National Highways Authority of India [NHAI] Complaints & Reviews

I was traveling from Gurgaon to Saugor (MP) in my private vehicle to report to my duty station on 23 February 2021. Despite showing my Identity Card to the toll operators between Jhansi and Saugor, I was forced to pay the toll charges. I also informed them that I had to undertake travel as I had to report for performing my duties and that it was not a travel undertaken for leisure purpose. However, the staff at toll between Jhansi and Saugor did not pay any cognizance to rules under Indian Toll Act 1901 (Army-Airforce) and insisted on me paying the toll.

At Bollapalli toll plaza Andhra Pradesh, they are accepting only cash payment for recharging local card. While the government is encouraging digital payments for everything, then why is it still mandatory to collect the local card recharges charges only by cash? I request you to take the action against the owner’s of the toll plaza and ask them to allow digital payments.

Mis behave of toll workes mr shubham singh with me and my family at bhadhera toll plaza lunkaransar Rajasthan and toll manager not present at this time and all toll staff start abusing and mis behave with me and ladies.

For the amount we are paying in toll gates, we are not getting the basic toilet facility in some toll gates. Regularly I travel from Chennai to Coimbatore. Especially in ulunthurpettai toll gate, it's a busy place where we don't have basic toilet facilities itself. Kindly check and take necessary action.

Hi.. I was travelling from Chennai to Warangal and my car is equipped with Fastag, I found 3 toll plazas all named with N.A.M Expressway Limited are not accepting Fastag. N.A.M Expressway at Madugulapally, Thummalacheruvu, & Elchuru. the above mentioned 3 toll plazas only allowing cash payments. Date of journey 1st April 2021 and 7th April 2021. Vehicle No : TS03EP5286.

As Fastag is made mandatory and there is also a fine imposed if not equipped with Fastag, where as these all 3 toll plaza's are accepting only cash payments. Is this correct? I request you to consider my complaint and do the needful. Thank you.

Medavakkam to ecr is a free toll route, but i was charged 60 once and 30 the other time. Please help in getting the refund.

Below SMS received on 10-Apr-21 at 12.59 pm at for deduction ..almost after 25 hrs of of crossing the toll plaza!

Quote: "Dear Customer, ICICI Bank FASTag linked vehicle no. MH12FP6470 has been debited with Rs 100.00 on[protected]:52:10 for toll charges with trip number[protected] at Khed-Shivapur Toll Plaza Plaza on[protected]:15:44. Avl. bal. is Rs 5.00. Call [protected] in case of dispute." Unquote.

This happened at Khed-Shivapur Toll plaza near Pune on Pune to Bangalore highway . Passed this toll plaza on 9-Apr-2021 in the morning around 10 am. MH12 vehicles are exmpted for toll on this plaza. My fast tag is kept in my wallet...not affixed on vehicle front glass. It was not scanned also at this plaza on
9-Apr, as I was aware that toll is not to be paid at this plaza.

Then how Rs 100 deducted ??
What is wrongdoing by Toll Plaza people... that without scanning fast tag...amount deducted from my fast tag account.

Pls look into matter and return/credit Rs 100 back to my fast account.

My vehicle no. is RJ20UB2268 which is regeistered in Kota (rajasthan). Kota bypass toll plaza made free for Kota residents. But even after toll of Rs. 65/- was deducted from my fastag on dtd. 03.04.2021 at 15:17:30. This deduction is wrong.

This is to bring to your kind notice that I'd updated my Fast-tag balance on 22 February 2021 using my PhonePe wallet and due to some technical issue the payment was stuck and even today after more than 1 month of complaint my complaint status seemed to be pending while calling on the toll-free number they are now denying to accept the token number generated by the NHAI during the time of complaint registration.
The vehicle number for which I'd made payment was UP84H1920
And the token number is 3228578.

AMOUNT Rs.60 deducted from my account on 7/4/21from kozhinjipatti plaza . I didn't cross that toll on that particular day. But message came as amount deducted. Take necessary action

Extra toll collected and fasttag also deducted.

At komalla tollplaza, warangal-Hyderabad highway, telangana, then taken cash as penality amount even after deducting fasttag amount at toll gate.

This is to inform you that on 04/04/2021 I crossed Madanpur Toll Plaza gate, baihata chariali, kamrup (metro), Assam at 10:28 Am with my vehicle AS01BP2124 (Duster). They deducted Rs. 110.00 from my paytm wallet ( trans. Id-[protected]). I return on the same day at 7:41Pm and again they deducted Rs.60.00 from my wallet ( trans. Id-[protected]). So I request you kindly to take necessary action aginst the said toll plaza for deducting excess amount illegally from my paytm accont .

My name is Akash Isadkar. I am from Osmannagar tahasil Kandhar, district Nanded, Maharashtra. In my village national highway NH50 work is going on at initial stage. There are 125 homes near to this highway construction sites both sides. Approximately 500 people living in this area. I frequently requested to engineer and contractor to spread water over this and nearby area to stop dust pollution. But they are ignoring it. Because of this small children, old age people as well as ladies are coughing. But controtars and respective engineers just ignoring it. I humbly requesting you please take immediate action and spread water on road side construction and over road dumping area. Other wise it will become serious issue for villagers life. Please take this issue seriously and immediately sir.

We have travelled Delhi to Roorkee and Roorkee to Delhi on 03.4.21 but toll Tax charged same both the time Rs 85.
At Sivaya .
Same thing was happen with me on 24.12.20 please look into this matter and refund my excess fee that you have charged.
