Dear sir / madam,
This is reference to the claim id[protected] name of the patient neethu s admission date on 6th aug 2017 at credence hospital. I have already submitted all the details to canara bank on 12th of this month as reference to your query. The last date mentoned was 18th of this month. I have contacted the medississt representative of our bank but she is indifferent and not properly behaving to us.

I have checked the claim status today and
The status is still mentioned as information awaited. I want to know why so much of delay in processing my claim because i have already submitted the reply to all your queries and i havent been informed of either my claim status or any queries.

    reimbursement claim 15180375 was in progress for longer time

    My claim 15180375 was raised on august 29th. But still the claim status was showing as inprogress for two months. I have submitted forms within 30 days of discharge but as the baby was not nominated, the team was unable to raise the claim and the documents are sent to godown. When i returned back to office, i have nominated my child and claim was approved and raised in exceptional case.

    I opted policy with medi assist from 19 june 2017 but it showing from[protected] in policy details. They provided me e-cards but those are useless no hospital is accepting those as those having wrong id's. Unnecessarily i opted for top up also from last two months i am trying to contact customer care no response from them. Unnecessarily collecting money with allotting wrong policy and wrong details with which we cant claim. Attaching screens for details. Don't take policy with mediassist.

        My father was a employee in united india insurance co. Ltd, retired at eluru. He have "medi assist india tpa p ltd" policy with tpa id no. [protected] (Employee id no. 14760).
        As a spouse, my mother smt. V. Vijaya applied for eye treatment at maxvision, a. S. Rao nagar and request ion submitted on 16.10.17 though portal.

        Still date no response and any intimation from your side. Last time in april 2017 and rem basement paid 4 month later.

        Very bad service and still not take care of the policy holders.
        Immediately inform the condition whether we continue our policy or not.

          Although i have sent all the necessary original documents to [protected]@mediassistindia.com, i have been receiving auto generated emails stating that i need to provide cancelled cheque leaf. How many times will you send this email?
          I have sent emails innumerable number of times explaining that i have submitted all the necessary original documents and receipts. Please refer my email dated october 4th from [protected]@yahoo.co.in, with the scan copy of the cancelled cheque leaf. Please don't send useless emails without checking your inbox. I have also included [protected]@mediassistindia.com, [protected]@mediassistindia.com but no response yet.
          I went to your office in chennai and inquired about this and they stated that the mumbai office is responsible for settling claims. I tried calling your customer care but there is no proper response.
          Please settle this claim at the earliest and this is my last email. Failing which i will register a complaint and take action against you for not settling the claim having one of the worst customer service in the country. If the claim is not settled soon, i will take legal action against the company via life insurance corporation of india, who is my employer.

            Dear team,

            I had taken insurance policy from punjab national bank & my tpa is medi assist tpa pvt ltd.

            I had given post claim as on 29.09.2017 of rs 5042.00 vide claim no. 15404224 for my wife name as jyoti which includes report charges, consultation charges & medicines charges.

            As per report haemoglobin of my wife is 8 gram only so doctor suggested 3 months medicines to be continues & he written the same as on 22.09.2017 & the same i had been purchased as on 23.09.2017.

            Now tpa approve only rs. 1292 (150 lab charges, 600 consultation charges & 542 against medicines) while i had putted medicines bills of rs. 4292.00 for all the months as per prescription dated 22.09.2017 (Which is in 60 days period) also they denied the same medicines which has been already paid in main claim & now they said its of protein medicines so not to be paid. But as per doctor the same is required for the patient for the recover the normal stage. How tpa can denied the same medicines which they had already paid in main claim?

            Now tpa rejected rs. 3750.00 as query post 60 days & approved only rs 542.00 which is wrong amount. (They had already recalculated yesterday by their doctor panel the same & accepted this had their mistake only)

            When i visited tpa office the manager named mr prashant gone away in office hours & also not picked my call tried more than 3 times. And staff is behaving like nonsense with me & refused the process my excess amount which has also accepted by them that is their mistake.

            So, request you to see in matter & help me for cleared excess amount form the tpa so that insurance company can pay me. I had attached claim settlement advice for your ready reference.

                claim approved but too much of delay in reimbursement

                I am applied for the claim no:15151423. All the needful documents reached the company in[protected] and it has been 50days it's showing claim is approved but money is not reimbursed. I contacted all the responsible persons but not giving proper information and escaping themselves by saying there is a technical problem. As per company norms claim amount should be reimbursed before 15 days from the date of approval of claim....

                I am a employee of axis bank ltd.
                My father was admitted thrice in the month of july with that 1 of them were cashless.
                I have submitted all the necessary documents of admission and transfer from one hospital to other near 14th of august to the executive chandni employee of mediassist mumbai. She said it will take 15 to 20 days for claim settlement.
                After 15 days she asked me transfer documents of the hospital and i submitted that to the next day.

                After 20 days when i called the customer care i got to know that my claim was pending for original irda form which is the basic form which is the first eligible form to submit a request but when i enquired they said by mistake it happened and i got a mail also for that with that they told me that your claim will be settled with in a week and will call you just submit a adhar card of the patient, i mailed that to the email from which i got the query.
                Today is 15 october and no body has called me for the status and my claim is not yet processed.
                I have all the evidence of email and the copy which i submitted to the mediassist mumbai.
                This is the last reminder for them other wise i will complaint to irda forum. I will complaint for the reimbursement plus the payment delayed compensation for which they are harassing from last 2 months.

                  I applied for post hospitalization claim with claim number 15281979 which was received by medi assist on 13th sept and claim got approved on 26th sept but its been 14 working days and amount still not credited to my account. I am continuously dropping mails and contacting customer care but not getting any reply from anyone. Very poor customer service

                    Hello sir,

                    I have requested for a domiciliary claim of number 1542205 (Tracking # z[protected]) on 18th september, 2017 with proper documents to medi asist as it is our official insurance partner. I am an ibm employee and submit the premium every year.

                    But, on 3rd october, 2017 i get a single message in my registered mobile number that, this claim is denied and asked to refer the repudiation letter. What does it mean?

                    Even no reason has been communicated to me. Contacted customer care but as usual they are so busy. Not any mail till that message is intimated to me.

                    Already have mailed them from my registered corporate mail id about this.
                    I want my claim money back or they should contact me to correct the claim if required.

                    Please take action.

                      From last one month am getting same reply on tool/branch.

                          I have made an otp claim of my mother it was around 2000 rupees in august and havent recieved a single info about it where it is how to track it if rejected then why it has been rejected...
                          The so called customer care never ever picks up the phone do change its name to "i dont care helples line". Firstly the claim intimation process is so lengthy that a person who is a it unaware or less educated needs a person to fill all those forms and procedures... Aleast senior citizens should have a different door...
                          I dont think u guys have such a large customer base that u cant attend the call.. This is something very sad and disheartening for an organisation related to health sector where people need immediate attention.
                          Very irresponsible behaviourfrom the companies side...
                          Worst tpa ever... If otp claim is not given then why they have made it available there on the webites and the scheemes my claim has been rejected twice... I wonder how they settle hospitalisation claims... Regretti

                            W. R. T cashless claim no.[protected] complaint of sujay urological hospital, vadodara. The hospital has cheated medi assist insured by misrepresentation & excess billing. Please provide us approved rates of this hospital charges by medi assist. Medi assist should review their network hospitals, here question comes that who is the beneficiary, insured or network hospital?

                              Medicines during hospitalisation and post hosp period for the illness for which had been hospitalised are said to be processed under opd basis for which there is a small annual limit. Whereas the terms clearly state that during those days the medicinal expenses should be under pre-hosp, hospilatisation and post hosp expenses and not the opd basis.in spite of repeatedly telling the personnel at mediiassist they claim that they will not agree. E. G. Levipil is a medicine for epilepsy for which was admitted. Tegaderm is a bandage that is allowed (Subject to conditions) for day care procedure. How suddenly they put it into opd whereas they earlier used to process the same under main insurance amount.

                              And they never reply to mails, deduct wrong amounts, misplace original ecg graphs (We cant reproduce them) and then deduct the amounts. Arrogant behaviour. Delay of 2-3 months even after regular followup.

                              Where to seek justice!!!

                                Its rediculous to see company keeps asking for documents though submitted everything. I regret to have insurance with mediassit or united india whatever

                                There is no logic behind asking for scan copy of x rays files. Interestingly when you have lost it.

                                Sending reminder to escalation matrix is good for nothing as we get only auto generated emails.

                                  The documents were handed over to oriental insurance (My insurer) 3 months back and insurer has confirmed that these documents have been forwarded to medi assist way back before.
                                  This has been duly confirmed by medi assist customer support officer (Mr ankit) yesterday.

                                  I need to know by when would both the claims be finalised and what is holding the claims to be finalised?

                                  Claim details (Claim number[protected]:

                                  Claim amount of inr 2 lacs plus.
                                  Claim amount of inr 13k plus

                                  Ideally, it takes 15 working days to process the claim and 7 working days after that for payment but this has been more than required timeframe.

                                    We have submitted all the original claim documents on 04 sep 2017. Afterwords on 12 sep 2017 we received message "we regret the delay in processing of your claim no: 15244322. This is being reviewed and you will have an update shortly", however we have neither received the reason why delaying nor claim amount. We are not able to understand why so much of time required to disburse the same. Current status is showing as "under process" i don't know why this claim is stuck in the system. Please look into the issue and do the needful.
