I had bought the Celebration box during Diwali When i opened it i found Worms in it, i immidiatly called thier customer service number and placed a conplain they asked me to seal the box which is did but no one even bothered to call back or come and visit the place I still have the box and will want to fine the company

    Dear Cadbury I am a regular consumer of yours. Recently i gifted a celebration to my friend on her b'day, but when we opened that there was difference in packaging and finally when we open the chocolate, i.e., Dairy Milk, it was the worst chocolate taste i ever had of Dairy Milk. It was a embarrassing moment. The code is F30927A. The packaging was of September 2013.

      white spots on cadbury dairy milk

      i got this chocolate in cadbury celebration and it has some white bubble like spots, having code k40614 and pkd on. 06/14.i do not know if its fit for consumptions or not.

          I purchased one Cadbury Dairy Silk for Rs 125 and another Cadbury Silk Roast almond for Rs.55 from an outlet called as Grand Bazaar at Minjur, When I opened it after reaching home I found that the packing had shriveled ,melted and not smelling of Chocolates.I returned it to shop who first refused to look into it saying that these 2 pieces were manufactured in May2013 where as the date of sale is[protected]. He has refuse to replace it immediately saying that the product has to be inspected by the Cadbury representative and has collected the same.Till such time I am deprived of my Chocolate. I am holding the original sale bill no.51252 dt.[protected] and the acknowledgment of return of product to Grand Bazaar,Minjur 601203. The shopkeeper has indicated that replacement is not certain. The chocolates were manufactured in May 2013 and the product has not been stored under ideal/hygienic conditions thus the quality of the chocolates have deterioted . I expect immediate replacement and a fair compensation towards my travel and deprivation of pleasure of eating chocolate. Thanks

            On 29th june i purchased 2 packs of cadbury chocolate form a near by shop one of which was opened by my son and when he ate one bite and made a ugly face looking toward me ..........i noticed that the product was fungus effected .....not wasting any time i called up the Cadbury Toll Free no [protected] and registerd my complaint........... i was the adviced to keep the product in same form in the refrigerator.............

            Now till today on 14/8/2013 none of the persons for the company have visited my house to collect the product nor any person or officer from the company has contacted me ............... i think the consumer cell of cadbury puts down the complaints made to them i think there officer don't take any interest of the complaints made to them ............i am very annoyed form the company and its services............

            The above reply is a standard reply which I got for my complaint as well. It's been more than a month and no contact from company rep and no response to follow up emails. Pathetic customer service department. Delay is understandable but no response or silence and ignorance is unacceptable.

              Hi I bought a TEMPO POWER NUT from Buy-Rite in Orchards today after I opened it I realised it was so old I then checked the expiry date and it is 1st July 2013 …..16:[protected]
              Surely Cadbury’s should prompt their clients not to sell goods that have expired? I won’t drive 14kms to exchange it……all this for a R10 chocolate

                Hello,

                I purchased a box of 72 pieces Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates at a cost of Rs.360/- from a store in the main market of Gokulpeth Nagpur.
                I wanted to distribute these to my colleagues as it’s my birthday today, however to my disappointment, when they opened the chocolates, they saw that the chocolates were degraded
                They had pimple like formations with white fungus like appearance on all the opened pieces.

                The packaging date on the box is 13/5/13, the product code is K30513, net weight of the box is 612g.
                The note on the chocolate says “Best before 12 months from packaging”, which is definitely not the case.
                We opened 5-7 pieces and all of them were alike. We “felt” the rest of the pieces from over the wrapping, and ALL of them are the same.

                Could you please look into this on priority?

                  I bought a Cadburys Temptations(65 Rs pack) yesterday in my area.. I am always cautious about expiry date and checked the date of manufacturing. It was mentioned as May2013 and best before 9 months from the date of packing. But when i opened it there white coloured fungus all over the chocolate.
                  Dont know what to do!!! Anybody to guide me.

                  I also faced such issue. I bought Cadbury Temptation (Rs 90 pack) from my nearest general store on July 8th, 2018. It's packaging date is Dec. 2017 with best before 9 months. So it is not expired yet but when I unwrapped it to eat, I got shocked. I'm attaching the photos, I captured, to show you. I contacted the company 3 times about this via email and sent clicks of the product. It has been more than 20 days, but nothing yet. WTF!

                    Thank you for the new wrapper for Flake! It provides fantastic security! however, every Cadbury flake I have had since the new wrapper has been introduced is now stale! I remember when Flake was sooooo in the mouth gorgeous and just melted with the first mouthful! it is now just a lump of chocolate and does not resemble the 'Good old fashioned' Flake at all!
                    The 'lump' doesn't even taste fresh! Yuch! It tastes stale! Sometimes when opening it the chocolate even looks 'white' - which, in my book, is stale?
                    Not the same quality you used to have! What is going on?

                              Hi, My name is Prince Jain from New Delhi.

                              Wanted to share a worst scenario i had with such a branded and number 1 choclate company in India with Cadbury.

                              Day before yesterday on 29/10/12 i had purchased one Darily milk choclate of rs 20 / - from a shop whose TAG number is :[protected].. on that choclate Pkd date is : 03/12 and expiry is mentioned as best before 24 months.

                              Now when i opened and had two three bites it was mixed with Fungi and many more bacteria was there in it. Before i saw i already bites of that choclate after my throat got infected and i did vomiting very badly.
                              Now guide is there any Audit department in such a big company how you are making fool of customer. I do have photos of that choclate for your reference. I have all the proofs form Doctor prescription also mentioning about throat infection.

                              I cannot expect such a ridiculous behaviour from such a big organization who is having so faithful name in market.
                              Diwali season is coming and before that only you have started doing mixtures in quality.

                              Now i need to highlight this matter as much as i can so that all should be aware of that Cadbury is going something wrong in their products as Diwali is coming,. So better it should happen with any body else also .

                              I doubt your commitment. The products sold by Cadbury India are inferior to those sold by the Cadbury in Europe and the UK. If Mars, Coca-Cola and Pepsico can maintain the same standards in India then why can't your company do the same? Do you guys really think its okay to sell poor quality stuff in India? After Kraft takeover I thought the quality would improve but sadly its still the same!

                              Myself Shrikant Huddar, resident of Nagpur. I was purchased Gift box of chocolate costing rs 200/-, on 14-November 2012,
                              On the box it was mention 3 (Three) packets included in the box but when i was opened the box i found only 2 (Two) packets in it...
                              i complaint to the retailer regarding this, but he said it is not his fault, i demanded my money back or replace the gift box of chocolate, but he was not agree to do any thing, I left my box which i was purchased in his shop without getting any replacement and money back...
                              so i request you to kindly look into the matter, i give justice to me...we have faith on your company and product quality, but from this incident i get disappointed by the service rendered by the retailer.So in this case what i have to do, i have not received my money and gift box. i mention the Name & Address of Retailers below:

                                I, Asoke Das, have been the distributor of Cadbury India Pvt Ltd. since last 20 years from Dakshineswar to Birati market. On 23rd Sep 2012, I was sacked without a single day notice. Ten people are associated with my organization. They all got out from the work in that day including me as I do not have any other setup to put them. Still I want to work with Cadbury in mutual understanding.
                                Now I am holding 12 lacs stock in my go-down. They are neither willing to transfer the stock nor evaluate as rupee value. Even a lot of damage stock are there. They are not entertaining now. Without getting NOC(No objection certificate), they dispatched the cadbury goods to a new distributor in my area. Please help me out of this and I need clear solution.

                                  Dear Cadbury Team

                                  I bought 2 bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk from a general store in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. On opening the first bar, I found small white growths in the cracks of the chocolate. I checked the manufacturing date of the chocolate and it showed 06/12 which means its is within limits of expiry. I know that at times due to melting and freezing chocolate develops white spots on the surface and have seen them many a times and know it is not hazardous to the health but this is a growth or may be eggs of a worm/insect.

                                  I did check your website for any citation of such things and could only find the below FAQ which no where resembles the growth that is there on the chocolate bar purchased by me.

                                  The chocolate bar that I purchased has white spots on the surface? Why does this happen?
                                  When chocolate has undergone prolonged exposure to heat and subsequent cooling it results in discolouration of the surface. This is caused by the separation of the cocoa butter, which solidifies on the surface giving it a white appearance.

                                  Besides when I opened the second chocolate bar, it was completely fine with no such growths. It clearly means that its not the fault of the shopkeeper in terms of improper storage or because of the temperature changes that would have happened during refrigeration of the bar. I do remember the case when some worms were found out in chocolate and I guess now that people have completely forgotten and gone back with their loyalties of cadbury, company has decided to take the quality for a ride again.

                                  I would really like to understand the circumstances under which such growth occurs from your R&D department and also the quality measures taken by the company to ensure that the food items delivered are safe to be consumed by the consumers.

                                  I am attaching the photographs of the chocolate and the growth for your reference. Please do respond to the questions asked with a satisfactory reply because it dosent take time for these pictures to go viral and people believe in what they see.

                                    This is regarding the current Cadbury Bournville ad being aired.
                                    This ad has a very negative message and impact. Not only the ad is of very bad taste but also highly racist.

                                    Even if we ignore the portrayal of 'slavery, exploitation, color discrimination and colonialism' , there is no possible way to ignore how cruelly the bean (crying like a baby) is thrown away. Its plain cruel and disturbing to watch. This ad lacks in morality and in no way is ethical or suitable for broadcasting!

                                      Hi to all,

                                      I bought dairy milk fruit & nut from Shivalaya (super market) ,Ambattur on 7th august 2012. When i opened it today evening i found that the color of the product was light brown and immediately broken in to pieces e small pieces which is not the case with the usual brand. Then i took the chocolate to the shop were i bought, the person incharge replied that he cannot do anything for that and if i need he may launch a complaint by a week later. He also told that this is not his responsibility, the company have to deal with this problem.

                                      So kindly stop eating nuts for which i have the sample proof and shivalaya super market is not customer friendly.

                                      5 star fruit & nut — found worms & full of fungus

                                      On 4 march their was a gift from surat for 5 star fruit and nut we opened this chocklate we found worms and funges I already send this pictures to company and Mr suresh rao. He fill one form on 20 march 2010 but their is no response from company.
