Not taking decision on Kashmir tour packeges and not refunding money

I have done booking with MK MY TRIP for Kashmir trip for Diwali vacation, looking at present situation I am asking Mk My trip management to change my booking to some other destination or refund my money. This request I am doing them for last more than 10 days i.e. 7th Sept, immediately after honorable prime minister declared it as worst ever disaster of the Kashmir in last 109 years. I attempted to buy an international flight from MakeMyTrip (MMT) on 18th July using their website - NN[protected]. The website booking failed. I received a callback from MakeMyTrip staff to attempt the booking by phone. This booking also failed during the telephone booking call. I received email notification that a full refund would be made. I also received an email confirmation that the booking had failed but I could telephone to attempt to create a new booking. I made another call to MakeMyTrip 19th July - but during the booking I was quoted a ticket price of 5 lakh for flights that were previously quoted to be 1.5 lakh 1 day before. So I cancelled this 3rd attempt to book with MakeMyTrip during the telephone call and I received the cancellation ID[protected] for failed booking NN[protected]. MakeMytrip online 'refund tracker' correctly states I am owed 3 lakh in total (booking NN[protected] reference IN1407R1S108536) After 25th July I received 1.5 lakh, but the remaining 1.5 lakh is still pending and "My Bookings" web page shows I have no pending flight bookings. When I called MakeMyTrip in August to find out when the remaining sum would be returned I was told I had a flight booking confirmed. I did not make this booking myself and I did not supply credit card details for this booking IN1407B1S104090. The class of travel of this flight does not even appear to be the booking class I originally attempted to buy on 18/07/14. Many attempts to get a satisfactory resolution via the online customer service portal failed as staff cannot see the full booking history for a customer regarding a complaint. It now appears that a new flight booking was created independently by MMT. And had I not cancelled the flight booking I made on Sunday 19th July MakeMyTrip would have been happy to sell me 2 duplicate flights! As I did not make the second booking myself - and since I have had so much difficulty with MMT's web, telephone and customer complaint service I ask MMT to cancel and return the money for the flight IN1407B1S104090 - and therefore to honour the refund that your own refund tracker states I should be receiving from the company, and to adhere to your published company values of customer centricity, accountability and excellence. I do not feel I have experienced any of these values during my many dealings with MakeMyTrip's staff and web site over the last few weeks. The customer service failures I have experienced during this one booking attempt include: 1. Website booking failed 18/07/14 2. Telephone booking failed 18/07/14 3. Telephone booking failed due to hiked ticket price 18/07/14 4. Refund failed to return the money shown pending on MMT web refund tracker 25/07 5. Duplicate flight booking generated and confirmed by MMT offline without me providing my credit card details for the transaction 6. Duplicate flight is incorrect class of travel according to MMT confirmation email, but has been charged full price. 7. Online customer service unable to resolve issues, despite many emails 8. Failure to receive promised telephone callback from MMT staff who made the duplicate offline booking, despite promise from customer service staff (P. Mital, 10/08) of a call within 24 hours. 9. Failure to receive promised call back by MMT management staff after initial discussion on Sat 30/08 4pm. To others I would strongly recommend avoiding MakeMyTrip for flight only bookings as you receive more flexible terms if you book directly with the airline company directly. The MMT customer service dept is very unresponsive and unable to resolve issues. Also beware of MMT generating duplicate bookings when their system fails; as a customer who is trying to make a single booking you may not see that a new parallel booking has been initiated by MakeMyTrip and so communications from them will be give conflicting information and cause a great deal of confusion.

    Respected Sir/Madam I Mr. Santanu Santra tried to book an air ticket from Kolkata, India (CCU) to Taipei, Taiwan (TPE) on 9th September 2014 using makemytipe website as a guest user but the amount of Rs. 23, 929.00 is deducted from my online SBI account and I cant get the air ticket. My SBI account number is [protected]. The tranjuction details shown as in bank statement is CCABI1BWU589IGZ3293237 transfer to [protected] AVENUES INDIA PRIVATE. I also contact to makemytrip customer care on the same day but they told that they are not getting any fund for that reason the ticket is not booked. I also contact to SBI bank but the manager told that there is no unreleased fund for me. so please help me to get my money.         dear Sir, I am regular user of your service in 2011 - 12 my details are Santhiraj Kolengaden [protected] attached for your reference. I have booked Bus ticket from Pondicherry to Cochin on 12/9/14 and return on 14/9/14 in Hindhustan travels. The charges taken from me is Rs. 1495/- UP and Rs.1496/- DN. at the same time Bus company is giving the ticket for Rs. 1180/- So this is a clear case excess amount taken from me. The amount is for multi axil Volvo charge and the bus is ordinary air bus with sleeper facility.           on 11 sep while i was booking my ticket from delhi to banglore for 8 feb 2015 for some reason an error message appeared on my computer screen which said that my transcation has been cancelled and ill be getting my refund in 7 days NF[protected]booking ref. no.) . later due to shortage of time i told one of my family member to book my ticket of the same date later i recieved 2 conformation messages one from my family members account NF[protected]booking ref no.) and from my mail account leading to two booking for the same travel and the traveller, i request make my trip to process my complete refund as soon as possible and debug their interface so that such things not happen in the future

            MakeMyTrip.com is doing a worst job. I've booked a ticket from Chennai To kiev via Dubai on Aug 20, 2014(MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NN[protected] in Emirates airlines, which is a transit flight.Emirates had cancelled the flight form Dubai to Kiev, so obviouslyI cannot travel.Hence I cancelled the ticket and contacted Emirates customer service and I was informed that I'll get the complete refund back in 15 to 20 business days.As of now there is no proper response from MakeMyTrip.com .I'm very sure that this is going to my last booking that I've done.

            They are now telling me that I just eligible for a refund of just 9000 INR for the ticket which is cost of 33000 INR and that too this ticket was cancelled by the airlines.The airlines has said me that I eligible for a Complete refund of the unutilized part.I'm really fed up with their response.

              I booked the hotel plus bus for manali from makemytrip and i reached manali on 10th sep. After that I booked the tickets manali to delhi in volvo from makebmytrip.com seat number 5, 6 when i called bus operator for bus number and seats he refused for bus number and booking. He said "there is no booking by the name of rahul arora" By making 50 calls to makemytrip and bus operator for my own booking they finally managed to give me 2 Seats in a diffrent bus 2nd last from from the back . The bus was in very worst condition. If this is way you serve. Then sorry i going to book any tickets hotels from makemytrip and i will not recommended anyone for makemytrip.Moreover i'm going to complain about this for sure.

                I Amandeep Singh, Inspector in Central Excise and Customs, I have booked 2 flight tickets for Bangalore to Delhi (Makemytrip Booking id-NF[protected] of 16th oct, 2014 on 07.09.2014 and made the payment of Rs. 3474/- and another ticket for Delhi to Bangalore (Makemytrip Booking id- NF[protected] of 09th nov, 2014 on 07.09.2014 and made the payment of Rs, 3474/-, in both the cases after when I booked tickets sectors were changed and now it appears to be Delhi to bangalore of 16 oct, 2014 and Bangalore to Delhi of 09 nov, 2014. I have thoroughly checked each and every detail on that day before making the payment and now it is appearing to be Delhi to bangalore on 16th oct, 2014 and bangalore to Delhi on 09th Oct, 2014.

                  I had booked flight tickets from Delhi to Goa on the 6th of September through Make My Trip, and also paid an amount of Rs. 15290. I received a message from the website on 8th September (today) at 8 PM stating that my booking has been cancelled and my refund will be processed in another 2 days Make my trip did not give me any prior intimation and informed me only through a message I called the customer care and got to know that it takes at least 6 days to get the refund I asked them to process my refund faster but there answer for everything was that our Terms and Conditions include all these clauses.We didn't even come to know the exact reason of our ticket cancellation.We had also booked another ticket through the same website on that day and that ticket has been processed successfully, i think make my trip cheted us. booking id Nf[protected] Conatct number [protected]

                      Dear Croncerned, Wiimmediatelyh reference to booking id NH[protected] we have booked our hotel on 11th July 2014 to 14th July 2014 for two rooms through makemytrip in sheel hotel Shimla (Himanchal Pradesh) the pictures they have uploaded on the site were very neat and clean that why we booked the hotel, we reached in hotel at 4am of 12th July But as we entered In to the hotel it was completely different with the pictures they have uploaded on the site it was so very dirty and suffocating rooms, we immediately denied to stay there, but the only person who was available there said that please wait till morning till the time hotel manager is not reaching here, plz talk to him and i am not the right person to discuss about it, obviously it was 4 am so we dint say any thing and we kept on waiting for the hotel manager, all of sudden a unknown person started to knocking our door badly stating that why did you park your car infront of the hotel he was shouting very badly on us we just scared badly, so it was anyways very unsafe. finally we passed our 3 hrs there at 7 am in the Morning we called the hotel manager, he said that i will be coming in the hotel by 8am we also had to wait for next 1 hr as well finally he reached and we told him we are leaving the hotel cause it is very unsafe and dirty that hotel manager charged us with the service tax and luxury tax and asked us to contact makemytrip for refund. we called then makemytrip immediately then makemytrip says that plz click the pictures of the hotel we will refund your entire booking amount if it is different from our records we did so. Makemytrip accepted that pic's are completely different but they did not refund the entire booking amount the had cut one day hotel charge from us, but as per the terms and conditions mention over the bouchers the should have returned the complete amount, they had supposed to pay us 7200 but the paid us 4800/ but why. We had mailed them many times calls them thousand times but the people always ask us to have patience and wait, they mentally harassed me, we had to check out the sheel hotel on 12th July's by 8.30 am and we suffered a lot to find other hotel on weekends day, all hotel were booked we faced many difficulties because of the wrong information and pictures provided by them on there site, after all they don't want to refund our money, i am also sending you the ticket bouchers and terms and conditions mention over there kindly check and take corrective action. They have mentally harassed me, , plz help plz help, i am also providing you the hotel pictureswe taken by ownself

                        Sir I have booked my honey moon trip through make my trip my booking id is -IN1401B4S180536.DELHI TO NEPAL and one of customer care execuitive Mr. Aleem khan call me from this no.[protected] and booked my trip but his all commetments& promises are fake. At the time of booking of my trip he is very gentle but when i call him after my trip he didn't pik my call and & when he pik my call & I talk about the fraud what he did with me he said "JO karna ha kar le " . Mr. Aleem khan has not any manners or way to talk. He is the man who spoiled my honey moon trip.He is the man who spoiled my money&time. From the starting of my trip his all commetments going fake, even the Itienary is also fake and when i reached nepal the hotel is worst, food is worst, & then the time for sight seeing the transportation is horrable. Then i call ALEEM KHAN from nepal he said JO KRNA H KR LE... . I kindly request you to please take appropriate &strict action against for Mr, ALEEM KHAN& MAKE MY TRIP . I want my compensation from Make My Trip .

                          I was told that and got a confirmation mail on extra baggage but at mid of journey I was supposed to pay 110 dollar's for my baggage. I was trying to get my problem resolved since 1 month but all time I call and get a promise and I was cheated till day. I am totally frustrated and I am in to a mentally retreated because of makemytrip.com, I have called many times to representatives to resolve my issue nothing is done to me, I have wasted a lot of money calling to makemytrip for reclaim of my money. I have attached the screen shot of all mails that I have been sending from day one of my trip to united states. I have faced a lot of problems since I started the journey with makemytrip. Till now my problem is not resolved, every time I call to one of the representative they promise me that I will get a callback from his senior, I wait for the call but I won't get any. All the time I am getting cheated, the last call I spoke with Ravi Kumar he said I will get a call from his supervisor with in 4 hours, before ravi kumar I spoke with Jyoti.ChouhAn even she promised that I will get a call from her supervisor, but I didn't.                             I had booked two cottages for two nights ie 24th and 25th October at the above resort via make my trip on 31st August by two transactions .Transaction id-IN 1408B2S247291 for Lillian cottage for Rs.16643/- and the other -transaction id-NH[protected] for Mangolian Cottage - for Rs.11384/-. For both the bookings payment received by make my trip. Co-incidently I called the resort regarding my booking. They informed me only one cottage was booked. They told me they had informed make my trip. Make my trip didn't bother to inform me. Instead when I called they offered me new destination and hotel. Why the hell should I change, my holiday plans. All I want is to go to the same place- resort with the same room booking which I got confirmation through make my trip. Kindly help me to sort this problem at the earliest. Thanking you

                              Team, I am not sure how to deal with this situation.From the day 1 when I have booked this GOA POackage, Make my trip is not fulfilling there promises: 1) First of all it was communicated to me that Early Check is Fine but Hotel charged us money for early check in. 2) When I complained for Hotel, Mr Vaibhav (Sales Person) communicated me on call that Hotel change will not be a problem but no change was done & I move to other hotel at my own expense. 3) Bus from Goa to Pune was cancelled at last minute but no information for this cancellation was given by Make my Trip. 4) It was told to me That your Sales person has never committed to me for Hotel Change.Though It was an attack on my integrity I still allowed to Prove your point by tracing calls.After some 4-5 days it was told to me that Call Tracer will be provided by 31st July 2014 but still I am waiting for the same.

                                Dear MMT team, Please take note of this complain about Rs 29098/- deducted from my credit card during flight booking on makemytrip from Bangalore to Srinagar on 3 Sep 2014 night but no ticket confirmation was made. Kotak card trx id - 056667 (Rs 29098 deducted on 3 Sep 2014 ) makemytrip cancelled trx id - NF[protected]as provided by MMT agent) I have requested both bank and MMT to look into this complain and refund the amount at the earliest as makemytrip has confirmed that no such amount was recorded in their system and as per their records the transaction was declined by Kotak gateway but actually amount was deducted from creditcard, makemytrip cancelled trx id is attached - NF[protected] Please let me know with your investigation...                                 At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. We understand a technical error (not intentional) has led to this unpleasant experience.

                                With reference to your complaint, please note that we have investigated the issue with our payment gateway (Axismigs) and confirmed that the transaction was declined by the bank. Further, please note that the amount will be auto-released by your bank.

                                Incase of transaction was done from the debit card, Payment Gateway (AxisMigs) do not have any control as to when the Card-Issuer bank decides to post the credit to their respective cardholder. Hence, we request you to please liaise with your card issuing bank.

                                HI Makemytrip, ?I was your permanent customer booking tickets for me and my family and friends from our site on a regular basis. But the real face of you i have seen when i cancelled my tickets to and fro from SIngapore-Delhi. The ticket was worth of 587 sgd. The total refund amount was told to be 494 sgd after cancellation charges of 97 sgd. But the amount returned to me was 452 sgd only and that too after lot of troubles. The remaining 42 sgd was told by customer team memberes initialy it was showing in system and later they told no such amount exists. After repeated calls to your customer care the same answer " give us 10 days to look into the matter, we raised the concern with accounts department". No reply from ur team then.MY booking id is -- SN[protected]ticket was booked for indigo airlines. Indigo airlines pnr number -- K93D5D. ???Indigo is saying they returned all the money on 24th september, 2104 itself.??Did you people have even 1% ethics left in business. You are just robbing innocent customers.??I will highly recommend people not to book any ticket from this agency. They r bunch of theifs and liars. ?Thanks, Sudhanshu

                                  I wanted to book a customised package for Singapore and other destination for which i contacted Make my trip in the 3rd week (approx date) of August. My case was taken up by their advisor Ms. Megha Biswas and i was assured that i will get the itenary by the same day in the evening. Even after repeatative follow ups via social media make my trip did not make an effort to work on my query. Later this case was taken up by other advisor Mr. Anuj srivastav but it was the same case here. he did submit an itenary to me but it was incorrect. I requested for correction but the delivery timelines were not met. Due to this delay the i have to pay more for the airline cost and the hotels which i wanted to book are unavialable. I request you to take the needful action as this process as wasted my time and money.

He is requesting for bank details and atm transaction number. Once this is shared he will deposite money for faulty repair. can any 1 has similar experiance

                                      Hi, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I had made a Hotel booking through MakemyTrip for a well planned trip to Chickmagalur on 15th August 2014. The booking details is as below. 路 MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NH[protected] 路 Booking Date: Fri, 08 Aug '14, 14:15 hrs 路 Total Amount: Rs 4277 路 Hotel : Hotel Benaka Residency, KM Road, CHIKMAGALUR Ph no : [protected] / [protected] 路 Room Details : 3 Rooms The hotel booking was confirmed and we were not required to contact either the hotel or MakeMyTrip to confirm the same (in mail sent byMakeMyTrip). However when we reached the hotel on 15th August at 8 PM, the hotel administration, refused accepting that any such booking was done in their hotel from MakeMyTrip. On contacting the MakeMyTrip official through customer care, they spoke with the hotel administration and confirmed that the booking was done. This went on for the next 4 hours and we were left stranded with no hotels and feeling hopeless. We were 6 working professionals, who had managed time with the intent of a good vacation. But by this time we were mentally drained out and all our plans of a good vacation were completely ruined by the Benaka HotelAdministration and MakeMyTrip. On top of that, the Hotel administration was makingbaseless requests to sleep on the floor which we rightfully declined. At midnight, two officials from MakeMyTrip ( Harpreet Singhand Kamal ) talked with their senior management and promised to provide accommodation in some other hotels in nearly area and would give us a call back for the same. However they did not give any call back, and we were left all by ourselves homeless in the middle of the night (1 AM ), completely clueless where to spend the night. In the end we spend the entire night on the streets with no option left. On a personal note it was greatly embarrassing and mentally torturing, as I had promised a good weekend vacation for my friends who had managed time from their busy schedule. And that was completely ruined thanks to MakeMyTrip and Benaka Hotel Administration.
