I had submitted for my hospital reimbursement to Medi-Assist which was
received to them on 28-Jun-2016.

they generated to claims numbers as below:

Claim No[protected] has been settled.

but Claim no 12879201 is showing "Canceled" and no other info like

very disgusting it is, I have faced lots of problem with Medi Assist.

    Myself Ishan Patel a oriental insurance company mediclaim policy holder with policy number 151200/48/2016/17408 my medi assist ID is [protected] I was admitted in SAIMS hospital Indore on date 18/07/2016. Mediclaim section of SAIMS hospital has contacted with medi assist on date 19/07/2016 the claim ID generated by medi assist was 12971647 for cashless. But I was recover on date 21/07/2016. Till 21/07/2016 the approval was not receive for cashless claim so that, I have decided to take reimbursement. Doctors of SAIMS hospital gave me discharge on 21/07/2016. As I have not availed the cashless benefit of policy so that I have send all the original hospital document and reports to the Mediassist via courier and I have get an acknowledgment on 6/08/2016 via Mediassist for reimbursement claim ID 13063312. As from above case it is clear that cashless benefits were not availed by me, and also reimbursement claim is not receive by me till date . So many times I was contacted with Medi Assist customer care call centre, their reply was that your cashless claim was not settle till that so your reimbursement claim is put on hold. In one conversion with call center they reply me that initial clame request was not cancel by mediassist and they require the the cancellation request from SIMS hospital
    SIMS hospital also send the initial cancellation request on date 15/09/2016. but till date 26/09/2016 there is no action taken by mediassist.

      With media assist and dr shroffs eye hospital Kailash colony.
      We are having a horroring experience with you all - in getting a normal insurance processed.
      We will never advice to buy insurance with you.
      Sad that we had to part of it
      Disgusting ...
      It has taken three days to process a simple insurance for senior citizen retina surgery.
      The hospital is unhygienic and the staff especially the TPA desk is the worst.bad choice and decision in our part...

        My name is sumit kumar i admitted in bhagat hospital during 12 august to 15 august 2016 because i was suffering from fever. I have a oriental insurance policy.

        I have admitted through this policy on 12 -15 august 2016 by my claim is denied of amount 19915 i paid the total amount to hospital. After that doctor gave the justification in written to mediassist tpa for the reimbursement.. I have sent my all documents to delhi branch by ondot courier.

          I requested for my cashless claim on 14/September/2016. Every day the hospital is receiving query. My surgery was planned for 21/Sep/2016. But due to delay in approval my surgery got postponed. It is difficult for me to understand why every day a new query is generated? When I approached the customer care, they say like "this is the last query and your will receive approval by end of day" but again a new query comes. The process is highly frustrating. Every day I have to call to customer care and have to complain again again for my cashless request.

            I have applied my wife Mediclaim from your company worth amt Rs 10417/-only . but i have received credit only amt rs 5567/- rest amount is not payable by u. I have seen the reason for the same in my portal which is mentioned below. But the same is not a valid reason because the hospital from where my wife was operated there was not any sharing rooms. So that's why they charged from us single room charges. So, you are requested to please settle my full amt for the same as on urgent basis.

            I also want to inform you that the charges which was charged by the hospital is very lower side as compare to the other private hospital.

            So, Please process my full claim amt as on urgent basis.

              I had submitted a claim for surgery expenses around 1 months ago, since then they are delaying the process with any stupid reasons and asking for the same documents again and again.

              I have submitted all the relevant documents . Medi assist raised a ticket but no further action has been taken .

              I am HPE employee and I have been advised to send email to " Swagat Patnaik " for any complain or updates but even he is not responding . I sent couple of emails to him .

              Sorry but I am very disappointed with poor response from MediAssist team .

              Hopefully after this complain some one action this case asap.

                I am from sap india and my employee I'd is I328100
                1. Inefficiency and Inactivity on part of ECashless

                I had filed for ecashless on September 9, 2016. I had been contacting the ecashless number, Mr Murjamil and the toll free number on a continuous basis and was told that things will be taken care of by MediAssist. However, only on September 12 The hospital panel told me that they had not received any information from MediAssist, which was later validated by MediAssist to me on phone.

                2. Cashless just for the name
                After this I applied for Cashless claim and after continued efforts to co-ordinate with the panel and MediAssist, I got one mail today giving the initial approved amount, whose basis I don't know. I have already paid INR 75000 to the hospital and have no information on how to retrieve it.

                Being an employee of SAP India, I was not expecting any of this. I would have rather applied for United Healthcare Mediclaim, which actually is hassle free!

                  My claim id is 13212698.The final bill is send to company by hospital at 5:25 pm on 12/9/2016.my patient name is Mrs.VANDANA waiting for discharge till 10:30pm but the approval not done by Medi Assist till then.
                  This is clearly carelessness in their job.The gap is 5 hour's .what should i do in this case and the customer executives on [protected] are not cooperative and talking in wrong way.

                  Please take some action on this serious issue and resolve it because this not the way of handling the case of a patient who is waiting to go home.

                  Please take action on this that's my humble request.

Hitesh but can't reply properly also communicated to ahmadabad office but can't get proper reply from their also the claim amount not small the amount of claim is rs.500000 (Five lake) so my claim no. Is 12604676 every time both office rajkot & ahmadabad said it is in process so tell me what time to process time of claim after submission of claim all papers and documents are with attached i'm 78yr.                         This is with regard to policy no. 272900/48/2017/5789 in the name of Mr. Inder Khurana.
                        We took a cashless claim dated[protected] in the name of Mrs. Ranjana Khurana for the surgical management of fracture in right arm.It was approved for Rs.1, 04683 instead of Rs.1, 18, 820.I wish to know the reason for that as for the approval complete amount was sent from the hospital.Let me know the reason for delay in approval of claim as well, it took 8hrs that day for approval of claim at your end even when your tat is of 4hrs.this was actually a pathetic experience from your end.I had to have follow ups and to be at calls with your customer service executives for the whole day for this purpose and even then the response was not satisfactory.
                        i need a proper explanation for less amount of claim approved as well as need cashback of rest of the amount pad by us to hospital authorities.
                        Kindly take note of it and reply asap.

                                Hi,

                                I have a corporate insurance policy with mediassist through Accenture Services Pvt Ltd

                                I had submitted a reimbursement claim 20 July for rs. 300000.

                                I got the first remainder mail on 10 Aug, 2016 asking for more documents.

                                I had already sent them the documents initially only and also again sent xerox copies which they acknowledged that they received on 21 Aug.

                                On 22 Aug i received another remainder mail for submitting the missing documents. The new documents i submitted are not uploaded in the mediassist portal

                                We have submitted all originals to mediassist - bills, receipts, scan, discharge summary, Doctors Diagnosis report, lab reports etc.

                                We need this reimbursement to get completed as soon as possible as we are in need of the amount to pay for further treatment

                                Please help in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

                                    My 2 weeks old premature baby started vomitting one fine day and stopped accepting feeds. She wasn't fed for 9 hours when we decided to take her to emergency opd where they suggested to admit the baby for observation. They kept her for 2 days and after all the tests told that she didn't have any infections and as a treatment she was fed. Mediassist india rejected this claim saying that no treatment was given. I want to ask these that should we leave the baby unfed and let her die according to your policy?

                                        I have sent my application online on 26.07.2016 for e cashless benefit for admission to k m c hospital manipal, karnataka. My admission date was 08.08.2016. I have attached relative certificates issued by the doctor for estimation by the hospital. So for i have not received approval for admission to hospital. I have contacted several times your costumer care but they take all the details and in turn say they have not received approval from the hospital as soon as they receive, inform about password etc. I am till today waiting in anticipation of the same. My question to you is
                                        1. How long i have to wait, if the hospital did not respond what will be the recourse available to me.2. When hospital is authorized, it is your primary duty to get the sanction within reasonable time frame or else how long the insurer should wait. I being a senior citizen it is very difficult to adjust the funds, hence on priority my case should be approved otherwise the very purpose of e cashless scheme is defeated. I have earlier taken treatment @ manipal hospital my file no is 2083503, i have forgotten to mention this while submitting my e cashless application on 26.07.2016. I have sent mail to [protected]@mediassistindia.Com and copy endorsed to [protected]@medi assist india.Com so far no reply nor acknowledgement from them. Pl treat the matter most urgent and help in this regard.
