This is to inform that I am owner of 1 Swift Dzire VDi car and 1 New Alto800 car. I have been servicing both my cars from "Dewar's Garage Ltd." 14 British India Street, Kolkata - 700069 since the last 5 years. I have never stationed myself or was standing while the servicing/repair works being done to my vehicle.
Accidentally, yesterday (22.01.2014), when I have visited the above mentioned Garage/Workshop to collect my vehicle (Vehicle No. WB 06D 3520 - Swift DZire), to my surprise i have noticed that one of complains have not been addressed even after indicating the same in the job sheet 5 days earlier, when I have deposited the car to the workshop. Then I insisted on the work to be completed prior to my deliver of the car. In the said work two things have been changed in my front left door window panel, they are:
1. Lining, FR Fender L
2. Regulator Assy, Front
Incidentally, when those were changed I was standing in front of the car, and the new packet was opened for fitting the "Regulator Assy, Front", which had a MRP of Rs.617/-. On completion of the work, when the bill was prepared, to my utter surprise, I noticed that for this part, the bill has been raised for Rs.1, 209.52/-. (both are excluding service tax).
On enquiry with the Works Manager (Mr. G Sudhakar), I have been told that this is the common practice of billing as followed by Maruti, that even if the MRP might be low, the bill can of any value as the process is system driven, and the pricing is dynamic.
Although after indicating this issue to him, he was generous enough to charge me the bill as per MRP. But, my question is that in the name of "system driven process", either "Deewars Garage Ltd." or "Maruti Suzuki" is looting the customers, as always the customers is provided with Bills and not the Box / Packets while delivery of the car. And also it is not possible for the customers to stand and monitor the pricing & work being done, and in good faith we always give our cars to the Authorised Dealers of Maruti Suzuki in anticipation that nothing of this sort will happen.
So, after doing maintenance work of my car (servicing / repairing / insurance claim) through Dewar's Garage Ltd. for last 5 years, I now feel cheated and it creates immense amount of doubt in my mind that what quantum of money they have looted from me during this entire time period.
Also another aspect needs to be mentioned that for routine servicing on completion of 60K in my vehicle, i have been charged a bill which contains labour charges totallying to Rs.3, 850/-, that too even after calling and sending sms indicating about providing 15% discount on labour charges & 12% on wheel balancing. To utter astonishment, the discount amount totals to Rs.299.25 only.

Problem is that due their confusing procedures which they told us this delay happens we do not get our car and above all our will be starts on 10th January 2022 and we have no idea when we get the car.
So sir please help us how can we pay our EMI as if don't get the car.
We are tired of doing the process my father who has been apply for car is senior citizens retired ex service man, we are really helpless .
