Wrong Item sent and refused replacement.

I ordered a 1 TB 2.5 inch WD Elements SE External Hard disk on 17th October. The item I received was a 3.5 inch hard disk instead.
After calling customer care on the 27th October, they refused a replacement on the grounds that I should have contacted them within 24 hours of delivery. Since it was more than that, they wont replace it.
When I contacted customer care now, they said that I was told on the 27th to send my hard drive...

I bought a Reebok watch from Naaptol. It was delivered after 10days. I received a damaged substandard, cheap, old product (Jan-2010) product.
I really regret that i trusted a fraud company run by some cheat. My order ID: 2685534. I had a similar experience 5 years ago with rediff.com after which i never buy anything from online stores. In india, online shopping is still not matured. It is very difficult go back and ask for replacement....
