I am surprised to see between chennai to trichy 7 toll plaza's listed but only 3 has cost mentioned on your website but all are collecting charges across. Could you please clarify the same.

Also, i have attached senguruchi and thirumandurai toll receipt both reads ulundurpet to padalur but both collects 45inr which doesn't match your above details in website.

In chennai porur toll plaza, the time taken to pass the gate takes more than 30 minutes. The actual time to travel perungalathur to porur toll plaza is only 20 minutes, but we have to wait least 30 minutes to cross the toll gate even if we have monthly toll fee pass. It is frustrating every day to just waste our time in toll plaza with monthly pass on hand.

Also the toll employees take more time to provide receipt and there is communication problem because of language differences.

Request you to take necessary action to expedite the process.

I am a resident of bangalore & writing this letter to you on the pathetic road condition of existing bangalore mysore national highway 275, the road is full of mini craters, i believe asphalting of this road is not carried out after this four lane highway was commissioned nearly 10-12 years ago.
During weekends the highway resembles any bangalore city road, with vehicles moving at amn average speed of 20kms. It takes to more than 5 hours to drive from mysore to bangalore. Both lanes are patchy with no maintenance, resulting in fatal accidents. Layers of asphalting has scrapped out & motorists try to avoid this craters causing accidents.
Your immediate attention is solicited to re-lay/asphalt this road, as dussera festivities are starting next month & major influx of tourists are expected to mysore.
Further, there is delay in taking-up the proposed 10 laning of this road, as opening of tenders are postponed 4 to 5 times. The work would have started by now.
While appreciating your tremendous commitment in building high quality highways across india.
I request you to instruct the concerned to take-up the maintenance/repair work urgently

1- toll plaza in shazhanpur rajasthan (Nh8) is
Really very ill managed
Team of lazy staff (Low speed)
Consistency in problems-no attitude to improve.

No learnings from other toll
Taking 15 mins on and average
Getting late to office.
Minor accidents are happening also.
Toll gates are well sufficient but management is very poor.

Two month befor there was the same condition in 6 gates & now also same situation with 12 gates. No improvement.

Management & staff speed (Skill) is the only point to see & improve.

We are really fed up even after paying too much on the highway.

2- highway exits & entries are verypoor on nh8 after manesar. Our vehicle reaaly suffers a lot even after so much paying in toll from gurgaon to neemrana - 2 times paying.

In this problem nothing to do, only directions from senior leadership team will be sufficient. Infrastructure is there, only management is worst there.
Pls focus on that.

Road condition between nandura and khamgaon on national highway 6 is very very very tremendous bad. Because of this worst road there are heavy possibilities of accidents which may cause death of people. Please take some strict action as early as possible to improve the condition of this bad road. And do provide little safe environment for people who generally travel on this road.
Its my humble request to you on behalf of all people from this area. Please take some action as soon as possible.

Sir, i sometimes travel by car between jaipur and delhi. There are toll booths encountered at manoharpur, shahjahanpur, & km42 tollways.

The waiting time at these booths are excessive. I have roughly estimated that approximately one hour is wasted at toll booths in completing journey of one side. Moreover, there is frequent jostling and jumping of queues which is unsettling.

The reasons for the delay are perhaps better known to you. As a lay traveller, to me it appears that there are inadequate number of lanes, poor net connectivity which delays online clearance, insufficient staff having hand held devices to cater to lengthy lines during peak hours, poor road maintenance around toll booths which further slows vehicle movement, lack of disincentives or penalties on toll booth operators for delaying movement, and so on.

Nhai has been trying to redeem its name by making better quality roads. Our country boasts of arguably the worst roads in the world. On a recent trip to cambodia i was pleasantly surprised to find good roads, even in the countryside. Cambodia is a country with limited literacy, few colleges, and was having mass genocide until just 20-25 years back.

Maybe nhai could send a study team to cambodia to learn how to operate road systems better.

I'm a commuter from mumbai. Everyone is aware of the traffic issues during peak hours.in order to avoid heavy traffic congestion there is a yellow line at certain distance from the toll tax collection point. However the toll operators are not following the rule for letting commuters go without collecting toll tax. Every evening i pass by the mep operated toll collection point at mulund airoli road. Even if the congestion goes far beyond the yellow line the operators don't all anyone to go without paying toll tax. As per a recent rti report msrdc informed that there are no such directions from state government to follow the yellow line rule. This should be acted upon with utmost priority considering the hassle every commuter goes through on a daily basis.

For your kind attention regarding unbelievably dirty and abusing behavior of toll tax staff of “brijghat at k. M 88.500 on nh-24, uttar pradesh”. Clearly a gunda gardi.

Sir, i am a wheel chair holder passed this toll tax on 18th august 17 at about 4.30 pm, i took a return toll slip and paid money. Next day when i was returning i showed return slip to toll staff, they said it is expired and u have to take fresh slip. I politely told them that how can it expire as time is not over, they told on ur return slip time is printed of 18th aug 10 am. I told them that perhaps some old slip has been handed over to me and on return slip my car number should have been mentioned, so that truth can be determined.

On this they started highly rough language “ abba tara liya gaadi ka number dalaga, paisa da nahi to tara bander bana dangaa, huma kanoon sikhata ha, paisa to tara baap ko bhi dana padaga” and what not.

Ultimatly i was crying and i paid the demanded amount.

Sir, are gunda’s managing such toll plazas, on one hand they cheat both the toll owner & the passing by, on other hand they abuse, use dirty languages and thret for getting slapped. What is it sir.

I am attaching both the slips (18th aug return toll slip & 19th aug reissued slips as evidence) now rest lyies on your kindself.

Recently bridge renovation completed at nh8 at kheda (River - vatrak) between ahmedbad & nadiad.

This old bridge is renovated hardly 5 months back (Cement road) & now entire bridge is having potholes & steel has came out inbetween.

Very bad workmanship executed by contractor & it seems no one is looking at performance for correction of the same.

Pune - bengluru national highway number 4 is one of the busiest highway in maharashtra.in kolhapur district wathar tarf vadgaon a junction of nh 4 and state highway no. 128.in that square there are many street vendor on highway selling there food. That cause traffic jam and accident. We complain lot of time to local authority but any action. Pls do some action

I want to focus your kind attention on nh-02 mathura-agra section, as i was travelling by car from mathura to agra and existing carriageway condition is in worst condition. Toll plaza's are collecting more than rs 250 for the distance of 60 km.
I just want to know that why nhai has not taken action against contractor who is operating and maintaining dlp period? Why this much toll is being charged for such a worst condition road. This locality belongs to tourism as well vip's passes through it. Poor local people have no objection as they know the system "who will listen"
I am also a civil engineer and belongs to madhya pradesh states, your ongoing projects are being monitored in a very systematic manner.
Kindly look in to the matter and take action to facilatate the passengers from india and abroad.

The gst road between palanganatham to pasumalai is being encroached by the road side shoppers. Particularly in pasumalai there are 15 educational institutions functioning and about 5000 students are using this road. But there is no signboards or speed breakers. The dividers is so important to avoid encroachment as well as make public and students to cross the road. Daily at least one accident takes place and fatal accident takes place once in a month. And recently road side shoppers set the vingayar statue. Please remove the temple too.

The 80 feet gst road is now become 30 feet road. For your understanding i have attached few photos.

Please do the needful and prevent the accidents and make easier for public.

I m the resident of jhirbadi village. I am writing this to you to take timely action regarding the street hawkers which have installed their shops and thela over there. At the evening that place become crowded which creates nuisance over there. Even people stands there till 10 pm which makes feel unsafe during evening for girls and women.
Even they are covering both sides of entrance of village. People kept bench provided by govt. For parks over there. Drunk people keep sitting there in evening.
I request you to please take action immediately.

Shashi cables ltd an industry located at a-3, amausi industrial area, kanpur road, lucknow, uttar pradesh 226009 is on nh 25, the highway connecting lucknow-kanpur. There is a green gas limited cng filling station nearby and with the increase in cabs, tempos, autos, buses and private vehicles in the city these come for filling and this causes a huge rush at this place. The guards of the cng petrol pump do not cooperate and they do not provide support, the traffic even flows from wrong direction which may cause avoidable accidents. Due to this, we the employees and workers of shashi cables ltd face problem everyday.
There is an open manhole/ drainage which is wide enough for a four wheeler to fall inside. These problems are being daily faced by common people and is now an emerging issue for the citizens. The concept of smart india and swachh bharat abhiyan is being flattened due to this. This cng filling station is near international airport, due to the chaos and traffic, people face avoidable late arrivals to airport and the tourist also gets distracted due to this chaos. Its our humble request to look into the matter and resolve our problem at earliest.

I regularly travel between bangalore & chennai. One thing i have experienced is that they don't return exact change at toll plaza and always return 1 or 2 rs lesser. I believe this is a very big scam and it has been happening to many people i know as well. I am attaching one such receipt along with this complaint. This is just one instance and has happened at other toll plaza as well. Request you to take action here.

Recharge of Rs. 500 was done on 14 August. The same was deducted from my SBI account immediately. The transaction page on the fasttag login page also showed success for the transaction. But the amount was not credited to the tag.

I traveled on 15th and could not use the money I already paid. What is worse? Using the balance that already existed I traveled one way using the fasttag lane. I called the SBI fasttag helpline several times. But they were of not any help. Therefore, for the return trip that took place on the same day I had travel by paying cash. Therefore, I could not make use of the return fare facility.

Thus by not crediting the money which I already paid, two types of losses have incurred.
1. In spite of buying a tag I could not use the lane.
2. I could not use the return fare facility.

I request you to do the needful to compensate for my losses.

Nh45 Athur toll. Kancheepuram district.
After waiting more than 20 mins our vehicle was stopped and all the staff members shouted and threatened us to pay the toll and we were forced to pay the money.
Staff denied to provide the payment receipt and no formal or ethical value provided for the public.
And it is against the GO regarding 3 mins waiting

Recently i traveled from dungarpur, rajasthan to surat, gujarat and i observed that most part kf the road was totally break. One more thing is that at i travel in day but the people who traveled at night may suffer more! It occurs serious accidents at night!! Pls do needful to public. And many time when "trucks" accident occur on this road it can't be taken any serious action against it and it remains as it is for more day.

Today 10/08/2017 my brother was travelling from gummidipondi to Redhills (tamilnadu) 1km before the tollgate he was brutally beaten by the robbers (two motorcyclist, in one bike 3 person and on other bike 2 person were travelling..
They beaten my brother robbed his gold chain and ring which he was wearing and he too was travelling in a bike.. he was injured very badly.. Am not at all worried about the gold which went but if life gone will they give it back..
When we checked the vehicle in Redhills RTO office it's showing as car instead of bike.. We raised a complaint in police station.. After that we rushed to the tollgate to get the CCTV footage they saying that no CCTV in motorcycle lane..
My question is " is that so a criminal will travel only by car not by an motorcycle..
Next we checked checkpost too they saying power cut so CCTV is not working..
What's happening ? So you people are giving way to criminals..

Dear NHAI officials,

Kindly note that NH-47 in Tamilnadu passing though from Salem to Chengapalli Km 0+00 to Km 100+00 is not properly maintain by the O&M contractor, lots of damages, damaged crash barriers, road signs, milestones, are not yet rectified, also service roads are joined in Main carriageway at many places without any approval from NHAI or concerned authorities, illegal crossing in many places. Illegal joining Service roads to MCW lot places. Also lot of encroachments is encroached so many Govt lands, but the officials are not attending any of these things. They only collecting the Tolls from the Vehicles. At least 15 days ones they visit the entire road, then only they can come to know the status of road.
