I booked a ticket from make my trip dot com . The booked ticket details are:- MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected] Booking Date Mon, 11 Aug 2014 After booking the ticket I cancelled my ticket within 30 minutes. And while cancelling my e-ticket through mobile, I took a screen shot of the cancelled statement that appeared on my mobile screen. It was clearly mentioned that a total refund amount is Rs 3881 INR, which was mentioned to be delivered within next week, but yet now I din't find any refunds in my account. They have only credited Rs 274 out of 5631 INR. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK. I have genuine proof of cancellation refund amount screenshot that I took while cancelling the ticket Makemytrip.com provided me with a case id or reference id which is Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) : 75105174224000365667566

Dear Customer,

We are sorry to read about the issue. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

In reference to your complaint, we have validate your case with our concerned team and found that cancellation was made within 3 hours from the time of departure of your flight. As per Airline policy, you have been marked as no show on the ticket. This policy is very well endorsed on your E-ticket as well. The policy is quoted as below.

" You can cancel your booking by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. If you are cancelling or rescheduling your flight within 3 hours of its departure time, kindly contact the airline directly. Please note that the booking can only be cancelled till 2 hours before the departure of the flight. Customers who (have not cancelled their bookings) and fail to report in time shall be deemed as No Show by the airline.
* Please submit your request under special claims for Non-Operational Flights, Flights delayed beyond a specified time, Unutilized No Show tickets, and tickets directly cancelled with the airline, by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. "

On the cancellation confirmation email, we have found that it was specifically mentioned that we will be refunding INR 274.00 on your booking within 2-4 workings days. We are sorry but we will not be able to honor this case. Please treat this as a final resolution on the case from our end.

    Hello Team,

    We had booked a Flight ticket through Makemytrip.com but had to go for cancellation due to incorrect details. They assured us that we will get the refund within 15 days which is a quite long time but we waited to follow the standard process. It is going to be 2 months now and we did not get any refund from them. We called them sever time and wrote many emails to resolve this issue and provide the refund to us ASAP. They keep on saying wait for a week or 4-5 days we will provide the refund to you. Also they started giving reason that the problem is there from bank side. I did check with bank but they said we did not get any refund request from makemytrip.com. This is not the one time we tried to follow up with them several times but as of now no proper solution has been provide by the company. This is a very much frustrating support and service I have ever received in my life and I would never go for any further relation with them and also never ever suggest anyone to go with them. I would request if possible please take a strict action on this company. Thanks!

    I got the refund after lot of struggle, it toll almost more than 45 days for refund. Thanks to Consumer complaints team for helping me on this.

    They still asked us to wait till this month end and this is going to be a very long for us, they are not checking this issue on priority basis, just playing with customer money.

      I tried making a hotel booking on 14th august, the booking was not confirmed and the charges Rs. 10398/- where deducted from my account.
      I was told that there was some error in the payment gateway and the amount that I was charged will be refunded in 72 working hours. first complaint reference id[protected]
      Now its been one week and there is no refund. When I again contacted make my trip they asked me to email my bank statement.
      Now I don't understand why they need the bank statement.

      The money debited from my account is credited either in their account or the payment gateways account.
      The payment gateway provider is that third party and is the service provider of make my trip.
      They can get all the details they want from the payment gateway.
      The executive that I spoke to Priyanka Duggal, was not ready to help me in any way.
      When I asked her to transfer the call to her senior (Tilak Raj. Supervisor) she said that the senior was not available.
      When I asked her to transfer the call to the next available senior she said that all of the seniors are not available.
      I find it hard to believe.
      She was not able to give me any reasonable answer on how and when would my money would be refunded.
      In fact she couldnt confirm if my money would be ever refunded at all.

        I was trying to book the round trip tickets from Varanasi to Bangalore for 13th December and return date 23rd december.The total amount of the ticket was 16814Rs. The Transaction was not successful.In how many days will I get the refund? I did not receive any Text message or any email confirming the booking I just got a popup message saying transaction was not successful and the balance got deducted from my HDFC account.

          I was not allotted the seat which I booked (AC recling seat) and was given an ordinary (non-reclining)seat.Despite telling all the BUS staff and make my trip staff (Mob-[protected]), their behaviour was VERY BAD especially the person with mob no.mentioned and they did nothing! They charged me with a higher fare and allotted a NON-RECLINING seat. The behaviour of the bus staff was also very rude and intolerable. I had severe problem in my back and told the staff but nobody did anything! Anybody was made to sit on any seat. Many passengers suffered the same thing which I suffered. The bus no. was UP83.T.3861-KALPANA Tour & Travels. Date of Journey 18/08/14 from LKO to Delhi. Since I was given a NON-RECLING SEAT instead of AC reclining seat and I paid Rs1300/- for it, so I WANT A REFUND OF Rs300/- My MAKE My Trip Booking ID-[protected]

            An air ticket was booked via MakeMyTrip on 15/8/2014. The amount for booking was Rs.1585. Ref ID: NF[protected]. PNR:HBRJVT I cancelled the ticket on 16/8/2014.The cancellation amount shown in MakeMyTrip and in cancellation email are different.Before Cancellation the cancellation charge shown was 585 Post cancellation the amount to be refunded changed to 874 from 1000. Again on the amount to be refunded in the cancellation email changed to 624. Please find the attachment for both the website amt of 874 and email amt 624. After contacting Customer Care they accepted this error and forwarded this to their concerned dept(Ref ID:[protected]. But after repeated complaints also, they on 20/8/2014 processed a refund of 624.

              Hi, I had initially made a booking (MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NF[protected] but had called MakeMyTrip to cancel one passenger's tickets (Niveditha Murthy). I received a message that my request was fulfilled. I was able to board the flight to Kochi on Jul 9th, but for some reason, my flight back on Jul 13th was canceled and neither MakeMyTrip nor, SpiceJet, had intimated me of the same! I had to purchase a new ticket from SpiceJet directly at the Kochi airport to Hyd and was promised by both companies that I'll be reimbursed for the same later. It's been over a month since I've been trying to get this issue resolved and get back the Rs 8, 002 + taxes that I had paid, but neither SpiceJet nor MakeMyTrip has taken responsibility for this, despite agreeing on email, that I did not authorize the cancellation of my ticket. I'm escalating this issue to all possible corners of the Internet and hope that both companies will accept their mistake and refund me money. Regards, Jibran

                Cancellation of Bus Ticket

                Hi, My reference ID :[protected]. I had booked bus ticket on Aug 11th for Aug 15th Trip, but due to personal reason i had to cancel the ticket that day itself. . I have written a mail to MakemyTrip to cancel the ticket but there is no response from past 3days. Its a Rule that % of refund will be reduce as the cancellation is delayed. This is so bad from the company that there is no response for the mail and my refund amount...

                I have booked round trip ticket to Singapore on 12th July 2014 and I was committed by Mr. Karan Anand (Extn: 3484), I will get Cash back of Rs. 1000 per ticket.                   I had booked Air ticket from MakeMyTrip.com via Makemytrip App from Android phone.
                  As per the Offer I was supposed to get a CashBack of Rs 500 (Coupon Code : MMTAPP500).
                  But I didn't received any CashBack, Neither they are able to justify that why I am not eligible for cashback.

                  I have been calling them again and again in a time spam of week and every time I use to get same response "We have raised the complaint to concern department and they are working on it".

                  I had been assured of callback with justification that Why am not eligible for cashback. But I didn't receive any response/callback.
                  I called them back several times but their response was quite ignorant.

                  NEITHER THEY ARE REFUNDING THE MONEY, NOR THEY ARE ABLE TO GIVE REASON FOR NOT GIVING CASHBACK AS PER OFFER.

                  Now, Its been more than 2 months and I haven't received any cashback from makemytrip.

                  There was an issue with app while booking for the first time and the amount has been reversed. Booked once again after some struggle, however I've not received any cashback, when enquired they said the coupon has not been captured while transacting. Ridiculous app

                  first they said HDFCHOLIDAY is not a code then after seeing an attachment you say code was not applied. I had used that code but there was no apply button so I called customer service to confirm . They said just mention the code it will get applied. I did the same and now I'm getting ridiculous answers. You are cheating and this way you won't get customers.

                  This is regarding PNR No CTZZPM & MakeMy Trip Booking ID: NF[protected] ticket booked from Delhi(DEL) to Vishakhapatnam(VTZ) on 19th of this month.I have booked ticket with citi bank card with cash back offer RS 1500 which will be refunded back to my account before 5th Dec but still I didn't got any cash back till now. I tried to contact Customer Care multiple times but no response from them.

                  This is not the proper way to deal with the customer and expecting earliest reply on my query.

                    After numerous mails and phone calls, i have reached to a conclusion that i will be lodging a complaint against Make my trip on the consumer forum and will go viral about marketing the fact that i have been robbed by the company, i have always used Make my trip as my bookings for travelling around, also to add i am an employee at American Express and people here only use Make my trip, However in the recent past i have heard that the company's system is always making errors online, a similar incident happened with me earlier where Make my trip had cancelled my booking automatically, and now an incorrect booking has been done. Kindly assist me here with an appropriate solution.

                      My booking ID is NN[protected] with passenger name Saradhambal (my aunt) who is unable to travel to Singapore since she has not yet received her new passport. I am trying to cancel my ticket and I called Singapore airlines directly and they told me that according to the fare rules of this ticket, the unused taxes (about Rs. 18, 100 or thereabouts) can INDEED be refunded. They asked me to cancel it through the travel agent (MakeMyTrip). However, When I called MakeMyTrip and spoke with an agent called Ritu, she told me that it was a FULLY NON-REFUNDABLE ticket and no refund will be given. She further said this is in line with the guidelines from the airline. Now, clearly there is an issue here and seems like they have no idea about the fare rules and they are reading out standard guidelines to me. I am constrained to escalate this matter at the highest level as required if not resolved ASAP. I asked Ritu to escalate this to her supervisor and she promised a call back from the supervisor within 6 hrs (6-Aug). Since then, nobody has called and I called their toll free again on 7th Aug and registered a complaint on their website (Ref ID[protected]. ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!! I have also initiated the cancellation of the ticket on their website. This is as pathetic a customer service can get. I would like to file a complaint in the consumer court against Make My Trip.                             Dear Sir, I was trying to book flight ticket through Makemytrip from Bagdogra to Coimbatore for 3rd August 2014. Payment Rs.12008.00 has been debited from my account, but I have not received any ticket from Makemytrip. I approached customer care department of Makemytrip, They said that my amount Rs.12208.00 held up in payment gateway due to some error, As per their commitment I have not received any payment. I tried to talk their customer care many times but no response.

                              Good morning, I tried to make a reservation for train tickets, three times but it didn't work! I'm from France and It's really hard to make reservation!! Makemytrip.com charged me three times and sent me an email to tell me I will be refund. The last email I got told me I will be refund the 4th of august for the 3 unsuccessful reservations. From now, I don't have anything on my bank account. I'm worried because I'm far from India and I can't do anything but sending emails. These are the three IDs : NR[protected] ; NR[protected] ; NR[protected]. Thank you for your answer.

                                I had made booking with Make My trip, First i recieved confirmed Bus tickets from delhi to udaipur and vice versa also. Then i proceeded to hotel and cab booking. after booking all this i recieved the SMS ur bus has been cancelled from delhi to udaipur. I called customer care and complaint number IN1408R2F012318 was given and after 24 hrs i called again i was given response u have to pay 2400 more to get another bus ticket, which i denied i requested them to refund my full package amount, that they denied, they said no amount will be refunded except udaipur to delhi ticket fare. and after that no proper response and answer is given to me, now they r behaving very rude on phone as well.

                                Poor Service has gone to worst.

                                  if i tried to reach those toll free numbers no bloody is receiving the call...its simply getting connecting to recorded voice recorder...its all bull

                                  Better i need to highlight in Social networks...

                                      I am Navneet Gupta and my MakeMyTrip Booking ID no. is IN1406B0S062953. I was provided with a Kashmir package. I was happy and agreed with all the promises made by MakeMyTrip. They showed me many pictures through email and won my appreciation. My expectations for a wonderful holiday were sky high. However, in reality I was highly disappointed as I got the contrary of what I had paid for and all my hopes for a great holiday in Kashmir were terribly crushed. MakeMyTrip ensures its clients that their executives visit the hotels that they provide in the package. However, I have no words to express the third class hotels which I was provided with. An ordinary hotel offers so much more. Whatever I have experienced in this Kashmir trip, I informed the Sales Executive department and also to the person who had provided me with this package through phone and mobile sms from time to time. However, I was assured that all will be well but nothing as such happened. Whatever MakeMyTrip provided us with regard to transport, food and hotel stay was disgusting. We were charged for water and tea as well, which are generally complimentary. The car provided to us for travel purpose was fine, but the driver was a horrible person. He back answered us and didn't show us all the places listed in our package. On the Dal Lake, the Dal View Resort hotel which is inside the Dal Lake, had a huge nuisance with regard to the shikara ride to the hotel and back to the main road. We had to pay Rs 50 from our pockets for a one-way ride each time we came out of the hotel. We spoke to the Manager of this hotel and MakeMyTrip regarding this. Each of them told us to contact the other for this issue. Due to this we have lost heavily in monetary terms for this trip. Also, our holiday was a bitter experience. MakeMyTrip has failed to keep up to its word and failed to help us in any which way possible. When they wanted our business, they called me on my international no. (Muscat mob no). Now, they are not even answering our calls or replying to us through email. When MakeMyTrip can't fulfill its commitment, why is it in operation? Now, who will compensate me for this precious time and loads of money I lost not to mention the disapointment I faced throughout my holiday. It is my sincere request to you to help me get my well deserved compensation from MakeMyTrip in terms of the money I lost. Also, I request you to put a ban on such hotels which are a true shame to the traveller who has come from miles away for a good holiday in mind. If you would like to read a day-to-day experience of what I went through during my Kashmir package, I can send you the same as well. Please let me know.

                                      MakeMyTrip only knows how to break the joys of a trip. They should be called 'BreakMyTrip' instead of MakeMyTrip. Hotel Fifth Season in Pahalgam, Royal Dandoo Resort in Srinagar, Peacock Houseboat Group of Hotels, etc. are very disappointing. Do not get fooled by their beautiful pictures on internet. Please make your own enquiries before you pay MakeMyTrip for a holiday package.
