Hi,
I gave my MOTO G 1ST GENERATION PHONE TO MOTOROLA AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER AT KPHB HYDERABAD, TELANAGANA to replace my MOTO G 1ST GEN LCD screen(BROKE) with new LCD Screen on 10-Dec-2016. I paid 200 rupees as Advance out of 3000 Rupees bill paid through my Credit card. While i hand over my phone to the MOTOROLA SERVICE CENTER EXECUTIVE i showed them clearly my MOTO G 1st Genernation mobile is working fine except the broken LCD screen asked them to not to do Factory reset hence the phone is in working condition only LCD screen needs to be replaced. She also agreed to that and took my phone to replace with NEW LCD screen and asked me to pay 200/- rupees in Advance out of 3000/-. I agreed and paid through my credit card. (ENTIRE CONVERSATION RECORDED IN THEIR CC CAMERAS, PLEASE CHECK)
After a week i got a call from MOTOROLA SERVICE CENTER stating that your mobile was repaired please visit their service centre. I visited on 16-Dec-2016 to collect my phone and i have seen the new LCD screen was not repaired properly and i asked them to look at it and they made me to wait till the service center close at 9:00 PM. After the screen was adjusted i opened my phone and i noticed then and there itself that they have done the FACTORY RESET (Even i have requested to not to do Factory Reset because i may loose all apps which i have downloaded and data). I asked them why did you do FACOTRY RESET they replied we didn't do factory reset. I thought that after going home i can download all apps and i had a backup on my other phone called MOTO G 4 PLUS mobile. After going home i tried adding my Google account in my play store but unfortunaetly i see a pop up "UNFORTUNATELY, GOOGLE PLAY STORE STOPED WORKING" i tried several times and i called Google help desk after going few steps they have confirmed that there is someting wrong with device and they have called Motorola Customer care and explained what went wrong and also same MOTOROLA customer care executive spoke to Service center technician over my phone and replied to motorola customer care people that we will look at the issue. After few hours Motorola service center excecutive replied that we can't do anything. Then i asked motorola service center executive why did you do Factory reset when i asked to not to while handovering my MOTO G 1ST GEN device. They were arguing with me we didn't do it. I gave the phone in working condition they have to give me in that condition. If they failed to do that what is the use of getting my mobile repaired. I asked my mobile to be in working contion othe wise i will go to consumer court. They replied do whatever you want.
Finally i want to approach Consumer court to do Justice to me.
