I had raised a ticket regarding rent reduction. After a few days i got a call from cust care exec that i need to fill move out request, post which i'll get a retention form. I didn't receive this form. Now they are saying it's not applicable in my case.
It's been more than a 3 weeks now that i've been pushing on this but still haven't received any resolution.
They are fooling customers with false assurances and then not following up on their commitment.

    This is regarding security deposit refund. It's been 3months since I moved out of nestaway apartment and they promised to refund. But till now I haven't received any amount. Also I see many of the tenants didn't get the refund amount paid. Also while leaving I have paid all my rent and whatever charges they had applied. I still didn't receive any amount. Please take this as priority and do the needful

    I got this email like ten times I have given enough details even then refund is still pending.
    Raised complaint in portal ..they reply and close the tickets..

      I signed an agreement with nestaway on may 2019 for one year.
      This agreement does not contain any mention of painting charges to be levied on move out,
      The rent is 13700 as per the agreement.

      I have not signed any new agreement with them and have requested them that i am mving out.
      When i put in the request i could clearly see that no painting charges were going to be levied only the charges for repairs if any.

      Now just a week before the scheduled move they have included a painting charge of 9000rs which is not fair also they have been taking 14700 as rent from me without any signed new agreement mmentioning the increase in rent.

      They do not have a working customer care number also they have no option to raise complaint through their website.

        I am shakti agrawal, a final year engineering student from bangalore, i started my internship in january 2020 and for that, i thought of shifting from my hostels to some rented flat. I don't know at what time the idea of nestaway came to my mind, and why on the earth i was agreed to take a flat on rent from nestaway and i am facing the consequences till now...

        Due to the covid-19 outbreak, i had to go to my home in march itself and couldn't live in the property since then even though i have paid my complete rent on time always.in the starting, i was not provided basic facilities. I have raised a lot of requests my registered email with nestaway is [protected]@gmail.com and you can check the total how many requests i have raised till now and most of them were closed without providing any solution.

        Now as i have vacated the place after completion of the lock-in period of 6 months whose date i confirmed with team nestaway only. Even after that, i have tried to contact nestaway allot of time and raised a lot of ticked still i have not refunded any security deposit. I was told in the starting that if i vacate the place in the original condition the painting charges won't be charged and even if charged the entire amount won't be charged. I have vacated my place on 16th july, nestaway says to refund the amount in 7-10 days, today after 12 working days i am trying to e-mail this to contact the authorities so that my amount must be refunded.

        From my total security deposit i was charged 15000 and 2100 that too without explanations, i am not given of any explanation. There were seepage issues that were not resolved before my move-in and now after move-out they are deducting the amount from my security deposit.

        I request the consumer forum to kindly look into the matter and ask nestaway to refund my security deposit amount as soon as possible.

          I stay in a rented 1bhk in doddathaguru, electronic city, bangalore. The renting and the service is provided by nestaway. On august 21, 2020 i contacted the property incharge (Via whatsapp) asking for move out for this month end. Later directly wrote email, for which i dint receive any response. Further, raised a ticket as well, for which they asked a move out date and later no response. Have done 3 levels of escalation, still nobody has contact me.
          NestAway Technologies customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          FYI, We have been receiving calls from Scammers mentioning they are from nestaway. They tried to access our phone via teamviewer QS software and access our bank details mentioning that want to directly transfer the deposit amount and giving fake Employee ID's.

          Name : Rahul Sharma, Arjun Singh and they have many different alias.

          Numbers we have received calls from are +91 [protected] and +[protected]

          We have already approached Cybercrime and provided the recording and every possible detail..

          And my friend who is a cyber analyst is already using his software's to track these scammers.

            I was staying in nestaway for more than 2 year and they took 3 months rent in advance from me in the beginning. Now i have left the flat more than 4 weeks back and still i haven't received the security deposit refund and more over after all inspection done now they have started putting unnecessary charges on my name to not return the refund amount. Even they are not replying to my emails and service requests. This is a complete case of fraudulent. I have a complete video recording of the flat while moving out which states that everything was perfectly fine up and running and in complete working condition in the flat. They are showing wrong information in their mobile and web app stating they will instantly refund the security deposit when we move out.

Along with this i'm putting some screen shots as well where we can see how they are harassing people with unnecessary charges without any bill/proof after moving out to restrict the security deposit refund. Here is my service request ticket numbers cc_08439540 with nestaway in which they are not responding and helping me.

            One more thing, my faltmate who moved out with me on the same date got full refund and i am still struggling

            Please help me with this so that i can get justice on this and get my money back from nestaway.

                  Its been 45 days that i left house from nestaway, nestaway is not refunding my deposit of amount 29000.
                  After several followups calls no action taken. They are not taking my calls nor replying on service request.
                  I am in dire need of that money as i have to pay rent next house.
                  Please help to get my money back.
                  They have turned off customer care call also.

                    I had rented a flat using nestaway app, and the submitted the security amount of 14000. On the day I was moving out, which was 7th august 2020, they conducted a house inspection to check if there was any damage which needs to be adjusted from the security and the guy told us that the inspection report is 100% fine and there's no damage or deduction needed from the security amount. After that I spoke to Nestaway customer care multiple times and raised service requests for refund. Finally I received my refund after more than 10 days and that too after deduction of 2500 in the name of house and AC cleaning, I don't understand what kind of cleaning costs 2500, I had a maid in the same house for house and utensil's cleaning which costed me 1500 for a whole month and AC service at max costs 400-500 that too if needed, we were not using the AC for whole summer since we were in our hometown due to covid-19.

                    I want my complete refund amount, without deductions.

                      I'm at the same end of my patience now. Vacated the property on 28th July. It will be 2 months soon and we haven't got my deposit back. Have had multiple conversation with the Nestaway shop that I have right next to my area but they are useless. You owe me 20k+ and m here waiting for it. During this pandemic, money is something which is very important and coz of you guys I have missed my payments at different banks as I have dependent on the deposit amount. How bad / helpless you guys can be. No one even called me to chat. I just had few SR numbers raised & conversation.

                        I have vacated the house in the month of July, I got my security deposit back.
                        But still my dashboard is getting populated with various kind of charges. what sort of ethics is this. I want my account to be deleted by removal of all charges.

                        I have no relation with nestaway I got my security deposit back after various fradulent deductions and now this .

                        Do you have any customer support or work ethics ?

                              They are charging Rs 200 For garbage collection and Rs 400 for cleaning common are but I didn’t found any service has been provided.

                              I have raised ticket complained about mentioned issue in there portal where they replied “checked with internal team they have provided service so charges are valid “

                              After including their “Area sales manager” in conversation they waived off Rs 200 because he said there is no garbage collector in the house but they are not waiving the Rs 400 and also not giving justification .

                              They are saying get in touch with Area Sales Manager for this service will be provided shortly but we are regret to inform you that charges are valid .

                              The whole issue is about charging without giving service and they are claiming that they have provided service .

                                Nestaway has charged me incorrectly. My dashboard has visit cost, other charges (Garbage charges) that have been billed to me. Due to this there have been fines that have been building up. Now since the time i have moved into this house i havent visited any other house and i have not agreed for my other charges to be billed to me. As per the agreement there was supposed to be no maintenance charge however the owner collects it regularly also i pay separately to the watchman to take the garbage otherwise he wouldnt. I have asked many times for nestaway to contact me however no one seems to do that. No one is helping me in resolving this. There is no customer support to speak to

                                  The security deposit was not refunded and they have imposed unfair maintainance charges and inspection charges. Also they have imposed early move out charges which is against the agreement, as I have given a proper intimation of 10 days. Need my money back

                                    This is roshani shukla stayed at 970, sector 29, noida with contact details +91-[protected]. I vacated the apartment on 31st aug 2020 and got the reimbursement of rs. 9, 700 /- instead of rs. 24, 600 /-. I have been chasing with nestaway but no response from their end. Please help me in getting the remaining amount.

                                      I've vacated on 31st jul 2020 and i've yet to receive my deposit refund. I've got mail mentioning that refund has been processed from your end and whatever remaining amount is there owner has to refund it to you, which you'll refund it to me. I've spoken to owner, he said you haven't given deposit amt to him at all. House id 129918. Even sr cc_08429952 says owner has to refund it, so we're closing the sr since its resolved. If i haven't received refund amt, how come it's resolved and closed?
