I wanted to book a customised package for Singapore and other destination for which i contacted Make my trip in the 3rd week (approx date) of August. My case was taken up by their advisor Ms. Megha Biswas and i was assured that i will get the itenary by the same day in the evening. Even after repeatative follow ups via social media make my trip did not make an effort to work on my query. Later this case was taken up by other advisor Mr. Anuj srivastav but it was the same case here. he did submit an itenary to me but it was incorrect. I requested for correction but the delivery timelines were not met. Due to this delay the i have to pay more for the airline cost and the hotels which i wanted to book are unavialable. I request you to take the needful action as this process as wasted my time and money.

i have compliant on my samsung tv, similar call i have received from anuj srivastav who claims himself to be samsung technician. He is requesting for bank details and atm transaction number. Once this is shared he will deposite money for faulty repair. can any 1 has similar experiance

      Hi, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I had made a Hotel booking through MakemyTrip for a well planned trip to Chickmagalur on 15th August 2014. The booking details is as below. · MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NH[protected] · Booking Date: Fri, 08 Aug '14, 14:15 hrs · Total Amount: Rs 4277 · Hotel : Hotel Benaka Residency, KM Road, CHIKMAGALUR Ph no : [protected] / [protected] · Room Details : 3 Rooms The hotel booking was confirmed and we were not required to contact either the hotel or MakeMyTrip to confirm the same (in mail sent byMakeMyTrip). However when we reached the hotel on 15th August at 8 PM, the hotel administration, refused accepting that any such booking was done in their hotel from MakeMyTrip. On contacting the MakeMyTrip official through customer care, they spoke with the hotel administration and confirmed that the booking was done. This went on for the next 4 hours and we were left stranded with no hotels and feeling hopeless. We were 6 working professionals, who had managed time with the intent of a good vacation. But by this time we were mentally drained out and all our plans of a good vacation were completely ruined by the Benaka HotelAdministration and MakeMyTrip. On top of that, the Hotel administration was makingbaseless requests to sleep on the floor which we rightfully declined. At midnight, two officials from MakeMyTrip ( Harpreet Singhand Kamal ) talked with their senior management and promised to provide accommodation in some other hotels in nearly area and would give us a call back for the same. However they did not give any call back, and we were left all by ourselves homeless in the middle of the night (1 AM ), completely clueless where to spend the night. In the end we spend the entire night on the streets with no option left. On a personal note it was greatly embarrassing and mentally torturing, as I had promised a good weekend vacation for my friends who had managed time from their busy schedule. And that was completely ruined thanks to MakeMyTrip and Benaka Hotel Administration.

        MakeMyTrip.com is living upto their caption – Memories Unlimited. They have been making my memories Unlimited ( worst in my case). Narrating a worst experience with so called No-1 Travel site in India. I booked Flight from makemytrip on 2nd Aug’2014 for nov-Dec’14 to be part of my brother’s wedding. The Flight timing was, departure at 11:15 am from Bangalore (27th Nov ) to arrival in Indore at 1:10pm. From there, I was to board train at 4pm (keeping gap of close to 3 hours after arriving Indore) for Kota, my native place. After 4 days, I got SMS from makemytrip.com stating that there is change in my Iternary. I got in touch with MakeMyTrip.com customer care ( this too is pathetic as it takes 15 minutes minimum to connect to Customer care executive ). They said that my flight timings are changed and now I would reach Indore at 4:15 pm instead of 1:10pm. They gave me two options: - Accept this flight - Get refund for this journey. In this way, I would surely miss the connecting train to Kota which is at 4pm from Indore. This is the last train for Kota for the day. I told the same things to makemytrip executive that since I don’t know anyone in Indore, it would be hard on me to stay in Indore along with my family and I would surely miss my Brother’s wedding. I can not afford to get refund as the fare for same period has shoot up by 50% by the time they gave me this offer. They just said that they cannot do anything. Its been a month with constant follow up without a single reply. Is this the way such brands with proclaim to be No-1 Travel site, perform their duty post sale? I expected that they should provide me a hassle-free journey, however, I have been harassed with such a hazard in their functioning. I do not know how DGCA allows such sites without proper checking on the way they conduct themselves.

          Hi Team, I have booked a ticket from Siddapur to Bangalore on 24th Jul for ( DO J : 31st Aug). Amount of 1740 has been deducted from my account but, I did not get my booking done. Attached is the screen shot of the bank transacton. I did not get Booking ID generated in my account, in makemytrip .com Please help me in getting my money refunded. Regads, Prajna Hegde

It will take 5 hours from allepey to cochin so I was offered first and last night in cochin instead of first 2 nights so that I don’t miss my flight I can understand that But then I have 19 in saj earth resort and 23 in quality hotel in cochin This was never discussed and this is not the ittenery that I had accepted before making the payment Why do I have 2 different hotels in the same city when I had specificaly asked for Saj earth resort? you have never mentioned the name of quality hotel to me. Yes you had sent me an email but what we agreed upon on the phone was totally different from what you made me pay for. If you listen to my calls with aurbind and read the email he sent me you will know that I was actually promised saj earth resort for the first 2 nights till 15 minutes before I made the payment. Sir, I trusted Aurbind like a dear friend and I have referred him to my best friend and my one and only brother-in-law for their honeymoon package he is more than customer care agent to me but now I feel he has cheated me.               Hi, This is in regards to the booking made on the Make My Trip website for my Family. On the 15th AUG 2014 I was making a booking for my family. Since I have recently moved to Bangalore from Chandigarh I wanted my family to come and visit me over in the month in Oct. I wanted to make 3 booking’s for my Father, Mother & Sister since all 3 are living in 3 different parts of the country and we always get together during the Festive season. 1. My Sister Saloni Sondhi from Delhi – Bangalore (Round Trip). - NF[protected]Incorrect Booking) & NF[protected]Correct Booking) 2. My Mother Neelam Sondhi from Chandigarh – Bangalore (Round Trip). - NF[protected] 3. My Father Karan Sondhi from Patna – Bangalore (Round Trip). - NF[protected] Now the problem is that I first made the booking for my sister from Delhi to Bangalore (Round Trip), I first attempted to make the booking as following : a. New Delhi And NCR - Bangalore | Wed, 22 October 14, 09:35 hrs b. Bangalore - New Delhi And NCR | Tue, 28 October 14, 09:50 hrs While making this booking post putting my Credit Card details the Website returned with an error “Server Error – Booking Canceled” which means that the booking did not go through at around Fri 8/15/2014 10:49 PM, now since this did not go through in the 1st instance so I re-attempted to make the same booking once again. However this time the same return flight was not showing up so I checked for the closest return flight similar to the 1st attempt and I attempted and for the following booking at Fri 8/15/2014 10:53 PM which is exactly 4 mins post my first attempt : c. New Delhi And NCR - Bangalore | Wed, 22 October 14, 09:35 hrs d. Bangalore - New Delhi And NCR | Mon, 27 October 14, 22:40 hrs Now this time the same flight returned with the confirmed booking and I was happy to have booked the 1st flight. Post this I also had to make the booking for my Parents for which I did not have any problem. Now while the rest of the 2 booking which were at around : 1. Fri 8/15/2014 10:59 PM : NF[protected] 2. Fri 8/15/2014 11:32 PM : NF[protected] Post I finished making all the booking I checked my Cellphone and found that the Credit Card was already charged for 4 Booking instead of 3 bookings. And the flight for my sister from Delhi-Bangalore was booked twice. And for the same Passenger Saloni Sondhi I had 2 bookings charged twice respectively : 1. NF[protected] : Rs 5, 950 2. NF[protected] : Rs 5, 052 I immediately called the Make My Trip Telephone Support on 15th AUG 2014 11:45PM which took me 40 mins to connect at midnight, image the aggravation I would have to go through that when the website said that the booking has failed then how did the Credit Card get charged. I spoke to a representative who said that he has made a note of my complaint and gave me my complaint # as[protected] saying that it would take at least 4 working days to revert post getting escalated and since 15th AUG was a Friday the 4 days would start post Monday which meant I had to wait for at least another 7 days to have a revert. Which I agreed to understanding that this is the process and I would follow the protocol. The Agent assured that since the booking is for the same Passenger name and same date of travel thus there should not be any problem and the refund for the NF[protected] would go through, and he confirmed that the refund would be 100% since it’s a duplicate booking. I also emphasized saying that I am immediately calling just because I wanted to ensure that this is technical glitch due to which this has happened thus it should not be taking a beating of me. However I received a mail on Thu 8/21/2014 11:17 AM, stating that “Please note that we are looking into this matter and shall revert to you in 3 working days. We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to delay at our end.” And excitingly I just noted while tying this mail that the complaint # on the mail was different from the one provided to me on the call the other day Ref ID :[protected]. Anyways I again gave it time to wait since the agent I spoke to said that any ways the booking is for Oct so there is enough time. I had recently moved to Bangalore and had my self over occupied with settling my house and work. I work with Dell as a Senior Manager with India Technical Support and had been busy with lot of meetings and other work so was unfortunately not able to follow up on the same for quite a few days. Also with the assurance that since this is a Technical Glitch and MMT is a professional organization it would treat the honesty on the situation. I called MMT again on the 28th AUG 2014 4:46PM and spoke to Sumit from your telephone support and it was on my 4th attempt that I was able to reach him after been disconnected by other agents on my previous 3 attempts. Now interestingly I spoke to Sumit and he said that the complaint has been taken however the complaint has not been forwarded to the correct deptt, this came as a big surprise to me that after 13 days of me giving you the time to rectify my problem still the problem is at ground zero. I told him that how can I trust that this time he is going to forward my complain to the correct dept. He was really nice in his comm skills and giving me all the empathy and accountability however when I asked him to make me speak to his supervisor he denied me from giving the call to the supervisor. However assuring that he will forward my complain to the correct department and he would have a call back arranged for me the same day by the escalating team or his supervisor. Again no call back was received by me. Next Day on the 29th AUG 2014 5:00PM I again called back since I did not receive any call back and again after getting disconnected 3 to 4 times I got connected to Sabita who was generous enough to at least speak to me and listen to my complaint. But again to my surprise she had no information about my complain made on the 15th AUG 2014. We had a conversation for at least 40 mins during which she said to me that my complain cannot be through as I had made a different return ticket. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN AGAIN THAT WHY WOULD I MAKE A BOOKING FOR A SAME PASSANGER “SALONI SONDHI” FOR THE SAME FLIGHT THE SAME DAY, I AM NOT THAT I WOULD BOOK 2 TICKETS FOR THE SAME NAME, SHE DOES NOT NEED TWO TICKETS TO TRAVEL IN A SINGLE FLIGHT. When I again requested for a supervisor she said that he would say the same thing to me and trust me it is a very sick and very unprofessional customer service that when a customer is requesting to speak to a senior no one has allowed me to speak to a senior and until now I am not able to give my option to anyone in a higher position. Post this she placed my call on hold saying that she is arranging for a supervisor and after 15 mins of hold the line again gets disconnected and no body call me back. Now this is where the entire conversation got ugly when she started blaming me for the same mistake and accused me to be smart to make a change in the booking, she said that the email was sent before. That is when I really opened my Outlook to check the mail and again found that the mail for the booking that I had first attempted which gave me an error was sent later post the second booking which was successful : 1. E-Ticket & Invoice for your DEL-BLR-DEL trip starting 22 Oct for Booking ID NF[protected] : Mail received on Fri 8/15/2014 10:55 PM 2. E-Ticket & Invoice for your DEL-BLR-DEL trip starting 22 Oct for Booking ID NF[protected] : Mail received on Fri 8/15/2014 11:00 PM. (Incorrect booking) I SO MUCH TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO HER THAT MY IF I KNEW THAT THE BOOKING IS THROUGH WHY WOULD I MAKE ANOTHER BOOKING FOR THE SAME PERSON IN THE SAME FLIGHT. BEING HONESTLY SPEAKING THAT WHEN A CUSTOMER IS GENUNILY TRYING TO PUT HIS PRESPECTIVE THE COMPANY CANNOT SIMPY TRY TO BE SMART BY SAYING THAT THE RETURN FLIGHT HAS CHANGED AND NOT AGREE TO WHAT I A FACED AS A PROBLEM. I AM ONCE AGAIN EXPLAINING THAT WHEN I WAS MAKING THE BOOKING I GOT AN ERROR ON THE WEBSITE STATING “Server Error – Booking Canceled” AND THUS I MADE ANOTHER BOOKING AT THAT POINT THE BOOKING WENT THROUGH. CORRECT BOOKING : NF[protected] : Rs 5, 052 INCORRECT BOOKING : NF[protected] : Rs 5, 950 I WOULD REQUEST ONCE AGAIN TO KINDLY PROVIDE FULL REFUND FOR THE BOOKING NF[protected]. If this matter is not sorted I would have to take the pain to have this go the legal way and my lawyer would file a complaint in the consumer court.                 Dear concerned, i had booked a ticket on makemytrip mobile application and was promised a Rs. 1200 cash back without any terms and conditions if I use the hdfc credit card. I used the same and put the right code also, now when i have recieved my this months credit card statement without the cashback being credited to my account. the makemytrip.com is refusing give any answers to me inspite of calling them as well as writing on their official website as well.. The booking reference is NF[protected] and the reference ID for the communication with the makemytrip.com group is[protected] the point to note is that i could have booked the tickets on other websites at lesser prices and was misled into booking through makemytrip.com with this cash back offer. This is the second time that the same has happened to me now. I suspect now that this group is misleading the general public on the same. Request your help in the same ..

This is very sore and unacceptable experience for me with makemytrip and I regret to say that this is not the first time, previously too we got stuck into same situation due to your unreliable service.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /&gt; I want to let you know the briefing of this journey: · Got confirmation on same day of booking i.e. 13th Aug 14 that booking is confirmed and no need to contact hotel or makemytrip · On 14th Aug 14, got a call from make my trip that the type of room I have booked in the hotel is not available so they will upgrade my room type in the same hotel and will confirm. However they didn't confirmed till evening. Even I told the executive that we can cancel the reservation if hotel is not confirmed as we required this hotel only as we have already booked one more room in same hotel for my other family members. But It was the executive words that ‘Sir, don’t worry you will definitely get the room in same hotel’. · n number of times I have called make my trip till 15th Aug (my check-in day in hotel), but every time the response was they will get back to us with in 15 minutes but till last moment not received a single call from your end. · At last moment when we have to check in for Hotel i.e. on 15/08/14 around 11:30a.m. on our call, make my trip executive told us that no room is available in either hotel teg royal or in any other hotel, and the one they found is 'Hotel City Castle' which as per your executive is much better, more expensive and near to Teg royal, which actually is not and a very false assistance from you people. So due to this last minute information from your exec, they have left no option for me than to show my consent for City Castle. · But after reaching Amritsar, I found out that it is quite far from Hotel Teg royal and a two star hotel with very bad rating. Totally fallacious information provided by makemytrip. So we decided to avoid that hotel and somehow managed to stay in Teg royal. So I requested Makemytrip for refund for my Booking ID - NH[protected], but they denied. After this traumatic experience, I have decided never to use Makemytrip Finally, the dismay we bear both mentally and monetarily due to your misguidance we need our money refund with compensation.

The booked ticket details are:- MakeMyTrip Booking ID NF[protected] Booking Date Mon, 11 Aug 2014 After booking the ticket I cancelled my ticket within 30 minutes. And while cancelling my e-ticket through mobile, I took a screen shot of the cancelled statement that appeared on my mobile screen. It was clearly mentioned that a total refund amount is Rs 3881 INR, which was mentioned to be delivered within next week, but yet now I din't find any refunds in my account. They have only credited Rs 274 out of 5631 INR. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK.                     In reference to your complaint, we have validate your case with our concerned team and found that cancellation was made within 3 hours from the time of departure of your flight. As per Airline policy, you have been marked as no show on the ticket. This policy is very well endorsed on your E-ticket as well. The policy is quoted as below.

                    " You can cancel your booking by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. If you are cancelling or rescheduling your flight within 3 hours of its departure time, kindly contact the airline directly. Please note that the booking can only be cancelled till 2 hours before the departure of the flight. Customers who (have not cancelled their bookings) and fail to report in time shall be deemed as No Show by the airline.
                    * Please submit your request under special claims for Non-Operational Flights, Flights delayed beyond a specified time, Unutilized No Show tickets, and tickets directly cancelled with the airline, by logging on to the Customer Support section of our website. "

                    On the cancellation confirmation email, we have found that it was specifically mentioned that we will be refunding INR 274.00 on your booking within 2-4 workings days. We are sorry but we will not be able to honor this case. Please treat this as a final resolution on the case from our end.

                      Hello Team,

                      We had booked a Flight ticket through Makemytrip.com but had to go for cancellation due to incorrect details. They assured us that we will get the refund within 15 days which is a quite long time but we waited to follow the standard process. It is going to be 2 months now and we did not get any refund from them. We called them sever time and wrote many emails to resolve this issue and provide the refund to us ASAP. They keep on saying wait for a week or 4-5 days we will provide the refund to you. Also they started giving reason that the problem is there from bank side. I did check with bank but they said we did not get any refund request from makemytrip.com. This is not the one time we tried to follow up with them several times but as of now no proper solution has been provide by the company. This is a very much frustrating support and service I have ever received in my life and I would never go for any further relation with them and also never ever suggest anyone to go with them. I would request if possible please take a strict action on this company. Thanks!

                        I tried making a hotel booking on 14th august, the booking was not confirmed and the charges Rs. 10398/- where deducted from my account.
                        I was told that there was some error in the payment gateway and the amount that I was charged will be refunded in 72 working hours. first complaint reference id[protected]
                        Now its been one week and there is no refund. When I again contacted make my trip they asked me to email my bank statement.
                        Now I don't understand why they need the bank statement.

                        The money debited from my account is credited either in their account or the payment gateways account.
                        The payment gateway provider is that third party and is the service provider of make my trip.
                        They can get all the details they want from the payment gateway.
                        The executive that I spoke to Priyanka Duggal, was not ready to help me in any way.
                        When I asked her to transfer the call to her senior (Tilak Raj. Supervisor) she said that the senior was not available.
                        When I asked her to transfer the call to the next available senior she said that all of the seniors are not available.
                        I find it hard to believe.
                        She was not able to give me any reasonable answer on how and when would my money would be refunded.
                        In fact she couldnt confirm if my money would be ever refunded at all.

                          I was trying to book the round trip tickets from Varanasi to Bangalore for 13th December and return date 23rd december.The total amount of the ticket was 16814Rs. The Transaction was not successful.In how many days will I get the refund? I did not receive any Text message or any email confirming the booking I just got a popup message saying transaction was not successful and the balance got deducted from my HDFC account.

                            I was not allotted the seat which I booked (AC recling seat) and was given an ordinary (non-reclining)seat.Despite telling all the BUS staff and make my trip staff (Mob-[protected]), their behaviour was VERY BAD especially the person with mob no.mentioned and they did nothing! They charged me with a higher fare and allotted a NON-RECLINING seat. The behaviour of the bus staff was also very rude and intolerable. I had severe problem in my back and told the staff but nobody did anything! Anybody was made to sit on any seat. Many passengers suffered the same thing which I suffered. The bus no. was UP83.T.3861-KALPANA Tour & Travels. Date of Journey 18/08/14 from LKO to Delhi.                               An air ticket was booked via MakeMyTrip on 15/8/2014. The amount for booking was Rs.1585. Ref ID: NF[protected]. PNR:HBRJVT I cancelled the ticket on 16/8/2014.The cancellation amount shown in MakeMyTrip and in cancellation email are different.Before Cancellation the cancellation charge shown was 585 Post cancellation the amount to be refunded changed to 874 from 1000. Again on the amount to be refunded in the cancellation email changed to 624. Please find the attachment for both the website amt of 874 and email amt 624. After contacting Customer Care they accepted this error and forwarded this to their concerned dept(Ref ID:[protected]. But after repeated complaints also, they on 20/8/2014 processed a refund of 624.

                                Hi, I had initially made a booking (MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NF[protected] but had called MakeMyTrip to cancel one passenger's tickets (Niveditha Murthy). I received a message that my request was fulfilled. I was able to board the flight to Kochi on Jul 9th, but for some reason, my flight back on Jul 13th was canceled and neither MakeMyTrip nor, SpiceJet, had intimated me of the same! I had to purchase a new ticket from SpiceJet directly at the Kochi airport to Hyd and was promised by both companies that I'll be reimbursed for the same later. It's been over a month since I've been trying to get this issue resolved and get back the Rs 8, 002 + taxes that I had paid, but neither SpiceJet nor MakeMyTrip has taken responsibility for this, despite agreeing on email, that I did not authorize the cancellation of my ticket. I'm escalating this issue to all possible corners of the Internet and hope that both companies will accept their mistake and refund me money. Regards, Jibran

                                    I had booked Air ticket from MakeMyTrip.com via Makemytrip App from Android phone.
                                    As per the Offer I was supposed to get a CashBack of Rs 500 (Coupon Code : MMTAPP500).
                                    But I didn't received any CashBack, Neither they are able to justify that why I am not eligible for cashback.

                                    I called them back several times but their response was quite ignorant.

                                    first they said HDFCHOLIDAY is not a code then after seeing an attachment you say code was not applied. I had used that code but there was no apply button so I called customer service to confirm . They said just mention the code it will get applied.                                       After numerous mails and phone calls, i have reached to a conclusion that i will be lodging a complaint against Make my trip on the consumer forum and will go viral about marketing the fact that i have been robbed by the company, i have always used Make my trip as my bookings for travelling around, also to add i am an employee at American Express and people here only use Make my trip, However in the recent past i have heard that the company's system is always making errors online, a similar incident happened with me earlier where Make my trip had cancelled my booking automatically, and now an incorrect booking has been done. Kindly assist me here with an appropriate solution.
