Sir, my booking for a flight from Sydney to Dammam was unsuccessful, through Make My Trip. This they emailed to me, that your booking is unsuccessful. But FULL money was deducted from my credit card.
I have called your consumer service, they just say it will be refunded, but I have NO E MAIL CONFIRMATION of this undertaking, i.e to refund my money. They should send me an email confirmation that the money will be refunded immediately.
They just talk verbally on phone, which I have to call (international call), and give no written undertaking.
WORSE, today I received a thank you for 'booking with us' email. I fear that they will not refund but arbitrarily book another ticket, which NOW I Do NOT WANT THROUGH 'Make my Trip'

What is an E-Ticket?
An E-Ticket or Electronic Ticket is a form of paperless ticket wherein an airline issues a unique number that you can use for air travel. An E-Ticket will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of booking within 4 hours from the time of booking or fulfillment of payment. If an E-Ticket is required for ‘urgent’ travel, the same will be sent on priority.

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
In reference to your complaint, we have validate your case with our concerned team and found that cancellation was made within 3 hours from the time of departure of your flight. As per Airline policy, you have been marked as no show on the ticket. This policy is very well endorsed on your E-ticket as well. The policy is quoted as below.
" You can cancel your booking by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. If you are cancelling or rescheduling your flight within 3 hours of its departure time, kindly contact the airline directly. Please note that the booking can only be cancelled till 2 hours before the departure of the flight. Customers who (have not cancelled their bookings) and fail to report in time shall be deemed as No Show by the airline.
* Please submit your request under special claims for Non-Operational Flights, Flights delayed beyond a specified time, Unutilized No Show tickets, and tickets directly cancelled with the airline, by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. "
On the cancellation confirmation email, we have found that it was specifically mentioned that we will be refunding INR 274.00 on your booking within 2-4 workings days. We are sorry but we will not be able to honor this case. Please treat this as a final resolution on the case from our end.
