Date of incident: 16/02/2021
I traveled from Nashik to Sinnar on 16/02/2021 (Tuesday). At that time, M/s. Nashik Sinnar TollWays Ltd., I paid Rs. 50 / - toll and got the return pass (Ticket No. [protected], Booth&Operator ID: L07/800118).

But, on the way back, there was a huge crowd at the toll booth and some of their staff were sending vehicles to different toll booths, so I took my car to the toll booth they told me about. When I showed the return ticket (Ticket No. [protected]), to the Booth&Operator ID: L 17/800019, they strictly denied and shouted “You have entered the fast tag lane”. So you have to pay Rs. 35 / - again. Your return pass is not valid. They gave me a toll ticket of Rs. 35 / - (Ticket No. [protected]) and made me pay back. So, please kindly look into this matter and return the extra Rs. 35 / - taken from me.

        On 8th Feb, 3:50pm I was passing through KM34.624 in NH16. (Monguli plaza). My fastag was recognised with a wrong vehicle no (as I was told). Therefore I was asked to pay by cash with a double penalty. After the payment I got a sms from bank that amount has been debited. It means I paid three times of the actual amount. Spoke to my bank (ICICI), as understood, they will just refund the amount what has been deducted from my bank. Could you please let me know how to get the refund of penalty which was not my fault?

        Second, it is quite disheartening whilst trying to reach you through phone. Third, spoke to few friends they have same experience, meaning they have been penalised without their fault and they do not know whom to complaint and how to get refund because they don’t know English/Hindi.

        Third, it looks NHAI do not have appropriate policy on such issue or don’t have control in the tollgate. The reason is, for the same trip if one has been charged twice, just wondering how have they accounted?

        Fourth, i will seek such information through RTI, make it public how tollgate is looting the public.

        Fifth, I am sure i will take this issue through legal channel if found a system failure and the policy did not have process to address it which has resulted many and many lost though penalty.

        Sixth, my file size is 3mb, but it does not let me upload- another proof how NHAI is so callous about the public grievance.

        Seventh, in this portal there is no such column I can provide my email or phone no. It means NHAI is least bothered to contact me. It is a oneway communication. Still I provide my email I’d hoping someone may respond at [protected]@gmail.com

          Dear sir,
          It is mandatory to build proper service Roads with footpaths, but here asper rules only they're built now all accupied by local people, my request is, kindly clear the all pootpaths for human use not for shoppers of Road side...

              Sir, I'm resident of wardha. On wardha Nagpur road ( SH 258) there is toll plaza at Haladgaon. There are many lanes but most of the time only 50% lanes are operational due to which there are long questions and waste of time. The heavy vehicles take long time for moving. If the lanes are separate for heavy vehicles and cars it will be nice.

                Hi Team,

                I have been traveling from indore to Bhopal on 17 Feb. As per govt. Orders all toll plaza must have fasttag lane and no cash lane. But when I reach at dewas Bhopal corridor Pvt Ltd toll plaza, they denied fasttag and ask for cash. They have only one fasttag lane and 3 cash lane which is wrong as per govt order.

                Kindly look into this issue ASAP.

                  I was travelling from Nashik to Mumbai on 16th February 2021 around 10 pm. The toll plaza before Kasara Ghat was having a long queue of almost 2 to 3 kms. When we reached the toll boot almost after an hour we came to know that the delay is due to the cars which were not having Fastag we been charged double at the boot which caused the delay. Instead of collecting the toll at the boot they should have taken the vehicles not having Fastag at the side and collect toll from them there instead of collecting the toll at the boot which caused such a long queue and the delay of an hour. My vehicle is having Fastag but still I had to wait for almost an hour so what is the use of my Fastag if I have to wait for an hour. The staff also there was unmannered and were fighting when the issue was discussed with them. If this is the issue we have to face even after having the Fastag than its of no use.

                    Dear Sir,

                    Am observing from last 5 Months the toll plaza near Tirumakudalu Narasipura, Mysore - 571124 was using only one gate for both the sides entry. And it nearly takes 10 to 15 minutes to pass. And there is no difference between Fasttag and case counter.

                    Am a Fasttag user from 1 year

                    If we ask same they will reply very badly by abusing like take walk and go out of this road. (incident happen on 14 Feb 2021 approx. time 6.30 PM).

                    Kindly look into this and request you to take necessary action and request for more toll gates.

                      I was travelling from Nashik to Mumbai on 16th Feb 20121 around 10.00 pm the toll plaza before the Karjat Ghat was having a que of more than 2 km which caused a waiting of an hour because the toll plaza people were charging double for vehicle not having Fastag. If the cars are not having Fastag they can be brought at a side and then double toll should have be collected insides of taking toll at the toll boot only. My car is having Fastag but then too I had to wait for almost an hour so what is the point of that Fastag.

                        Today at around 1:15 PM while I was through my car CG04MR6935 at Dhank Toll Plaza, Pithora, Mahasamund, CG, I entered with the fastag lane as it was advertised everywhere on the highway that from 15th Feb 21 's midnight onwards only fastag is allowed and if someone has not, he will pay double the charge, this was implemented fir easement of traffic, stopping o[censored]nwanted fuel consumption and it will save valuable time. Following the rule I entered there only in fastag lane but due to some technical issue as informed by NHAI staff/Volunteer they advised me to go through Cash lane. This has created wastage of time, wastage of fuel, and failure of commitment, If NHAI has made rule that non fastag cars have to pay double at CASH Counter, then on contrary NHAI fails to follow, the toll will be free. Though, for the time being it could be a matter of rethinking, analysis but I felt a complaint must be lodged at your counter where I was with my car at your instructed lane. But before putting my words where I was supposed to pay CASH as was instructed to go through Cash lane the staff came and even after asking to not deduct online charges rather cash, he without listening any words deducted through online mode. This all mismanagement over there bound me for lodging complaint, it was quite astinishing that there was no any such complaint book, then I asked for their representative to come and resolve the issues, but no one realised that the supervisor, the senior staff must come there and listen the grievances. It was again astonishing that the nest car behind me was allowed to pass without paying a single penny. These all irregularity was very painful and shameful. After wasting of more than 40 minutes my valuable time I was bound to go to other side of the road where your office was located. After strong demand of complaint book I hardly got the complaint book and tried to wrote the gist in the page.
                        This all wasted my valuable one (01) hour approx time and gave me mental stress and harassment.
                        I am expecting speedy action on the matter.

                          At Bhagwada Toll plaza of IRB SURAT DAHISAR LTD When i reached here in only fastag line they said my fastag have insufficient balance. but my fastag was fully recharged with extra balance in my paytm Balance, and my fastag was activated 10-15 minutes before i reached to this toll plaza and also they Checked my fastag id on Nhai official website here it is showing my fastag as active. but then also there scanning machine showing insufficient balance. I had also shown my fastag wallet it was active. but they were not accepting it and at last i had to pay double amount by cash.And they also wasted my 1 hour time. now i want my double amount back and compensation by anybody who is responsible for it. i had done my duty of adding money to fasttag wallet.
                          And I was also crossed this toll yesterday.

                              [protected]@7:00am my truck(6wheel)was crossing the l&t transportation infrastructure ltd, Trichy Cochin Toll Plaza coimbatore
                              While crossing toll plaza they charged me for truck(rs:132) and same day around 3:00pm while returning back with same vehicle and the same toll plaza they charged me for multi axle (rs:198) and when i rasied the question for this they told this our policy so we can do anything
                              In the toll plaza the person or manager is not giving any proper response so i would like to take an action and solve my problem.

                                Sir/ma'am,
                                On 16 February, 2021 our car was passing through NH-7. At Boharipur toll plaza around 4.30 to 5 pm, there was this lady personnel inside the cabin.Her attittude towards us was very unprofessional and unethical right from when we entered the toll.Our fastag didn't scan automatically at the first time. So I suggested her to use the hand machine to scan.But since her face was entirely covered with a shawl and I being considerably young, referred to her 'aunty' in the flow.Again I can truly confer that I talked in utmost decency and diligence with no intention of mocking her. But she abused me right in front and closed the cabin shutting the window in full force and told me to wait for an hour. She abused the enitre family including the females travelling with us .Unfortunately, the management didn't listen to our situation and instead fully blindly supported her. I got really disappointed as even after being a true law abiding citizen, I had to listen to such foul mouthed words of such senseless people.When I tried to take any photos or videos, they used force on me and threatened.That lady kept on abusing us.

                                  I am from rewa Madhya Pradesh. In joginhai toll plaza why maximum amount is debited from fastag account. The charge is 35 rs but everytime 70 rs is debited. Please make clarification regarding this.

                                    I want to draw your kind notice towards the waiting time at toll plaza Chjajarsi NH 9 near Pilkhua. I face problem here due to long time waiting. If NHAI claim for fast service of vastav then why am I facing the waiting problem.
                                    Kindly resolve my problem and take the proper actions against the regarding authority.

                                      The Truck Drivers are Unruly and they Drive in the High Speed Lane at 30 to 40 Kmph. NHAI does nothing across the Nation to Stop these Thugs from misbehaving.
                                      Also, the Toll Booths are manned by Illiterate ### who do nothing to take Care of the Citizens. Cars / Vehicles are asked to Reverse in the Toll Lane - Which is Utterly Stupid. The very intent of Fastag is defeated. If an Offender has entered the Fastag Lane, the Vehicle must be moved forward and detained and not asked to Reverse onto Vehicles waiting in line. Asking Military Jeeps and Heavy Vehicles to Reverse is an absolute Safety Risk. The Personnel manning the Toll Gates are Dumb and Unresponsive. They Aid and Abet Disorder. This is a National Shame. Your Booth Attendant misbehaved at Kamkole on the night of Feb.14, '2021. If this continues, We Tax paying Citizens will have to manhandle the Booth Personnel. We did not educate ourselves to listen to your Clerks and Peons Abuse. As I was driving an Ex-Army Vehicle (Now Registered in My Personal Name with a Valid Fastag with Sufficient Wallet Balance) I did not get down and create a Scene. To maintain the Image and Respect of the Armed Forces. The next time I am in a Regular Car, any misbehaviour by Fastag Clerks and Peons will get a befitting response. Ask the Scumbags to Control their Mouth and Attitude. We are paying you hard earned money and you are not doing us any favour by building the Roads. Your Merge Lanes are Poorly Engineered. Nowhere on Earth a Lane merges into the National Highway on the passenger side of the Vehicle creating an a Blind Spot. You need to build Off Ramps and On Ramps and Merge Lanes with Underpasses in All Intersections.

                                        I am submitting complaint on Kadathanamale Toll plaza, located in rural Bangalore on Doddaballapura road, have increased toll fees by double for fastag customers also. Could you please advise if there are any guidlines to be followed by these toll plazas to increase toll fees.
