Hello Team, I Would to inform that my I convert my Postpaid Mobile no : [protected] to Prepaid, All my due care clear. But sorry to say that your airtel team do not start my prepaid no, due to no verification of my ID Proof, which i handover to your Executive who collect it from me. I Call many times to Customer Care but their is no response by them.Try to understand the problem, which I my facing from appro more than 10 days. I also go to your ARC at Malviya Nagar to Submit my ID Proof for verification for above said no, but they reject to accept it and ask for go to south extension ARC. And the South Extension ARC people said, submit your documents from where u got the prepaid SIM. what will i do in the case. I think this is a very bad service from your team. If you do the needful, i would be very thanksful to you. Best Regards.

    Hi, I am VenkataRamanaMurthy Dala holding Airtel Broadband connection and connection/link was down from last 6 days but no resolution from their end. Instead of fixing the issue they concentrate more on closing the ticket. I have raised the ticket on last sunday dated 06th October 2013 and ticket reference no is: 39501512. When we call the customer care it will take to connect the team for 30 minutes after connecting the customer care guy(Sudhil Patil) will debug the issue without knowing the reason he has changed the router password and saying it will work after 30 mins. After again our work is to connect the customer care team to raise the issue and they will generate the ticket and next day their tecnician(Mahadev) came after verifying the issue he will tell the issue is at hub i will check and come but he never returns when we call him he will tell fixing the issue in another half an hour it will work, like that so many half an hours, 6 end of the days over still the issue not fixed. We are wasting our money on calling up the customer care team, technicians and monthly bills(without any usage).           I was shifting my residence from Noida to Delhi. Placed a request on Airtel to close the account on 10 July. An executive came to my new residence to collect past due payments. I cleared an amount of 2290.50/- via cheque. The executive assured me the account is closed and that no further payments need to be made. I continue to receive calls from Airtel asking why I closed my acount despite my having cleared that I have shifted my residence many times over. On the morning o[protected] An executive from Aitel by the name of Raju Das calls me and says an outstanding of 3500 something (cant recall exact amount). He says if I make the payment today the account will be closed. I am shocked to hear this, because before this I received a) an assurance from an executive that my account is closed and b) no intimation of any kind (no email nor any physical bills) from airtel that I still have an outstanding. I explain to him the absurdity of his claim. I tell him that I am prepared to pay the original outstanding which was 1222/-. To this he says he will talk to his superior and call me back. He calls me back an says pay 1499/- by today 3.00 PM and we will close this account. (he has no logical explanation for why 1499 and not 1222/-) To this I request at least give me time till tomorrow so I can pull out my past payment details and arrange for the payment. He says either make the payment by today 3.00 pm or the amount will increase. I don't understand this new form of extortion that Airtel has resorted to especially when I'm willing to settle a bill that in my opinion is not valid. I asked for a day to go back home and see if the earlier executive gave me any receipts. When I requested Mr. Das to let me speak with hes superior he said that he does not have a superior in this department. Which makes me wonder, did he speak to anyone at all the first time or did he reach the conclusion on his own. Typically a company like Airtel should want to protect its brand image and not indulge in immoral and unethical practices such as this. However as an individual I am extremely distressed and unhappy about the way this situation is being handled,

            Dear all, I have airtel postpaid connection Since last 5 years. But the matter is that presently I am using airtel network in bhavnagar isconmegacity near sterling hospital, very poor signal strength in this area. I had already registered complaint but no any improvement as I am facing too much difficulties. Kindly take initiative to improve network service.

              Sir, I am tarun bhalla and I have two airtel fixline connection [protected] and second one is [protected](on my wife's name-Yogita bhalla). Actually on dated 07.10.2013 my first connection [protected] dead so we got log in a complaint against that( complaint no.[protected] but they gave no proper solution for it. Even now, My second connection too is not working. I have called couple of times to customer care and with their seniors but they are not giving any positive response. This is the 4th day and I got frustrate with their careless behaviour for the customers. I am really unhappy and want to take a hard action against them.                   I was using [protected] sim in dongle on 08 Oct 13 from around[protected] hrs after that I checked my balance it was only Rs 2.35 only where as it was 96+.When enquired to exec. Mr Shyam he talks rudely and ignored. He told that your amt is deducted in SMS send by you. Where as I did not send any SMS. Kindly look into it and help me in getting my balance back

                  i am airtel prepaid user No. [protected]. on 4/12/07 i browse airtel live but dissconnect without downloading but i check my account there is 3o/-Rs deducted. thats not all they also activated aitell missed u service, Vas99, VAS50 without my permission. so please take the strick action.

I have filed a complaint on saturday, customer care people said that because of server problem some customers losing their balance and it will be added back to their accounts.                   On 24th May 2008 I have recharged my mobile ([protected])for rs 50 through one of the software called MCheck available at Airtellive, since yet I have not received any mobile balance but my SBI bank a/c has been debited by rs 50, when talked to the bank officials they answered that the transaction has not yet reversed from Airtel so we cant help, when I spoke to Airtel customer care they are not responding to the matter properly. Please do the needfull for me and all those who are suffering from this kind of behaviour of telecom companies.

                  Airtel — Charged for Java Game Download without any data downloaded

                  Airtel had activated the Airtel Live Internet service facility without my knowledge. On 11.10.2008 around 11:50 PM I started receiving SMS stating I have downloaded some games, etc due to accident press of a button on my mobile. I later called the customer care and intimated the same to the executive; they again said if you have not downloaded the same not worry about the same. There might be some wrong in the server and hence this SMS is coming. Sooner I started receiving more SMS stating I have downloaded and they have charged for the same. I switched off my mobile.

                  On the receipt of the monthly bill on 27.10.2008 I found that airtel has charged Rs 1377 for these services which I have not availed nor did I intended to avail. My explanation to the airtel to show me download is not responded. They claim I have downloaded the games; if that is the case there should be some transfer of data to my mobile. They are not able to prove / substantiate the download on my mobile but have already deducted the same. Also for every other service they look for confirmation from the client for that service. Here in my case I did not download any data nor I got any confirmation request.

                  Airtel does not have any proof of download, still they say that irrespective of whether download had happened or not, they charge the customers.

                  Please look into the matter and kindly provide a solution to get back the excess amount debited from my account.

                  Airtel Mobile Office — not free amount deducted from main account

                  I have an Airtel Prepaid mobile connection ([protected]) and have been availing internet facility through my phone through 'Mobile Office'. I recharged my phone on 09.10.09 at 2.22 p.m. with TransID[protected]. As per terms of this Recharge Coupon costing Rs. 395.00, I'm supposed to get absolutely free unlimited surfing & downloading service from Airtel for one month, i.e., upto 10.10.09. But since the evening of 09.10.09 and till this moment 10.10.09 at 06.30 p.m.), they have been deducting balance from my main account whenever I'm surfing/downloading. I have tried to contact Airtel's Customer Service by calling @ 121/12118, but they didn't bother to receive my call. I've intimated the problem to them via e-mail @ [protected]@airtelindia.com and @ nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in but did not get any solution apart from an acknowledgement mail.

When i sent message to 121 i received a message that 'sorry this service could not activated this time please try after some time' so i sent message again. and again i received this message after messaging many times i received a message from airtel that service is activated on your no. when i checked my balance my balance reduced from 47 to 2 Rs. when i contacted to customer care they said that 'service had activated many times on your no. so we can't back your balance.
                  This happened with me today. I was busy and did not use my nokia phone until I recieved message saying I have downloaded JavaGame and have been charged Rs. 50. I called up customer care and even customer care managers are not believing me I haven't download anything. They are only believing their software (which could have flaw) and proving me liar. If I could lodge a complaint against Airtel I would do that. Please any one point where and how to do that.

                  Airtel Prepaid — Deducted INR 30 without activation of any services

                  My 'Airtel request reference number is [protected]', dated 02 March 2010.

                  I have an issue 'a VERY BAD one with AIRTEL PREPAID SERVICES '.My concern is that I have not activated for the 'audio renewal services',despite of this my amount INR 35 gets deducted. Almost a month back i had requested the airtel customer care to DEACTIVATE all the promotional calls i receive. The customer care confirmed saying that the services has been deactivated. I trusted Airtel services. But now, i happened to see that my INR 35 has been deducted from my account. I had not opted or activated ANY OF THEIR SERVICES, moreover whenever i use to receive these calls i use to CANCEL IMMEDIATELY without listening to the Promos.

                  Today when i spoke to the customer care, i requested them to credit my INR 35 to which they DENIED in doing so.

                  Is this the way Airtel trying to PULL money from their customers. I RECHARGE INR 275 more than 3 times a month. But i regret for using Airtel as Airtel CHEAT'S their valued customer in this manner.

                  I am very UPSET by the way Airtel deduct MONEY from their customers. I WANT MY MONEY INR 35 TO BE CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT WHICH IS DEDUCTED from my a/c. ON dialing the customer care they have been constantly saying that that i had subscribe to one of their value added services ,which i did not. But they have refused to hare any of the complaints and have refuse to pay back the money to me. This is not the first occasion this has happened,but on the previous occasions they had paid back the money.

                  i am using airtel prepaid service since 2007, my number is [protected], they have charged for messgaes i sent to my friends on 17/10/10 i.e vijayadashami a festival day. they have not intimated to me and sudden reduction of my balance from my main balance account. note:- i have already subscribed to SMS pack of worth 77 per month it gives around 10000 local/std messages. this is not a first time that airtel was doing like this it repeats from last year and please take a necessary action and i hope this will not repeat to any customer.

I never used caller tune facility any time . 15 days ago they deducted Rs.30 from my account and start the caller tune. when I asked for that they says from your phone you have dial some 57878 and so we can't give your money reward back. when I visited customer care center ther was a number of customer who has same problem and to all they answer them we will not give you the money reward back.
                  i want to see my call history for previous months on internet how can i.
                  yesterday 02/12/10 at 4:30pm my balance was Rs.138 without making a single call
                  But after 1 hour my balance turn to Rs.15. I call customer care they told that they didnt know how balance is deducted.so plz take action against it!

                  I have been charged Rs. 99 on two consecutive days i.e. total of Rs 198 has been deducted from balance by airtel . When i contacted to airtel customer care they told i had downloaded a java game which i never did and on the very next day they say that the game you have downloaded its subscription is renewed.

                  There is daily deduction Rs 5 from my account of Airtel No. [protected] inspite of my subscribing to Voice Cricket Pack. It has been happening for many days and it has happened for the days when my phone was swich off due to my movement to J&K where prepaid phones do not work.

                  I am using Airtel Prepaid service.My Prepaid balance is getting deducted even when the phone is idle without any kinds o[censored]sage like calls browsing,etc.I happened to me before when I called customer service they said there is some service enabled on my account which I am not totally aware of.They disabled the service and it was not happening for a while.

                  I happen to notice this again so,when I called the customer service they are saying they don't see the charges getting deducted on their system and no service is activated.

                  They lodged a complaint and gave me the number and told me I will hear from them 6 days later.

                  I asked them how can I stop this in the mean while.The customer care representative said he will transfer the call to some and hanged up.

                  Just imagine if Airtel cheats customers by stealing 30 paise from their account. For a billion population like our country they make whole lot of money.

                  I request this to be handled seriously and make these giants know they cannot ill treat and neglect the ordinary public.

                        i have this 15gb plan of airtel broadband connection [protected]. which is almost a month old now i am very happy with the service of airtel here until i discover a fault in the modem one day when the technical person for airtel AMIT NANDY-[protected] arrived he said you have to request for a change of modem which will be done by us by lodging again another complaint requesting change in modem BINATONE 850W purchased from airtel 30 days back. now after the regular complains i was made aware that modem is at fault due to lightning, where am i to play a role there modem was working fine after the lightning and got disturbed late evening..

                        kindly look into the matter seriously because being a platinum customer with airtel i run a cug with you and couple of 4g wifi connections as well.. this is about a customer trust in your company..
                        kindly get back connection back to working, .. because it has already been 7 days without internet if it is not possible kindly surrender my connection because i am not here to pay for a thing for which i have paid a month back itself..

                          I have started Internet access so in reply of it I got message that you are able to use 200 MB in first bill cycle. I used internet up to 3 days after it received message of bill and bill amount was around Rs. 1000 then I closed that plan immediately. Please consider my complain and reduce bill amount by Rs. 1000 (internet access only). I will close my Airtel connection if you will not reduce my bill amount.

                            Dear Sir/Madam, After I have not got any valid response from Airtel with several emails and No higher authority emails to complaint I am raising a complaint here hoping my concern will be resolved. On August 14th I converted to Prepaid service from Postpaid service. During my Postpaid service I had deposited Rs 3000 as an advance amount for International Roaming. On 11th August when requested for conversion to prepaid customer care representative confirmed me that the advance amount which was paid towards International service will be refunded with Cheque and will be delivered to my residence address within 45 days and I had also submitted all required supporting documents but it is now close to 60 days more the date of process still I have not recieved the cheque. As currently outside India contacted Airtel via mails but each time getting different responses. My complaint is why the process is being delayed so long and why the correct process is not being followed and in case for some reason if the process is being delayed or changed why it is not being informed via SMS/email or by calls? whereas if it is something pending from our side we get so Many calls/SMS/emails as a remainder. I have attached the 3 different responses from Airtel I don't know which response to believe and go further.

                            Dear Consumer Complaint Team, Thank you for your valuable support provided to get my advance. I got the cheque to my residence for which I had requested in August 2013 to Airtel was delayed as Airtel has sent cheque to my old residence but that payment was stopped later on Saturday(16th November 2013) I got cheque to my new residence for which I had actually requested. I thank you again for considering my complaint and supporting to resolve.

                            I have got finally got the cheque on Saturday(16th November 2013) to my current address which I had submitted to Airtel Office while I have done change to Prepaid. I am currently not in India.

                            I have submitted to the bank I will update here once cheque amount is cleared. Thanks for initiating the process which was on hold.

                              Sir, I am kadir maner, from pune.in search I asked for deactivation( film news ) subbollywoodnews and photoshoots services. The answer is send message through no 56505.as they advised I sent many sms on same no.to deactivation of my bollywoodnews and photoshoot services.they riplying as can't send your message.so far they are charging me rs.8/- per day.and stating that you have renewed both services and we charged rs. 5/- and rs.3/- for the daily providing services.actually I never asked to company for renew the said services.so this is injustice for me.please look into the matter, as they will stop to charge me. Though whenever I sent sms on abou said no.and they replying that you have not send any option, when my copmplaint is for deactivation for both the services, whether they are not skilled or am i a mad person.

                                Hi, My mobile number is [protected], I am an old user of Airtel, used their 3G blackberry services, but port-out to Reliance last year. Now port-in back to Airtel after being offered Solitaire 1599 plan which was very much same as Unlimited 1499 plan i was using in reliance. I was told that Solitaire 1599 plan provides 10, 000minutes Local+STD including LL minutes + national roaming incoming + outgoing minutes Free and 8GB 3G speed across India. This was told to me over my email ID. But still i double checked with 121 executive, sales executive and airtel website. Now when i have received my bill today, i have been charged for calling Landline (fixed line number) and apart from this when i inquired from 121 executive they are saying that i will also not get free incoming & outgoing in national roaming. It was so surprising when i asked 121 executive to tell me the link of airtel website where these details are written then he said they have internal link and i can't view this. I am feeling cheated by Airtel because when i was using reliance then they offered me this plan and i got it confirmed from airtel everywhere and now they are charging me in other way. Now since i have port-in from reliance i can't port-out for 90days so i have to suffer it. I never though that airtel will do such kind of miss commitment and cheating. I also wrote an email to them on [protected]@in.airtel.com on same issue but no body replied from there. I also subscribed to their hello tunes service on my name tune and subscribed for 1year service but when i asked 121 executive to remove airtel advertisement which play before hello tune he said it will be done in 4hrs but nothing happened. I have no issue in paying airtel for what i am using but i atleast expect some quality services. I didn't make any pending dues from my side to airtel in the past when i port-out to reliance and even when i was using their broadband service from 2004 to 2008 and i am not aware but i myself went to their regional office to return their modem and other accessories but till date i even didn't received my security deposit back but i didn't complain for that but today was the height. Requesting Consumercomplaints.in to please provide some solution here.

                                Till now i haven't got any revert on my complaint. As a duty of mine, i had already made the bill payment and will do so for until 90 days then will move back to reliance or Voda.

                                Also would like to know from your side on this issue that can i legally fight for my rights on what was committed to me and what is given to me. Please advise as i have emails from Airtel on this subject.

                                God's swear will never every advise anyone to go for Airtel, as everyone can see this post is itself an example of Airtel miss-communication and mismanagement.

                                  Hi, I had given disconnection notice on 24th April for my no.[protected]consumer no.[protected]. The billing cycle was supposed to end 9th May. I had vacated the property by that time. However Airtel didnt disconnect and asked me to pay one month extra rent which I denied. Today, I got a call from Delhi that they have filed a case against me at the Delhi Court for not paying the bill and asked me to attend the court.                                     The Airtel representatives in Hyderabad, Kukatpally, are selling VisionTek USB Data Card in an Airtel box. These guys are betraying the people by telling them that it will be unlocked automatically after 3 months. But when we call them after 3 months, they abuse the customers by threatening them. They would pick up the call when we call them, but they would tell the customers that they are really busy and in a meeting and call them later. These guys are making people fools. They are selling VisionTek USB data cards for about Rs. 1500/-. I think this is done separaltely by these representatives itself but not sure who are behind this scam. I' am the victim. I took the data card from them 3 months ago. I called them after 3 months many many times. All the times, they would bluff me with some stuff on the phone. I suffered a lot with these people. I wasted lot of time by going to Kukatpally to check for unlocking and in return they threatened me by shouting at me. I' am totally frustrated with these guys, but still my data card is not unlocked. They said that they would come to my office and complain. I' am asking them to please come to my office. I donno these guys are betraying people and threatening customers in return. They are doing mistakes and started complaining on customers. What kind of justice is this? I request Airtel, the company to check upon these people because I' am not sure if even Airtel, the company is aware of these kind of activities being undertaken in Kukatpally by these representatives.                                       I have been using the Airtel broadband connection in Bangalore since May 2012. In the month of March, 2013 I shifted my house to a different locality and called the Airtel customer care to transfer the Airtel Broadband connection to my new home. The executive told me that they will do the feasibility check at my new home and move the connection. However, after two days they informed me that there is no port available for new connection at my new location. So I told them to disconnect the service. After this I went out of station and when I came back they still kept on sending me bills. This continued for two months. And once again I called their customer care and told them that I had already put in the request for cancellation two months back. And this time they disconnected it but asked me to pay for the two months. I told them that I have not been using the connection since the first time I asked them to disconnect the service. I told them to check the broadband usage and they agreed that there is no usage during the last two months. Come June-August 2013, I started getting several calls again for the payment of two months i.e Rs ~2733.81 Once again I had to explained them my case from day one and finally after writing several emails to [protected]@in.airtel.in I got an email from Ujjal Bora, airtel presence (airtel customer service team) asking me to pay Rs. 557.47. I choose not to pay as I had never use their connection and this is confirmed by Airtel customer service by checking my usage during the disputed period. Now, today 5th Oct 2013 I got a call from a lady name Tripthi claiming to be a lawyer from Delhi and asking me to pay the money instantly or she will go ahead and issue a summon. Even after my consistently asking why Delhi court and not in Bangalore court as my connection was in Bangalore she refused to answer me. I ask the case number and details regarding the case she again didn’t provide me any specifics. She even refuse to send me SMS related to case saying she is not authorize to send SMS! All she kept saying is pay the money or you will be ask to appear before Delhi court. Just to verify if she is what she is claiming to be I asked where I need to pay the amount she within 2 minutes gave me all the Airtel Store addresses in Bangalore and kept on calling me every 30 minutes to check on the payment. She also insisted to use my credit or debit card for the payment and not to pay in cash. I have till now not paid the amount as I believe this is just fake caller from Airtel or their vendor to extort money from their customer. I explored online for similar issue and found lot of people getting such calls from Airtel claiming to be lawyer from Delhi Court. I just want to be inform people to be careful of Airtel before availing their service. Please do share this with your friends and family.                                         Please note my airtel Number : [protected], Account Number : [protected] has been initially activated from month of Dec-12 with monthly package of Rs 99. Now, my monthly package has been changed to Rs.789 for month of May and to Rs.999 for June month. Please note that I have never asked for any such changes and both changed has been done without any prior information or acknowledgement. These changes have been made without my consent. Even after doing several follow up with customer care executives, none of them have been able to solve my problem.I have clearly asked for to generate fresh bill with Rs.99 monthly package several times, which airtel has failed to provide me with till date. i'm just fed up with your service. once airtel called me and said that he will check upon this and resolve my prob that time i thought that you must be take some action on this. but alas no use. after 6-7 one airtel executive called me and said that my monthly rental has been increased in apl 30th. i denied upon that i have never received any call for this, how can i choose for my 999 monthly rental for my 200-300 rs uses.may be it could be mistaken from your side, it could be possible some of the employee type 999 instead of 99 and becomes a big issue. Airtel company can check on this and resolve it very easily. airtel executive lying to me. i said him to send me that record ( may be call record which i have made for requesting plan or msg request no.) on this he said that i have to go to police and make a fir on this, he is not gonna take any action. airtel is issuing me another bill after so many complaints even they are not giving me any complaint no. also. i can never followup for my last complaint because of this. all the time i have to raise a new complaint and funny things is that after listening my complaint they put me for hold and disconnect it after 10 min. once i asked to costumer care to tell me request no.if any request for plan change. but he said there is no data for plan change request. it shows very clearly that i have never request for plan change. what type of service airtel company giving to its consumer. instead of resolving problem they are saying to go with legal action. . I also request you to please accept my disconnection request with this as airtel has given me much of mental agony and harassment which I don't want in my day to day life anymore. I'm totally frustrated with airtel, after so many follow-ups airtel's executive called and fixed the date and time for today (7th oct- 11am) so that my mother can listen the call recording... when my mother reached there nobody entertain her for 20 min. after 30 min manager ajay pal singh told his executive sahil to play the recording. Mr. Ajay went from office after this. my sahil mother waited there for 2 hours more but Mr. sahil said he couldn't play the recording as outlet's speaker is not working... my mother had to come back. my question is what's that mean to call and ask to come if they cant play the recording. why they let waited my mom for 2 hour if speakers was not working, they could clearly said it before that you can go back to home. nobody is ready to talk pleasantly they are behaving so rude. now airtel is giving as mental and physical pressure.
