I started my policy on 19/10/2013 which was a actually a trap by an Axis bank representative stating that the policy will be helpful to us. The yearly premium was RS. 200000 approx. The first three year we managed to pay the premium. But on the fourth year due to the financial crisis was not able to pay and decided to surrender the policy. But at that time they told if you surrender the amount you will get will be much lesser and you will be in loss. The above stated information was not stated by the Axis bank representative at the time of application. Now they have convinced us to take a break of 2 to 3 year and restart the policy again. But we want to know if you can change the policy term or premium amount so that we can not face the crisis. Request you to give a solution for the aforesaid problem as we have already paid 600000 and want to get atleast the premium amount or any other option which will be favourable to us.

    Got a policy proposed with the proposal number[protected]. The sales person promised elements of policy that are not as per policy. hence we opted out before the proposal being processed.

    Now when i check with the sales person, he tells that the proposal can be issued only after policy issued and no refund is possible.

    i would request the customer care team to look into the issue and process the refund asap

      I have max life insurance policy[protected] started in year august 2014 the name of shamsher singh of three annually installation but failed to carry forward due to illness in disc problem of which result i was in bed about two years and that time i lost my physical movement. After that my financial condition is not good so which i can forward with this policy. Now i want that my policy be refunded as am not able to continue this policy due to my financial condition after that illness.
      Now, i am requesting you to refund policy so that me not to go for other legal forums.

      We wish to clarify that the cancellation of a policy is strictly governed by the terms & conditions of the policy contract and these terms & conditions are part of our product approval processes with the regulator. As per the regulatory provisions, there is a free look period of 15 days during which the policyholder may approach the insurance company for cancellation (if not satisfied). This free look period starts from the date of receipt of the policy pack by the policyholder. In line with above, your policy pack including proposal form and benefit illustration was duly delivered at your mailing address through Speed Post vide air way on Aug 28, 2014. We have received your request for cancellation now, which is beyond the free look period of 15 days. Hence, we express our inability to cancel the policy and refund the premiums paid. Further, as per the terms & conditions mentioned in the policy contract this policy acquires surrender value if it has been in force for at least two (2) years and provided all the premiums that have fallen due have been received. Since we have not received the complete premium for first 2 years, there is no surrender value payable. Also, we wish to clarify that the policy pack status is inactive/lapsed due to non receipt of payment since Feb 13, 2016 (Revival period end date: Feb 13, 2018). Also, the same has been communicated to you on your registered email id. Do reach out if there's anything else we can help you with.

            Sir

            I am a 100% handicapped person in new delhi. I had to pay yearly premium for my policy no.[protected] with maxlife insurance.

            I received call from arti bhalla mob [protected] and then from mamta mob [protected] that as the insurance agent is not contacting me, they will deduct and will give 10% cashback and so i have to pay rs 68097 instead of rs 75000 as premium. When i asked them the details regarding my policy along with my date of birth, they had all the information.

            Therefore i trusted them and i transferred rs 68097 through neft from sbi hari nagar a/c [protected] on 1st may 2019 to canara bank, mall rd kanpur a/c[protected].

            I have come to know from maxlife that it is a fraud account. Therefore investigate how did my policy details were stolen from max life and return my hard earned money back.

The payment remitted was not made to Max Life Insurance but to a third party who in no way is related to Max Life Insurance. We request you to kindly: 1.             Dear Team

            Your response is highly discomforting. The fact is data has been stolen from your organization but rather than accepting it and taking some stern action, you are putting the responsibility of the same to the customer. This is not a new case and there are multiple case reported against Max on this platform itself. Some cases are more than two year old. What action has your organization taken to catch the fraudsters? It seems you are hand in glove with these fraudsters and selling client data to them. Otherwise there is no way anyone can get all these details about someone.There is definitely someone involved from your organization.

            I will do what I can with the best of my ability but please launch internal investigation and police complaint regarding the same and reimburse my hard earned money. Also return all the earlier premiums paid with interest. I do not want to maintain any relationship with an organization who is leaking confidential customer data.

              Its been more than one month i was surrender my policy[protected] due to some financial issue but still i am not getting any details from bank as well as from maxlife office. As per the axis bank agent i submitted all the documents whtever they are asking for and now they are playing with me and when i called to the coustemer care they are simply telling me ur surrender policy is inactive due to not submit the documents but when i ask to the axis bank agent its totally a different story. And he was saying its all done from his side. Now i don’t know what shall i am supposed to do now? And really they are very irresponsible and very bad behaviour towards coustmer. So i decided to go to the consumer court if they are not solving my problem within one week and also i want to make a complaint against the axis bank agaent.

I don`t know why you are taking so much time. your representative calls me that the issue has been resolved but when I download my Policy pack from your official site the problem is same as it was. They had updated the address but mistaken my corrected father name. I don`t know why these casual mistakes are happening. I blindly trust on the name of Max Life Insurance. I am very much annoyed from your services. I didn`t think the max Life service will be like this.

                I raised my complaint on April-2019 through email but not taken any action than I raise on this portal in may but till date the issue is not resolved. 03 months have been wasted in these correspondence over mails but till date issue has not resolved. Now when I am telling to cancel my policy your rep. is writing me that my freelook period has been over and the policy can not be cancel.
                This is not right to say like this. If my policy will not cancel and refund will be given than I have to write to IRDAI.

                Nothing has been done related to my address. Your representative is telling that they have updated. They are sending me the updated documents in which not a single term updated. I think they are not aware with the actual problem.
                They are not removing the only term "Dehradun" from my address.

                  I had a call from max life insurance. The telephone number was - [protected]. These people have been constantly calling me again and again and irrespective of polite denial, they continuously bugged me. Today the calling executive was so rude, he literally passed comments in punjabi (They try to speak in hinglish) and banged the phone. They talked about deloitte and that some deloitte partners threw a women nidhi tyagi as bait to save indian company of max life insurance. Posh case was to be proven wrong so this women who is unaware of cruelty she is being subjected to by a group of directors and partners both male and female of deloitte. I do not know the name but they are some very senior mastermind who is trying to help some dumb cruel and illiterate women reach position of power in return of sexual favours or dirty politics of favoritism. Max life insurance is only one person cruelty. Deloitte is a company full of hidden corrupt dacoits and rapists

                        Dear all,

                        I got a call from ajay - from ph no. [protected]. He said that he is from max lyfe insurance company and calling from head office. He was having my policy details. He called me regarding agent commission and amount accrued.
                        I have been receiving such calls since last one year and every time have been calling the customer care and filing complains against it. I have seen so many similar complains and don't know why the company is not doing anything? Anyways my todays complain no. Is 03041880.
                        Max life insurance should be fined for being unable to secure their customer data. Its a clear case of data breach. If it wud be appening in us, the whole company management wud have been in shambles.

                          I have taken life partner policy for ten years already premium paid for eight years. When i asked to manager to cancel the policy and return the amount what i actually paid, but they said only half amount you will get. But at the time of policy initiation, the axis bank executive says that after three year anytime you can withdraw the total amount what you paid for premium.
                          So i need money can i get the amount as i paid. Or i have to raise complaint...in police or consumer services.

As per the regulatory provisions, there is a free look period of 15 days during which the policyholder may approach the insurance company for cancellation (if not satisfied). This free look period starts from the date of receipt of the policy pack by the policyholder. In line with above, your policy pack including proposal form and benefit illustration was delivered at your communication address through M/s First Flight Courier vide air way on Mar 22, 2012. We have received your request for cancellation now, which is beyond the free look period of 15 days. Hence, we express our inability to cancel the policy and refund the premium paid. Further, we would like to inform you that surrender value of a policy is strictly governed by the terms & conditions of the policy contract and these terms & conditions are part of our product approval processes which follow a due approval process by the regulator. But since 2012 i have not received any documents about my policy and not even the agent also called me in last 7 years, in my policy agent code is activated any the company will pay the commission to agent against the service while the agent not contacted, therefore i want to delete the agent code and generate my customer code and transfer the commission to my policy account due to the bad service by your agent

                              What to me was explained by axis bank priority account manager at the time of opening my policy what he said me is totally different and when I went to local bank for surrender to my policy he also said that u will get back only 1lakh 90 thousand insect of what I paid for yearly for 6 years, for me its very urgent so I said only 1 lakh 90 thousand how I paid so Nd so,
                              After some days I get one mail saying I will get back only 1 lakh 18 thousand,
                              I inform all this to local bank and related people,

                              After long time I decided only two ways,

                              Or

                              I better I will get and take till hang till death ( suicide ) phansee leyleta...

                              Mai mere mehnath ke paise ka nuksan kaise karoon,

                              Tomorrow or else After some time i will sure to go consumer court or else I I’ll make suicide with all writing notes in all u r name

                                      Myself zaheen ashraf from bhadohi u. P. Has taken a policy number[protected] in march 2017. Your agent told me that you can get your full amount after surrender if you pay minimum three years your premium. After 3 years when i went to go for surrender said if you surrender in 3 years it will be surrender charge apply and you get around 25, 000 instead of 60000.
                                      I am shocked and shouted over him told then why don't you not inform me clearly he cheated me and made me fool.
                                      Now i want back all my money because i am in very needy covered with debts also jobless this days.
                                      Please understand my concern & do the needful as this is the survival point of me.

                                      We wish to clarify that the cancellation of a policy is strictly governed by the terms & conditions of the policy contract and these terms & conditions are part of our product approval processes with the regulator. As per the regulatory provisions, there is a free look period of 15 days during which the policyholder may approach the insurance company for cancellation (if not satisfied). This free look period starts from the date of receipt of the policy pack by the policyholder. In line with above, your policy pack including proposal form and benefit illustration was duly delivered at your communication address via Speed Post vide air way bill on Mar 28, 2017. We have received your request for cancellation now, which is beyond the free look period of 15 days. Hence, we express our inability to cancel the policies and refund the premium paid. Further, we confirm you that the current surrender value of the policy is Rs.25, 975.13. In case you wish to surrender the policy, you are requested to visit any of your nearest Maxlife office and submit the following documents:
                                      • Surrender Form duly filled and signed by the policyholder. (Attached)
                                      • Original Policy document
                                      • Original Id Proof (self attested).
                                      • Cancelled Cheque with pre-printed name and account number.                                       As I have paid my premium 3 years and your agent was told that after 3 years you can surrender and get all amount when I went to bank he said as per policy when you surrender in three years some of amount will be deducted from premium I am shocked it means your agent was cheated me, fooled me and when I complained to Max life he defend his agent instead of strict action against him I think both Bank agent and Max life company together cheated and fraud with me and did not care his policy holder. You did not believe my words what he do with me if he told me everything clear I will never take this kind of policy. He only told me only one phase of story not full.
                                      If I know also that in 15 days will be cancelled if not satisfied with policy.
                                      So this all information was not gave by your agent.

                                      I want to take strict action against him and refund my all premium paid in 3 years.

                                      I want justice if I did not get will go to police or court for my money.

                                      I hope you will understand my concern.

                                      I did not get any response from your side since my complaint is being a month.
                                      I think consumer complaint is useless site because no one response of my question.
                                      I have been losting my money but they don't care his agent has not told me everything about policy so he attacked me that you had received a welcome call in which he asked you some questions but even then if I know all then I was quit in starting.
                                      Now I am hopeless to get my money deposited in 3 years premium after surrender can get all money when investigation officer call come he said I didn't explain like that bachne ke liye.

                                      Now I fight till I get full amount. This is my money earned through hard work. I am jobless, debt covered, mom hospitalize & festival is running.

                                      Can anyone is there who help me because I trapped.

                                      I did not get any answer for my words till now.
                                      My mother is in very critical condition and I need extremely urgent basis for her operation.
                                      When you told me regarding "FREE LOOK PERIOD" in which I have option to cancel it, if feel uncomfortable or insecure about policy that your agent had never informed me. Hence, it cleared that i didn't get full information and he trapped me..

                                      Now I am suffering for my own money.
                                      Please help me sir and refund my all my money without any deduction..

                                        My Name is Zaheen Ashraf and am from Bhadohi. I have a policy with max life whole life super which was taken in March 2017 and the policy number is[protected].The complaint on them is I had paid premium annually 20, 000/- for 3 years approximately 60000/- through Axis Bank . While taken policy He told me that you can surrender after 3 years so get full amount of premium paid. After 3 years when I went to bank regarding my policy have to surrender replied if you surrender in 3 years you can get only around 25000/-
                                        I am shocked and shouted over then why didn't inform me during taking policy. He made me fool and didn't provide full information.
                                        I have facing financial problem so more. Job less, Debt covered please understand my concern and arrange refund to my account as I need very urgent basis.

                                        Please look into matter very serious and resolved issue as soon as possible.
