Hi, This is regarding my railway booking with Make my trip. I had booked 2 ist class tickets from Howrah - Vishakapatnam from Howrah Chennai Mail on the 12th June 2010. My mom could not come hence i wanted to cancel her ticket. I tried cancelling the ticket but the website was not working hence i called the call center after 30 mins of fruitless attempts. I called the call center where the lady said she wont be able to cancel my ticket ad the chart was prepared and I have to raise a TDS. I clarified with her that the cancellation policy says that 25% will be deducted if I cancel the ticket before 4 hours of train departure. I tried to raise an TDS 5 1/2 hours before the departure of the train.

I website was not working and i got a automatic response regarding website not working, which indicates the time of the mail as 18:24 and the train departure is at 23:24 PM. I called the call center again to seek help in raising the TDS as I dont want 50% cancellation of the ticket.The agent by the name of Reza was incompitetant, was not willing to listen or transfer the call to any other agent or manager. He was not willing to help at all and did even made an attempt to understand my issue. I had to disconnect the phone after wasting 30-40 mins with the agent . The standard phone bill will be charged for fruitless call . I had to go through unnecessary inconvinence and loss of money as I am still not able to raise TDS . The web site is still not rectified and nobody is ready to listen to my grievance . i sent a mail at customer service department but recieved a standard response.

I would like you to take action against the company and get my money as well as compensation for time and money wasted on call on the date of departure when i had other important things to do.

    We booked a package tour throeugh the touir operator Make My Trip, magical ladakh on dated 5th June, 10. We faced such at hhorrible and

    troublesome experience with I will never forget. On reaching to Delhi in the midnight

    no Dinner was offered to us( as it was supposed to give us as mentioned in the tour

    plan). on the next morning there cab came to pickup us at 6:50am. Our flight was scheduled

    to depart at 8:10am as par their itenarary . but surprisingly at the airport, Kingfisher

    staffs told us we cannot board as the boarding is closed at 7:15am and the flight is about

    to depart at 7:30am. They have no flight schedule at 8:10am to Leh. We just shattered and

    could not decide what to do at that time. We called their representative number of

    times.They talked with the kingfisher staffs and we came to know that the changed time has

    been intimated to their staff Mr. Prem but no intimation was given to us. they ultimately

    kept us in the hostel day long. Think about the situation , we were six adult and two

    children. Their reps. could not confirm our tickt day long. even nobody came to meet us. We

    had to shift to the airport at 2:30am next day for confirmation of tickets.Their reps. was

    trying to sent us to the airport alone but we compelled them to send one guide to accompany

    us.Just think of the situation we had two childrens along with us.On 7th june we reach Leh

    in the morning. But instead of keeping us at rest for the day to acclimatize at such high

    altitude we were forced to go out for sightseeing. As a result of that some of our

    co-passangers fallen ill.My three year old baby had vommiting and fever.As par their

    schedule staying four night at leh we forced to cut short to three nights at Leh. On the day

    of departure from Leh they were supposed to give us breakfast but no such arrangement was

    done. We reached at The Delhi airport at 9:15am on 10th june We had our return flight to

    Kolkata at 6:10pm that was also booked by the company. It was very horrible to stay at transit for about nine hours. They could

    have arranged our return flight earlier as ther ware nos. of flights in between. We are

    planning to lodge a complain at the Consumer forum for such harrassement and mental trauma.My booking ID:IN1004B11596

      I bought an Airline ticket from MakeMy Trip Office in Guwahati on Hyderabad-Kolkata-Guwahati sector on 04-07-10 in the name of my daughter Nahid Farzin. PNR No. M42FCI & M42FCI for journey on[protected]. As per Air Fare details given by their Gurgaon office was Rs. 4782.00 which includes service charge of Rs.250.00.
      But their Guwahati Office collected Rs. 4982.00 without spelling out the reason for extra collection.I took up the matter with the co. sin they preferred to remain silent. This amounts to plain cheating and demand refund of the excess amount.

      there are many more people RIGHTLY COMPLAINING against the company...its a complete fraud!

      they lure people with offers which are wrongly priced...
      especially, no one should take up foreign tour packages with them.
      To us, out of a 7 day trip to malaysia-singapore, they gave 3 free days and all the nice places to be seen were optional, for which they extra money everytime.

      They did not plan to take to twin towers while being in malaysia, and when demanded, they asked for SEVEN TIMES the price of the actual ticket!

      PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY TRIP!!!

        I made an incorrect booking for a bus from Udupi to Mumbai on 28th May Travel date incorrectly selected by me was 10th June instead of 11th June. I realised this after making payment. Within 5 mins of booking i checked up I was asked to make fresh booking and make fresh payments for the new booking I was assured that refund would be made after deduction Rs 450 within 5/7 days.
        I checked up on 3rd for refund accordingly. And till todate I am only getting assurance from CCAvenue and Makemytrip that payment has been advised to my bank without giving any advise details I am also being asked to get in touch with my bank.
        Booking Reference BUS[protected] three tickets worth Rs 4500 Refund amount Rs 4050 as per agreed terms and condition.
        The fact that I had to suffer for following up for my payments has no penalty for Makemytrip.com as service provider while they charge me Rs 450 for doing nothing. ??????

        Everytime I write or complain I get the message the refund will be made within 5/7 days.
        When will the customer service give cock and bull stories.
        Why does it take so many days for refunding such a palty sum of Money
        I was told on 11th Money is refunded. On 12th Money refund is already is processed. And again on 14th I am told the money is going to be refunded in next 5 days
        In anticipation of payment within 5th June 2010 as per approval I have already issued cheques. All cases of bounced cheques where I would have to suffer consequences of Sec 138 by Default Makemytrip.com and CCAvenue becomes now a party as i was not wrong in issuing cheques in anticipation of refund after 7 days as per Rules of Makemytrip.com

          I made booking with makemytrip on line through netbanking and made payment through netbanking icici bank to book my two trip ticket from Delhi to san Franciso USA on 19 April 2010
          and paid 107000 Rs through internet banking using icici bank. my account num ber[protected]
          As i am not in india at presend i am serving with United nation mission in Ivory Coast
          i applied for usa visa for me and for my wife and could not get from this countery
          So i decided to cancell my ticket with make my trip.com
          i worte so may mail to customer care every time they give reference number and mail say you will get reply with 24 hrs .But i am not getting any reply about may cancellation of ticket

          Make My Trip — Cancellation of ticket

          they are calling us and saying that the price at the time of booking was not correct....and the ticket will be cancelled if don't pay money
          Refund not done
          I have booked an airline ticket and was supposed to fly on 8th September. Due to death in my family I was unable to do so. I contacted the Alitalia Office and they were so considerate and emailed me that there would be no cancellation fee. I have emailed make my trip the death certificate and still it has been more than a month and I haven't heard any update from them. I keep getting the same template email from them that someone will get back within 2-3 days and it has been more than 40 days now and the amount to be refunded is Rs 44000. The customer service is the worst that you can possibly imagine. The irony is when I spoke with Alitalia head office and told them that my ticketing agent is Make my trip, they told me good luck getting refund from them. This is the Head office of Alitalia. my booking id is NN[protected] and my contact no is [protected]

            I booked 4 tickets for my daughter from edinburgh to bangalore through makemytrip.Com on 16th april. I have paid rs.40, 000 for four tickets through standard chartered credit card. I money has also been paid to standard chartered, and the amount has been credited to make my trip.Com
            I even got a mail saying that tickets have been confirmed.
            When we checked on british airways website, my daughters name was not in the list flight booking.
            They didn't even inform us about this. When we called the makemytrip number, a mr. Nitin said that the british airways flight itself is canceled. But again when we checked on the british airways website, it said that the flight is operational. When we called again, he agrees to the fact that the flight is operational, indeed he lied. He said he will confirm the tickets and call me back. Never got any phone call from them.
            The next day i called. Some female called ms. Dhairya answered the call and again told me she will confirm the ticket and tell us. Again there was no call from them.
            They have block my number, so that i cant call.
            I called from an other number and someone called priya picked up. Again the same story all over again. I was promised that i would receive a call exactly at 12 this morning. Of course no call from them. Why would they? They are such lazy asses with abosolutely no sense. Cow dung in their brains. Cant book a ticket, cant cancel it, cant refund the money.
            What sort of moronic company is this trying to cheat people?
            I called again, because the flight is on 15th of june less than a week away. And 40.000. Rs is not a joke, that i can give for makemytrip cheat me charity! They are such up company.
            No one answered when i called from my number.
            Again i called from someones phone. I blasted them nicely and told them to cancel all the booking and give me a full refund and threatened to sue them. They have all got thick buffalo skins with up heads. I think they are so used to people threatening them that it has no effect on them. "the stupid" ms. Priya said she will call at 12 tomorrow.
            As usual no one will call, don't think they will cancel my bookings, nor refund the money.
            Its such a fraud. Never had this kind of experience ever. Never ever trust this company

            Makemytrip.com — Very Unprofessional

            I was called by one of the rep after I have called most of the offices and he was nice to offer me refund.
            this is @@@@ing Crazy as I have a conecting flight to catch and now I am left with refund and book my flight again and plan my traveling again. What a dissatisfying experience.

            at least I am done with it and don't have to speak to them again.
            The authorities must take stringent action against this company. Their license must be stripped. Authorities please wake up and wipe out such rascals for cheating innocent customers. Mam, I understand your agony and frustrations against such weirdos, please take this matter to the consumer court, if things don't get resolved here.
            I do agree.
            Even I faced the same experience with them.
            Public pls be aware and do not make any deal with them.

            I had booked a hotel with make my trip in munnar. They debited the money, sent a confirmation email saying that the hotel booking is confirmed and not to phone the hotel to reconfirm.

            But my happiness was short lived when i just happened to phone the hotel to confirm the booking. They informed me that there is no booking done in my name. Then the horror story starts of contacting the customer support teams.. waiting for their phone calls which never come..they suggesting you some 3rd rate hotels..and the saga to get your money back...Today 10 days have passed i have stil not got my refund.

            So instead of making your trip pleasurable, Makemytrip will make it disgusting and thats a guarantee.
            Inform cyber cell of your state. I had a similar experience last week. I am going to approach the media and cyber cell regrading this fraudulent organization. The cyber laws can deal with this type of online frauds.
            I have booked Air ticket through make my trip.com vide booking no-NF[protected] on 13/07/2011 from Delhi to Pune & Pune to Delhi in Indigo air line at 11:05 am.But suddenly at 2:50 at night i got a massage on my mobile no:[protected] for request of cancellation of my ticket which i dont communicate from my end.
            It is surprising to know that i have requested thier staff to check&give me detail of mail which they received for cancellation of my booking.
            I got a call from Kajal at 9:00 am on 14/07/2011 regarding my request to provide me detail of I.D. address from where they got the mail for cancellation.She assured me to provide the detail next day after noon by 1:00 pm & she has given the another name, who is handling the department to provide me the detail. Mr.Akshay is the guy who is handling the technical department, but whole day i tried his number but he did not respond.Please help me to get the detail otherwise i am going to file a suit for harrasing me and wastage of my money and time.
            I too have been cheated by this company. In fact, out of around $5000 USD. One round trip I cancelled and have yet to receive the refund, even though I did as instructed and BOTH faxed and emailed my signed cancellation letter. Another round trip I tried to change the return flight date. I was told it had been successfully changed after I agreed to the $500 change fee. The next day I received an itinerary which DID NOT HAVE THE CHANGED DATE. So, I emailed the customercare email address to complain of this, only to find not only did no change occur after that, but they charged me $500 TWICE. I am a U.S. citizen who will be visiting India for the next 3 months. Where do I go to begin sue'ing this company? U.S. lawyer, Indian lawyer, firm? This is insane.

              i had booked air tickets for me and my wife from bangalore to mumbai, confirmation ID(FLT[protected] from bangalore to mumabi on 9th sept and from mumbai to bangalore on 12th sept. But to my surprise the printout/confirmation sent to my mail had the dates interchanged, that was mumbai to blore on the 9th and blore to mumbai on the 12th sept 2010. the error caused may kindly be looked into and the cancellation fee charged may kindly be refunded since i did not make any mistake when i booked my ticket. the date i booked the ticket was 4th march 2010.

                Hi,

                I purchased a ticket from Makemytrip.com using my Credit Card to Travel from New York to Chennai. The total cost was 52,000. My card was charged twice for the same transaction and there was no response after repeated mails. Everytime I called the customer care, using ISD from USA to India, I was put on hold for 30mins and each time the customer service representative gave me some story and cut the call. Also, for every new call, I was asked to quote the ExtensionNumber of the representative who spoke to me previously. But when I ask the representative for their extension, they refuse to give saying that it is against company policies. My bank that issued me the card is showing clear proof that my the merchant came for settlement twice. Makemytrip is absolutely fraudeulent in their approach and do not treat any customer with courtesy. They give very rude replies on phone and keep lying that someone will call you, someone will mail you. I would like to use this forum to inform people that please do not make any online transcations with make my trip.

                  On Jan2nd, 2010 I booked my flight tickets from Hyderabad to Lucknow (Price was Rs.6044/-) using makemytrip.com. With the tickets I have traveled on 5th Jan, 2010 and on 16th Jn, 2010 I again booked two tickets for my wife and daughter (price was Rs.11482/-) from Hyderabad to Lucknow. This time also I used makemytrip.com. On 18th when I went to my bank for updating my passbook to my surprise I have noticed the charges both the times were redundant. I immediately called makemytrip.com customer care and technical departments and I even tried the local office, but all in vain. Finally I wrote them and I have sent them all the details. Finally they responded and said they cannot see the redundant charges and bla bla bla. After I insisted this time they said they will pass it to the technical department and on 19th I received a call from one of their members and they told me that they have received the amount twice both the times and told me that they have refunded it just then. But on Monday when I went to update my passbook unfortunately I have received only in one case (Rs. 11482/-) and the other (Rs.6044/-) I never received. They still owe me Rs. 6044/- and I was asked to verify with my branch and I did filed a complaint with my branch and they cannot trace it and I even filed a complaint with my ATM card people. All my trails are getting wasted and I cannot find any solution. Now if it helps to solve it I have some confirmation numbers that makemytrip person gave me when he called me. It says for Rs. 6044/- the number is CCA[protected]. I don't know what is this and what am I suppose to do with this number?
                  Can you please help me in solving this and I wanted to file a case against makemytrip.com for causing me all sort of troubles all these days. Also, in this case do you think I can file fraudulent charges on makemytrip, on the first place for charging me twice and secondly for giving me wrong information by refunding only one charge and keeping the second one with them.

                    Cancellation for booking ID's FLT[protected] and FLT[protected] were made via Make My Trip Website. The cancellations were made before April 17, 2009
                    Refund amounted to Rs. 16.356 only. ( Rs. 3,879 * 2 and Rs. 4,299*2). However refund of Rs. 3,879 has not been received till date i.e May 19, 2010.
                    Repeated attempts to get in touch with Make my trip have not resulted in any positive feed back

                      This complaint is regarding a pathetic travelling experience arranged by MakeMyTrip india Pvt Ltd. I had booked a package called "Himachal Hues" scehduled on 8th May ex-Mumbai. This package was for Delhi, Shimla, Manali & Chandigarh. We were 17people in that particular tour. From day 1 when we boarded the ac bus in Delhi I had doubt regarding the condition of the bus. I had spoken to Mr. Ashish Kaundal of MakeMyTrip regarding the condition of the vehicle and asked him to replace it with another bus. he denied it. Now when we started for Shimla, it was a nightmare for us as that vehicle took 14 hours to reach Shimla which was expected to take at most 10 hours. This happened not because of traffic or poor road condition, rather because of the condition of the vehicle. Similar thing happened from Shimla to Manali and from Manali to Chandigarh. This tour was supposed to be an escorted tour, but the guide named as Nadeem Khan was not playing the role of a guide as he was travelling for this tour for the first time. I wonder how can a tour company arrange a guide who is not being into those places before? This has caused to miss some sight scenes as that guy was not aware of those places. We brought this fact also infront of makemytrip people and they assured me that in manali they will arrange a local guide. But we were stunned that there was no local guide at Manali too. The worst happened when we reached Chandigarh. It took 14 Hours to reach Chandigarh from Manali as we were demanding to change that vehicle by which we were supposed to travel back at Delhi at next day. When we were asking the Driver to drive little faster he said that he can not drive faster as there was problem in the steering. He also told that if he tries to drive fast then there might be brake failure also. I wonder how we can have this kind o[censored]nsafe vehicle for this tour which includes lot of hilly areas. We also came to know this driver is having a case against him.Driver Satish khurana also tried to abuse and threaten us. We informed these incidents to MakeMyTrip and still they didn't change the vehicle and helplessly we had to come back to Delhi with that same vehicle taking our life in danger.

                        This is with reference to the hotel booking id no.HTL [protected] of Estrela Do Mar Resort-A Beach Property Goa for two person on 22 February 2009. and recieved a mail fromMy booking was cancelled and I was told that the money will be refunded to me. You can see the email trail since 22 Feb 2009. Even after several reminders and communication to you, still I am waiting for refund to be done.

                        I got a mail from Amandeep.[protected]@makemytrip.com confirming the refund of Rs 9487/-(Nine thousand four hundred and eighty) on 22 February 2009 at 4:40:50PM,Then again got a mail from [protected]@makemytrip.com on 05 April 2009 at 9:28AM, after waiting for too long I AGAIN MAILED TO [protected]@makemytrip.com on 18 April 2009 at 12:28PM and again got a refund confirmation mail from [protected]@makemytrip.com on 29 april 2009 at 05:08PM but have not recieved any refund. AGAIN I MAILED TO Amandeep.[protected]@makemytrip.com on 11 october 2009 at 01:52AM. BUT...................EVERYTHING IN VAIN THE IMPRESSION I GOT FROM YOUR SIDE IS THAT YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT BOTHERED TO KEEP YOUR COMMITMENTS AND REFUND MY HARD EARNED MONEY,SO THIS IS FOR THE LAST TIME I AM WRITING TO YOU.I WANT MY 9487/- RUPEES WITH INTEREST AND THE INTEREST PART THAT HAS BEEN LEVIED ON MY CITI BANK CREDIT CARD ON THIS AMOUNT.DO RESPOND TO ME WITHIN 3 DAYS OR I'LL SERVE YOU WITH LEGAL NOTICE AND WILL ALSO PUT UP THIS CASE IN FRONT OF THE MEDIA. After this I have stopped booking any ticket through makemytrip.com because I do not have any faith left in your process and procedures.                           Though Cancellation done on Feb 19 2010, I have not received any refund till date. Also I called customer care at least 10 + time however they are not able to give any concrete answer. They always gives different reasons and they have permanent reason that they have escalated to concern department and things would be done in 72 hours. That 72 H has not come in last 2 months.
                          Also the web site is not giving the correct status about refund and saying that amount would be refunded till 26 March 2010
                          Let me know what could be further action which can be taken on the same

                          Make My Trip — Refund not done

                          I made a cancellation on 22nd of March 2011 for the booking Id IN1103R0111606
                          and the cancellation no. is IN1103R0111606 I was supposed to get the money refund by 29th of March But till today I havent heard anything
                          When ever I call them they say they have a technical failure and money will be refunded in next 5 working days. This nothing but utter harassment of consumers.

                          I booked an international flight from Hyderabad to Singapore. And I canceled it before few days of flight date. It been two months, I havent recieved my money back.
                          I have called several times to customer care, no response. I have written to management chain, no response.
                          All they say is 'sincere apology', but I hardly feel you really mean that.
                          I have been writing to these unprofessional guys on daily basis & yet nothing moves in any direction. Makemy Trip claims big in their adds but it so hollow from inside for customer service. I dont think they even know meaning of customer service. Just imagine you have to run behind to get your own money back.
                          Some body responded me on 8th Dec that they would get back in 48 hrs, but till now, 16th Dec, nothing has happened.
                          You & your money at risk while you deal with makemy trip......!

                            I had made a single room reservation through makemytrip for 2 guests at Hotel Arma Residency, Mumbai for check-in date 08-May-2010 and check-out date 09-May-2010. The amount was Rs.1723/- for the room + Rs.100/- (transaction charges of makemytrip for booking over the phone). The total I should have been charged is Rs.1823/- but I have instead been charged Rs.7292/-...an amount 4 times higher. I need an immediate refund of the same. While making my booking over the phone on 06-May-2010 at 4:30pm, Rajneet (ext.2755) confessed that she had incorrectly charged the card twice but my bank statement clearly states that she has mistakenly/fraudulently charged the card 4 times. I expect an immediate response from you and the refund reversed back to my credit card without any further delays as it has already been 7 days since my booking was made.

                            My brother Mr R Jayakumar had booked his ticket for his journey from Frankfurt to Chennai [one way] on 06.11.2009, journey date 15.12.2009 through Makemy Trip.com. The fares were shown as 35 k INR, hence he proceeded with the booking by using his card. After the booking was over he received a message that his card was charged with 47 K INR. He was surprised and checked the makemy trip web site as well as with the Emirates web site and confirmed that the fare is only 35 K INR. Immediately within 24 hrs he lodged a complaint to makemy trip about excess charges. Since then we are following up with makemy trip but in vain. They are not resolved the issue and keep on dragging the matter by seeking 24 hrs, 48 hrs and 72 hrs and again 24, 48 like that. I have contacted Gaurav, Dhairya, Gitanjali, Piyush[Sr. Executive], Ankit, Nishant and now holding the line and speaking to Ms Anjali [20.11.2009, 10.30 p.m.] and one Mr Rizwan, Team Leader came on line just now. This is how they cheat the common man. Is there is any body to stop such cheaters. These web sites are making big advertisements and under the nose cheating the public with their hard earned money.

                              I got coupons from MakeMyTrip Shiftthoughts on hoilday booking and domestic/international travel. They charged me around Rs. 7000/- for this.
                              Not more than one coupon can be used for one transaction which was not told to me at the time when they offered me this package of vouchers.
                              The holiday coupons are 2 in number worth Rs 3500/- each.
                              And 2 nights 3 days stay in a hotel for a holiday costs around Rs. 3500/- per person.
                              This means that if I am booking a hotel room for holiday for two, I cannot use both the coupons. Like this there are some glitches in other coupons which are offered.
                              I have found other cases too like this who are victims of this fraudulent campaign by MakeMyTrip.

                              I would like to move them into Consumer Court. Also request other victims to join hands and fight against them. Please mail me at [protected]@gmail.com for the same. Even I am reachable at my mobile @ [protected]

                                  I booked my air tickets ( indigo flight 6E 134, BOOKING ID FLT[protected] on line thorugh make my trip on 5/0/2010 for the date of 29/04/2010 timing was 5:45 am, I miss my flight due to not mention such important point on the air tickets that you have to be arrive there before 1 hour , i arrive there before 26 minutes from the departure of my flight on above all that neither airlines authority allow me to go nor they cancel my air tickets , whereas it clearly mentioned on air tickets ( if you are cancelling or rescheduling your flight within 6 hours of its departure time , kindly contact the airline directly)
                                  Now who is the responsible authority for that... I WANT MY MONEY BACK . this is the purely case of hidden information which a customer have right to know clearly, this is a basic information

                                    I booked tickets for two from SRINAGAR to MUMBAI on 13 th Sep 09 through online portal of makemytip. On 13 th Sep 09, morning i got call from JETLITE srinagar counter that
                                    FLIGHT S2-672 had got cancelled because of some or other reason. I was offered refund or a open ticket. I opted for open tkt. But few days back when i contacted jetlite for booking with reference to open ticket, They said they have already refunded full amount to booking agent(i.e MAKE MY TRIP) . When i contacted MAKEMYTRIP, their executive said that they have received only Rs.207/-per person whereas the total amount is Rs. 5844/-.From then i'm continously mailing & calling MAKEMYTRIP but not getting proper reply. All above they are asking me to get scan documents from jetlite where full refund to MAKEMYTRIP is shown.
                                    I am pissed off between AIRLINES & MAKEMYTRIP. Also wasted lot of time in calling & explaining both.

                                    You are requested to intervene & help me to get full refund which i deserve.

                                      Hi,
                                      I had booked six tickets on makemytrip.com for domestic travel of my parents-in-law and brother-in-law within India. Unfortunately, due to the unexpected demise of my father-in-law a month before, I had to cancel 4 of these tickets. The concerned airlines, Kingfisher and Indigo Air were extremely accommodating. Both canceled their tickets and even issued full refund on my father-in-law's tickets (i.e. they refunded the ticket price and the cancellation charges).

                                      I was informed by makemytrip customer service that as a goodwill gesture they will also issue a full refund as soon as I have furnished the death certificate, which I did within a week. Then, between Jan 29th and Feb 4th I received several emails confirming that all refunds have been initiated and entire amount should reflect in my bank account within 7 business days. But, despite almost 5 weeks delay, I received refund for only 1 ticket. I tried to contact makemytrip customer service more than 10 times and every time I was told that someone will call me back to resolve the issue, but in vain.

                                      Finally, I had to contact Better Business Bureau, a US-based business monitoring non-profit organization, which has good clout over such unethical practices. I have used them sucessfully in the past but this time even they failed to secure a satisfactory result. Please see their frustated response below:

In the afternoon, visit the Martyr's Memorial at Panchpulla; en route visit Satdhara, famous for its water stream that contains mica and has medicinal properties.

                                        DAY 9: EXCURSION TO KHAJJIAR (23 KMS / APPROX 1 HOUR DRIVE)
                                        Drive to Khajjiar, a scenic spot set amidst a backdrop of dense pines, deodars and lush green meadows. Khajjiar is exquisitely nestled amidst the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the western Himalayas , providing a panoramic and breathtaking view to the visitors.

                                        DAY 10: DALHOUSIE
                                        Transfer to Jammu or Pathankot/ Delhi railway station or Jammu airport for your onward journey.

                                        After reaching manali i recieved a sms from the tour operator asking me to call them as it was urgent.On calling them i learned that my hotel booking for Dharamshala was not confirmed by them and reason given was IPL matches in Dharamshala.I asked Make my trip to terminate the trip at manali and refund my balance money or else book me alternately for a tour of agra and jaipur.But both these request were turned down and i was asked to extened 1 night stay in manali and then proceedto kasauli,chandigarh and then delhi.
                                        amended itinerary was as follows

                                        I had no option but to agree to them as i had already paid the complete amount to them.But my nightmare did not end there,on reaching Kasauli i was shocked to learn that the hotel booked for me was in a place called Barog which was 20 KM away from Kasauli.On contacting make my trip i was told that the hotel is in Kasauli.I explained to them that i had already been to kasauli and i was told that that particular hotel was in Barog by the Hotel Management at Barog.On trying to contact make my trip again my call were unanswered and had to unwillingly check in at that hotel.I was not even informed about the local sightseeing that would be shown to me by the tour operator.
                                        I sent a mail to the person who had booked me for this trip ,Poonam Chamoli about her unprofessional behavior and all the hardships i had to face due to them but all my complaints fell on deaf ears.

                                        On reaching Chandigarh i learnt that the hotel where i was supposed to be put up was not booked for me and i was shifted to a third grade hotel where the a/c was not functioning and the room was very filthy.On complaining again and blasting make my trip personnel they told me to wait for 10 mins and they would book in another hotel which was ridiculous as i had already checked in that hotel 2 hours back.

                                        I was told that i would be compensated for all the hardships and inconvenience and that i would receive a call in that regard the next day evening after i reach Delhi but i haven't received any calls from.

                                        Please help and and advice as to what course of action do i take.
