My father in law is admited in miot hospital on 24 nov 2015 to 29 nov 2015 in ICU. I applied for cashless. Hospital initially requested for 75000. i got the approval, but later he was in ICU for 5 days and hosipital asked for enhancement for 1.8 laks, but medi assist declied the approval. I don't know why they denial. I paid all from my pocket even i have the insurance. Can some body help me to get back the amount from insurance.

Always say it is under process Claim submitted in April 2015 Even emails to medi assist not answered. I am suffering from Prostate cancer and need money for my ongoing treatment. I am being harassed by Mediassist for no fault of me. I am driven to a point by Medi Assist where I am rendered helpless in such a difficult time. Help me by reimbursing my claim or else I do not know what will happen to me.

          Hello, This is regarding medi assist corporate insurance company poor sevicing story. I have insured amount 50000Rs for my father and he had an surgery on 6th Novemeber and supposed to be dischraged on monday morning But when hospital people has sent discharge summary around 12 15 PM, insurance people have taken the request around 5 30 and raised a query. Query whatever raised was not sent to active email id of the hospital with which they earlier communicated last nigh for other query. On all total i can summarize is: Medi assist has wrost servicing and want to gain something with health insurance Lack of responsibility and time sense Very wrost process Kindly do the needful asap i need compensation for one extra day stayed at hospital Thanks and Regards, -Deepa N

            After the settlement of my claim, I asked to reopen my case and no one helped me in this and no one even responded to my emails, then I went personally to the jpnagar office of mediassist to submit some more documents and reopen the case the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP NUMER IS -1709 It was for the duplicate bill submission which I got it stamped from hospital and submitted . it has been one month I didn’t get any sort of intimation or any contact from medi assist So for all the duplicate bills I got it stamped and submitted in JPNAGAR OFFICE AFTER THAT I DIDN’T RECEIVE ANY RESPONSE . I mailed this also to medi assist couple of times but still no response . It has been a big issue that I have been facing for a very long long time ... there is a big story that I explianed around 30-40 times and still didnt get my complete refund. I need this forum to help me in speeding the process and making the medi assist people to know that that cannot harras people like this.

            After this I submitted a clarification letter and the original pending reports to MAHESH([protected]) who sits in EC1 campus(hp bangalore) on ‘28/july/2015’.

            Also I asked for the return of my bills which were said to be duplicate
            and I have received the following bills :

            Which gives the total as 5234 but the unapproved amount is 9784 how we dont know

            Original reports are sent on 28th July kindly check them thoroughly as they are 100% original. Rest for the duplicate bills I got them stamped from hospital and submitted to the jp nagar bangalore office ... ack no. I mentioned earlier... no response...need my money urgently...
            I have a huge set of proofs in the form of mails as well that I sent but got no response...

              I have parental insurance taken via my company JP Morgan Services India Ltd. Howeve, recently when my mother got admitted to hospital for hypoglycaemia, they denied the claim saying - "As per the submitted documents, patient was admitted for ? hypoglycemia in k/c/o DM, hypertension, dyslipidemia on 16/08/15 and discharged on 20/08/15. On scrutiny of the claim documents, it was found that all its vitals were within normal limit. Also, oral tablets were given during hospitilisation. No active line of treatment given to the patient. Hospitilisation not justified in this case. Hence the claim stands denied under clause 1.0." Don't understand how they can reject the claim, wherein I had a doctors letter advising her to take to the hospital as her sugar level was going down. My mother was unconscious & the doctor who had come to check her advised to move her to hospital as she was not able to move her limbs and sugar level dropping by. On taking to the hospital emergency ward, her sugar level had dropped further (to 106) form what was observed at home (it was 155). My mom is diabetic and was taking insulin twice, along with GLimisave M2 (before meals - twice), Glucobay M25(thrice in a day) and Lipaglyn (in the morning after breakfast). On admission, doctor immediately stopped insulin and Glucobay M25 and observed her for next 4 days continuously checking her sugar levels. There was a definite line of treatment so I don't understand how can they reject with the above reason. Dr. Pardiwala advised then to keep the sugar level a little on the higher side, because that can be controlled, however such sudden drop of low sugar levels may have adverse effect on brain and her heart and is very risky for her health. Does the insurance company wanted me to wait for my mother's sugar level to drop to 40 - 50 and then hospitalize her . Luckily we reached in time to hospital to avoid further dropping of sugar level. I tried to reach out to Medi Assist team on mails, phone but they are not reverting. Please help me.

                  I work in Infosys and my company is tied up with Medi Assist. My wife had a surgery and I provided all the documents they needed for claim. Its been 2 months but nothing was done. Every time I call customer care, they say claim is under process. Worst case is even my wife has insurance from some other company and instead of claiming there I opted for Medi assist. And now I cant claim with other insurance company since its been 2 months from surgery and this pathetic Medi assist will not let me know what is the status..Really frustrating...                     I am a mediclaim policy holder. The policy is issued by New India Assurance Co. Ltd, Chennai. TPA for this policy is Medi Assist Indid. As per norms laid down by this TPA, the policy holder has to inform the TPA immediately on getting admitted to the hospital. I needed to get admitted to the hospital on[protected]. I desperately tried to contact Medi Assist on[protected]/49066500. I could not contact them. The hospital agreed to admit me and get clearance from TPA. On getting discharged I had to wait 7 hours to get out of the hospital refused to let me out without the approval of TPA. This was a bigger mental/physical torture than going through the treatment.My repeated attempts to contact TPA on the given tel.nos. failed as the phones were continuously engaged.Finally on getting the clearance at 6 o'clock in the evening it was found that certain amounts were deducted.As the amount was considerable the hospital officials and I tried to contact the TPA to seek clarifications, but failed to contacta them as the line were either busy or kept off the hook. I finally had to pay the difference amount and got out of the hospital at 8.00 P.M.Due to poor facilities and delay in processing claims I have gone through a lot of physical/mental torture, that too when I am in poor health. I want to be compensated by Medi Assist for a sum of Rs.25000/-. Besides the TPA has deducted certain sums for which I am actually eligible . I shall take up this issue separately.

I have joined medi assist india TPA pvt ltd as an Asst Manager - BD on 16thApril 2012 in mumbai and was transferred to Noida office at same position at my will. I worked in Noida for about 3 months in Medi Assist and finally resigned on 4th jan 2014. I also got mail from the HR (Ms. Chahat Manchanda) confirming my resignation and my last working day and later i also got my relieving letter. Now its been more than a month starting from 1may 2015 i am continously calling Ms. Chahat Manchanda but she is not responding to my calls neither replying to my mails apart from the first call which she answered to know the reason for my call. My PF account number is KN/BN/25970/2899 . My pf account in maintained in bangalore. My pf amount is. 55k. Please help me in this issue so that processing of my pf becomes easy.                               > This is with regard to the cashless claim approval. My employee id is 321545 and i work in attra infotech. My father got admitted in St Johns hospital on wednesday 15th april. I applied for cashless facility and got an approval of 50000 against an estimated amount of 1.25 lac. Ack claim: 11070981. Today my father was supposed to get discharged and the final bill was sent to mediassist which amounted to 1, 93, 743. On this i got an approval of 20920. Ack no:11102252. The mediassist id is [protected]. According to my policy i should get 60% amount i.e. 1.16 lac from you. But i have got an approval of only 70920. I called mediassist customer care 5 times. They could not provide me any explanation and kept me on hold for more than 1 hour. Then i went to their office in bangalore. It got closed by the time i reached there. Because of this we had to delay the discharge till tomorrow. We went ahead with the treatment hoping that you would pay 60%. Now i dont have enough cash to get my father discharged from the hospital. I have only 40% of the total amount. I was really harassed by your customer care executive who promised me callbacks. But i didnt get any response from their side. Kindly provide me an explanation on the same and process my claim correctly as soon as possible.

                                  My wife got admitted for a maternity on 22nd of January in an Emergency. She delivered a baby girl on 22nd of January. I called up mediassit on 22nd for intimation. It does not accept my intimation and wanted me to send an email. Since she was in emergency, I stayed day and night in the hospital, most of the offices were closed on 26th January hence I was able to send an Email only on Monday 27th of January. My question is why they did not accept the intimation on Telephone. It took me a series of 5 to 10 e-mails along with follow-ups to get the claim registered. My wife got discharged on 6th of February and I submitted the claim documents by 19th of February. I got a query on 1st of March that I need to submit the reason for delay. I wrote an application about the same I and submitted by 2nd of March. Mediassist did not provide me any status till 31st of March. On calling the customer care they told me that the claim has been repudiated and I need to contact a certain number[protected] in Bombay to take the case further. My question why do I have to call Bombay when I am staying in Bangalore. Trying for half and hour, ring goes and nobody responds on the number. 1-800 number is busy for hours at a stretch and If you dial the office number mentioned on site then security picks up the phone and tells that "The madam in charge has gone for lunch" Its a sheer case of customer harassment, not guiding the customer properly, not dealing through stipulated customer care and denying valid claims for no appropriate reasons. Never Ever insure through Medi Assist if you want a peace of mind and your claims to go through. My claim number is 10893124.

                                      Please note my daughter is in TCSand we had a claim regarding hospitalization and we have received trhe same.further check up was done.later asked to do MRI for further treatment. we have done the same and sent the bills for reimbursement.but is rejected.earlier claim we have received.if patient is unwell after thirty days .why claim has been rejected.patient cant be in hospital for months .pl look in to the matter
