I am shakti agrawal, a final year engineering student from bangalore, i started my internship in january 2020 and for that, i thought of shifting from my hostels to some rented flat. I don't know at what time the idea of nestaway came to my mind, and why on the earth i was agreed to take a flat on rent from nestaway and i am facing the consequences till now...
Due to the covid-19 outbreak, i had to go to my home in march itself and couldn't live in the property since then even though i have paid my complete rent on time always.in the starting, i was not provided basic facilities. I have raised a lot of requests my registered email with nestaway is [protected]@gmail.com and you can check the total how many requests i have raised till now and most of them were closed without providing any solution.
Now as i have vacated the place after completion of the lock-in period of 6 months whose date i confirmed with team nestaway only. Even after that, i have tried to contact nestaway allot of time and raised a lot of ticked still i have not refunded any security deposit. I was told in the starting that if i vacate the place in the original condition the painting charges won't be charged and even if charged the entire amount won't be charged. I have vacated my place on 16th july, nestaway says to refund the amount in 7-10 days, today after 12 working days i am trying to e-mail this to contact the authorities so that my amount must be refunded.
From my total security deposit i was charged 15000 and 2100 that too without explanations, i am not given of any explanation. There were seepage issues that were not resolved before my move-in and now after move-out they are deducting the amount from my security deposit.
I request the consumer forum to kindly look into the matter and ask nestaway to refund my security deposit amount as soon as possible.
