WORST every customer service. After spending last 3 hours trying to change one ticket, I completely give up on this company. and can you believe it in the morning I had got a call from this company HR representative to join at a senior management position. I would not recommend anyone to book tickets through make my trip !!!!

I had entered in dates for Oct 30th, system threw me option for Oct 31st and I accidentally book it for Oct 31st ! I call up within a few seconds and I am put on hold by a rep called Rahul for some 30 minutes and there after the phone dies. Post that make some 4-5 calls and each time explain the whole incident and then at the end I am being told you need to pay 3500 extra to change the date ! It was not a date I had asked for first of all then after being through so much of back and fro I am asked for paying up this much of amount ! This doesn't even justify. On top of that they have a staff which is arrogant and unfriendly. The last girl I speak to Parul refuuses to transfer my call to her senior and then puts me on hold for some 15 minutes , again till when the phone dies !
I will NEVER EVER recommend make my trip to anyone who is looking for a hassle free holiday or bookings. Their customer service policies are so anti customer.

Make mytrip charges you Rs. 150 or more (depends on type of travel I believe) for booking the ticket, but they add no value what so ever to the whole transaction. Such people are best avoided.

    Sir,

    I have done a transaction of amount Rs 5693.0 with MakeMytrip on 8-sep-2010.
    Booking did not happen , but amount was deducted, and (my bank also connfirmed) the Makemy trip team told me amount is with them, but even after so many calls and requests, they have not yet refunded my amount.They always ask for 72 hours duration , but they never come back.

      I had booked for a trip frm Mumbai to Jaipur,Jodhpur ,Udaipur and back to Mum on 17/9/10 for vacation intended fto start from December 25,2010 onwards thru makemytrip.com.(Ahmedabad office) Since the booking was online and the vouchers/air tickets were to come vide emails, I did not reject the customer interface by Ahmedabad office though I was based in Mumbai.However that was the beginning of my problem. While booking the return airticket through IVR as directed by their executive Anita Dewnani of Ahmdbad office, the booking got cancelled/rejected. But the dr to my acc of Rs.9616 did not get reverted. I subsequently, again on the excutive's direction tried and was successful in booking the return flight which had got cancelled earlier.

      However my grievance of not getting the credit entry in my bill stands today also as
      no one is taking the onus of resolving this issue. I got a sms and also a mail on 17.9.10 stating that it would be resolved in 2 buss days, but since this did not happen and I enquired after a week I was told it would take 7 more days in the last week of September 2010. I am still struggling. The Ahmedabad office people Haresh shah and
      Anita Dewnani have shrugged off responsibility and have said that it is the Gurgaon office's work and ask me to follow up with that office. I am not even given the correct nos or names of persons. Every time I call up the toll nos it either goes to a different person or to IVR. The emails of assurances and the customer feedback forms filled by me to voice my grievance has also gone waste as the typical computer generated replies of "looking into your complaint and we shall shprtly revert" is only what I get..

      Make My Trip is the most disgusting operator i have come accross. Their team is an absolute bunch of jokers. Most of them agents are themselves not familiar with how their own internal system functions. Calls made to their toll free nos land at a different location each time. Absolutely unprofessional guys. When you select the language option as english you will soon discover that the person on the other side has probably done english honors from Timbaktoo. Please dont ever make a mistake of booking any sort of package holidays with them. Even their so called Head of Customer Delight-Geeta is casual and least bothered about customer escalations. I think its just a matter of time, sooner or later this unprofessional company will run out of business. Absolutely lousy guys.

        I booked my international holiday package with make my trip today.:
        Reference ID:IN1010B05643
        After so many surprises (bad) of hidden charges during booking/planning of the trip with make my trip and , finally I had to face a worst surprise from your Make my trip. Initially, they asked and informed (by mail) that I have to pay certain amount for booking fee. I paind the money and did booking but after 2 hrs when payment was realised, they started calling me and asked for more money (which is more than 50% of the total trip cost ) with waring that if I don't do same day than they will cancel my flights and everything.

        When I asked why they have not informed this earlier before making the booking they are simply saying.. " SORRY Sir!!...But you have to make all the payment!! "

        This was worst situation I am facing with any of travel agent in India and abroad. How can some body change their terms and condition conditions like that after deal and start black mailing after booking and taking money. Atleast this is not excepected from india's number one travel agency.

        Appreciate your immediate action on this.

          This is in regard to the most irresponsible customer service I have ever experienced, from none other than the very famous MAKEMYTRIP.COM.....
          This is with reference to the refund of my cancelled ticket (Booking ID FLT [protected], PNR -8RG8JE).
          I have cancelled by ticket on 27.02.2010, and cancellation confirmation was received on same day mentioning that the amount will be credited in my account with in seven working days. But it is almost more than seven months are passed and the refund amount was not received in my account till date. A copy of bank detailed already send to service provider.

          We want MakeMyTrip.com to refund the amount of the tickets as they did not serve the purpose.

            In March I took air ticket from Delhi to Bangalore from Makemytrip, after few days I got call from Makemytrip that my number has been selected for gift voucher of worth 22000 Rs for Holiday, for which I need to pay around 5500 rs, Initially I was not ready but they used to call me everyday and tried to convenience me and they conveniences that makemytrip executives will customize holiday package to meet my budget and requirement, as I had plan to get married in November so I bought their vouchers.
            Please find below my voucher details:

            1. Voucher Description: Two International Holiday Discount Voucher worth Rs.5000/- each – Total Value Rs.10,000/-

            I wanted to plan holidays in November end regarding that, I Contacted MakeMyTrip number of times.

            I called on toll free number 3-4 times, every-time some different executive picked up phone and took all my information, but never called me back.

            Then I wrote mail and got reference number (Reference ID: [[protected]]) but again same story, none of the executive contacted me and no reply for mail.

            Then I went twice in MakeMytrip office Bangalore (M. G. Road), but didn't get proper response again. First time I met some executive (Sheetal), she took my number, after that she didn't called me, even when I called she said she was busy and then when I went again next week, but after sitting more then 1/2 hr nobody entertained me and the main reason was, the girl entertained me first time was not in office.

            I don't know what was the main reason why nobody in MakeMyTrip entertained me properly, may be I had gift vouchers which I wanted to redeemed against booking.

            After that I wrote mail to Makemy trip about my compalints, but they didn't replied.

            Then I called Makemy trip Help Desk[protected] to book return ticket from Delhi to Bangalore, to redeem my domestic travel voucher, because to redeem these vouchers we ca do booking only on phone, then One executive Neha Mehta picked up my call and she booked but she was asking 250 rs charges to book on phone, but somehow I convinced her not to take extra charges. But what I can conclude from this that if some customer will not argue then makemytrip team will take charges of 250 rs to redeem 500 rs vouchers. As I had to book hotel also in Gangtok so she said that she will call me next day, but again she didn't call me, may the reason was I was going to redeem my vouchers and will not pay charges. Next day again I called MakeMytrip help desk to book hotel, but executive picked phone was saying that I can not redeem my voucher on phone, he was saying I have some mis conception and he was not ready to listen anything. I wrote mail to Neha that I want to book please help me, but she again not replied.

            So after following up from 2 months to redeem my vouchers with Makemy trip, I have decided to file complaint against them. Please do the needful as this is clear case of fraud.

            Please let me know if you want any other information from my side.

              Make My trip is selling festival promotion offer over phone,
              On phone they are not giving proper information and ask to by offer on the spot.
              I also purchased the same offer, at that time they mentiod that I can use the voucher for Air Travel tickets.
              Now when I get the voucher it says vouchers can be used only for Holiday pakages.
              From last 2 days I am trying to call them but no one is responding on given numbers.

              Don't Buy any such offer over phone.

                We, raja aijaz and mohd. yaqoob wani booked online air tickets from Delhi to Srinagar (and return ticket) on makemytrip.com on Tuesday 24 Aug, 2010. Our return ticket on 7th oct. was supposed to be non-stop and and we were supposed to board flight no.151 at 11:45 a.m but we were issued boarding passes for flight no.154 and were boarded at 1:45 p.m. Our plane landed in Delhi at 4:00 p.m. and as a result we were unable to reach to New Delhi railway station. As we could not get reservation in the trains, we were forced to board a bus from Delhi to Bareilly leading not only loss of our valuable time but leading to great suffering as we reached Bareilly in morning at 6:30 a.m.
                I am attaching a jpg format of air ticket, boarding pass and railway ticket. I hope that necessary action will be taken, so that no other person will suffers in future as we have.

                  I tried booking my flight from banaglore to ahmedabad via makemytrip.com TWICE, both times it deducted my balance from my account and ticket did not got generated.

                  And it is almost 24 hours to be and still my cash has not been refunded.

                  My Bank Account statement speaks that it was credited in the account named TECHPROCESS SOLUTION.

                  Kindly do the needful.

                    I have been facing severe issues with my refund of 22,000 from Make My Trip.

                    All it started a month ago(sep 7th 2010) when i booked my air ticket and the transaction got cancelled. I had calling Make My trip since then and they have been telling that the money is in their accounts department, and it will take 72 hours to refund.

                    It has been a mental trauma since then that i keep them calling again and again. But still they say the same thing of 72 Hrs. I had got a mail after i lodged a complain with them. I have attached the details of the mail sent by them. They has asked my bank statements, i have also sent them so actuall they are aware of my accounts as well.

                    Make my trip , please refund my money . as i believe it is having a good will in the market.

                    In my case also makemytrip is not refunding me the amount although I have submitted every particulars as requested by them. They send me same type of letter as above and told me to wait 72 hours.
                    My flight Booking ID is FLT[protected] and Cancellation Reference No. is IN1010R0007250. As per their website Refund Process initiated on 2nd October, 2010 and Expected Refund date was 9th October, 2010.

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      Please note that this complaint is with regard to International holidays booked with makemytrip.Just to brief,I have booked a package tour to Mauritius for 6 days & 7 nights starting from 8th Sep,10 with makemytrip well in advance paying 20000 INR.Due to some circumstances , we were not able to make it and when I wrote it to Makemytrip and asked for gving us the option to postpone the dates and adjust the booking amount (ofcourse with reasonable deductions) with the new dates,they never replied.

                      I still keep on forwarding the mails,the mails are read but I never received a reply from them.

                      Makemytrip is requested to reply for following queries,

                      1) Why there was no confirmation from makemytrip for Hotel & flight bookings?(except that the booking amount receipt said tentative booking)
                      2) Why were booking itineraries for Hotel & flight not sent if I did not write to cancel the tour?I was enquiring about postponement details and if it was not possible, we could have been contacted for confirmation of cancellation.

                      Please note that I have not informed makemytrip for cancellation of the said tour.
                      3)I never received any mail from makemytrip informing me about cancellation of the tour.
                      4) Whenever I wrote emails to ask for mode of payment and booking confirmation,the mails were read but never replied.

                      5)Please arrange to convey me the conversation date if there was any from your end informing us about cancellation or any mail confirming the final booking of the said tour.

                      Your reply shall be highly appreciated.Please note that since I did not ask to cancel the tour,makemytrip was supposed to inform me about the bookings made for 8th Sep if the postponement was not possible.
                      Please be informed that there was no conversation from makemytrip end.

                      Is this the way ,you deal with customers?In case I do not receive a reply for next few days,I will be forced to take up the matter with concerned authorities as in this case makemytrip was responsible to send us the booking details if we did nt ask for cancellation.

                        I HAVE BOOKED TICKET VIDE BOOKING ID NF[protected] DATED 10/09/2010 FOR A FLIGHT ON 11TH SEPT-10 FROM AHMEDABAD TO MUMBAI IN SPICEJET AND DUE TO SOME REASON I HAVE TO CANCEL THE TICKET AND I CALLED ON NO. [protected] AND CANCELLED MY TICKET VIDE CANCELLATION REFERENCE NO. IN1009R0036640 DATE 10/09/2010 WHICH REFUND AMOUNT WAS 1753/- AND WAS TOLD TO GET REFUND WITHIN 7 DAYS BUT TILL 29/09/2010 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND.
                        EVEN I HAD A TALK WITH MR. AMIT ON HELPLINE NO. ON 24/09/2010 BUT HE TOLD ME THAT IT WILL BE REFUNDED ON 27/09/2010 BUT STILL I HAVE'NT RECEIVED REFUND AND THE I AGAIN CALLED ON 29/09/2010 AND TALK WITH VIJAY AT 12 PM FOR WHICH I WAS GIVEN COMPLAINT NO. IN1009R0104282 STATING THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE REFUND TOMORROW BUT STILL I AM WAITING TO GET REFUND.

                        DAILY I AM TELLING TO 10 PERSONS IN MY FRIEND CIRCLE THAT DONT BOOK TICKET FROM MAKEMY TRIP AS IT IS TIDEOUS JOB TO GET REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION.

                        TICKET WAS BOOKED FROM MY CREDIT CARD A/C IN THE NAME OF SINI RAJESH WHICH WAS CANCELLED.

                        Make My Trip — Non Receipt of Refund

                        I had booked my tickets for Mumbai - Ahmedabad route on 29th June 2010 and cancelled the same on 3rd July 2010 due to certain personal reasons.
                        I have not received the refund of Rs.1722/- till date.Everytime i call the customer care, the executive replies saying it will be refunded in couple of working days.I can conclude that the service is pathetic and i advice that no one should go for the services of Make My Trip.

                        I booked a ticket through IRCTC on internet from Ajmer to Ahmedabad (boarding at Beawar) and a PNR No. [protected] issued with confirmed ticket of class - 3AC. the date of journey was[protected] and train No. 14311, name of passenger Mr. Deepak Kumar. Unfortunatly, the train cancelled due to Jat agitation. After verifying from internet that showing "charting not done - train cancelled"; I cancelled the ticket through internet on[protected] at 16.15 hrs. But, I am sorry to state that in-spite of lapse of about ten days, I did not receive the refund of cancelled ticket. U are requested to kindly look into the matter personally and credit the amount of refund to my net account of HDFC and oblige.

                        I booked air ticket through online booking portal of MAKEMYTRIP ON 02/10/2011 for travel from Ahmadabad to Seattle(u s) journey date 1/12/2011(since completed) and from Seattle(u s) to Ahmadabad on 23/05/2012.
                        The booking ID is IN1110B00676.Due to unavoidable circumstances I Requested to change the date of journey or to cancel the ticket and refund the fare after deducting usual charges.The company refused to favour stating that once the journey is started date of subsequent journey can't be changed and fare can't be refunded as per airline rule.This reason of the company is not acceptable as the same is not included in the ticket along with other conditions.I am contacting with the company through mails/phone calls but company is totally non cooperative and practicing unethical means under the pretext o[censored]nwritten rules to cheat me besides giving me mental agony and huge financial loss
                        Your help is sought to resolve the issue
                        there are so many complaints against make my trip---they have let down so many customers

                          I have Booked a Bus Ticket Fom Jaipur to Agra, Through Make My Trip, PNR Number: IYMLNH, make mytrip Booking Id: NU[protected] , date: 26/09/2010, through Kalpana Travels, they Charged 220 from me, yesterday when i reached to Kalpana Travels, they Told me that we dont have any Bus Services to Agra From Last Five Years, this cause the conflict between me and travel operator, i tried to Makemytrip Customer Care but unable to Call, at last i went Roadways, and take the bus to Agra From There, i have suffering from Typhoid Fever, i came to Agra by Sitting all Night, and vomit thrice, lost my Bag also, sir amount is very small, 220 but the problem was very big to me, and i was mentally and physically harashed. requesting you to do the needfull.

                          What a surprise today i got a mail from Amit Sinha, Team Customer Delight, Make My Trip, and he is saying that they enquire from the vendor, and they told that bus was cancel due to Ayodhya Issue, its a surprising, while truth is this that they dont have any services to Agra, if they have services to Agra i am ready to Book again a ticket from Jaipur to Agra in same class, at same sechedule, i can proove that they dont have any services from Jaipur to Agra, they have ervice from Jaipur to Jhansi, Gwaliar . long Route only, their Bus passes through Agra from the Highway, Near Nahar at 2: am in Night, that is 25 km away from main city, i need a honest reply from make my trip, i dont want refund, because i did not loose the ticket amount, but also loose the luggage, and also physically and mentally harashed, i really want from make my trip that provide me a Honest Reply, and take some action that dont provide such wrong information in their site, i dont want that somebody else will suffer in same manner as i suffered, so i need justice from Consumer Grievence Forum Also.

                            I have done my booking thro'ake my trip & my booking refrence is NF [protected]. The booking is registered by Make my trip & the ticket is not yet issued to me. I have contacted them 3 times , first time to Jyothi, second time to Sonali & third time to Manoj Sharma but each one after half an hour of holding informs that I will get some one to talk to me in next half an hour but later there is no response from them.

                            The service level provided by Make my trip is highly poor & questionable.

                              hi...this is rajesh shahi.i booked a rail ticket through make my trip.com and i entered my credit catd details.At the first instance it didnot accept my credit card and it shows due to some technical problems we cant process the transaction,then i called the customer service agent and the agent advised me to use debit card or some other source of payment.I again processed the transaction and entered my debit card details and again i got the same error message.After some time I log on to my account and saw that there were three different tarnsactions under the booked history and it showed that the amount has been taken and tickets could not be booked.Later,i spoke to the customer service agent named deepika and trust me she was pathetic,she did nto respond and i think she doesnt know anything about the customer service,I asked for the supervisor and she didnt transfer the call as well.She was rude and later she disconnected the call.This was the worst customer service experience i ever had.I personally dont recommend any one to use the website.

                                hi,

                                I had logged into makemytrip.com for 1 hour regarding my travel plans from US to India. The agent spent his own time and after an hour gives me an iternary which was not at all suited to me . I outrightly rejected it BUT to my surprise I get an email from the same person ( from this personal email id ) abusing me .

                                even after contactdiing the supervisors ( pragya.[protected]@makemytrip.com ;manisha.[protected]@makemytrip.com ) , they didnt help me on anything instead they were doubting if am fabricating on myself by making a fake complaint.
                                I asked for the manager ( prabjot.[protected]@makemytrip.com) and even he didnt do anything to solve this complaint.. I had asked for COMPENSATION and reasons on why had this happened to a regular customer to MAKEMYTRIP.

                                I still do not have any information from MAKEMYTRIP on the COMPENSATION for this ABUSE email.

                                  i had booked a ticket with booking ID NF[protected] from makemytrip.com for srinagar-delhi for flight date of[protected]. Since the srinagar airport was declared unavailable for the said date, i cancelled the ticket after airline confirmed the full refund as also confirmed by makemytrip. But they only refunded half of amount vide cancellation no. IN1008R0086339 on[protected]. when contacted they said the there was system mistake and asked me to for few days for refund of rest amount. since then i have contacted them 4 times till today on[protected]. but they keep on deffering the refund by asking for 2 days or 3days wait and intimate that my case is under process. i had to pay interest on outstanding credit card bill from which the amount for ticket was paid.

                                    I have booked air ticket from Hyderabad to Johannesburg through makemytrip.com on 07th Sep 2010.After transferring the money through SBI net banking, my booking was not successful due to system error. I received an mail from makemytrip.com that my money will be refunded within 48 hours as the transaction was unsuccessful.From then whenever I contact customer service they keep extending the request to 5 days to 7 days. I confirmed with the bank that money has been transferred to makemytrip account. It's large amount in the transaction and I am fearful if makemytrip will ever refund my money. I called them today again and they extended the wait time to another 7 days. They always keep the call on hold for long time and come back with the response that their account department is checking and they need 5 to 7 days more to verify. Sometime they even hung up line. Request you to help getting refund immediately as I was unable to book my flight as the money is blocked.Booking ref:IN1009B02628. Refund request number[protected].

                                      Booking ID: RAL[protected]. I'd canceled three train tickets on 19 August, 2010. Train number 2809, Howrah Mail. According to makemytrip site, I was supposed to get the refund (Rs 2,850) by 26 August.

                                      Since then, I've called makemytrip 7-8 times. Each time, I'm being given the same reply, "You'll definitely get your refund within 48 hours" and "the amount has been escalated to the accounts department". Which were all lies. I've repeatedly asked them why the refund isn't being done, what is the problem and can I help regarding the same, but each time I get the same reply. "You'll definitely get your refund sir, within 48 hours." Shameless liars, they are. Its 12 September now, 24 days since the cancellation. And the refund hasn't been made.

                                      Overall, it has been a harrowing experience. Once it even happened that the customer care executive asked me to stay on line and then hung up. I want to know why the refund hasn't been made till now, what was the problem. And of course, I want my money back. But nobody in makemytrip is listening. I'm disgusted at the way makemytrip handled the situation.

                                        This is full cheating from your side. My husband had paid Rs. 7000 towars MakeMyTrip for some discount offers that could be claimed on flights. When we went to claim this by booking tickets, this offer was denied saying its applicable only if there is a return journey also on flight.

                                        Fine. We are ready to book return, so we have planned to travel up and down from chennai and goa on 19th and 23rd nov but seeing the above heavy difference in rates, we have lost faith in this
