As per provision the company should refund my security amount after I leave the shared accommodation.

I rented out Nestaway in January 2021. It has been more than 3 months and I have not yet received my security deposit of ₹14, 000.

Below are the house details:

Society- Shanders Springdale

I have tried multiple times following up with the property manager but he rarely responds to my queries.

It is my hard-earned money and I want the security deposit back as I am facing a cash crunch in time of the pandemic. Please take this matter seriously.

    It is now almost six months I vacated the house in Oct 2020 taken from nestaway and have not received the security deposit amount of Rs 39000. All the dashboard have been blocked.My house id was 128983 in bangalore.

      Hi,

      I moved out of a nest away flat on 31st March 2021 after successfully completing move-out formalities which includes handing over of the keys and house inspection. The flat was eligible for instant deposit refund. I have not yet received any refund, it has been more than a month.

      I have raised a ticket to which no one responds.

      I have called customer care, tweeted, written a plays tore review but every time I get the standard response that they will look into it and that the refund is being processed at the owner level where as the owner has already processed it.

      There is no way to follow up as my dashboard has also been cleared. I have been communicated the final refund amount- Rs12200, there has been no form of communication from Nesta way's end on this delay except that I have gotten around one message stating that the house inspection has been rescheduled.

      Please refund my money.

      I have received Rs.3166.57 through NEFT from Nest away on 19th May 2021 as a refund but as per the settlement report I am supposed to get Rs. 4333.33 as attached. Please refund the rest of the amount at the earliest.

        Its been a year writing mails to the concern but no revert no action when all dues are clear in time, move out charges late payment charges are added every month now resulting into rs.29000/-

                I have not received the refund of security deposit after one month of moving out from nestaway. I have raised a ticket as well but no response. I don't know why these people don't want to return their tenants money. I have received an email for no dues. Received email for Instant refund for security deposit but still didn't receive the money.

                The latest request raised is CC_08515330. Not sure If I will get help here. you have to wasted a lot of time and energy to get your own many back. Not worth of a single star.

                I have raised one more request CC_08518143.

                How much late fine will Nestaway pay for not returning the money back in time.

                  I vacated Nestaway property on 2nd April and after their inspection they are supposed to refund the deposit. It’s been a month and there has been no response to any of my calls and requests raised with their customer care. I also did send them mail regarding the same but still no response.kindly help me getting my deposit refunded.

                    As we know the height of covid situation is very critical in delhi/NCR.
                    I live here very safely, meanwhile, nest away onboarded a person only prior to 1-hour intimation.
                    As per safety protocol onboarding, tenants should show their medical covid report.
                    But instead of following the protocol, the area manager behaving rudely and inappropriate behavior with existing tenants.
                    I would like to add one more point here, there is a privacy issue here, initially nest away guys can come inside the property with any intimation, they have property keys and enters in property which is unethical.

                      Cheating by nestaway-1. I am planning to move out of a nestaway home by May end. I have given notice a month prior to it. But it seems like they have changed their move out notice period from 30-45 during pandemic time. This was not informed to me and also it is not mentioned in my rental agreement. I am trying to contact them since 3 days regarding the same but all I'm getting is 24-48 hours time limit to get my query resolved. They are deducting an amount of 11700 for that period.
                      Also to you information, even if I would have tried to do that 45 day notice period thing, I was not able to because their team didn't close my move-in since 576 days. On my request and complaint they closed it 3 days back itself.
                      I have even wrote a mail to them on their request, but no information. I wrote on twitter bit still I got a useless response. So I'm feeling that they will not return my hard earned money and specially during this pandemic situation. In case if this happens I want a legal action against the company as I am reading many complaints where people have been cheated. I request to look into the matter at the earliest as I consider this as real cheating and looting done by nestaway

                        Since was raised the complaint on nestaway application and waiting for the call from the past 5 days every single day escalating the issue but no respond, my move in proces is pending with them as taken internal transfer only needs to update in this month but they reschedule my move in to the next month for the rent generation as wanted to move out in this particular month, having a pathetic services neva gone recommend this app before this issue also faced many challenges but still nthng happens with this, the area managers who all are alligned to help there nesties they never respond to the calls as well msgs.M not going to pay my next month rent this is really bad and pathetic customer support services

                            I vacated a Nestaway 1-bhk property, 203, SLV Nivas, Satya Sai Layout, Whitefield Bangalore-560066 on 25th Feb, 2020. As per policy, I should be getting my deposit amount refunded within the next 14 days or till the owner sends this deposit amount back to the company and the company pays me back.

                            It would be relevant to bring to note that before vacating, I have been charged additional amounts as whitewashing charges and multiple utility bills without any detail or break up of the charges. I paid these extra charges amounting to 9000 apart from the regular monthly rent of 12500 for the last month. Still, while vacating numerous other charges were included in the name of cleaning and whitewashing repair maintenance etc.. No details were furnished on break-up of these.additional charges.

                            It's been over 2 months now and after multiple follow ups over calls and mails, I still haven't got my security deposit refunded.

                            Please find attached screenshot of my email follow up with Nestaway team containing all details of my concerns and also the discrepant bills. There hasn't been any response on that as well. This is my hard earned money and I really need it at this challenging time. Please do the needful to get me over this trouble and harrassed feeling of getting cheated.

                            As stated above, I checked with the owner of the property who confirmed that they have refunded the amount and it is with the company now. However, there is no action from company's end to return the amount back to me. I have paid a total of 34, 671 INR to Nestaway as security deposit before moving in on 25th May, 2020

                                It has been a couple of months since we have vacated the flat, yet we are waiting for our Security Deposit Refund. Our Move Out date was 26/02/2021. We’re trying to reach out to nestaway over the phone several times and earlier as well but no luck. Even tried calling the Area Manager(Nestaway), but even he is not responding to calls or messages. Can you guys please look into it

                                  Just again today morning when I was checking my Nestaway dashboard for utilities as Electricity Bill account ID to see how much amount is pending on BESCOM website from last tenant. I saw that Rs. 1726 is pending and when I called helpdesk they are you pay that amount, why I have to pay that its Nestaway job to clear pending money of BESCOM before new tenant moved-in .

                                  Also why I am raising this complain as I see another illegal activity from Nestaway When I clicked "Utility Expenses" tab on dashboard and it shows Rs 488 is pending and the shocking part is that the due date is mentioned as " 08 Nov 2019" that has same has same account ID of current flat. I dont understand why Nestaway cheats with their customers . I am attaching the screenshots of this illegal activity and Nestaway should justification for this wrong doing.

                                  it shows as paid but how come for Nov-2019 as this is connected to House Id : 33825 and I was not staying in that flat in year 2019. it is a wrong info displayed on my screen and it has bill receipt also not sure how it is possible.

                                      I have moved into new flat yesterday taking internal transfer . Today morning I have seen that Rs. 15000 been added to my dashboard as painting charges . Customer care is saying it if for my old flat 106, but even for my new flat 207 I have not seen any painting done . so if last tenant of 207 have not paid the painting charges why I have to pay the amount. I have been staying in same apartment from last 3 years and I have not seen any painting done. Even for my last flat it was given me as is not painted and not cleaned properly. It was cleaned by my apartment security gaurd and even new one he only cleaned . So why Nestaway is taking 7k on-boarding charges and why this painitng chatrges as its never been painted . This is illegal activity from Nestaway as 15k for painitng that they never do and take that money with them.

                                      I have raised multiple service request regarding same but Nestaway keep on closing each one of them. Even I have seen some comment on this platform that they used to hire some goons who raise voice against them, this is really shocking to see if we raise concern on wrong doing from NestAway.

                                      Now they have added one more charge as Cleaning that as Rs. 2000? wow, for my new flat it was cleaned by apartment security guard at Rs 500 only ..so Rs 1, 500 will stay with Nestaway right not as how owner will know how much it was actually charged for cleaning.
