No humanitarian consideration even after letting them know I need my hard-earned security deposit money to support my medical expenses. But still no response over email, service request, calls, no point of contact.
I am the tenant and my last stay date is 27th March 2021 (Property Id N48635)
My Security deposit paid to nestaway is 202800 and the deductions shown is 28522 from this amount in the nestaway dashboard
Balance is 1.74lakhs as per the dashboard for refund. Owner is offboarding the property as well.
But I don't have any assurance that I will get my larger security amount which is with nestaway and the timelines for receiving the same. As there is no nestaway ownership on this case?

What fault did I do that I literally need to beg and fight the system for my security deposit to stay alive?

Any help please?

    Hello,
    My roommate and I vacated a flat from Nestaway on 1st December. We got a clear sheet from the owner as well. The owner agreed to all the deposit excluding painting charges to be given back to us. But Nestaway deducted 30, 000 rs.
    They aren't replying to any emails.
    They didn't even generate any ID or confirmation for the entire transaction.
    NestAway Technologies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      I have vacated the property Radical 9 Apartments in Baner Pune in the month of nov 2020. It’s been more than 4 months and I have no way to contact them. I tried speaking to customer care and they denied any help on this. They asked me to create a service request and the request was closed without any intimation on action being taken. Please assist

        I moved out of Nestaway 3 months back till now didn't received my security deposit and raised many service requests and mailed so many times no reply to date.

        nestaway.com is fraud and now they are harassing me. Please take action again them.

          Property Number N53144. The tenants moved out of my apartment Oct 30th 2020. It has been more than 4 months and I have not received the keys back. I have sent countless number of emails and there is no response. Now I am unable to even call the customer care number +91 [protected]. It tells me to call from a registered phone number and I don't know what that means. This is ridiculous. I have lost 4 months of rent and now I am not sure if I will get my apartment keys back

            As a flat owner in Mumbai, I wanted to ensure that my flat is in safe hands which shaped my decision to avail the services provided by Nestaway, but unfortunately this company proved this wrong. They have manipulated the words and phrases in the agreement to convey something that is the exact opposite of what they actually mean. Note that it is only when the agreement is to be closed do they "explain" what they have written. On following up with them due to the misunderstandings, our calls and emails go unanswered; this behavior of theirs clearly hints at a malpractice done from their side. There was no clear explanation from the team at the time of signing. For instance, they have used words like "former" but have nowhere mentioned which part are they particularly referring to. This lead to further confusion in terms of the security deposit provided.
            At the time of signing they were to provide us (the flat owners) with Rs.1, 32, 000 which they did. Nevertheless, they assured us with a written clause in the agreement that states that we are supposed to get the amount that is incurred from the recovery cost (i.e cleaning, damage after the tenants leave the flat). For which they needed us to send them proper receipts of the costs incurred (via email) which we did. But the company now refuses to pay that amount and raises a dispute going against the agreement. And hence, I request quick action on the same. Looking forward.

              I tried to do the payment of 53400 to nestaway but it didn't approve
              I tried again and it didn't approve again so
              Money got deducted twice
              Please check into this issue as it is a big issue

                My House ID is 125082
                I have stayed in Nestaway property past one year and I have moved out on Feb 1st 2021. The House which I stayed is my Friends House who have given that to Nestaway for maintaining. I have vacated and Handed over the keys to them on January 26th and Settlement report approved by me and owner on Feb 22nd 2021. The Owner has refunded my security deposit to Nestaway on Feb 23rd 2021 and confirmed me through Email.But Nestaway dashboard not updated and still it shows refund pending from owner and not refunding the amount to myself. I have an Medical emergency requirement which is why owner has helped me transfer the security deposit much earlier to Nestaway. Please step into the Issue and help me to get my refund of Security Deposit of Rs.31, 500/- Already Three requests raised with Nestaway for the same. But No Responses from Them. Even Chennai Nestaway Team has sent Multiple Remainde but they also not received any response

                  I am Rajat Kumar Verma, have moved out of nestaway home in August 2020. Till date I have not received my security deposit as a refund. Have raised multiple requests and called multiple times to area manager and customer service but no any response from any side. No one visited there for inspection in August complete month, neither they called. But called later after three months for inspection. Everything things were fine, nothing was destroyed. I moved out from there how I got at that time. Have taken the snapshot too. They are telling that 14000 charges will be applicable but if I claim then there should not be any charges. Security deposit amount was 27000 and only one month painting charge is one month rent i.e. 9000. In return I should get 18000 rs in return.

                  Unable to attach pictures, they are larger in size. Attached 1for example. If required more, then let me know.

                    Please go through the attached images. It's been a year and still I haven't received my refund. I'll wait 3 days from the day i have filed this complaint. If I don't get a response, next stop will be consumer court.

                      I was asked to vacate the property with 24 hours notice and I did since the owner deboarded the house from Nestaway. The refund process took more than a month to be approved.
                      They finally approved the refund and deducted unjust amount for some cleaning service which never happened. Now the refund is still showing as processing even after 2 months.

                          I vacated the property & inspection was done on 30th January. I was told that my deposit would be returned within 7-10 days.

                          It has been more than a month but I haven't got my deposit back.

                          The people who were marked in the email, doesn't respond back. The Initial point of contact "Harish" doesn't respond to WhatsApp messages.

                          I am not sure how long I have to wait.

                          I want my deposit to be returned immediately.

                            As if covid and the job market were less of a trouble, and finally when every thing started getting normal I'm getting looted by NestAway Technologies Pvt Ltd for approximately 50k for 1 month rent of a 7.5k worth paying guest

                            so here's the story :

                            I booked my nestaway on 14th or 15th feb 2021 and my move in was scheduled on 18, and I was charged around 3000 rs as half month's rent apart from 19000 safety deposit and move in charges, which I paid but i was not allowed to move in the flat till last day of feb

                            so my first question .

                            1) On what basis I was charged 3000 rs mentioned February rent when I was not even allowed to move in ?( whatever maybe the reason why should a customer pay for your process delays ?)

                            And this is just the start of the problems .

                            On 23 Feb 2021 my dashboard from no-where updates a due of 23000 . after contacting the agent regarding this, the agent says, you'll have to pay them as his manager says this are charges from last year's stay which were pending from my account .

                            Here's the twist
                            I have proof of my security deposit getting partly returned from previous year's (2020) stay and a proof of nestaway quoting that my and nestaway account in terms of stay and finance was closed and which is the reason I'm only partly getting security deposit back .
                            ( Basically nestaway itself agreeing 1 year back that all our transactions are clear )

                            since this issue I've been raising issues, escalitig them, contacting the agent but just keep procrastinating it like it's no big deal for them, and again updating 7.5k as next month's due rent which if I dont pay they'll fine me day by day according to the policy .

                              After my previous tenant vacated on Jan 30th, Nestaway team is not responding. Then I have offboarded my house id N59736 in Bangalore using website but no one is responding again to fix the leakage/painting issues in the house. Security deposit is with them and they did not hand over keys. The person collected key from tenant and property manager is not even picking up the phone so far.

                              No one responded yet and keys and security deposits are still with Nestaway.

                                I have moved to nestaway on Dec 20th and while moving they assured one more girl is gonna move in there along with me as there was nobody else staying at house. The house was whole dirty when i visited before my move in and they assured everything will be cleaned. But it was same when I moved and the other girl requested for deep cleaning and also for repairing her toilet flush but she didn't stay seeing home condition and moved out. I requested them to repair the fridge, unblock the sink and to repair toilet flush of mine which was non working. They came to repair the fridge exactly after a month and did some cleaning for name sake.
                                I continually requested them to unblock the sink as I was not able to use kitchen so was having food from outside. I tried to contact multiple times when foul smell started coming out of sink and it was whole covered with insects and worms. Finally I had to call a man from outside and they charged around 1000rs from me for that.
                                And now the nestaway people had added some bill to my account saying that it's for repairing the fridge, repairing toilets flush of a different room and deep cleaning and few more things which I even don't know when they repaired. My toilet flush is not working from the time I came here and they are not even ready to repair it. It's me alone living here and now all bills which IAM not responsible for has came on my shoulders.
                                Why should I pay for things which I am not responsible for and now they are telling me to pay the whole bill. Now it's like I came here to pay for repairing nestaway things. The amount they are asking me to pay is around Rs.2800 and also I paid 1000 to get that sink unblocked.
                                Now I have decided to move out of this house as I can't bear anything more like this kind of rubbish acts from them.
                                They are gonna get the whole amount from my security deposit.

                                    Hi,

                                    I moved out of a nestaway flat on 21st January 2021 after successfully completing move-out formalities which includes handing over of the keys and house inspection. The flat was eligible for instant deposit refund. I have not yet received any refund, it has been more than a month.

                                    I have raised a ticket to which no one responds.

                                    I have called customer care, tweeted, written a playstore review but every time I get the standard response that they will look into it and that the refund is being processed at the owner level where as the owner has already processed it.

                                    There is no way to follow up as my dashboard has also been cleared. I have not been communicated the final refund amount, there has been no form of communication from Nestaway's end on this delay except that I have gotten around 6-8 messages stating that the house inspection has been rescheduled.

                                    Now a days I get a message from nestaway everyday that the house inspection has been rescheduled. Not only has my money not been returned, now I get these messages everyday unnecessarily even after having completed that stage so many days ago.

                                      I have vacated my nestaway house (House id: 12462) in the month of January on 30th. I am able to see some unnecessary amount has been added in the settlement report generated and also in the dashboard I am able to see move out charges has been applied multiple number of times and showing that I need to pay them again of no reason. My security deposit amount which they were suppose to return is still not returned. I have tried calling their customer care service and also raised so many tickets but still I didn't get any resolution with respect to this. This company wants people to loose hope of getting there security deposit back.They just don't want to return. Please help here as it is very critical and provide me resolution from the concerned team.

                                        We moved out of the house on 29th Aug 2020. I visited their office physically in Dec as well and there has many times that they have opened a case and without any resolution closed. No mails or customer care calls work.
                                        I can attach and provide all the proofs. I want the rest of the money they are supposed to give me. This is so energy draining. This company should actually be banned to work without any code of conduct
