As per Piramal Healthcare they have informed me that recently (how recently is not clear) they have marked this food supplement as having animal parts.
It is the Cholecalciferol that they are sourcing from animals.
I am as I read this writing to their [protected]@piramal.com to get the details.
Unfortunately I opened the bottle with a blind trust that it has been a veg product so far.
The moment I opened the bottle, the red-dot mark shown up and I was shocked.
I had trusted this brand for so long.
I have tried to find which are the sources of this animal product used for VitD3 that is added to this product. But it is definitely one product which has been VERY POPULAR for ages since 80s that I have consumed and it was - assumed till this Dot tagging start - that it was a vegetarian product.
Now things changed.

What is the non veg part of the contents of Ferradol syrup that made the company mark it with a red dot? It's not clear from the resolution. Looks like MedPlus had an out of the forum Settlement with the complainant
