I booked holidays through makemytrip for himachal, delhi, agra and haridwar. I told them the places I

want to visit, their representative miss janaki shah promised that we will be staying in all three star

hotels. I was told the pakage would cost 60,000/- Rupees for 12 nights and the name of the hotels were

also mentioned in the offer. They asked me to book air tickets first so that they can make hotel bookings

accordingly. Which I DID on the same day as the offer was sent to me. Since I was outstation I told them

that the payment would be made once I reach mumbai. After two days I reached mumbai and asked

them about their account details, there was no option for depositing cheque and since I DID not want to

do online transaction I chose the option to deposit cash into their account. When they send me the

bank details I found they had revised my quote by about 4000/- Rupees and even the hotel were

different than what were mentioned in the earlier offer. When I confronted them they claim that since

you delayed the transaction by couple of days we can not gety bookings in the hotels promised earlier

and also the cost has gone up. Now I has already purchased air tickets worth 21000/- And cancellation

would have meant loss of 6000/- Rupees and more over the family was already looking forward to the

holidays I decided to deposit the money hoping that it would be still a good holiday even though it is

costing more than anticipated.

The real horror started when we reached shimla. The hotel was about 15 kilometers away from shimla and it was fit enough to be a lodge and nowhere close to 3 star hotel. However we thought per haps the remaining hotels would be better. We came to manali and the hotel there was reasonable but when we landed at dharamshala the hotel was unbelievably shabby and not fit for staying my family refused to stay in the allotted rooms. I called up miss shah and had heated arguments with her. Finally the hotel manager upgraded our rooms. The hotel in delhi was not a hotel at all it was just a guesthouse in gurgaon. Hotel in agra was perhaps the worst of the lot. I have forwarded the photographs to miss janaki and I was told someone will get in touch with me but it has been 15 days since we came back and so far no one has contacted me. People go on holidays to unwind from the daily hustle bustle of life and to destress and spend some quality time together, but this holiday gave me more stress than ever.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I had booked a hotel using Make My trip.com. I received a confirmation email from them which said "Thank you for using MakeMyTrip.com to book your hotel accommodation.
    For your reference, your MakeMyTrip Booking ID is NH[protected].
    Kindly note, your booking is CONFIRMED and you are not required to contact the hotel or MakeMyTrip.com to reconfirm the same. "

    When I got this email, I was under an impression that my booking has been confirmed and had all the peace of mind. I had proceeded with further bookings of Cab (Ex-Delhi) and went to Mcleodganj. When I reached the hotel with the MMT voucher, to my surprise there was no booking on my name. After searching for more than half an hour I realized that I have been cheated. I also learnt that I am not the first victim of MMT.

    Upon contacting Make my trip customer care, they first tried to put the blame on me and told that they had informed me about non-reservation, but when I told them about this email and the voucher they accepted their mistake and promised me to get back with alternate option in the same category hotel within half an hour. There was numerous phone calls and discussions with too many representatives from Make my trip only to let me know that they can't do anything now. Since there was heavy rush due to an IPL match on the same weekend, I did not get any vacant room in any hotel even after wandering in the town for almost 2-3 hours.

    I had to cancel my trip and come back all they way to Delhi. It had not only wasted my money (approximately Rs. 15000), but has also wasted our (me and my spouse) entire weekend. I never had to face such embarassment in my life. Such unprofessional and careless behaviour is not at all acceptable from such a reputed company.

      Hi,

      Its one month now since I am trying to get reund of Rs 106439.00 from MakeMytrip which I had transferred to MakeMyTrip ICICI account on 12/9/2010 to book international flight ticket from Delhi to NewYork for my parents. They couldn't book the ticket My ticket never booked, I am still waiting for the refund. Sometimes I am getting reply that Refund is processed sometimes they are saying its under process, but its not going anywhere. Please help me in getting the refund.

      Here is the story:

      I was trying to book the ticket from makemytrip.com website. I tried twice but I got some error message and couldn't book the ticket. After 5-10 mins I got an email from Vaneet.[protected]@makemytrip.com that there is some technical issue with the website that's why my ticket is not getting booked. I gave him my number, he called me and suggested to transferred amount to MakeMyTrip ICICI account. He sent me details for wire transfer. I transferred the amount to MakeMyTrip ICICI bank account no. xxxxxxxx0362.Vaneet gave me the amedeus number as 44AR9Y, I verified the information on ticket and he told me that he has hold the tickets once amount will be credited he will confirm it.
      Next day I got reply from him that he couldn't book the ticket as amount was not yet credited to MakeMyTrip account and booking has expired. If they will receive the amount then that will be refunded within 7 days.

      I checked my account it was debited. I confirmed with my bank (Citibank), they confirmed that amount is credited to MakeMyTrip ICICI account xxxxxxxx0362, they gave me UTR number (unique Transaction reference number) for this transaction as: CITIN[protected]

      I gave all the details to Vaneet Sethi but he stopped replying to my email. I tried calling his extension many times but got reply from reception is noone is picking. Then I wrote to feedback section of the website on 16/9/2010 and got case id as:[protected]. Since then I called around 7-8 times to customer care and wrote many emails, but couldn't get satisfactory reply. See below the series of emails, not able to conclude if they are really looking into this or just sending reply from a set of email templates.

      The person Vineet Sethi of your company was dealing with me. He responded next day that booking is expired so ticket can't be booked and amount trasferred will be refunded to me.
      After that I have written couple of emails to him to know the status of refund but didn't get any reply. I tried his extn 3041 which he gave me but no one is picking that. I called customer care, requested information on online chat also but no one could give update me the status of Refund.

      Please update me on the status of Refund, how long does it takes? I need refund as soon as possible.

      I won't be able to send PDF since pdf bank statement for the month has not been generated, that's why I sent the snapshot and excel downloaded statement.
      I believe that with you need it for tracking the transaction and UTR nbr and transaction snapshot should be sufficient to track it.

      This is what I was afraid of that every time instead of good answer I would get reply that more hours needed. Please expedite.

      Refund by makemytrip.com not being made against cancelled tickets : I booked airline e-tickets through makemytrip.com on 1st June, 2011 paying vide internet banking. I got them cancelled on 4th June, 2011. From Ranchi, I seldom got connectivity with their customer complaint system. I emailed them through their Customer Service Feedback. But no response from them. It seems there is something fishy about their refund system. Kindly help me. makemytrip booking ID Nos/ cancellation referenece Nos are as follows : (1) NF[protected]/ IN1106R[protected] NF[protected]/ IN1106R[protected] NF[protected]/ IN1106R[protected] NF[protected]/ IN1106R0021394.         false ticket — refund of fare

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        I had booked one air ticket by IC 602 from DEL to BOM on[protected]. The Booking ID was FLT[protected]. No PNR generated. The seat was not confirmed due to system error. I had lot of inconvenience that time. However, I tried a lot to take assistance of your customer care service but to no avail. No body was able to extend any help that time rather they adopted dilatory tactics in solving the problem. Later on, I called for refund of the fare and it was assured to be done within seven working days. After elapse of eight months, I am still waiting for the refund of Rs. 4544/-. Can you please help me to get my refund or I should get it through Consumer Court.

          i have booked 5 tickets for mumbai to jammu and return and when i made payment through credit card and amount was debited to my account. i received message that booking failed. this has happend with me 2-3 time. i request all of you kindly donot book your ticket through make my trip
          I completely agree with you. The same thing happened with me while i was getting a ticket booked from delhi to amritsar. booking failed after payment and when i called them to enquire they said u can book another ticket and pay the price difference. Or otherwise they said that the mney will be refunded after some 15-20 days. I had to really put my ways through to get the booking done. Make my trip is a racket i feel pls do not get your tickets booked from this website.

            I tried to book an Air India flight from Delhi to Mumbai on 6th May 2011 around 11:00 Am but it could not be booked. But my SBI internet banking account showed that the money was debited from my account. I checked my makemytrip account but it showed no transaction details/history/refund status nothing. I tried to contact makemytrip customer care by making at least 30 calls out of which none was recieved. I have written 2 mails but none was replied except with an automatically generated reply. I hope action is taken as soon as possible.

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              I want to bring your kind attention that I have tried to book an air ticket through makemytrip.com website by using my UAE credit card on 21st of February 2011 for travel from Hyderabad to Bhubaneswar. After filling all the details the web page has asked to make the payment to issue the ticket. I have filled the Barclays credit card details for UAE Dirhams 689/-, before the transaction could go through the web page been expired so I could not able to get any transaction details and booking references. When I checked my credit card statement I found that Makemytrip.com has charged twice @ UAE Dirhams 689/- to my credit card and on 09th of March 2011 found there is a Refund o[censored]AE Dirhams 689/- in my card. Now I am struggling to get the another refund of 689/- or any ticket if booked. I have sent more that 20 mails to the concerned company but till now they have not refunded my money or issued any ticket to me.
              I want your help to resolve this issue and refund my money

              I did a internet booking for rail tickets through makemytrip.com in September'10. Ticket with PNR No. [protected] wasn't confirmed hence there was a refund due for Rs1802. It has been over 2 months that i was suppose to get this refund in my account whereas I haven't received the same till now and neither makemytrip.com is able to assist me on same. Please help

              Make My Trip — delay in refund

              I was trying to book e-ticket with following details from my SBI Netbanking

              Bookinig was tried to be made on: 29.12.2010

              Booking was tried to be made for the 08:45 AM flight of 26.02.2011 from NewDelhi to Bangalore for one person in Go Airways(Go Air G8-201)

              But, due to some network problem just after I made the payment(Rs. 3,572.00, transaction id-IG[protected] there was a link failure, for which ticket was not booked. but money was deducted from my account. I waited for automatic refund but it did not happen. Then I made repeated complaints regarding this along with my account statement, though i was promised to get my refund within 72 hours again and again, after 27 days also I am not able to get my refund. I am attaching my account statement

              I had made a booking with Makemytrip via booking reference number (MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NP[protected].
              During our holiday my son was seriously ill and we had to return as an emergency. I called Makemytrip and obviously got no assistance and they asked me to contact the airline.
              On calling Spice Jet they were nice enough to understand the problem and canceled the tickets so I could book earlier flights, and confirmed a refund back to makemytrip since they were the travel agents in between, and asked me to contact makemytrip.
              On calling makemytrip and waiting for several minutes I was told that out of the 10,000+ refund that Spicejet had issued to them they would only refund about 8700 out of it...I was dissapointed, however, the situation required me to rush back, hence I said ok and asked them to refund back to the credit card. They confirmed this and mentioned that the amount would be refunded back within 3 business days. This conversation happened on 4th April and today is the 20th and several calls to makemytrip...they just keep putting you on hold and hang up.
              I called Spicejet once again to confirm, and again they confirmed that the refund has been issued.
              However, on my last call just now to makemytrip I was placed on hold by Gaurav Bahl for over half and hour and then hung up on. Please assist me in receiving my refund and would never want to do business with a company such as this again, who do not value customers time.

                This is regarding some fake consumer forums existing in the internet. There are huge number of consumer forums blacklisted by cyber crime department. These are not authorized forums by any government across globe. Also they cant do anything regarding your complaints and cant solve your any problems related to any service.

                Then you might have one question that if it is true then why these forums are created what benefit they are getting from this???

                Now a days internet marketing of the products is booming. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo are masters in the internet advertisements.For placing the advertisement in website, website owner get paid by the related companies. This business is growing day by day and the turnover of the same is in multi billion dollars. To get advertisement from the ad agencies page ranking and the popularity of the website is the very important parameter, and these parameters are dependent on number of visitors and users of the website.

                To make the website a" money making machine" huge number o[censored]nauthorized and fake discussion forums have been created across the world, and as complaints and discussions about product and service is the very close issues of day to day life of human being, these forums are taking advantage of this fact.

                In these forums people can post anything about anybody and about any company. Most funny thing is that you will find some fake complaints about some company and the ad of the same company will be displayed in the same forum. These so called forum administrators have no control on the posting. They display the malicious and defamatory contents without verification from the companies about the issue. Not all companies's management have time to put the comments below the queries and many of these companies's management is not even aware that somebody is putting malicious contents about their companies in these forums.

                End of the day because of these forums many companies's business is indirectly getting affected and most of them are small and medium scale businesses.These forums are spreading negativeness about the service providing companies by doing their dis advertisement and allowing unverified defamatory contents to be displayed.

                Coming to the point, the conclusion of the story is consumer is posting the complaints in the such a forums in which administrator of the forum himself doesn't have any control regarding the contents ( means if you put defamatory contents about that forum itself it will accept). Consumer having problems regarding the service of any company should approach company management first and should give the application regarding the problem solving. If that also doesn't worked out consumer can approach Government consumer court or file an FIR in police station.

                In 98.7% of the cases about the complaints against the service it is observed that problem gets resolved immediately after reaching company management. And for other complicated or fraud related cases, government of every country has its own consumer court in every city and district.

                Friends, No machine in this world is 100% efficient, it implies to every human being, every service and every organization. But it doesn't means that you should defame that person, service provider or an organization. It will indirectly affect the business of the company and in turns every person including the consumer get affected by it. Our constitution has given right to everybody regarding speech but this doesn't means that you start taking revenge by destroying image and goodwill of the company which is the port built by efforts and hard work of honest people.

                Yes, you have right to talk and spread awareness about the fraud people and organisations but only after verification and getting perfect legal proofs against it.Don't start blaming anybody or any company just because one wrong, defamatory and baseless comment came in some unauthorized forum.

                Approaching right person, right organisation is the only way of solving the problem, Please Please don't support the illegal forums to spread their illegal business.

                Very soon we are posting the list of all blacklisted forums by cyber crime department

                  On 01/05/2011 i have booked a train ticket through tatkal (e-ticket) for my father at that time the waiting list was 79 and at the time of traveling received a sms stating that the ticket is confirmed and when my father travel , the TT ask about the ticket and he gave the print out of e-ticket which was generated through system and TT told that this is not a valid ticket and he didn’t travel as TT didn’t allow him to travel without a ticket...Pls refund the amount which was deducted from my bank account.

                    I called up today more then 5 times to speak to anshul ahuja ,but
                    ur customer call told he is gone out for lunch and its 4 now,till now
                    i have not got any calls from them.i had made a booking of hotel in
                    kumrakome lake resort on 14th and there was payment gateway issue and
                    ammount is been debited from my account but make my trip didnt
                    confirmed and after receiving this below mail i again booked the hotel
                    and it got confirmed and its showing in my account as reconfirmed
                    .Still the amount is not been credit to my account ,and when i checked
                    with the back ,bank showed me the transection is been completed on
                    14th april,2011 .I CHECKED WITH SBI MY BANK.THEY SHOWED ME MAKE MY TRIP ACCOUNT IS WITH SBI NEW DELHI BRANCH A/C NO [protected] BRANCH CODE 5453 .now who is
                    responcible for my money ,no one is replying me back and i am worried
                    its more then 10 days now.

                      This is the voice of the mentally and physically tortured customer of Make my Trip who has trusted the Unprofessional company for making a holiday trip to Nainital.
                      I have booked my Hotel booking through Make my Trip for the Dolmaar Resorts in Kathgodam (Nainital) and my booking id number is IN1104B10555 dated April 20’11 and the whole amount was paid through credit card instantly after confirming the family room is available and the check in date is 22 April and check out date is 24th April accompanying the family with the 2 years old kid.
                      And just imagine the welcome after travelling 400 kms to an unknown city with a small kid with a mood of enjoying the planned and booked holiday. You get an answer from the reception of the resort that your booking is not there with us and we are completely booked and rather the whole nainital is booked because of the long weekend. We have called the make my trip booking number where we were calling for the booking, no one picked up the call and the resort manager was speaking to Mr. Sidharth about our booking saying “I have already informed you over the phone and email that we are booked and cancel the booking made by your marketing executive and inform the customer about the same. Why you have not done and the customer is standing in front of me. ” We have asked the hotel manager to make him speak to us but siddharth banged the phone without speaking to us. We took the number from the manager and spoke to him. Just imagine his answer after we gave him the introduction, hanji batayie. Aap wait karo apko call receive ho jayegi 10 minute mein. We have waited there for long one hour but no one called us. Hotel manager told us to go to Eden Garden hotel which was again 30 kms from the resort we were standing. We had no options but to go there as the whole nainital was booked due to long weekend.
                      It was a substandard under construction property where there was no activity at all and just a room which was not of our choice.
                      This was a weekend which make my trip has given us after paying the whole amount in advance and bearing the pain and booking ourselves to an unknown city. Thankfully we had car and cash to go to other place which was 1 hr drive from the chosen one. And the whole day was spoiled in searching the new place and doing the booking all over again. My kid and family was crying due to long drive and tiring journey after going to heights with the unfresh mind and body.
                      On Monday I have called the customer service dept. of make my trip and the answer we have rec;d is get Rs. 1000 off in your next booking or show us the bill and we will refund you the amount. You give us the bill and refund will take place after looking at your bills.
                      I wonder how make my trip is existing on such a worst marketing team who gives the booking on a over booked hotel and charge the customer for the non booking trip. And such a customer service dept. who is offering Rs. 1000 off on the next booking.

                        I booked a hotel( Nihar niligiri) in ooty for my vacation on 19th Apr 2011. The booking was for 22nd April to 24th Apr 2011. Make my trip had first confirmed my booking and i recieved the confirmation voucher aswell.

                        Just the day before i was about to leave for ooty. I thought of calling the hotel and check my status. I got to kno from them that they had no reservation on my Name.

                        after calling Makemytrip they told that it is not confirmed and they will refund my Money.

                        they totally ruined my vacation. I dont know how there system works but this is certainley not the way a reputed travel agency should work.
                        My entire vacation was ruined as i could not get any hotel anywhere that day in ooty as every hotel was booked.

                            Make my trip has booked my trip to Landsdown and its booking id with confirm hotel voucher is NH[protected].
                            After one day i have got a call from them and they asked me that my booking was cancelled due to some non availability and they will refund by booking amount.
                            I have also booked a taxi after i have got confirmation from them but as they have cancelled my booking i have to bear a huge amount of fare approx 8,000.
                            They are not giving me back this amount and only refunding my booking amount.

                            Make My Trip — useless hotels

                            I had given the below mention package to my brother. I had already told
                            the agent to give me good hotel as last year my summer vacation trip was
                            messed up by Make my trip. They had given me Lalji Resorts in Dalhousie
                            - a lousy place to stay in and then they gave me some "Royal Palace" in
                            Khajjiar which was again pathetic.....and I had to spend extra money for
                            arranging a decent hotel in Khajjiar.

                            They have just repeated themselves ! This time also, they told me that
                            Balrampur House is a nice place to stay. But when my brother went there,
                            it looked more like a haunted place as there were no guests in the hotel
                            and its separated from main Nainital city. So my brother did not check
                            in the hotel but kept waiting in the garden and had some snacks. He then
                            moved to another better hotel for his trip.

                            Please refund may money for this hotel and do not recommend the cheap
                            hotels to any of your customers.

                            The idea of making a booking through make my trip is to avoid any
                            waiting and hassles of hotel reservation & not to be in a cheap hotel
                            where you do not even feel secure. If you check your records, you will
                            find that I have been your regular customer. But sorry to say that after
                            these episodes I would not recommend any one for Make my trip neither
                            any of my family members would be taking this risk o[censored]sing your
                            services.

                            Please update me on refund.

                            Our vacation was horrible and spoiled because I choose Make My trip hotel booking. I booked Room in MGM Resorts Conoor, Ooty through your website. I got the conformation and the full amount charged in my credit card. When I reached the hotel no reservation for me. The hotel staff said hotel is already over booked the same is intimated to make my Trip. I was shocked and contacted your customer services and they said trying for alternative arrangements. Why your staff not inform (through e mail or phone) the same thing before my trip. I cancel my trip or postpone to avoid all these hassles. After big fight MGM allotted room for one day. Next day they shifted me to another substandard hotel in Ooty (Hotel Sunshine) and the said hotel is 17 KM far from connor. The next day I packed my luggage run to ooty to check in. The tariff is cheap compared to MGM. More over my children are sleeping in the floor. I wonder how we can depend your company for future holiday trips ?

                            THEY WILL TRAP YOU AND WILL NOT RESPOND AFTER TAKING MONEY. I made a booking through Ms Lakshmi Devi for my Darjeeling-Kalimpong-Gangtok

                            trip. I had requested to book a 3-star category hotel at all places. I was confirmed the same by the executive. Before leaving, i had asked her about Hotel Seven Seventeen whether its a 3-star or not. She told its a 3-star rated hotel. When I reached there, to my surprise and anguish, I found a useless hotel booked for me. The hotel rooms were very small, with stained, torn bedsheets, uncleaned floor, bathrooms, stinking clothes etc. When I tried calling the executive to check/change my booking, I was asked to wait for some time and she would call back, but never done so. The hotel in Kalimpong was average hotel (Garden Reach) but the service was very poor. We were offered only bread as breakfast one morning and they made us wait for other breakfast for half an hour and nobody turned up after that.
                            Finally, the hotel at Gangtok(Silk Route Residency) was the worst. The rooms were stinking like hell. They had not changed the bed sheets for quite some days, so stained and torn at places.
                            Overall, my trip was spoiled because of poor response from Ms Lakshmi Devi. Whenever I called her, I was given some hypothetical reply, which surely is not practical. She asked me to contact customer care for addressing my grievances and assured that my hotel booking shall be changed. I wonder why should I do so?? Till the time I had not done the transaction of money, I got calls from her, but once I sent money, I didnot get proper response, leave alone getting some positive act. I also told her during my last call that if such is the response from you people, I will assure that I never do a hotel booking through these guys and also ensure that nobody known to me falls in your trap, because all they need is money and not customer satisfaction.

                              I had booked for two (2) rooms in Lake View hotel, Ooty for the period 20-apr-2011 to 22-apr-2011. This was informed to makmytrip 36 hours before, but then they refused to refund.
                              I want to cancel 1 room as 2 members of our family are not joining us. When I booked the hotel tickets, I had used the "No Fuss" code.                                   WELL IT WAS A PATHETIC START TO MY HONEYMOON.WE REACHED THE HOTEL(MOVENPICK RESORT AND SPA)ON 13 MARCH 11 AT 1 30 PM THOUGH OURS PACKAGE WAS SUPPOSE TO START FROM 2 PM BUT STILL THERE WERE MANY COUPLES WHO CAME AFTER US AND GOT THE ROOM BEFORE US.WE WAITED TILL 2 30 PM AND SEEING THE ANGER ON MY FACE THE RECEPTIONIST GAVE ME THE KEYS OF ROOM NO.4207.AS SOON AS I REACHED THE ROOM IT WAS A SHOCKER FOR BOTH O[censored]S.THE ROOM WAS IN A PATHETIC STATE.WHEN IT WAS KNOWN IN ADVANCE THAT SO MANY COUPLES WOULD BE ARRIVING ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY WHY WERENT THE ROOMS NOT MADE AVAILABLE ON TIME.I IMMEDIATELY CALLED UP THE RECEPTION AND WANTED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER BUT WASNT CONNECTED.THE DUTY MANAGER CAME TO MY ROOM AND INFORMED ME THAT THE PERSON WHO WAS STAYING IN THE ROOM EARLIER CHECKED OUT LATE.
                                  I TOLD HER THAT WAS NOT MY PROBLEM.SHE APOLOGISED AND AFTER ABOUT HALF AND HOUR THE ROOM WAS MADE UP THAT TOO IN FRONT OF ME.EFFECTIVELY WE SETTLED DOWN IN THE ROOM AT ABOUT 3 PM.I WOULDNT HAVE STARTED MY HONEYMOON ON A BAD NOTE IF THE ROOM WOULD HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE ON TIME.WASNT THE HOTEL NOT INFORMED ABOUT THE ARRIVAL???
                                  IF YES THEN WHY WASNT THE ROOM EARMARKED EARLIER FOR US.

                                  THE SIGHTSEEING TOURS WERE GOOD BUT ON THE THIRD DAY OF THE TOUR WE WERE SHIFTED TO ANOTHER COACH IN WHICH SOME OTHER COUPLES WERE PRESENT WHO WERE UNKNOWN.WELL AFTER TWO DAYS OF SIGHTSEEING ONE TENDS TO MAKE BONDING WITH THE OTHER COUPLES TRAVELLING ALONG WITH YOU.BUT ON THE LAST DAY OF THE SIGHTSEEING IF YOU GET SHIFTED TO ANOTHER COACH YOU DONT ENJOY WITH THE NEW COMPANY.THE COUPLES ON THE NEW COACH HAD JUST ARRIVED IN MAURITIUS AND IT WAS THERE FIRST DAY OF SIGHTSEEING WHEREAS FOR US IT WAS OUR THIRD DAY.THIS SORT OF ADJUSTMENT IS NOT DONE ON THE FINAL DAY AND IT MEANT THAT THE TOUR AGENCY JUST WANTED TO FINISH OFF THE TOUR SOMEHOW.

                                  IT WAS MENTIONED IN THE PACKAGE THE A COMPLIMENTARY T SHIRT AND A PAREO WOULD BE PROVIDED BUT NOTHING WAS GIVEN TO US.WHEN WE WERE CHECKING OUT ON 19 MARCH I APPROACHED THE RECEPTIONIST FOR THE COMPLIMENTARY T SHIRT AND PAREO BUT SHE SHOWED ME A REGISTER AND INFORMED ME THAT IT ALREADY HAD BEEN PROVIDED AND WAS KEPT IN THE ROOM ON THE FIRST DAY IT SELF.WELL ON THE FIRST DAY MY ROOM WAS PREPARED IN FRONT OF ME AND NO T SHIRT OR PAREO WAS PLACED THERE.THERE WERE SIX OTHER COUPLES WHO WERENT PROVIDED WITH THE T SHIRT AND PAREO AND THE RECEPTIONIST SAID THAT I CAN UNDERSTAND FOR ONE COUPLE BUT SIX COUPLES IS NOT POSSIBLE.SHE WAS GIVING LOOKS AS IF WE WERE ON THE WRONG SIDE THAT’S WHY I TOLD HER OK FINE IT DOESN’T MATTER WE GET THE SHIRT OR PAREO BUT KINDLY CHECK YOUR RECORDS.




                                  WELL LASTLY THIS IS REGARDING THE PAYMENTS OF THE PACKAGE.
                                  I PAID A TOTAL AMOUNT 1.13 LAKHS RUPPES FOR THE ENTIRE PACKAGE.TO MY SURPRISE I MET COUPLES WHO HAD PAID AMT AS LESS AS 1.05 LAKHS TO MAKEMYTRIP.COM FOR THE SAME FACILTIES THAT I HAD GOT.I AM AN INDIAN ARMY OFFICER AND FOR TRAVELLING ABROAD I HAD TO GET A SECURITY CLEARANCE 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF MY TRAVEL.I GOT THE PACKAGE BOOKED IN JANUARY 11 ITSELF AND MADE THE FINAL PAYMENT IN THE LAST WEEK OF FEBRUARY.SOME COUPLES GOT THERE PACKAGE BOOKED AFTER ME WITH LESS AMT GIVEN .SOME HAD PAID TO YATRA .COM AMONT OF 1.04 LAKH RUPPES.I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD PAID THIS AMOUNT THAT IS 1.13 LAKH RUPEES.PLEASE EXPLAIN ME THE ANOMALIES IN THE PAYMENTS.

                                  I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY REPLY TO THE ABOVE OBSERVATIONS SO THAT IF I PLAN FOR ANOTHER TRIP I GET IT BOOKED THROUGH MAKE MY TRIP WITH A BETTER DEAL.

                                    I booked 2 tickets from Chennai to Ahmedabad for 29th March, 2011. The booking ID is NF[protected]. I made a mistake in the date and there was no confirmation page on the website for me to review the details of my booking. The payment was deducted immediately from my bank.

                                    When I called their customer care to request for a rescheduling they wanted me to pay Rs. 1000 per ticket for rescheduling. They had no way to waive this penalty eventhough I called within 5 minutes of booking the ticket and they only had to modify the details.

                                    I found this exceedingly unfair. I also called the airline (INDIGO) who told me that they cannot change this because the ticket was under the control of the travel agency. How ridiculous is that? This is how these people are cheating innocent customers of their money. I want to sue them for this.

                                    I also forgot to mention that the Makemytrip.com call center executive (28th March, 2009 8.00 am) hung up on me when I was telling her I may go to court.

                                      I made railway bookings PNR Nos. [protected] and [protected], and Makemytrip Booking ID NR[protected], which was done on the 8th Dec 2010 for a travel date of 30th Dec 2010 and 13th Jan 2011; and had a confirmed birth for the same.

                                      As the person I booked tickets for met an unfortunate accident, I had to cancel the tickets on 29th Dec 2010, so, I contacted the customer care for the same, they processed the same and said that the money would get transferred in 7 working days (i.e., till 7th of Jan 2011), however till now they haven't made the transfer. I've made a number of complaints but no one called or mailed me in this regards except the one I will be quoting as follows:-

                                      But, neither a call or a followup email was delivered to me and not to mention about the money which is nowhere to be getting through my account. But, leaving all this apart I made a few more reservations with makemytrip and they were processed at that very instant as we had to make that trip, but when it comes to refunding the amount, it seems like makemytrip is not interested at all and to beat it all, they kept on sending feedback links to grade their services, how rubbish is that i mean?.. The customer care number sucks as most agents hang up on me everytime.

                                      I need your help, like me i guess there are more people being treated the same. They need to follow a more better business practice to be able to gain more customers, however i just need my money back. And, I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to file an official complaint for the same in the consumer court.

                                      Because, it has already been 3 months or 88 days to be exact after requesting the refund and got promised for the same and as it has been mentioned, nothing has been processed so far.

                                      Any helpful/guidance comments will be appreciated.

                                        Credit card account has been charged twice for a single transaction. The travel was done in Jan 2011 and post reconcileation of the credit card account where the charge appears twice on my account a complaint was raised with makemytrip.com on 8th Feb 2011. So far have only received responses that there will be revert on my case after 72 hours. There has been several instances of the missed 72hrs deadlines. I have all the copies of the correspondence with this company.
