MakeMyTrip.com — Faulty reservation and possible nexus with an ailing airplane: Had to make two reservations for a single trip and paid twice | |||||
This is to inform you guys that 10 days prior i tried to make a reservation with MMT on their mobile app from DEL-MUM for a morning flight. After selecting the flights while proceeding it showed server error and asked to retry. While doing it and making the payment i see that the flights booked were not the morning one i selected but evening flights with Spicejet. I imediately raised this issue with their customer care. However, as you know they all are relatives of "parrot" and is good only in repeating the the lines thwy are trained with. They said it will take 48 hours to look into the matter and till then they can not help me. I had to make a seperate reservation with the Airline directly for the morning flights. After two days one Miss Singh calls me and says logs say i selected the evening flights only that too with Spicejet and asked if i had any screenshot for the same. That is rediculous. Without a screenshot they can not refund my money. So, if they say such things should it not be made mandatory for them to run a ticker clearly on their website asking each customer to take a screenshot on each step of any reservation. I doubt they have a nexus with the mentioned airline where in indulging in a illegal and fraudulant practice of diverting other airlines traffic to that particular one. It should be probed and justice should be done to thousands of passenger like me. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Guys, Be be informed that i tried to make a flight reservation with MMT. Wrong tickets issued and i had to make an another reservation for the same flights with the airline itself.
Approx 3500 were charged when the tickets were cancelled.
The airline at fault was a sick airline and i never thought of taking my flights with them. Therefore, i seriously doubt that there is a good possibility that MMT is diverting other airlines traffic to the sick one.
Their customer care people are the most helpless species in the world. Cant do anything except repeating the lines they are trained with.
Look for better option for your travel needs. There are plenty of option. Dont think of saving 500-1000 rupee and if you do, you will screw up your trips.

Yes great. First you book a worng itenarery and then deduct cancellation charge and refund the rest while compaling the passenger to pay for an another reservation.
