Fastag lane was useless at Wallajahpet till plaza just before Vellore coming from Chennai. All vehicles without tag were allowed no monitoring. Even vehicles with return tickets were using the lane. The toll plaza manager is completely indifferent to complaints. There should be restrictions to allow only vehicles with tag to enter. This is always the case with both Wallajahpet and the Sriperumbudur toll plaza in both directions. Bangalore to Chennai or Chennai to Bangalore

The national highway (66/77) from Krishnagiri to Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu is in a very bad condition for almost 5 years now. It has been dug up every few feet and has deep pits on the road and has become a nightmare to travel on this road. It is basically unmotorable and many accidents take place. During the monsoons it is just no road for cars and smaller vehicles. I hope the NHAI will take up the repairs and make the road motorable at least.

      Sir,
I am a serving Officer in the Indian army. Yesterday while travelling from Lucknow to Kanpur I was asked to pay toll tax despite showing my Identity Card. The operators showed a copy of petition submitted in the Punjab Armed Forces Tribunal as the authority for collection of toll tax from serving defence personel. You are requested to kindly clarify the matter as to my knowledge the Honourable Supreme Court has already passed an order in the matter upholding the exemption of Armed Forces Personel from paying toll tax while travelling anywhere in India in Official or private personal vehicle. You are also requested to forward a copy of relevent order to this affect from NHAI SO THAT I CAN AVOID BEING EMBARESSED IN FUTURE.

No other toll booth is asking toll to serving defense person except Nawabganj toll at Kanpur-lucknow highway. There is another rulling for them? Plz clarify. Is there exemption of toll of defense person in private car or any vehicle or not? According to my knowledge exemption is there. So please correct me or your employees. They are misbehaving too, please educate them we are defence personal, show some respect, thank you

Its been several years i have been driving this stretch till bengalore, never have i seen the nh4 between dharwad to davangere in good shape. Its most unsafe highway i have ever seen in my life despite paying heavy tolls. The road is totally melted away and every now and then there are very speed breakers, which supreme court has asked nhai to remove, but here i find in every 5km a big speed breaker which has cause accidents for so many highway users. Its been many year and there seems to be no improvement. After so many deaths on highways still nobody is concerned, after all we as a consumer are paying tolls for our own death?

I travelled between Gondal Rajkot NH27 on 09.04.2017 night.
I got correct receipt at toll plaza pithadiya receipt no. [protected] at 8.51 pm for my car no. 5270.It was clearly mentioned the authority as NHAI, west gujarat expressway ltd...etc
further when i reached the next tpll plaza, near village PIPALIYA, i was recovered Rs. 35.00 at 21.29 . It was printed MC:00001849 BL_NO.00008934 CLERK:1
No any authority name is printed on receipt
I am sure the receipt which I got at toll plaza, near village Pipaliya is all the way a bogus & duplicate leading to corruption.I have submitted the copies of above mentioned receipts.
This type of corruption might be continued to unlimited period for other vehicles also. please inquire the matter and take prompt actions in the matter. I would insist to inform me the actions taken

I stay in gujarat. I have observed several times that truck drives adamantly use first lane at around the slow speed of 50km/ hour. We, the small car drivers, have to use third lane to overtake. These overtakings are risking the life o[censored]s as well as of slow vehicle passengers viz. Rickshaws and bikers. There is a waste of time and risk of life too.
Kindly fine these truck drivrs and do the needful.

                      Sir/Mam

Wanted to bring your attention to the flyover construction activity being done at Sec- 16 Gurgaon, MG ROAD, Bata Chowk.

The main road on the construction site is damaged too much and due to watering activity being done on pillars, so much water gathers on the road and it becomes difficult to cross it. Jam piles up and a lot of scooterists fall inside the dirty water.

Need your attention to smooth up the activity.

Here I wanted to strongly object to the safety standard, followed national high way authority .There is a stretch of 20 KM of NH42 connecting Bhusan steel to Angul (Odisha)is very dangerous to the public safety .There is Avg one accident per day happening due heavy vehicle .The no of vehicle is directly proportional to the no of accident .My dad is a victim of this monster .He lost his right leg in an accident .Please consider my request and recommend an inquiry in to this matter as soon as possible .

We have been using Fastag for last couple of months. We travel frequently on Pune-Bengaluru, Bengaluru-Mangalore, and Bengaluru-Mysuru routes. The design of the system at the toll gates for Fastag carrying people seems to be quite good - i.e. a separate lane, with an automatic barrier to detect Fastag and then a slip lane in case mistake is made. This is all designed to make easy passage for Fastag vehicles, and perhaps encourage use of Fastag.

However, the actual implementation, especially at night (because that's the time we travel more often), leaves a lot to be desired. And in fact it almost penalizes people who have Fastags as compared to Cash paying people. This is due to the following reasons:

1- The Fastag lane is normally blocked, and there's a person sitting there, who opens it when we convince him that we have a Fastag. Many times, despite us telling him that we have a Fastag, he asks us to take the Cash lane, and when we get to the Cash counter and tell them that we have a Fastag, they get very upset and that leads to lot of argument. In fact in one instance, they literally forced us to pay cash. Even if they have a hand held machine, they seem very reluctant to bring it. Such incidents seem to happen more often between Sira and Bengaluru.
2- Many times the Fastag lane is full of vehicles, usually trucks and buses, and is moving very slow, and the cash counters are moving quite fast. In such cases, when we get to the counter and tell them that we have Fastag, they have to then go and get the hand held machine to scan. This indicates that the vehicles ahead o[censored]s did not have Fastag, but were still allowed in the Fastag lane.
3- In very few tolls there's an automatic scanner in place. And in none of them there's a scanner at the beginning of the lane to screen vehicles without Fastag, and is always done by a person, who makes a mistake, as mentioned in point 1.

Overall, we get a feeling that if we pay cash, we have option of a number of lanes, and if we have Fastag, we have only 1 lane and that too with lot of hassles.

Few weeks back, I had written to your Mumbai regional office on the email address provided in your Contacts section, but there was no response from there. Hopefully this complaint here would lead to some action.

It had been almost a month since we have bought a fast tag but not even single we have been able to use it .
Every day the people at toll both have closed the lane and when asked about it they would say it is under work .
It had been a pathetic experience.
I travel daily from Delhi to faridabad and cross badarpur toll .
I have to wait in queue inspite of having a fast tag and toll card.
Dear sir/ madam nhai toll plaza jojro ka khera taken unauthorised receipt of payment from truck owner/truck driver as well as they have no proper response to local organisations. Thanks & Regards jayant Choudhary satyanam roadlines pvt ltd udaipur [protected].
                                Dear Sir,
I had traveled by my own car from Guwahati to Jorhat today and found that the National Highway 37 is not at all worthy of travelling by car/any kind of vehicle from Numaligarh to Jorhat Town having PIN 785001. In fact it is dengenrous to life of people in the vehicle. Is it that NHAI is planning to reduced the population of North Eartern India, so that there would be no more insurgency in this reagion? How can the Government Department be so blind to the safety of it’s people while claiming to be working for the citizens. If the Government didn’t have money to repair the same, please notify that the way in which anyone is travelling may be dangerous to their life like the the travel advisories issued by USA to its citizens against travelling to Sri Lanka. If India is boasting that she is on the course of becoming one of the biggest economies of the world, just compare with Hong Kong etc to find out your claim. We are 100 years behind with them.
NHAI Authority should be held fully responsible for any short of mishap to life and property of any person travelling by car/ vehicle in the stretch from Numaligarh and beyond in NH 37, which in under conversation to 4 lane. This is the life line of people of Assam and beyond of the North East India, which is in such pathetic conditions that who ever is responsible for it should be behind bar and given no salary etc.
                                Thanks and regards,
A citizen of the region, who had traveled today.

Our beloved Prime Minister wants to make a Digital India. I thought it was going good until recently at samakhyali NH toll gate (Gujarat) they forced us to make cash payment and rejected e-payment. There was a paytm sticker on the toll plaza so they should accept paytm payment. Also Our PM had announced that paytm payments will be accepted across all toll plazas in India. Our PM's of making a Digital India is shattered by such people. It's also quite possible they are corrupted and taking away all the money for themselves. Please take actions against such people. They even said "jo karna hai kar lo, hum to cash hi lenge".

As per NHAI (National Highway Authority Of India) the distance between two Toll is 60 Kms...But today while traveling from MANGALORE to UDUPI came to know that Toll distance is only 11 Kms. one is at NITK Surathkal and another is at Mulki Is that new rules only here... Or the company people enjoying the public money... So kindly look into the matter and do the needful. Because of this bus price have been increase drastically.
