay and they also see a cashback processing status on their end but do not see it completed. I was also asked to send my bank statement, They kept saying we are looking into this and will fix this in 48hrs, 78hrs, 96hrs etc. etc.

                          And Finally I receive an email from them telling me ICICI bank was not part of this offer on 18th Aug. After repeatedly showing them proofs as per terms and conditions posted by them on 18th Aug, they simply deny to pay my cashback and tell me ICICI was not a part.

                          I agree with [protected]@yahoo.co.in and @vartika_s MMT is trying to make up on this and giving illogical replies, t&c stated on 18th August definitely mentioned ICICI being part of the offer and above links are proof for this.

                          Even I have faced the same problem for Booking ID NF[protected] using the FLYNOW code.

                          It is clear that MMT has altered and forging the T & C in their adds to decieve the customers now.
                          Its a big scam . They are not fulfilling the cashback promise and making a fool out of all o[censored]s .

                          The mistake has been made on their part and they are not ready to accept it . Instead they are blaming the general public for not reading the T&C .SO MANY PEOPLE WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE .

                          The customer service is absolutely useless .They say that it is not valid on ICICI bank transactions .
                          Let us HYPOTHETICALLY ASSUME that you are telling the truth ( WHICH IS NOT ) :-

                          Could you care to explain why the coupon code got applied successfully when I was doing the transaction with a bank ( which you say was not eligible for the cashback ) ?
                          In my common experience I have noted that whenever I try to apply a coupon which does not have the offer valid for the bank through which I do my transaction, it CLEARLY GIVES ME AN ERROR MESSAGE STATING THAT THE OFFER IS NOT VALID FOR THE BANK THROUGH WHICH I AM DOING MY TRANSACTION !!!

                          Had you been telling the truth, I would have got that message, instead I got a message of the coupon being successfully applied.

                          As Mr.Vaibhav Chowdhary rightly points out(in another complaint) the archives are telling a completely different story (Clearly mentioned on all tuesdays), than the one MMT is projecting .

                            I made my reservation (NF[protected] for a flight leh -> Delhi, 13 Aug. The reservation failed due to some server problems. 13260 INR Has been deducted from my credit card, but I haven't got a ticket. I have called MakeMyTrip.com Several times, and they have ensured me I'll get my money back within couple of days. I kept calling them after each deadline they gave. The said 3 days, 4 days, 4 more days and so on.

                            Finally they told me I need to send them a bank statment which I did. I was kindly waiting for my money for another month. They told me when I called them again that it has to be a full statment from the date of transation till then. I kindly sent another document, it was really weird why they haven't called my but I had to call them to get to know they need diffrent document. Anyway I did sent bank statment and I has been another 2 week since I haven't got any refund. I have escalted my case to menager level. He said:

Indigo Airline has confirmed that their cancellation charge is Rs2000/- and that they have asked the travel agency to refund the remaining amount.                                   I booked a bus ticket through http://www.makemytrip.com/bus-tickets from Delhi to Rishikesh on 01.10.2015 for Rs 1996, but the bus agent denied my entry and when i tried to call the contact person, the number provided by makemytrip he told us not to call again as he dont know anything, i was sent out of the bus at Anand Vihar private bus stand, i had to book another ticket which costed me Rs 3000. Next day when i called customer care and informed them, they were saying that concern person already confirmed that i travelled on that bus and they wont refund my money. unnecessarily i lost time and money. I attached relative tickets for the same i have all the recording of the conversion with contact person provided by makemytrip. if needed then i can provide

                                    After the rebooking incident that happened with makemytrip.com which I had mentioned in my previous (MMT) complaint, I would not like to do any transactions with makemytrip.com. So, I would like to get a refund from makemytrip.com wallet, where I have INR 4000. This INR 4000 was a cashback for the international flight booking from HDFC bank credit card. As I would not like to continue making any bookings with makemytrip in near future because of their unsatisfying service. As a customer I would reject their insufficient service. I want to get the refund from makemytrip.com in the account from which I made my payment during the booking of my international flight.

                                      I had booked my ticket with makemytrip on 30th August with INR 90, 799 and the booking ID is IN1508B4S319908. I have attached the ticket where there is nowhere mentioned that British Airways (BA) is coached with American Airways from seattle to chicago. There was no intimation made by the travel agency in the entire trip before 24 hours and also the ticket's insufficient information resulted into missing my flight. I had reached the airport at 9:20 am on 26th september for my flight at 10:50 am for seattle to chicago with the notion that I had to go by BA, so I stood in front of BA counter where it mentioned that check in opens at 10:00 am. So when my turn came at 10:10 am, the attender told that I have to go by American airways and not BA. So I reached the American Airways counter at 10:20 am and they told flight has been closed. After that I contacted BA again and asked them if they could do something but they totally blamed the travel agency and asked to rebook with the travel agency. So, then I called makemytrip.com customer service where the call continued for approximately 1 hour 50 minutes and I was put to hold and had to listen their advertisements for cumulatively more than 50 minutes. And finally I got a letter from Lakhwinder Singh, a customer care employee to whom I was talking saying that they will refund me if they find it their fault. And he also told that the travel agency will book my another ticket after looking into the matter after 24 hrs. So, approximately at 8:30 pm (PDT) they called on the number of seattle that I gave lakhwinder singh at the time when he asked me for the contact details in seattle. So at 8:40 pm (PDT), some makemytrip.com representative told I have been marked as 'NO SHOW' by the American Airways and they cant do anything but buy another ticket and I had to pay an amount of INR 68, 000. And the representative also blamed me by saying that it was my mistake and I should have asked someone about my flight. But my only query is that why do I have to ask someone if my ticket say the 'itinerary' and involves all important information by my conception. All this happened because a small information was not mentioned in the ticket and had to book my return tickets again with USD 876.8 My only request is that this matter should be seen by concerned authority and help me get refunded by makemytrip.com travel agency from India.

                                      I havent got any reply. makemytrip only says a lots of sorry for the inconvenience caused with no action taken.

                                      But i am expecting some legitimate action asap.
                                      As the mail from makemytrip.com shows, I have paid INR 91, 799 but they have given the cancellation charge.

                                      I had never cancelled my flight, It was missed because of the negligence caused by makemytrip.com ticket format where no details about the flight are displayed. I have not asked them to cancel my ticket but to refund my money for the return trip for which I had spend the ticket for USD 876.8 after they told me to wait for 24 hours and then if it was their fault they were going to give a return trip.

                                      It is how the travel agent makemytrip.com make money illegitimately by taking in high cancellation charges and taking away INR 84, 364.

                                      I have already sent a reply to makemytrip.com after the call I had received on 12th oct. 2015. Mr. Prithvi Kumar asked me to mail him the details of the flight that I had booked for returning back to India at Prithvi.[protected]@makemytrip.com. And also added that they will look in the matter and come into some conclusion. I am attaching the ticket fare and mail that I received from Prithvi Kumar.

                                      I want to know that how many days will the refund process take? Its been 2 days and my account shows no refund yet.

                                      I know that all these processes are electronic then why does it take so many days?

                                      Also Prithvi Kumar spoke in a very insolent manner during he called me to say about accepting the refund, by stating, 'why did I again write in the complaint box' making him completely furious. He also asked me to give feedback stating "Do share your feedback in regards to the conversation we had, so that we can take this case to closure." How can a case close without the refund by only giving a feedback. And how can I give feedback without refund.

                                      Please process the amount a bit swifter.
