I purchased a moto g5 plus on 19th march 2017 & was working fine. Unfortunately my mobile charger became non-working, so i approached the moto service centre east delhi (Cpt-34 strength services pvt ltd, wa-88, 1st floor, shakarpur, east delhi) on 12/7/2017.
They took my charger and also told me that i have to give my phone as well (Although i was carrying my bill), i gave my phone to them, then they also took my sign off for data may be lost category.
I told them, why phone is required & why data will be lost, as problem is only with my charger, so they told me as you have updated the software version by auto update but our system is not reading it, so your phone is required & taking sign off for data lost is a formality.
As i was in little hurry so left my phone to them without any argument.
While in the evening when i visited their centre to collect my phone, they give my phone back my phone & charger and told me that data is lost. I checked charger it was working fine, then i inserted sim & switched on the phone but found that it was not taking network. I again told them, phone is not working so, they checked and told that your phone motherboard is faulty. They need to replace it. It was very shocking as my phone was absolutely working fine & only problem was with the charger.
I checked the imei of my phone, it was different from what i give as per bill, which is a clear indication that someone changed the motherboard knowingly with the faulty motherboard.
Please help me to get the new device, as my phone was perfectly working & why should i take a repaired phone.
Also take strict action against your service centre as they are doing wrong practices.
I am attaching herewith the bill copy & job sheet.
