dear sir,
I purchased a H.P LAPTOP ON WHICH THERE WAS A REDEMPTION SCHEME WHICH THE COMPANY WAS GIVING DIRECTLY TO THE COUSTOMERS . IN THIS SCHEME WE HAVE TO SEND THEM THE D.D. OF Rs 3999 AND THEN WHEN THE COMPANY APPROVES YOUR FILE THEN AFTER TWO MONTHS THEY WILL SEND US THE MOBILE.
WHEN I RECEIVED THE MOBILE I WAS SHOCKED SEEING THAT IT WAS A DEFECTIVE PIECE AND THEN I REALISED THAT I AM CHEATED BY THE COMPANY.
THERE ARE SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH THIS MOBILE. THE MOBILE IS NOT DEDECTING THE SIM, PROBLEM IN COLOUR DISPLAY AND THE PHONE IS RINGING VERY SLOWLY WHEN ANYBODY CALLS AT MY NUMBER.
I RECEIVED MY MOBILE AT 5.OO PM AND THE NEXT DAY I TOOK THE MOBILE TO ITS SERVICE CENTER AND THEY ASKED ME FOR THE BILL. I SHOWED THEM ALL MY PAPERS THAT I RECEIVED WITH THAT MOBILE AND THERE WAS A BILL BUT THERE WAS NO DATE NO THAT BILL. THEY WERE NOT READY TO TAKE THE MOBILE BUT WHEN I PROVED THEM THAT THE MOBILE IS UNDER GUARANTEE THEN THEY TOOK MY MOBILE, GAVE ME A RECEIPT OF MY MOBILE AND ASKED ME TO COME AT 4.00 PM ON THE SAME DAY.
AT 4.00 P.M WHEN I CALLED THEM FOR AT LEAST TEN TIMES EVERY TIME THEY PUT MY MOBILE ON HOLD AND WHEN I REACHED THEIR CENTER THEY TOLD ME TO COME TOMORROW. WHEN I WENT TO THEIR OFFICE NEXT DAY THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE ARE THREE - FOUR PROBLEMS IN THE MOBILE ANDI T WILL BE REPLACED.THEN THEY STARTED ASKING ME ABSURED QUESTIONS AND TOLD ME THAT IT IS NECESSARY THAT THERE SHOULD BE DATE ON THE BILL . AS I HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM ALL THE THINGS I ASKED THEM THAT WHAT IS MY FAULT IN THIS. THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ANSWER ME AND TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL DO NOTHING IN THIS MATTER AND WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER TO CONSUMER FORUM THEY STARTED ABUSING ME AND TOLD ME TO DO WHATEVER THAT I CAN DO.
PLEASE TAKE STRICT ACTIONS AGAINST THEM AND HELP TO REPLACE MY MOBILE.

Motorola — Display problem

On the date of 01.08.09 I had gave my mobile (MOTOROLA L9) service
center at janak puri distt. Center due to major Display problem they told
to me come

After one week before go I want to just confirmed by phone but no body no pickup
the phone no.[protected] than I go there they told me you will have to
wait 2 or 3 days

More and after two days I confirmed now they was saying your phone
will be get after 15aug.

I had also mail to motorola customer care but no action taken by them

So i have to face many problem after wait they have repaired my mobile with old display.

    The Motorola service centre in Chennai - REDINGTON INDIA LTD, 16 A&B, Wellington estate, New no 53, Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai - 105 is one of the worst service centre for Motorola.
    I gave the Motorola V9M phone for service to them and for the last 20 days they say that the phone is in Mother board Service Centre.
    They never pick the landline phone in the office and when I went there I found out that they remove the chord of the phone so that no one can call. Everytime I go there there is a big crowd of angry customers asking their phone back.

    Motorola needs to start a new authorized service centre if they want people to still buy their phones!
    yes i fully agree with that i initially went to replace my screen lock they said they will call in four days but its four months now, still no call whenever we call no response from them.i ve a major problem with my phone now but am not ready to go there, can anyone suggest a better store for motorola

      Hi,

      I have bought Motorola L9 10 months ago, and now around 1 month ago, in keypad i lost the Round navigation button of the keypad.

      Then i contacted a Motorola Service Centre in ahmedabad named New Waves, Maninagar and they cherged me 350 Rs to replace the whole keypad.

      Is it really cost that much and its form motorola company itself or not? They told its phydical damage not comes under warranty.

      Can anyone tell me the answer?

        I have purchased a new Motorola L9 on June 2 from Sangeetha on CMH Road, Indiranagar, Banagalore. The next day I took it back to them as the keypad was hanging. I was told that this is a regular fault of Motorola phones and the salesperson reset the phone.

        Again the same problem continued - the keypad hangs and the display shows "Emergency Calls only'.

        I was advised to take it to the authorised service centre - e-Sagar Tech, in Indiranagar for service. They said a new keypad pcb was required and made me wait for ONE MONTH before they received a replacement keypad pcb from motorola.

        Now, with the new pcb, the message changed to 'No Simcard'.

        A peculiar problem, as the phone worked with vodafone sim but not with airtel sim!

        Today it is more than 2 months... I am yet to receive my phone repaired

        I am disgusted with motorola service - I have been sold a defective device as brand new.
        So far, in spite of phone calls and personal visits to the service centre, they have not received replacement keypad pcb.

        What is the use of buying a new phone if I am not able to use it also?

        Kindly help me take this up further in the consumer court.

        Motorola — REG. MOBILE PROBLEM

        I PURHCASED MOTOROKR E6 DURING DECEMBER, 2007. IT IS GIVING VARIOUS PROBLEMS, SOME TIMES IT IS NOT AT ALL FUNCTIONING. WHEN I APPROACHED DEALER HE IS GIVING RESPONSE THAT WHY YOU PURCHASED MOTOROLA MOBILE. IT IS BAD. WHY U CAN'T PURCHASE NOKIA. AFTER THAT WHEN I APPROACHED CUSTOMER CARE OF MOTOROLA SINCE 4 MONTHS THERE IS NO RESPONSE. WITH IN 2 MONTHS THE WARRANTY IS COMPLETING.

        I REQUEST U TO KINDLY HELP ME TO PROCEED LEGALLY.

        i have given my phone motorola w -230 to service center on 25th may
        09.whenever i go there they simply say that my phone is under servicing . i think ther are not doing their work properly because of which i am facing lots of problem

        my motorola razer is not working properly.the problems are under below
        1. sim card is not supporting .
        2. battery bakup 15 minute after full charging.

          I had purchased a Motorola V 220 from a dealer at Fifth Avenue, Brigade Road Bangalore, The dealer runs his store under the name Fono Mobiles at the above mentioned location and also at the address given below.

          5 months after the purchase my phone dint work fine and I had to take it back to him asking for it to be serviced. He gave it back after a week saying it was fine but it dint work after 2 weeks. So 2 weeks later I take it back to him to get it serviced. [ I had a one year guarantee on it]

          This time he took the phone and asked me to get the bill and the box of the phone and pay up Rs.700/= so that he could send the phone back to the Motorola company and ask for a replacement and told me it would take a month.

          Altogether 7 months since the purchase my phone was all but good. And then 3 months later he kept saying the same thing. Just 2 months to go for the guarantee period and I still dint get my phone back .. New or old!

          I got back there only to find he wasn't available whenever I went there and he wouldn't answer my calls no matter how many different numbers I call from.
          Its been 2 years but in vain. I only have the service slip with me because he took the bill saying it was necessary to get a replacement.

          I had to travel all the way from electronic city leaving behind all work [i'm a doctor my schedule is so tight and it was tough without a phone-- despite explaining this he dint even give me a spare phone and nor did he give me the old phone back] I need justice. I need to be compensated for all the loss of time and money and relief in any form that the court decides because of the trouble I have gone through.

          I have never had problems with any of the commodities and besides I had purchased many phones from him but this time he swindled me clear.

          Replacement of the "lost" product by means of a Micromax product - X200 in 2009 following court summons to the defaulter. The defaulter came in person to the billing address and sought an out of court settlement and gave the Micromax product in replacement for the lost Motorola Phone and the agreement was mutual and deemed as resolved.

            My motorola L6i hand set IMEI [protected] with Airtel Prepaid SIM Card No:[protected] bought from Poorvika Mobile World Cellphone shop under bill no 185 dated 29.6.2007 for the amount of Rs4600/-The both Sim card with handset of above mentioned were Lost by me on 02.10.2008.In this regard I had Lodged complaint with Airtel by their registered complaint No[protected] on 02.10.2008.Till today I have nothing heard from Airtel Company.I request Airtel to kindly BLOCK both Handset by it's IMEI number and Airtel Sim card by it's phone number immediately without any further more delay.

A day back my charger found not working so I visited motorola service center (old) at borivali west and understand that motorola service center has been changed to Mira road and no other service center is available with in andheri east and mira road east.When I visited motorola Service center at mira road east the service executive told me that he cannot support the warranty because the invoice copy is not carrying any VAT stamp of the retailer. So he cannot support on warranty and suggested me to get the stamp first and then claim warranty.

                Hi,

                I bought motorola l9, phone is getting over-heated. I submitted phone for repair but after 1 months when I received the phone problem was not solved. I very same day, I submitted it for the second time when I received the phone for the second time problem was not solved. It is still getting over-heated even if I keep it on. To make things worse, warranty period is gonna expire in the 1st week of Aug'09. Now what shall I do ?

                motorola L9 — Warranty voids from vendors end.

                Hello,

                I have been using a Motorola L-9 from past 9 months My Cellphone is still under Warranty. But somthings wrong with the Keypad. Firstly The Joystick is detached secondly Moisture is all over the keypad. I had this problem earlier also within one month of purchasing this phone. Then it was replaced with a new Keypad but now the service centre of my location denies to provide any warranty to this damage.Its Really sad on the part of the Motorola that they promise Waranty of one year and then Falls back from there own commitment.

                    Non cooperation from Motorola service Center


                    This is iqbal hussain from chennai. I had purchased a Motorola Rokr E6. its in my friend Aneesh Name, i have warranty upto this August, there is some board problem in my mobile so i gave my mobile to: REDINGTON INDIA LTD,

                    i have purchased a Motorola motorokr e6 model mobile phone from Nextag, fatehgunj Baroda, Gujarat, India, whose bill detail is as under

                    I have purchased this phone on 11/02/2008 for Rs. 13550/-.

                    Now after few months that is 24/06/2008 it was stolen. I have lodged a complaint to police station, and i want to find my phone on the basis of imei no. which is[protected], but i am not getting any co operation from your side. i have also sent a photocopy of bill and FIR to my service provider i.e. BSNL it helps me to the extent it can. but now i am seeking a help from your side. Because RS.13000/- is not a big amount for a company but for a common man it values a lot. I am very disappointing by the feedback given but your service center in Baroda .

                    This is to bring your kind notice that I am one of your MOTOROLA Fan and all my family members we are using MOTOROLA make Mobile set only. Recently on 26th may 2007 I have invested RS 17595. for purchase of MOTOROLA ROKR E6 model bearing IMEI No. [protected]. For first 6 months I enjoyed by making use of this set but surprisingly after six months this set started giving problem like touch screen is not working properly and not able to charging properly due to charging port (connector pin ) miss-alignment also the battery backup is not good etc.


                    Due to my busy office schedule I could not give this set for repair/service immediately. On 3rd march 2008 I have handed over my Mobile set to one of your authorized service M/s Ucom Technology (P) Ltd, No.215/16, Ground Floor, KNM Complex, 28th cross, 2nd Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore 560010. Since then this set was given for repair two times. Till now the cell is with your service personnel only & the customer service is ready to give warranty for only one month...




                    Now really I am very un- happy because of the following reasons


                    1) Regarding the poor service provided by your Service Personnel


                    2) This mobile set is not a cost worthy instrument because even after repair l m sure that


                    this Model may not give a long and satisfactory service.




                    Being your customer I m requesting your personal intervention kindly provide me a justice by resolving this issue.

                    Disturbance in voice quality

                    Purchased two sets of MotoE last year during Diwali. Now, both are sets, i am facing a disturbacne in the vioce quality.

                      Dear sir I had repaired my cellphone from motorola ASC named MONY COMMUNICATION placed at C-22 RDC GHAZIABAD (U.P).I had paid Rs .496.00.regarding the repair thats software download and cleaning .But after one day it got same problem . I carried my phone ther but they refuse to back my money and told me that the phone will have sent to there head office for further repair and cost Rs[protected] .I told them if the phone not repaired by you why you should not rfund my mony .THEY DENY.

                        i had purchase a mobile motorola E6, after 6 month there is lot of moisture in touch screen, they repair it under warrenty not replaced but after repair six mont of repair display of my mobile off, i went to service station for that they said mother board of my mobile needs to be replacedon payment baises, it will take two months, my mobile battery damaged due to non charge for two months, and my momery card lost due to not getting my phone for two months, after 2 days of repairing/replacement of mother board my mobile is not reading the sim card then i went to service station now they said daughter of my mobile needs replacemnt on payment basis what i do now, i think i had made very big mistake to buying motorola after changing Nokia phone, before motorola i have Nokia phone for the last 5 years there is no such type of problem

                          The centre showed their inabliity to repair the mobile on account of non-aviablibity of Flex Cable Display. They have informed that they had already made the indent with the complany but the part had not been supplied so far although a period of 3 months had lapsed. It is requested the Flex Cable Display may immediately be supplied to M/s Redington India Limited, Kanpur so that my mobile set can be repaired.

                          Further, your toll free no.[protected] is being tried so many times but it has not been materlized for the reasons best known to MOTOROLA.

                            i have purchased a Motorola Handset of model MotoRazr V8 which costs Rs 12, 200 from MObile store, vijaya comlpex, Jetty Road, Alappuzha Kerala - Ph[protected] on 2nd march 2009.the phone was a defective piece.
                            the following were the problems:
                            Blue tooth defective
                            fast discharge of battery
                            low voice erception at the receiver end.
                            there problems were raised at the mobile store the very next day. they refused to replace my phone and directed me to the motorola service centre. i took my phone set to REddington India Ltd, an authorised service centre for motorola phones on 9/3/2009.i had claimed a replacement. they informed me that handset replacement is possible only on the lodging on complaint within a week of purchase. i was on the 7th day of the purchase of the phone, n hence i was not eligible for the replacement.
                            i hereby attach the customer receipt from Reddington services n Mobile store for proof.
                            they retained the phone for 3 months before i could retrieve the phone from the Reddington Services.every time i try to reach their office through their landline it is either busy or not available. i made 3 visits to the centre after confiscating my phone for repair.
                            To my dissapointment i had found on receiving the phone that it has been unscrupulously misused. the memory card which is in-built in the phone had been stored with songs n pictures, somebody had been using my phone as his personal equipment with his personal folders created and a large number of photographs taken.
                            I has lodged a complaint against the service centre to motorola and their response wasnt very satisfying.
                            kindly bring me justice, and have my phone replaced or my money refunded.

                              I have given my mobile for repairing of sidelock problem on 22.04.2009
                              More than 75 days over. Still no response from Redington. I called nearly 50 Times. I agree to pay whatever the amount charged. Simply telling that come and collect on Friday. But When we go there Mobile is not ready. Pls Shall I get my mobile.

                                This phone has very bad software. Very bad battery backup. Frequently hangs. Lot of bugs in this phone software.

                                System update software is not working.
                                This phn has nt a good battery back up...
                                nd sound is also nt good...
                                1st thing i want to ask...

                                motorola/a810 — Bluetooth (bluesoleil)connectivity AND Tools CD not working

                                I have purchased Motorola A810, just two days back and it has started giving headaches right from the beginning.

                                First of all in purchased this handset primarily for connecting to internet (on my laptop) through Bluetooth. When I pair the mobile and Bluetooth (in laptop), the pairing gets done (and the red tick mark appears), then I refresh the services (to get the Bluetooth Dial-Up Networking service and Bluetooth File Transfer Service), BUT these are not available.

                                Second, the CD provided along with the phone (motorola phone tools, v 5) also seems to be for some older models. As it does not connect with my phone.....

                                IS THERE ANY WAY OUT????????????????

                                I too had a bad time with motorola A810.. later changed to samsung corby found it very cool .really a nice phone. ..try it..
                                i got this phone for my girl and i m totally disappointed tat i spent so much and gifted her tis crap, listen to 2 songs and the batteries dead, they have a music player and its of no use, u cant listen to the music even if its on full volume, morever the software supportivity's too bad, It usually hangs up

                                Take my advice and buy a sony product nxt time

                                  I have bought a MOTOROLA W218 mobile handset.On 25th april 2009 submitted my mobile to Vaishali Infotech 18, New MLA Colony, Jawahar Chowk Bhopal.The WORK ORDER NO :MP/MO/09/00149.                                     I had took motorola ZN200 Rs, 6400/- at 14-Feb-2009 in kodambakkam wavetel showroom. But in 2 months its given very bad feed back its key pad is not working properly. In moto service center, they said mobile is under waterloked problem..give other service center to rectify the problem. But mob did'nt fall in water yet.Mobile still with us in "not working" condition..what has to be done...?

                                      I had purchased a Motorola A810 in October 2008. The model is Motorola A810.
                                      The touchscreen of my phone stopped working around 3 months back. When i registered my complaint, the indication sticker in the battery compartment was found red, which they told is due to contact with water. Also they told me there is another such sticker on the mother board and if that is also found red, the warranty does not stand. Fortunately for me, the inside sticker was found white, but even then the staff here is not ready to repair / replace the touch screen due to which i am facing a lot of problems.
                                      On top of that, the service center staff are projecting a cost of 80% of handset value for repair.
                                      Please help me get out of this soup!!!
