I had made a booking for package flight+hotel through make my trip from Bangalore to vizag starting 29/06/14 to 04/07/14.My booking id is NP[protected] .29/06/14 night i arrived at visakapatnam and headed towards the hotel booked for me, the hotel name is 99Residency.On my arrival the hotel guys informed me that they don't accept any online booking neither they do any business with makemytrip.com, i was shocked beacuse i had spend 17, 100rs from the debit account and i am hardly left with cash to take care of my other expenses.This started around 9pm in the night, from 9pm to 1 AM, i was standing on the road and calling the makemytrip customer care .I could only listen to there recorded message.Around 1.30 AM i happened to speak with one of their customercare executive who told that they will check and call me back by 10.30 am next day, i asked about my accomdation for that night he didn't have any answer for it.I was travelling alone since am a guy and a lone traveller, i took care of myself at the middle of night.Imagine if the same thing had happened to a female or a family.What will they do .
Next day after fighting with makemytrip from morning to evening, i finally got a below standard room.They had completely cheated me with this package.And my business trip also got ruinned.I need them to settle my bill which i had spend for 29/06/14 night stay in a hotel and same bill had been forwarded to Melanie.[protected]@makemytrip.com
This kind of online booking agencies should be stopped or strict rules should be made against them by consumer court.visakapatnam is a city iam travelling for the first time and i dont know anyone over there.I was standing on the road till midnight 1.30am without any place to go.Who would be responsible if something would happen to me.I don't want the same thing to happen to any other person.So please impose strict rules on this agencies who put human life in such kind of trouble.
