[Resolved]  Idea Cellular Ltd — Idea Data plan - 1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days

I am a customer of Idea from more than 4 years and simultaneously availing different services from Idea. Yesterday, my data plan (1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days) got over, today i recharged the same again through Net Banking via Paytm services. The plan which was shown there is 1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days, and i recharged for the same but what i receive is totally different which is 525 MB for Rs 125 for 30 days. What is this? I inquired the same with the Idea Service center and they are saying they have changed the plan from 7 October 2013, but even if they have changed the same should reflect on the online platform as well, but it didn't. Whose fault is this? I am recharging through net banking seeing the available plan and in return receiving the totally different thing. Is not some type of cheating from both these parties? My complain is either you give me the 1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days or refund my rupees.

I had recharged my internet data plan (1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days) on 11 October 2013 using yours payment portal. The plan which was shown there was 1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days, and i recharged for the same but what i receive is totally different which is 525 MB for Rs 125 for 30 days.

I inquired the same with the Idea Service center and they said they have changed the plan from 7 October 2013, but even if they have changed the same should reflect on your platform as well, but it didn't. Whose fault is this? Certainly not mine. Your payment portal is still showing the same, so you are on the wrong side of your business. The payment portal of yours is still showing Idea's 2G Data Plan under 1GB data for Rs 125 for 30 days.

My earnest request you to first update your website and portal so other people don't get cheated from you and then refund my Rs 125 or provide me 1 GB data for the same.

We have checked and got to know that the details shared on our website are exactly same as it is available on official website of Idea (see attached screenshot). In fact, the amount of talk time or any other benefit that you may receive for a particular recharge value is controlled entirely by operators.

Moreover, we have also highlighted in the disclaimer that the plan details provided on the website are indicative and we do not have control over benefits that will be provided by the operator and would be delivered to end user.
