I placed an order for corelle bowls and after receiving the package, found out that 6 bowls were broken. I told the delivery person that I don't want to accept the items, but he asked me to file for return/exchange request as the courier service is not responsible for checking whether the packages are broken or not.
I did file for exchange requests and mentioned the reason for it. Now the courier service wants an email from Myntra asking them to take back the broken corelle bowls since the new corelle items have already arrived to be exchanged. Upon contacting Myntra for the said mail, the company has declined the exchange request stating that the items were properly packed upon leaving the warehouse.
So, somewhere between the warehouse and the courier location, the items got damaged and I have to pay for that ?
As a regular customer, I am deeply disappointed in the response that I received from Myntra. I had to pay around rs.5000 for items that was delivered to me in broken condition and refused to be accepted by Myntra.
Myntra.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
