I bought Motorola Milestone XT 800 EVDO compatible handset. After migrating my Tata indicom sim to OMH sim card, i required to do some settings in Mobile for using internet thorugh OMH card.

But no one form Tata indicom i.e. customer care and TVH are providing me settings. Kindly help me getting settings so that i can use OMH card.

motorokr — Internet Facility on Mobile

i have stared Internet faclity on my moblie & Airtel deducted money for this facilty but i m still not able to start internet on my mobile.

i approached to Customer care & they are giving some diffrnet no. to contact to GPRS team.

i have also got message to call on 198 but when i try on this no this is not valid no.

I think i have to stop this facilty on my mobile & also i want to stop connection of Airtel.
i hope any one can help me for this issue.
Dear All

I got many calls from other buyer who bought this mobile and faced same problem. Anyway

Here is who to get it through.

1. Just replace you existing SIM with OMH sim card (Applicable for all CDMA connections)
2. Restart your phone
3. Choose applicable APN like MTS/TATA or reliance in settings, Dual SIM Settings, CDMA access Point Names.
4. Wait for alteast 24 Hours to sync your phone with server
5. Internet will start working and if you are in 3G network, you will see 3G bars on your phone screen, that shows ur net is working now.
6. Enjoy.

no settings are required. just follow what i mentioned in above 6 steps. Important is you should have OMH with Internet facility. Today there are OMH cards without Internet facility too. So while buying must tell seller that you want to use this for Internet.

Motorola — service center changed my battery while servicing my phone.

When i gave my phone moto e to my nearest service center for a software update they changed my battery and now its not working properly.

Motorola — Moto G 2014 Lollipop problems (5.0.2)

I have a moto g2 and it has lollipop 5.0.2 . After lollipop update my phone is lagging, apps are crashing and lagging especially facebook and messenger . I want to know is there a solution to it and when will I get lollipop 5.1 update.

    Hi,

    I have a similar problem. I bought this phone on 30-Apr. The SMS alert rings even on vibrator mode. And it rings every 5 minutes or so till the time you dont read the SMSes.

    I am not happy with this behavior. Sometimes I get into very uncomfortable situation during meetings because of this.

    I want a replacement of the phone.

    Motorola — mis-information

    I have purchased Motorola 810 Handset on Dec08. Somehow the chrging point (USB point) got faulty.
    When i took it to the service center, i was told that there is water spilage on the PCB of the phone so the repiring cost will not be covered under warranty. For repairing they are charging entire cost of handset.

    But later i came to know that the Handset contains 2 Watermarks - one directly on the surface inside the Back cover and second watermark is on the PCB board. I asked then that let me know how without Damaging the first watermark the second got damaged.I asked the same from customer care and also Online support but they never replied on this. Instead at first they told me that My cell is not i warranty and i sent them the Receipt, they told me that this is not covered under warranty.

    Can anyone help me on this.

    MOTOROLA EX115 — Misleading Information

    I am Murthy Purchased MOTOROLA EX115 Mobile from UNIVERCELL MOBILE STORES at HUMAYUN NAGAR ,MEHDIPATNAM,HYD:500028,after the confirmation from the sales person that this mobile has the feature of sending BULK SMS,byt after i had purchased it and while in use i came to know that only 1SMS can be sent from this Mobile.
    I had purchased this mobile only to send the BULK SMS which are required for me frequently,,,these people simply increase their sales by giving mis information.
    Let me know How can i resolve this issue?

    Hi,

    This is regarding a complaint about the model "Motorola EX115" model, which I purchased last month from Banglore. After reading and comparing all the features with other models I purchased this model. But later when started using I came to know that it doesn't have featutes of sending BULK SMSs (lmost even all the basic models of other makes have got BULK SMSs features) which I required mainly in my day to day life. This model allows to send only 1 message at a time and performance is too bad and hangs many times.

    And the second problem i am facing is most of the time when i try to compose a new message I am getting an error like "Not available". Then I need to make a reboot and then it works fine.
    I agree with the complaint posted about bulk sms sending, but the issue here is even service centre guys are not aware of this. Iam also facing the same issue and I found that we can not forward bulk sms, but if we write manually, we can send it to more than one person. and the Iam also facing the issue that the handset shows "not available" sometimes when I try to send sms. Finally I got to know that all these problems are manuafacturing defects, because company replaced my set 2 times and still all the issues are same. There is also a echo sound in microphone.

    MOTOROLA EX115 — restarting again n again after charging

    my motorola ex-115 handset purchased on 30th oct 2010 is having a problem of restarting again n again after charging it.
    n it shows an empty battery.
    it happens till i restart it manually..but still it happens for about 8-10 times in a day..

    MOTOROLA EX115 — Not repaired since 20 days

    I bought a Motorola handset in March 2011.From th date of purchase it gave a alarm in 2 minutes interval tone if a sms is not read. Ideposit the handset at Smart Service (Motorola Service Center) in Bapuji Nagar,Bhubaneswar, But since 20 days the service center people tells the coming day, in the next 2 days ,in next week etc., your mobile will be OK. I've not seen such a bad service of Motorola Handsets. Let's see when my set 'd be repaired.

      I purchased a Motorola ex115 from KD electronics on 5Th Nov 2010. Iam facing issues from very first day. This handset has lots of issues like I can't send sms to more than one person at a time. only one person gets the sms and all other in the list will get the blank sms. when I contacted service centre. first they updated the software . than replaced the set two times. still the issues are same. Further there is some echo sound in microphone. Finally I got to know that this is a manuafacturing defect and this issue is in lot of handsets. finally I have decided to file the complaint in the court as Iam not getting any resolution of this.

      Motorola — Echo

      My friends when they call me invariably complain that they get echo sound through the talk. However I normally hear clear voice. My cell is not very old.
      ex119 also bundle of blunders. i m surprised that Motorola has launched this set which is not proper in use. This is really shemfull.

          We have purchased a cell phone EX 128 Motorola made on 26th Jan2011 from "The Electronic Store Shop No.21 Westend Plaza Next to Convergys Nagras Road Aundh Pune-07". The cell phone was auto swtiched off after sending an SMS to either of the cell phone numbers.This fact was brought to the notice of the salesperson working at the said shop. However, it was very embrassing to listen from the salesperson that no service is provided by the shop and one has to visit the service center independently which is located on JM Road. Also, it was told that you should have reported immediately after the product is received and we are not at all responsible/concerned once the product is taken out from the shop. It seems that the shop is voilating certain number of rights of the consumer about the quality and care of the product purchased. We do not know whether we should approach to the consumer court and what kind of compalint to be launched for such kind of ill treatment with carrying troublesome product.

            I had purchased a Motorola Milestone in May 2010. After a month of purchase the phone started giving trouble that automaticlly on its own it would type something & things like that. I gave this for repairs at their service centre in Dadar. After a month they returned this after correcting the fault.

            But , now the phone had another problem. It would switch off & become blank automatically. I again gave this to their Dadar service Centre. Its been almost three months & I don't have a concrete reply from them.

            They admit that the piece is faulty but they don't have a new handset in stock to replace this piece. Inspite of repeated calls & complaints to the higher officials as well, they are just not replacing my handset.

            When I told them to give me the complaint report in writing as to the action taken & the problem with the piece. They say that they can't givbe anything in writing.

            Is this a corporate we are dealing with or just any roadside company who happens to manufacture sub standard garbage in the name of Mobile Handsets.

            If it would be possible I would like to advertise to the masses not ever to purchase any motorola product. The company (I am not sure if we should call it company) just doesnt believe in after sales service.

            PLEASE DONT INVEST IN ANY MOTOROLA PRODUCT EVEN IF IT IS BEING OFFERED IN FREE TO YOU. THEY JUST HARASS.

              i have purchased motorola backflip MB300 on 3th january 2011. within a week of purchase i encountered problem of non responsiveness of call key. for this i showed it to the authorised service centre of motorola i.e fine phone solutions in jaynagar in bangalore. they diagnosed the handset and gave back in two days. but again after 3 days the same problem in encountered.
              i am very upset with this and want to take some legal actions .

                I purchased MB300 Motorola backflip from Planet M express Avenue ,Chennai on december 5th 2010.The set malfunctined on the first day .The store rpelaced and gave me another set after 5 hours of convincing them that it did not work.The second set also malfunctioned within 2 days.It reached a stage where I could not use the phone for basic purpose of calling people.I retrurned the set to 3 COM Technology the authorized service center for Motorola who gave me a slip citing the issues with the mobile.I called Mr Vimal(Android sales division in chennai ,Reddington Sevcies) on 14th Janaury for replacement of the set or refund of cash to which he responded saying that only repair ispossible.This man was supposed to contact me back on 17Th January 2010 which is far away from happening as he is not even bothering to attend the calls.So is his supervisor Mr Jagadeesh (Area Manager).

                The end rsult is total loss of 17000Rs and the emotional torture .I would strongly discourage mobile users to stay far away from Motorola brand and Planet M who are selling defective mobiles..

                  I have brought Motorola Milestone, which a Smarphone developed and announced as the premier product of Motorola, this is the only phone which can give some breath for Motorola in INDIAN market as on today.

                  the phone right from the day one of my purchase it dosent work on the direct sunlight, the Display I can get only when am in a DARK place becouse the phone senser's are not working!!!! it shows the phone is in the market with out even doing the proper and basic check's on the very basic quality of the product.

                  i tried contacting the dealer who sold the phone to me Sangeetha Mobiles and they had no clue on the MOTOROLA SERVICE CENTER!!!!!! called up Motrola customer care number which was there in the webpage, registered the compliant till today no response and finally in my repeated calls the Customer care acknowledged that they are a OUTSOURCED AGENCY and they just take the compliant and nothing more to!!!!!! which means to me is just a EYE WASH.

                  its shows how the company can fool public in India and not bother for any responibility of them, no wonder they have been so badly thrown out of the Indian Market.

                    I am Vivek Mahadev Topale, brought Motorola WX 180 handset from BIG BAZAR, kandivali (E) on 15 Aug 10.
                    Since September 10, the mobile is completly dead. So I visited shop and service center twice(first time they ask me to get fresh bill).
                    Now they are saying mobile is dead because o[censored]nknown reason. they can not repair or replace the handset.
                    I am hereby confirm that mobile was not damaged and nothing is happened to that but still they are not ready to accept my request.

                    Need your intervention in getting my query / complaint solvee.

                      My name is Rajesh. I have submitted my mobile to service center on 27 April 2015, they have took almost 1 month to resole that issue and replaced motherboard and back panel of mobile.and return set on 28 May 2015.but within 20 days i have observed that there is issue with the calling sound quality and i have submitted it again on 27 June 2015.
                      But they are not providing any update about status of the handset. The Motorola service center only explain that they are waiting for parts. But not having any information that, how much time it will take, and ordered again for the same parts(motherboard and back panel).

                      i purchase a motorola mobile(moto e)from flipkart on the date of 8 august 2014.after use of 6 or 7 month mobile is not working properly than i submitted on the b2x service center(motorola service center)-jaipur and i got solution from there.and after 10 days again mobile is not working and again i submitted to b2x jaipur and i got solution.
                      on the 24 june 2015 there are 3 or 4 problem generated once time than on the request of motorola customer care i submitted my device on same service center jaipur(job no.-AMSJAI002129) and they promised to repair on the date of 8 july 2015 but they did not do as promise. and they are replying, parts are not available on the service center and parts deliver by other country.
                      and they are taking more day and not giving any positive response not giving any proper day to repair.only they refuse day to day and everyday.
                      i request him to replace my device if parts are not available they also refuse to do so.only they are taking time and doing nothing.
                      i have lost many things without mobile. i have request only that please replace my device.

                        no returen call no due letter need to be replace complete board replace (hope old/repaired board in new set) after 20 day give time more then 1 week by janak puri Motorola service center.
                        WHY (I Buy Motorola Mobile)
                        Current time Motorola quality and service is very poor. China and local mobile better then Motorola mobile.
                        I am employee in company duty time 4 day round the Delhi dersan.

                          I have purchased Motorola Backflip MB300 and got several jerks since I got it. Twice I had to visit their service centre for reloading of software as earlier was having some bug. Now I am told it is not going to support Hindi. Can one take this excuse when every country strives for its national language. How come a company doing business can sell a product which does not support its native language. Neither any information was communicated along with product manual of this effect. Please help how we can protect the national pride and protect other fellow contrymen being befooled in future.                             i think U can never use the BACKFLIP ie MB300 MOTOROLA mobile phone as a modem.

                            i am also facing the same problem. during discussions with others, i came to realise this fact.

                            also u cannot use the Bluetooth function to transfer files from/to with this MB300 mobile phone.

                            also no one is able to confirm about the possibility o[censored]sing thios phone for VIDEO CALLS.

                            Guys, I disagree with that. I also have the same mobile and the same issue of course !

                            BUT, I am able to transfer files to another phone (Nokia) via Bluetooth ! So, that is possible for sure !

                            I have mb300. Basically this phone has android 1.5. That's where the problem is. Anyone of you please search android market for the application called "USB tether" this will let ur phone act as a modem. Or else follow the below link and upgrade ur moto to unofficial android 2.2 which has inbuilt usb tether... enabling usb tether will let ur phone act as a modem..

                            Moto G screen breakage

                            phone fell from 2 feet and screen broke. I want a replacement or just replace the screen since the touch is working fine.

                              I have sent a complaint both to motorola and flipkart.com and they are not responding well..Copy of the complaint is as follows
                              "I purchased MOTO EX115 from flipkart.com vide invoice # 798386 dated november 10th 2010 . The set was supplied defective , the defect being echo in the microphone. When i contacted flipkart.com they directed me to Khurana Bros. at UG7D Jaina Towers,Janakpuri in New delhi . There one person Mr Sanjeet reluctantly agreed that the set was faulty and needs replacement he asked me to deposit the set there and come after few days to recollect the replacement. I told them that i'v directions from flipkart.com to collect DOA certificate from them and flipkart will give the replacement at home against the DOA given by them. At khurana bros. refused to give DOA and insisted that it is not their policy DOA . I'v contacted flipkart after that and they have not been able to sort out this problem .
                              I'v not been able to use mobile effectively since day 1. i request you to take due notice of inconvenience caused to me , i'v wasted lot of time ,money and effort on this exercise. Hope you will intervene and get the replacement without any more hassles ! "

                                i purchased one mobile set A810 Model from Hot Spot in Faridabad with extended warrantee
                                it has never worked with full battery life the battery life is never more than 4-5 Hours after

                                many time it was sent for the repairs but after one month it is sent back in the same condition
                                as i live in assam so it becomes for me to follow up sontinuously

                                  Mobile Data Not working

                                  Im updated to my MOTO G 1st Gen from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 after that my mobile data is not working, but feedback 5.0.2 lots of issue is there, please resolve my complaints ASAP.

                                    I had to put United States as a country because The Bahamas was not listed.

                                    One time ago I used to feel that Motorola was the best company for electronics in the world. When I was a boy, we had a Motorola b/w television. We used Motorola walkie talkies in our police department and I remember the first cellular phones were also pretty good. I had not personally encountered a Motorola product for years, but I was still singing praises about the ones that I had used. Then I bought a Motorola 93121xybsa cell phone and was totally blindsided. I saw my Mom with a RAZR that she had to put down because it kept on dropping calls. I too began to lose calls and I will say this much, based on the performance of this phone I will more than likely never purchase a Motorola product ever again. You are indeed a far step away from the quality company that I grew up relying on.

                                      I have purchased Motorolla phone of model W200.Suddenly my phone got repaired and restarting automatically
                                      when i walked into the service center named UCOM TECHNOLOGIES in HIMAYATH NAGAR,HYDERABAD
                                      the person said that there is a problem in motherboard and he will be sending to chennai so it will be taking 10-12 days.
                                      He gave the receipt no:4536. When i went to him after 12 days he said that the phone was missing and he gave the other
                                      phone of diffrent model i.e F3. I neglected to take that phone and he asked me to come after two days, and i went to him
                                      after 2 days, he was giving me the old mobile of W200 which was used by some other person and said that the panel is
                                      old but the motherboard is new and i found a lot of scratches in display and moreover the speaker is not working, only
                                      vibration is working.The phone which he gave in that i can find other contact no: and banner name of some other person.
                                      And at the same time he gave the other receipt no:1049 dated 5/12/2007 and asked me to come after 2 days and
                                      mentioned in complaint that there is ringtone problem.And that service person changed my IME no.and entered the
                                      replaced phone IME no. in my phone bill as well as in the new receipt no:1049.
                                      I am the cust of MOTOROLA and i have other two mobiles which was also motorolla L7 and L6.

                                      would like to appeal to the concerned authorities that I bought a motorola razr v8 phone with imi no.[protected] on 30-08-07 at Sangeetha, Greenlands Bill no. 2400.On July 1st I gave my phone to Redding service centre Somajiguda with a request to repair the camera, back door and vibration problem.They said it will take 10 days to get it repaired.I got my phone on July 9th but the problem was not rectified.Again I gave my phone on July 10th --- Work order no.10198 and again I was told it will take 10 days. But till date my phone is in the same condition.The service centre had the phone with them for nearly a month and returned the same without repairing .I then went to an other service center 'sri vinayaka electronics' on 29-08-08 as my problem was not rectified.they took the phone asking me to wait for another 10days.and till date theres no responce from them.
                                      my phone had 1year warrenty and half of the year it was with them.i hardly used it for 6mnths

                                      I bought a new Motorola ZN5 model on 1st jan2009. On march 22nd my mobile had a problem with its software and battery. So, I gave my mobile for a service at “REDINGTON INDIA LIMITED, 16A & B, Wellington Estate, New no 58 Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai-600 105. Tel:[protected]/28207498.

                                      I gave my mobile on 23rdMar2009. But still I didn’t received my mobile from the service centre and the response is very poor. Whenever I called up their number it says busy and to my surprise the receivers are kept down when I went to the service centre last week. Nearly for 20 days I am without my mobile. Everytime they use to tell that, we do not have stock and we need to check with the logistics. I don’t understand why they are testing the customer patience. This is the case for every customer in that particular service centre.

                                      So, kindly look on to this issue and take necessary action immediately.

                                      I had given my Motorola set ( IMIE No: 35644/02/045343/7) for repair on 28 Apr 09 at the authorised Service Center : Redington(India) Limited, Hyderabad. Work order No : 00208

                                      The set had developed a mic problem within 6 months of purchase. The person told me that, the repair cannot be done here locally and hadf to be sent to Chennai. I agreed as I had no option .

                                      Their have been several follow ups by me with the service center and as on date they are even not awre when i would get my mobile repaired. They say it has to come from Chennai and no action has been taken.

                                      Ridiculous service by Mototola and its asociates.

                                      Please look into and help me get my set repaired as soon as possible as it is hampering my work .
                                      I bought motorazr v8 2 months ago and from then only its charging jack is loose.i came to delhi and gave my phone to service centre of khurana brothers in janak puri which is authorised service centre of motorola.they kept my phone for 1 month and then returned it to me by jst changing the battery and problem of charging jack remained.when i complained again then they again kept my phone for 20 days and said that they will send it for repair again..yesterday i went to take my cell back, they said its ok bt still the problem is there.i dont knew what to do so i m complaining here.thank you
                                      I had auto restart problem in Moto E. I submitted my mobile in B2X service centre, Koramangala, Bangalore on May 7th. Still I did not receive my mobile. I contacted customer care service centre more than 10 times from May 13th. They are telling you will get a call within 24-48 hours, but still now I did not receive any call. Also I asked them to connect to head, He disconnected my call suddenly. They do not have manners also. They are selling new mobile, but they are not getting new part. Is it?                                         On[protected] i gave my mobile phone to service center for service. they checked my mobile phone and told its circuit board problem and it comes under the warranty. After 1 week i called in my mobile they told that they gave my mobile phone to the moto care. they told me to call them on[protected]. On that day also they didn't replied me well. on[protected] they called me and told my mobile have water locked and its not come under warranty. they are asking cost for that
