Hello Moto,
I had purchased a MOTO-G4 plus on 25th May 2016 from Amazon (IMEI No: [protected] / [protected]). Bill No: [protected]. By September my mobile started having charging issue. I called Motorola support for assistance and they asked me to check my phone with nearest Authorised Service Center. So on 9th September I visited New Tech Solution, Vashi. Navi Mumbai. India (+[protected]. They checked my phone and charger and asked me to submit my phone. They gave me an internal work order number 2423. Since then I was not getting any response from this service center and hence I had to log a complaint with Motorola on 29th September 2016 with reference number :[protected]. Motorola called me and said they will update me in 2 days. Later they updated me that the motherboard needs to be changed. Later when I checked with them they said that part had come but their CRM has changed and hence they had to send the part back to Chennai. On 10th Oct, I again called up to check the status and they said they got the motherboard and are working on it, will take time for testing. New CRM number received is SRINE[protected].
I patiently waited till today 17th Oct 2016 and when I called Motorola, I was updated that the phone is ready. When I went to pick my phone at the service center, I was informed that my motherboard and LCD display was replaced. I could also find that my camera was fully scratched. Also my screen guard robbed. My phone was with this service center from 9th Sept till 17th Oct (38 days) and seems they have changed every part. When I asked them about the camera, they are saying it’s not covered under warranty. But my phone had no problem with the camera or LCD when I had submitted the phone. Now they have messed with my phone and I found that the new IMEI no which is on my phone is [protected] / [protected]. I have submitted the phone back to New Tech Solutions and asked them to open the same ticket. They were not ready to do the same. They are saying that camera is not under warranty and mobile is getting charged now, so issue is resolved. They wanted me to close this case.
I want to know from you, why your customer have to suffer for the mishandling done by the unexperienced, inefficient service center guys. I don’t understand why a brand like Motorola have to give their services to a third party vendor like New Tech Solution / Ensure Services who doesn’t have the decency to call up their customer to update them about the status or atleast not rob the customer of the good parts and replace it with second hand parts. I fear this service center is swapping customers genuine parts with others. I urge Motorola to investigate this case and let me know when I can get my phone is good condition?
