I booked an International Holiday Package. Unfortunately was not able to go because I had to submit my passport for official VISA processing. I sent the email for cancellation and have not received the refund or the status of refund is not known. The executive Mr. Vishal Bhanwal never reply to email. Please help. Its a very big amount. Dear Sir,

This issue has not been resolved yet. We haven't even received any email related to the amount to be refunded and the expected date of refund. It has been almost two months since cancellation. We don't even know the status

    I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Delhi return of 13th Feb from makemytrip. my booking id is ­NF[protected]. but due to delay air india did not allow us to board in the flight.we were 12 passengers, so cancel my tckt i call to makemytrip and they told me to call air india.after calling them they told me that they cancelled my tckt from there end but amount will be refung by makemytrip. no self response i got from makemytrip so i call them on 3rd march then they told me that i have to cancel that tckt from there site also. So i did the process and they told me it will take 7 working days to refund but when its more then 10 days i chkd my account on 15th march i got the same status after calling them they told me now i have to submit the hard copy of cancelled tckt. if i did not call them they did not call me ever i think. and as on today date same status is reflecting on there website that your request is under process. What should i do now ? they never call me never mailed me the status until unless i called them and no positive response from their side as normally they called me when my transaction failed.

        I have booked a ticket through make my trip website and I cancelled a day before the journey date(100115 and Booking ID NF[protected]. After writing many complaints and creating too many auto ids, I received Rs5113 as refund. But as per cancellation status the refund should be Rs13742. Also Makemytrip is very clever of asking stamped document from airlines which is not in practice and after delaying 2-3 months they will credit 1/3 amount as refund without any receipt, so that customers will stop asking refund and at the same time they will think whatever credited is enough. This is one kind of intelligent business where they earning and sucking blood of customers.

            I have booked one ticket on 13 th March and paid full amount and got confirmation mail from make my trip. (NN[protected] But unfortunately I am not received my ticket. I communicated with customer care department more than 10 times, that time they told me that e ticket is under process. Today morning again I called. Now they are telling that ticket is not available. After 1 hour again communicated with customer care department that time they are telling another story. My flight is cancelled (9w-556), I check with jet airways but flight is not cancelled. Then again I called to customer care then he is telling that by ticket is cancelled by jet airways. Every time they are telling new stories.i don't know what's happening there.please help me I want to fly on 20 th March

              My issue involves 2 booking IDs: NF[protected] and NF[protected]. The issue is regarding refund for SpiceJet flight from Cochin to New Delhi on Jan 6th, 2015. The flight was cancelled by SpiceJet on December 25th, 2014. Till now, almost 3 months, I have not received the refund and have got very poor customer service on every correspondence via email or telephone. Numerous excuses and lies have been told to me, which include that MakeMyTrip has not received the refund amount from Spicejet, MakeMyTrip does not know the bank account to which the refund amount is to be submitted, my supervisor requests have been denied by telephone agents, and if I got lucky to get a supervisor he makes empty promises. Following are the few details of the case that show the poor customer service I got from MakeMyTrip: 1) SpiceJet send the refund amount for both the booking IDs to MakeMyTrip on Jan 13th, 2015. I got the email confirmation of the transaction from SpiceJet 2) Rahul Jain (Rahul.[protected]@makemytrip.com) contacted me on Jan 25th to get detail of bank account to which the refund is to be deposited. I mail him the detail on Jan 25th and 29th but did not get any reply. On Jan 29th, my query is assigned a reference ID:[protected]. 3) On Feb 15th, Meena Rai lies to me that MakeMyTrip has not got the refund from SpiceJet and therefore I need to wait. I contacted SpiceJet and got the email confirmation mentioned in point no. 1. I send it to Meena Rai and she escalates my query to accounts dept for validation. However, nothing was resolved after weeks. In the meantime, I was contacted by Nikita Aswani and Nishant Paghadar, who gave me additional excuses and asked for more time to resolve the case 4) I contact customer service over the phone on March 2nd and spoke with a supervisor, Tanuj Roy Chowdhury. He told me that he will resolve this issue in 4 days. However, nothing happened. 5) I called customer service again on March 10th to talk with Tanuj, but I was told that by one agent that as per the policy he cannot transfer my call to supervisor, second agent told me that Tanuj is absent, third agent disconnected my call after putting me on hold to check with his supervisor (this has happened many times, so I am sure my calls were disconnected purposefully). Finally, I spoke with a supervisor, Harish Agrawal (Harish.[protected]@makemytrip.com). Harish told me that he will resolve this issue in 2 days. Harish emailed me after 2 days asking for details of bank account to which the refund is to be deposited (I had already given this detail on Jan 25th and this detail should have been on MakeMyTrip file when I booked the flight). I provided him the bank detail and he replied that the issue is being worked on and I should wait. I contacted him yesterday and have not heard back from him yet. 6) I called 3 agents today to speak with either Harish Agrawal or Tanuj Roy Chowdhury, but first two agents told me that neither of them are on the floor and rest of the supervisors on the floor are busy and cannot speak . The third agent put my call on hold to get his supervisor and the call disconnected, which has happened so many times when I insist to speak with a supervisor. Above are evidences of extremely bad service by MakeMyTrip to its customers. Nobody sincerely tried to resolve the issue, except sincerely making excuses and lying.

Later I realised the same was for 295000 from another tour and travels(yatra.com) On realising the mistake make my trip gave discount straight away of 25000 and presents them selves as if they have done a favour to me.                         Hi, Its worst experience with makemytrip as after booking the ticket when I postponed it to another date by paying the ticket diferential amount I have cancelled it. 1. Booked the ticket from Hyd - Dallas for Emirates flight which costs around40, 000. 2. Then postponed it to further date by paying the differential amount around 22, 000 then the total ticket costs me around 62k. 3. Cancelled the ticket then 10k has been deducted as cancellation charges by makemytrip 4. After following for refund amount 30 days they have refunded the first time booking paid amount ~25k (deducted 5k as postponing + 10k as cancellation from 40k ticket intial cost) 5. Then they are saying now that the diffential amount which I paid 22, 000 is non-refundable Its worst experience with makemytrip as attending customer care calls is taking more 30 min to connect. Initially when I asked about the refund they said that differential amount is refundable but now they are saying its not refundable.. Moreover I could not able to see the differential amount paid transaction in my bookings section for this ticket. I would suggest that not to use this website for ticket booking. No where mentioned the differential amount is not refundable in Cancellation rules. Thanks DK

                          This is not what I expected from Makemytrip, You have cancelled without my approval, I want full refund of my money . On what basis the cancellation was processed when there is no way it can be done in Makemytrip website. I didn't do the cancellation in Indigo site as well.I want to know what happened exactly and when this whole issue will be resolved Booking ID: NF[protected]. This is already 15 days and tried to reach make my trip customer care for morethan 30 times and they don't connect at all to the right person.

                            One of the biggest mistake I did was to use Makemytrip.com to book my tickets. I cancelled my ticket from New Delhi to Patna using Indigo airlines on 11th January, got notification from makemytrip on 18th January that it is confirmed. They even deducted their cancellation fees from me by 29th January Rs3500. Since then, my account says amount of Rs-13942. They refunded only amount Rs-1640 around. I have been calling them since then, everytime they say within 5 working days they will fix the issue. It's 3 months now. Every time, new customer care people picks up call and I have to explain everything once again. I live in Singapore, and every conversation takes 30-40 mins, including waiting time on hold for more than 20 mins. If I call the office here in Singapore, they say to contact India office. I have spoken to Mr. Chandan Sharma and then Mr. Shubham Sharma on 23rd Feb, 2015. On 3rd March 2015, I spoke to Miss Shalini Gupta. When Iasked her to give her office email i'd so that I can revert back to her, she gave me a fake i'd [protected]@makemytrip.com (as stated by gmail on failed delivery) I have called using international no. for almost 3 months now and every conversation last 40 mins in order to get refund of Rs13942. I am very much disappointed by this service and have no good words to say. Neither I shall ever use makemytrip nor I shall ever recommend anyone.

                                  my booking no NF[protected] was cancelled on 9 february 2015 and the refund amount has still not been given back. i checked the website 10 days before (around 4 march 2015) and my refund status was written completed but i still hadn't got refund i have called regularly to there customer care and the only response i've got is to wait for more days. The last time i called (7 march 2015) they asked me to wait for 4 days and assured me that i will get it back within those days ( which i haven't). there site has a complaints column in which i have escalated the complaint several times without a getting a response. they send autogenerated mail replies even on there official facebook page i'm a student and i feel completely harassed and torn up as i cannot afford this i have tried everyway to get my money back but in vain

                                  I guess your slow customer service couldn't initiate the funds for 8 days.

                                    On 13.03.2015, 1900 hrs we tried booking a ticket from Mumbai to kochi, we managed to until the last step however the AMOUNT WAS DEBITED from my account BUT I DINT RECEIVE THE TICKET. I immediately tried calling the customer service number ( which takes ages to get connected ). The most horrible part is the line keeps getting disconnected every time I started speaking to the executive. I narrated my problem almost to 10 people at the customer service, And no matter you call them at 8 in the evening or 9.30 in the morning they are always having high call volumes.                                       I have done the cancellation on 2/Jan/2015 for booking ID NF[protected]. I have not received the refund money in my account till date. I'm extremely frustrated and literally pissed off with your service.I had made 11 calls in the past three months to your customer service and till date I have not got any update on when I will be refunded with my money. If the issue is not sorted out in the next day or two I'm, going to take legal action against you. I have been waiting very patiently on this issue for the past three months. Please do respond ASAP.

                                        I have a strong complaint to make: 1) On March 5 I made a booking Bangalore-Houston-Bangalore as per Booking ID no.IN1503B9S034349. One lady called Anjali handled the booking.As per her suggestion I made the full payment of Rs 3, 46, 092.I even received the receipt from you based on that. I never received the tickets and later on visiting your site was shocked to note that Make My Trip had not even made the booking.In the process you had even taken the full amount from me.No one from your organization even bothered to call me after that and neither was my amount refunded. 2) On March 9 I again tried to find a similar ticket from your site.Immediately one lady called Arti Puri contacted me.Based on the discussion I again booked the Bangalore-Houston-Bangalore flight for Rs 3, 21, 334 as per Booking ID IN1503B9S063140.I requested her to adjust this amount with the amount already pending with Make My Trip.She told me that adjustment cannot be made as the previous amount had already been sent for refund. Arti told me that as a special case I needed to pay only Rs 50, 000 to book this ticket and the balance amount could be paid by March 16.The advance payment was immediately made and acknowledged by you.She also said that the previous amount would be refunded by March 12. 3) I have not received the refund till now.I spoke to your agent called Ashish just now and said that the refund will only be made by March 14 and that the original deadline of March 12 was wrong. 4) As a customer, that too of an International flight I am very disappointed by the attitude of Make My Trip.My money is stuck with you for no fault of mine and instead of acknowledging the mistake and immediately refunding the amount you are making me run around trying to get my own money back. 5) Are you also admitting that training given to staff members like Anjali, Arti and Ashish are so inadequate that they cannot solve the customer's problems. 6) It is so difficult to get through to your agents as you do not seem to have sufficient staff
