    I have submitted the hospital bill amount rs 23035.
    But you have to reimbursement the total only rs. 13000
    Why you deducted the rs 10035
    As per your your reason you mention 2 days more stay but as per dr. Reply i am stay in hospital
    So it is not my duty and i my doesn't told to dr. You discharge.
    So pl rest of my amount reimburesment as early as possible

      Subject: denial of claim 94631277 under 070300/28/16/p1/11511126_silver_sez

      We refer to your claim submitted for reimbursement of hospitalisation expenses to medi assist insurance tpa pvt ltd. On scrutiny of the claim documents, we observe that the claim is not admissible in view of the following:

      On perusal of the claim documents submitted, it is found that there is no hospitalisation / in - patient treatment. All bills / receipts enclosed are out-patient related. Therefore the claim is not admissible as per the clause mentioned above. Hence, we regret our inability to admit this liability under the present policy conditions.

      The denial clause/s with description is/are reproduced below for your ready reference:

      Clause description.
      2.32 opd treatment:opd treatment is one in which the insured visits a clinic/hospital or associated facility like a consultation room for diagnosis and treatment based on the advice of medical a practitioner. The insured is not admitted as a day care or in-patient.

      Since the claim does not fall within the purview of the policy terms conditions, we regret our inability to admit the claim. If you have any other information or documents to substantiate admissibility of the claim, please provide the same within 15 days of receipt of this letter.

          Hi,

          My wife maid no [protected] went through lscs operation in st john’s hospital, bangalore between aug 15 – aug 24 for which a total amount of rs 75858/- was given by hospital. Mediassist has approved 50000 as a part of my cashless process.

          Further i’ve received message also from mediassist saying "enhancement request of inr 75858 for cashless claim no. 15104197 is authorized for inr 10400. The total authorization as on date is inr 50000 for hospitalization between aug 15, 2017 and aug 24, 2017 at st johns medical college hospital, bengaluru".
          During the final discharge the hospital asked me to get mail from mediassist saying – “50000 shall be paid to st john without any deduction and patient should pay only the difference amount”
          I spoke to your customer care agent ashok on day of discharge aug 24, 2017 who spoke to the hospital insurance cell saying he would send an email regarding the same i should only pay the difference amount. But no one sent any email and later i’ve written many mails to mediassist, even called them (Honeywell number –[protected] and general toll free number[protected] many times but they don’t answer. My wife and new born baby were suffering sitting near verandah due to such false policies. I was having an hard time with the discharge with your so called cashless claim.

          Total estimate 75858
          Initial authorization 39600
          Enhanced amount authorized 10400

          Total authorised 50000
          I’ve the mail which says mediassist has approved total 50000 but hospital claims they will get only 39000. I’ve paid the rest amount from my pocket i. E 35163/- and 1320/-. Mediassist has deducted this amount from my sum insured. Instead of paying the difference amount of 7585 + 18273 = 25858/-, i ended up paying 36483/- to the hospital. Please refund the difference amount asap.

            Dear sir i'm vijay kumar working for corporation bank, i would like to inform you that i have undergone a eye surgery in march 2017 and in april i have submitted the reimbursement claim to my insurance company which is mediassist through courier. But even after 4-5 months they have not yet processed my request.
            I had been calling every week and they will promise to solve but nothing has been done, i have called there customer care more than 5 times. Even i have mailed them which is of no use, at last i'm here because i lost hope on there false promises. Please help me

              Lens amount advance paid – rs 76700/- (Applicable for both the claims # 94473841 & #[protected]
              In that, icl lens (Left eye and right eye) – rs 38350/- + 38350/-
              Breaking bills provided for both. 22000/- @ 17300/-. Concern over authenticiy of 17300/- (Clarified already). I remember clearly i provided original bills only but again and again repitative comments i am getting plz provide the original bill.

              Total lens amount has been taken as advance amount – rs 76700/- (Applicable for both the claims ccn# 94473841 and ccn#[protected]
              In that, icl lens (Left eye) – rs 38350/- (For the claim ccn#[protected]
              Breaking of bills like hospital charge/bed charge – rs 22000/- (For the claim ccn#[protected]
              Total claim amount - rs 60350/- (For the claim ccn#[protected]
              In a nutshell, you need to consider the amount of rs 38350/- as the remaining bill amount from the advanced amount of rs 76700/- icl lens cost amount (76700/2=38350/- for the claim ccn# 94473841[[protected]=38350]). Same applicabe for ccn# 94473824[[protected]=38350)].

              *#[protected] concern was raised for rest of the amount (Total claim amount - 60350) except rs 22000/- which i just clarified here.

              *#[protected] rs/- 15650/- extra amount showing deducted (In the medi assist portal) in addition of 10% deducted amount. It is wrong. Only 10% amount is deductable. It was assured. Total claim amout - rs 55650/-

                Hi i have health insurance through my company when i was joined in my company that time i didn't updated my dependency details for that reason they rejected my claim.

                But if i get this reason within in 10 or 15 days after submitting my claim my wife can able to process in her company.

                But they updated this reason after 50 days every week i am checking with medi assist person in my company even he also not updated this reason..

                  My wife got admitted in hospital under mediassist tpa i have a corporate policy but these guys added our normal hospitalisation into maternity package and deducted whole amount of our maternity package in normal hospitalisation we have all the documents and proof for that but no response from staff.
                  Staff is so rude they never respond to calls and mails and always ignore customer queries i am following up manish kumar from delhi branch from last two months but he is of no use. Very bad service worst tpa please go for some other tpa.

                  I want a callback from seniors so that they can take done action against such bad staff I have all recordings of that guy manish from delhi office. He treat customers as I m asking for favour from him and he is paying my bills. Such a bad experience in corporate policy I think in individual policy they will provide worst experience than this. Very unprofessional

                    I had submitted all the possible documents related to the patients disease and the same were also verified by your executive who came for the inspection. But even after that the claim has been denied. This is unacceptable and you need to ensure fairness and transparency. It not only puts a bad image on the company's part but also creates customer dissatisfaction. Please look into the same and provide realistic solutions

                      I am allready submitted pharmacy bills and lab reports in document file.
                      Medi assist executive not seen file, they only seen scan copies of that docs.
                      It is not practically not possible to take again lab reports. I have only scanned copies of that doc.
                      I am not happy with medi assist service.

I tried many times and spoke with customer care persons and concerned persons. Till i did not get any response from their end. They have mentioned in the mail claim will be settled within 7 days from the approved date. As my case they have taken more than 5 months and not yet credited amount.

                          Mediassist claim no. 14953059 was approved on 30th July 2017. It has been over 2 weeks now and still the refund amount has not been credited to my account. On following up, they informed the claims have been sent to the insurance company United Insurance Ltd. and they are not responding to the claim refunds. I am planning to raise a Corporate HR complaint informing them about this slack handling of claim reimbursements.

                          My claim id is 14945xxx. They have approved the claim in July but not yet reimbursed the money. The status is same from one month i.e. Insurer payment is in progress.

                          More over I don't see any prompt reply to my mails or calls.

                            Reg: delay in crediting approved claims to my bank account. – nefts not initiated after approval of claim-tpa id no. – ma – id [protected] rajan h. Oza and ma-id [protected] of kalpana oza

                            In all i have sent 9 claims for the period from the month of march, 2017 to july, 2017, however only in one case claim amount is reimbursed to my account.

                            With reference to the following claim numbers, i am finding remarks in your web site/mobile app. That claims have been paid to me, however, there is no credit entry in my account pertaining to these claims.

                            In all, 8 out of 9 claims submitted by me so far are pending for settlement and reimbursement.

                            I request you to kindly look into the matter and expedite the settlement and reimbursement of pending claims.

                            Also please let me know when above mentioned 3 claims are shown as paid in your portal, why the settled amount is still lying with you and not paid to the credit o my bank account.

                            I have also observed that so far an amount of rs. 1232/= only is credited to my account towards reimbursement of only one claim, however, my policy sum insured is reduced from rs. 400000/= to rs. 394021/- i. E. Reduction of rs. 5979/=, without giving credit of remaining rs. 4747/= plus other pending claims.

                            I fail to understand when you have so far paid me only rs. 1232/= to the credit of my bank account, how the sum insured is reduced by rs. 5979/= before giving credit to my account for remaining sum?

                            Please expedite sending neft for those claims which are appearing as paid in your portal as well a in your mobile application, but you have not credited this so called paid amount to my bank account.

                                Hello team,

                                This is second time when mediassist just giving non-sense reason to decline the claim & they are just asking non - relevant document which was no where mentioned in medi assist portal or any t&c. Please find the details below:

                                Mtp done on request from doctor for some internal issue. & doctor has given medicine & told that this will help to recover. Please note that no hospitalization was required.
                                After 2 months again irregular bleeding & back pain, fever started and doctor suggested to hospitalize for d&c. It was done successfully & aal required documents for d&c i have received from hospital & same is submitted to mediassist.

                                Now when mediassist found all required document for d&c, they are asking for discharge summary for mtp, how i will get if patient is not admitted.

                                This is worst insurance provider, i am going to escalate to company hr as well.

                                i sent couple of mails as well, how to update DOB of enrolled members.. NO response still date.. highly disappointed..

                                We had a corporate tie up with mediassist. I have met an accident on 08th of Feb 2018 on my way going of regional office Ranch with the road divider in way of protectig a cow. Since after the accident I was unconsious and was referred to santae vita hospital ranchi. In the emergency there was a visiting doctor available at that time. He has written the details of the injury and for remedy he asked for surgery. My family decided to get operated at Patna. In A clinic with no cashless facility I got operated and a plate was fixed in my collar bone. I have sent all the X-rays, bills, all diagnosis reports on 13th of March and 25th of March then they asked for five more thing a FIR/ mlc, I am really confused against whom I have done FIR. Then they ask for a certificate from the first treating doctor that I was not under the influence of any intoxicating substance, since I was on duty at that time and after the accident I was not in conscious mind I did not ask at that time but afterward when I visited the hospital the doctor was from outside, so I am not able to meet and hospital is also not responding. What to do? Now third document ask is brief description on how the patients has sustain the injury, time and place for which I have already submitted the prescription of Santee vitae. Now the fourth paper is IC P I have sent all the case paper provided by the hospital but still they are saying insufficient without naming the paper. I don't know for passing of a mediclaim either one has to be from a medical line or should be an experience person who have all the knowedge of everything, because for a simple serviceman like me it's really hard to arrange the paper because in emergency only the cure is seen not the paper.                                 Mediassist is asking for final bill when my wife was in ICU.. how can you ask for final bill and discharge summary when patient is in ICU after all my wife shifted to room and next day got discharged. We sent all the required documents. Mediassist dined the claim.

                                One of the worst experience and one of the worst company.

                                  Filled claim and got a reply from medi assist for further documents on 10th june, sent the required documents on 13th june and from then onwards sending them e-mails but never got a reply from them.

                                  Seems like they have misplaced my original documents, and now they are not replying to my mails because of that.

                                    I got one sms from medi assist insurance tpa pvt ltd on 17th july 2017 saying that i have been enrolled as a member of policy a under policy state bank of india valid up to 31st may 2018 and a welcome kit containing id card shall be dispatched shortly to my pension paying branch within 15 days but so far i have not received the kit and the e-card as told in the sms. Please look into it and arrange to dispatch the kit and the e-card at the earliest.

                                      Claim #[protected] not processed, no amount approved


                                      I had kidney transplant of my mother in last feb, 2017 in rabindranath tagore hospital, mukundapur, kolkata.

                                      At that time i had couple of claim in the med assist portal as an tcs employee, since then they are playing with me, not giving any update.

                                      Med assist - very worst please guys don't go for it.
                                      As i have been facing very bad experience am writing this...

                                      I have been for response from past 4 months. Till now nobody given proper response.
                                      Every time they said this week end it will get approved, from past 4 weeks. I don't know how long i should wait.
                                      Really very frustrated with customer support guys...

                                      Very bad insurance that i have opted... Going forward i will not go with this...
                                      Very worst customer support, no technical persons available to speak properly...

                                      Worst and bad customer service...
                                      Medi Assist India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        reimbursement of medical expenses with claim no.14983319

                                        I mr. G. Prasadu babu having ma id [protected] and working in megha engineering & infrastructures ltd. And claimed for reimbursement of rs.19593 with ref no. Allotted 14983319 and accepted for rs.14547 only and short fall amount of rs.5046 due to bill date is beyond permitted date. But whatever bills submitted by is 100% accuracy and genuine. Even though if we consider date also the bills value as per your calculation comes to rs.3478 against...
