My father, radhey shyam gupta, is covered under national mediclaim policy with national insurance company ltd and family health plan (Tpa) ltd - kolkata. My father was admitted in fortis hospital & kidney institute (Rashbehari, kolkata) on 16th august, 2017 for kidney stone operation and was discharged on 20th august, 2017. As cashless facility was denied by the hospital so we submitted all the relevant documents for claim reimbursement to fhpl through agent on 1st september, 2017. The claim amount submitted for pre-hosp and hospitalisation was rs.1, 65, 315. It has been almost 3 months and we have still not received the claim money, neither have we been informed about the settled amount. We made so many complaints in fhpl but they just don't care to respond. They are unable to give any justification for delay. After constantly complaining my father received just one sms on 16th november, 2017 which states -
"dear sir/madam, your claim reimbursement for claim ref. Id 1621322 has been processed and amount will be credited to your bank account shortly."
After this again there is no response.
Now, as per policy we are supposed to be reimbursed the claim money within 30 days of document submission. The complete policy statement as per nicl :-
"on receipt of the final document (S) or investigation report (If any), as the case may be, the company shall within a period of 30 days offer a settlement of the claim to the insured person.
Upon acceptance of an offer of settlement as stated above by the insured person, the payment of the amount due shall be made within 7 days from the date of acceptance of the offer by the company.
In the cases of delay in the payment, the company shall pay interest at a rate which is 2% above the bank rate prevalent at the beginning of the financial year in which the claim is reviewed."
As per policy and the given delay situation, it is expected to provide as soon as possible not only the claimed amount but also the interest amount.
Also i submitted post hospitalization documents in 3rd week of october, 2017. There is no response about the post hospitalization claim money as well.
I am not getting any valid response from fhpl/nicl. I want to get my money back asap (Pre-hosp, hosp, and post hospitalisation money).

I am an employee of bandhan bank limited, and I sent my all original hospital copy to meddiassist office, but I received a mail before few days that I have to resubmit again my original discharge summary details and self declaration copy..., how can I get this original copy from hospital???
