National Highways Authority of India [NHAI] Complaints & Reviews

On 13th and 15th December 2020 I have travelled by my car No. MH15EP8054 via Baswant Toll at Pimpalgaon (B) District Nashik.
Being a local resident and vehicle registration from the same district they should have charged only Rs. 40/- . But they have charged Rs. 145/- each time when I cross the toll plaza. I have visited the toll plaza at their office for requesting the refund of Rs. 210. But they have refused to do so. Please help me to refund the excess amount cut from my account.

I have a fastag of IDFC First bank for my car RJ27CE0823. There is balance of more than Rs. 500 in my fastag but I was stopped at Negadiya Toll Plaza in Rajasthan stating that my tag is blacklisted. I called NHAI Fastag and requested them to remove my tag from blacklist but they are saying it tis the mistake of bank and when I called bank, the bank people are saying that the tag is blacklisted is from NHAI side.
I am in great mental depression due to this. Please see to it and resolve my problem and remove my tag from blacklist

Double toll collected on Kini toll naka near satara ( maharashtra) & khed shivapur toll naka thru fastag also saying there is no balance in fastag. Even being Pune citizen i dont need to pay khed shivapur toll so the toll collected thru fastag is not valid. My vehicle ( MH12EM6918) travel on this route on 12th dec & 14th dec 2020. Pl reimburse the excess toll collection ( 75+95+95) in fastag account.

On 31.08.2020, I have been charged double on toll plaza (One from my fasttag and other in cash), toll plaza name is Rohad KM 52+460.

Toll operator said that fasttag is not working so I have to pay toll in cash that also of double amount RS. 120.

I was travelling by mini bus towards Nagpur from chhindwara the toll tax taken by saoner-chhindwara kelwad tollplaza was 230₹ while i was coming back from same toll plaza they have taken 110₹. 110₹ is the right amount as written on their board fro mini bus and lcv. I have the photos of receipt please see into this matter and refund me my money!!

I'm a serving Indian Army Officer and I commute between Durgapur and Panagarh two times daily. In last two years plus I've noticed that the Toll Plaza is mismanaged because of which the commuters have a difficult time. The toll exempted lane is invariably more crowded than the other lanes with all non exempted vehicles blocking the way. Invariably there's an Ambulance with a patient waiting in the long queue which is pathetic. The four wheelers are made to pass through a narrow bylane meant for two wheelers since the exempted lane is full. I spoke to Mr Ranjit Jena( mob no [protected]) who's the Toll Plaza Manager. The contact number of Mr S K Mali(mob no [protected]) is switched off. Today we wasted half an hour in the queue since the vehicles were not allowed as the audit of teh Toll Plaza was On. I'm amazed to find that that even the auditors didn't notice that all non exempted vehicles passed through the exempted lane and the toll was collected. Hoping to find a drastic change in the working ethos of the wonderful organisation of NHAI and strict action be taken against the defaulters.

Today I was traveling From seoni to Jabalpur, I have paid RS 125 ONLY TO DRIVE 3 KM IN TOLL ROAD. I am very unhappy with the behavior of toll person. Kinldy do something otherwise i will file a petition against NHAI

The bridge above- Meelavittan Railyway track, at Thoothukudi Tamil Nadu in NH38 is not constructed for the past 12 years. Why is it such a legacy issue, is this bridge is at Ladak, is it near China border or near the PoK border??

I was with my family in my car . Then i was about to pass this toll . What i found after reaching there is that there is only 1 line for passing as there were no seperate lines for fastag and cash . I asked the concerned authority about it . Then they started misbehaving. And then I started to switchon. The video then the people there said we will snatch your phone and will not give back there were lot of people of toll staff and they started abusing us . Then i asked the manger to give me complain book and I started to write down my complains then the manager wrote down that all line are working which were not . Manager name was kalu singh . If i will remain there for some more time they wuld have beaten us with my elderly parents . Please look after this whole scenario

कल रात 8:45 पर मेरी गाड़ी UP37F7491 छिजारसी (पिलखुवा)यूपी टोल टैक्स से गुजरी टोल कर्मियों ने बताया आपके फास्टैग में पैसे नहीं है जबकि मेरे फास्ट टैग में ₹357 50 पैसे बैलेंस था उसके बावजूद टोल कर्मियों ने ₹125 नगद लिए और उसकी कोई पर्ची मुझको नहीं दी मैंने मोबाइल में चेक किया तो पाया कि मेरे खाते से कोई पैसा नहीं कटा था इसीलिए मैंने उनको ₹125 पे करके टोल पार किया रात 11:04 पर मेरे मोबाइल पर ₹125 ऑनलाइन कटने का मैसेज आया बताइए मैं क्या करूं कृपया मेरी समस्या का समाधान करिए कल रात अगर मैं रात उनको पैसे नहीं देता तो वह मेरे से झगड़ा करने पर उतारू थे मैंने उनको नगद भी पैसे दे दिए और मेरे ऑनलाइन भी पैसे कट गए मेरी समस्या का समाधान करिए मेरा मोबाइल नंबर-[protected], वाहन नंबर-UP37F7491

Dear sir on 13.12.2020 while my driver crossing toll plaza Sonapetya plaza and Jaladhulagori toll plaza both of them collected cash also debited from my fastag account. Please refund my amount.

Dear Sir/Madam,

NHAI Collected 100% Toll Fee in Sriperumbadur, Kanchipuram (Rs.50/-) and Chennasamaduram, Vellore (Rs.45/-) on[protected] and[protected] through FastTag. This is against Court Order issued to collect 50% Toll Fee for two weeks upto[protected] and same published in both Tamil and English Daily News Papers due to poor maintenance of Road.

Kindly, I request you to arrange to refund the toll amount due to poor maintenance.

Sir, this is Kanimozhi.S from Chennai. On 11.12.2020 i travelled from Arni to Chennai via 2 toll plaza (NH 48). The road conditions were very worst which was observed by the Honourable High Court, Madras on several times... But that 2 toll plazas maintain the bad road condition which caused many accidents... And also my vehicle condition damaged because of the uneven roads... But they didnot stop to collect the toll.. hereby i attached the fasttag dedution for my travel which is unfair practise.., since they collected toll fir worst road condition and travel... i request you to take action against that toll plaza and request you to direct them to refund my toll amount with interest...

I want to register a complaint regarding improper sign of cash lane on the toll tax from mahua to Dausa on NH11 as it was not visible and caused double the amount of actual tax. Anyone who is new to this highway would have the same problem as the cash counter is the cornermost and has written fastag only option too which causes great confusion.

I am passing toll plaza nadiad to ahmedabad toll plaza. I told that I have sufficient balance in my fastag account but he refuse my argument & charged 105 rs.cash charged to cross toll plaza. Also 50 rs. debited in my fastag account.

My name is RAM SINGH serving in INDIAN AIR FORCE, today i completed my journey in hired taxi with my family members from Dhola to Bar (Rajasthan) & back.While on ward journey i passed all tolls free with my Defence id, But on back journey Bar toll lane no2 staff not given full respect to me and taken toll of 80/ rupees. Due to shortage of time i did not argue with them. But i want to clear as per govt orders i am authorized for free toll hence i want my toll fee refund with full respect .for your info i attached photo of toll bill

I went to Kaithal today on 13/12/2020 from Hisar and crossed Narwana toll (Haryana )at 12.40 P.M and came back on same day to Hisar and again crossed same Narwana toll at 5.44 P.M while returning back. My account was deducted of rupees 75 each side toll charges. Total amount deducted is rupees 150.. So requested to refund my appropriate amount which is wrongly deducted...

I am from Kota and visited Hanging bridge on[protected]. While crossing the toll i asked the person over there if tax is cut from my fast-tag. He said no. My vehicle is of Kota and as per NHAI rules tax should not be paid by kota vehicles for Hanging bridge. When i came back, i again ask the person if toll has been cut. Again i was informed that toll has not been cut. However after reaching home i saw the email of tax deduction.

Seems like Hanging bridge company are taking tax illegally from all the local people of Kota.

Kindly do the needful. This is illegal and they should at-least inform me about tax (as i asked them particularly) so that i could have created a pass.
